I love that everyone in ygo is a nerd. Sometimes when people make HCs they can end up way off because if you know what the word "headcanon" means at all you are sort of a nerd, and you may not realize that the character you are talking about is a normie who does not remotely share your interests or experiences. Yet in ygo we start from a baseline nerd level of "enthusiastically plays magic the gathering" for nearly every character. This is why I don't sound insane or parochial when I say shit like "yeah Marik Ishtar would be doxxing people and playing flight rising"

#you just need to remember not every character is like this. and that at 16 some people were ''going to parties'' or ''playing sports''#but not these guys tho. theyre locker-shovable nerds fr. makes it special.
