[pm] Yeah? Well I'm not fucking relaxed, so clearly yours is fucking broken. And you did it wrong. I've healed from all kinds of shit. It's not supposed to /itch./ What, did you put something in there?
----
[pm] Maybe it's a skill issue on your part cause that bed is enchanted as fuck man, there are so many spells on that thing just so I can get some rest whenever I- I did it perfectly. Even when I'm tired I know what the fuck I'm doing with stitches. Lord knows how man I've had to do on--

I wasn't sure if I should go with a more "costume" angle or try for actual scrubs, so here are some quick shots at both. Honestly though, nursing isn't Zeph's strong suit - they don't do great with sickness or lots of blood. They like to feel helpful, but would rather do so in a different field!
That being said, they'll always be on hand if Terra ever needs to be patched up. Kisses can help just about anything feel better, right?

Being swordsman and a Cloud Knight Lieutenant, and as demonstrated when teaching March, I would think Yanqing does set aside some time for self-care that is not just eating healthy, exercising and maintaining hygiene.
In particular, he would keep an eye on his skin. Being the first line of defense for the body’s immune system, it would naturally be the first thing to examine when watching one’s condition, whether it be for changes in color (like bruises in case of injury, a sickly pallor or the appearance of new moles/freckles) or for dryness.
In the case of moles, he would visit the Alchemy Commission to have them removed and tested for anything malignant; and for long-life species, any other odd markings could be a physical sign of early-onset mara.
In the case of dryness, he typically has some ointments pocketed away (and also some lip balm, because a split lip is just a hassle to tolerate).
He would be especially mindful of his hands and feet (which is why March might be surprised that his hands smell nice) but especially his feet because it’s easy for most soldiers to gloss over dry heels until they finally start to crack, and eventually fissure and bleed, which can easily become a distraction and also slightly impact his mobility in combat. Ouch.
March is already a stickler for self-care even without training, so Yanqing doesn’t need to worry too much about her.
Yunli, on the other hand… How her heels manage to stay in good condition when she runs around barefoot, Yanqing will probably never figure out.

Well, it's been a hell of a couple of weeks, and one of many things that happened is that I ended up coming home from Urgent Care looking rather like fruit being packed up for long distance shipping.
I got pretty scraped up when I fell while hiking nearly a month ago. Then I got significantly better... and then I got a whole lot worse.
If you would like to avoid some truly disgusting and painful wounds, you should know that you are likely to develop an allergy to Neosporin if you use it for multiple weeks (and probably the same goes for other brands of over-the-counter antibiotic ointments, I'm guessing).

Y'know I did not realize how perpetually fuckin nervous I am every hour of the day until my sister offered me some of her edibles to try during the weekends.
Like, originally it was for back pain, but at some point I started noticing that 'Huh. Everything feels less hazardous?'
Like, any time I'm about to speak to anyone who is 1) over the age of 10 and 2) not in my immediate family, I think about what it is I'm trying to convey, plot out five different ways to say it, weigh potential connotations of word choice to figure out what I might unknowingly imply to avoid upsetting/angering anyone before choosing a sentence, calculate the most appropriate time of day to reach out/say it, rehearse it in my head/aloud to decide which version of my voice is most likely to make this go well, calculate the three most likely responses whoever I'm talking to might give depending on their emotional state so I can be prepared to respond to each of them... and then I talk.
This is ingrained. Active conversations are exhausting cuz I do all of these calculations in real time while talking, but at the same time I have to, or I just can't talk. (Which is a special kind of hell when half your relatives speak a language you're only sort of fluent in at the best of times). But then with the edibles, I'd find myself thinking 'Or you could just... not?'
The awareness that something could go wrong if I don't do it this way is still there, but I suddenly have the ability to just... not worry about it. Like 'Okay? There's a possibility this could go badly if we don't say something perfectly, but 'badly' in this context is still not that bad. Who gives a shit. This is noooooot worth this amount of effort.'

This is just a personal gripe but @ fic writers, it’s not best practice to put hydrogen peroxide on wounds, like ever. Don’t do that. Rubbing alcohol is better but still not great, saline and iodine wash are usually enough to get the job done

We just had an adventure. I heard a cat loud upset meowing and I was like Olaf?? And went looking, and realized it was coming from outside the door and was like OH NO DID HE GET OUT SOMEHOW and opened the front door and a strange cat ran in
So I had to pick her up and go knock on every door in the building to find out where she lived. And I did eventually find it on the third floor, while all the while I can hear Sputnik howling and crying from our apartment on the first floor because a strange animal came into the apartment, and then me and the strange animal disappeared, and he found it upsetting I guess
