I wasn't sure if I should go with a more "costume" angle or try for actual scrubs, so here are some quick shots at both. Honestly though, nursing isn't Zeph's strong suit - they don't do great with sickness or lots of blood. They like to feel helpful, but would rather do so in a different field!

That being said, they'll always be on hand if Terra ever needs to be patched up. Kisses can help just about anything feel better, right?

honestly my favorite part about working on monstra is the wide range of species and funny little extras you can tack onto characters. i know that sounds a little arrogant but i just love my little guys. these two characters are the same species isnt that crazy

Terra x Echo

1. What were their first impressions of one another?

Terra was the batch's medic before they rescued Echo, so they first met during that mission. At first, Terra is only concerned with Echo's health and getting him safely out off Skako Minor, after that though, I think she's very taken in by his obvious resilience. She's impressed by that and his intelligence right off the bat for sure (I mean man wakes up from THAT POW nightmare and is instantly strategizing? Dang, man is made of strong stuff). Echo's first impression of her is that she's competent for a natborn and obviously has some compassion. His very first interaction with her was waking up from that pod and her checking him over. She was efficient and professional, but there was still compassion in the way she softened her voice when asking him questions, making sure not work too roughly even given the urgency of the moment.

I hope you don't mind cheese bc this is gonna get cheesy lol Terra loves Echo eyes, they're so deep and expressive and she loves the color of them. She loves that twinkle they get when he's on his mischief, that softness during quiet moments with his brothers (and eventually how soft they get when he looks at her), she just really loves his eyes <3 Echo really loves Terra's hands. Despite how rough they feel she can be very gentle, especially when she's doing her medical procedures, which Echo appreciates given...everything. He loves how graceful they are when she plays her hallikset and could watch her fingers work the instrument for hours.

47. Who made the first move?

Echo for sure! Echo knows himself and what he wants, but he also knows Terra has a very troubled past. He take his time, slowly getting more and more flirty in ways that feel natural, familiar, even, and the more she reciprocates, the more he leans in. Eventually, in a moment where they're both sitting in the cockpit of the marauder, on the night watch together, they're talking quietly, about anything and everything. Before they know it they're leaning in closer, Echo reaches up to touch her cheek and closes the distance between their lips leaving just enough time for her to pull away if she wanted to. She doesn't, of course, she leans in as well <3

It's my big kitty's birthday today! This doodle was I could muster today but once my tendonitis is healed I will ABSOLUTELY be drawing more Zephyr for you @snepfeathers ! I've had a lot of fun over the past few months jumping into this wonderful community with you, and I'm beyond happy that we have the same interests and enjoy sharing this positive space with our new friends.
