Hello! Do you track actors who switch from Seme to Uke roles in different series, or vice versa? If so, question: In Chains of Heart (which I can't believe I was able to get through), Haii plays Ken, who I'm assuming is the Uke. He was a (tsundere?) Seme in TharnType 2, no? And his partner on screen there, Title, wasn't he just playing a Seme as Ana's ex in Future, different from his childlike Uke in TharnType2? Did they both switch roles in different series or did I just get that all wrong (very possible). How common is this besides the guy from Advance Bravely?

Actors who have played both seme & uke in BL?

I don't really track it but I do find it unique and interesting. Lemme scrape the brain meats.

You are right they are really rare but Thailand is making inroads as they move off of an obsession with height discrepancy, so there are more than you think.

Fact Check era was a real banger, actually. Especially the award shows. Overall, it was a successful power move after SM's inner struggle (which messed up 127's 2022 era, Ay-Yo delay) and before the enlistment period.

We thought 127 will continue, but no, they decided to take a pause. No 127 without Taeyong. The plan is evident now with Jae's earlier enlistment, 4 solos in one year, Yuta spending half a year in Japan (filming a series and doing his fancon tour), and Tae being on the album. Walk was a "We have our own pace" promise of coming back. An album for the fans, not for promotion (like Neozone and Fact Check were). A quick visit to LA and a few interviews to give something to the NA market, remind about 127 to k-pop audience there.

Jae's album had a short promotion, however, he spent a lot of time in Spring on filming a new tv-series. Do's solo career had a focus on him as a singer, while in Jae's case his actor side was given more focus (consider that he has a movie and a tv-series back to back after failed attempts (postponed tv-series, cancelled movie remake, and what happened to the musical?). And even his MV was focused on acting. Different priorities. It was more important for Jae to re-connect with his audience (hence lots of fanmeets) and re-introduce himself on tv (aperitif before his army band appearences).

Don't forget that 127 took "Best artist" and "Best performance" at Dream awards in August.

They were headliners on two big events. 260k of fans came to the concerts in Japan alone during Unity. And the final stop was Tokyo Dome. So many 127 neos are BAs or friends of houses (7/8, heh), which also gives the group visibility through individual activities.

It's not as doom and gloom as some fans want to portray.

Why are rain frogs so round? What's /inside/ of them around such an itty bitty skeleton?

So it turns out this is a really interesting question.

The first thing we must be aware of is that rainfrogs as we see them in videos of them squeaking are not quite the same shape as they are when at rest:

But you are quite right, they are very round. This is exemplified by the skeletal photo you refer to:

So what are we seeing?

Well, firstly, note that the body cavity in these frogs actually envelops the femurs, such that only the tibiofibula (fused in frogs) and the tarsals and metatarsals are outside the body. The arms are quite similarly enveloped, but a bit of the humerus does extend outside the body cavity too. This predisposes them to a rounder body shape.

Next, note the ilia - the U-shaped bone in the pelvic region. These in some breviceptid frogs are synostotically fused with the sacrum - that is to say, they are bound by bone-based connections to the bow-shaped vertebra at their tips. This whole joint seems to be quite smooth, and as a consequence, the back of the frog is quite smooth. The other thing we can see here is that the urostyle (i.e. the frog version of a coccyx) juts quite far beyond the ischium and pubis. This extends the body cavity beyond the hips. Note also that the pelvic girdle seems to be largely below the spine, rather than the typical position for frogs behind it and continuous with it. This makes the legs sit below the spine, rather than at its end, enhnacing the vertical roundness of the animal.

Next, let’s talk some soft tissue. Now, I’m not as familiar with soft-tissue in frogs as I am their skeletons, so you’ll have to bear with me a bit (rawr). Beddard (1908!!) studied the soft tissue of Breviceps verrucosus Rapp 1842. It seems that the majority of the body of these frogs is actually muscle. Beddard noted that muscles join the leg at the knee that extend into the body cavity, such that the inclusion of the thigh in the body cavity is further accentuated by musculature. The rectus abdominalis muscle is unusually large, extending from the lower abdomen up and around the sides of the body. Indeed, this large size appears to be the pattern with all of the major muscles, though in the throat the typical arrangement of large and small muscles is somewhat reversed. On the lateral side of the head, there is a substance that is not muscle, but appears to be loose tissue in which sits what is apparently the thymus gland.

There is a very large gap between the end of the urostyle and the anus (one fifth of the total length of the frog), in which there are almost no muscles, save for the one surrounding the lower cloaca. On either side of this area, between the posterior-most muscles of the thigh, lie two large ‘lymph-hearts’, as described by Beddard. These are between one quarter and one third of the total length of the frog. A further lypmh-sac sits between these lymph-hearts and the skin of the femoral region, and they are thus probably analogous to the femoral lymph-sacs of other frogs.

I find it interesting that Beddard (1908) did not mention any glandular formations in the dorsal region. As is evidence from many images (see below), these frogs are able to secrete a white, sticky, noxious substance from their skin (which they actually have to use during amplexus, as the male is too small relative to the female to mount her properly, and so he sticks himself to her with his glandular glue… kinky).

These glands do not apparently take up a great deal of the cutaneous tissue, and so I suppose are of no consequence to the size of the frog, especially relative to its enormous muscles.

The diet of these frogs consists almost exclusively of hymenopterans and isopterans (ants and termites). Neither of these insect groups are particularly fatty, so it is little surprise that their bodies appear to contain no large fat deposits - fatty bodies extend from the gonads up to the lungs and heart, but these comprise only a tiny fraction of the frog’s mass, and don’t contribute to the round shape. Instead, their bodies are extremely muscular, allowing them to be adept burrowers, ideal for their fossorial lifestyle.

So TL;DR: rain frogs are little balls of muscle (maybe the largest muscle mass relative to body mass of any vertebrate? science just doesn’t know).

Too much information for today. Grabe yung pagod ko. Walang paglagyan. Nag TUI yung learners ko, final exam nila. Make it or break it. Pagod na pagod ako literal.

Sinadya ko mag-maganda ngayon kasi sure ako na magkikita tayo. Parang timang 'di ba? Pero ayun, nag pay-off naman. Sobrang dami kong natanggap na compliment today. Haha! Ayern. Parang ang anems ko dito pero kasi gusto ko talaga pag nakita mo ako maayos ako tignan, fresh pa din. Maganda pa din.

Nagkita naman tayo e. Sa locker. Konting chika. Proud ako sa sarili ko kasi kinaya kong kausapin ka at mag pretend na normal lang lahat, na parang wala lang. Pero may mga force of habit ako na nagagawa pa din. Nakakainis. I'm happy to see you around. Sana mag stick around ka pa, a little longer. Hehe.

So... grabe ni siya na week. mej. so last week, well nakalimutan ko na ano day. basta final na na mag-alis na si lucas sa nct. </3

tapos gagi. kahapon. mag-alis na rin sa nct ang neo babies - shotaro and sungchan. potangina talaga ng sm. masayang ang concept ni lee soo man tungod anang bago nga gamanage ba. cguroon lang jud nila na mas gwapo na opportunity para kila sungchan nang natanggal sila dinha. mga yawa silang tanan. basi bala sa real talk lang, gusto jud nila tanggalon na lang sila sungchan tapos mga fans na lang ang nagapigil. potangina jud ana nila.

okay so karon sad na week kay naka early kosa many things. like sa math 10. naka-answer na ko in-advance sa duha ka assignment sa module 9. karon na week girelease na sad ang module 10 pero ugma or some day na lang sa to. cguro sa sunday. taposs sa physics sad kay naka-advance sad ko. gi-advance na jud nako kay makabwisit jud na paadtuon ra ko ug school para sa attendance tapos pwede ra diay answeron na lang sa balay. peste jud. kalas sa pamasahe sir.

taposss thursday, gahapon, hapitt jud ko mag-absent unta sa math26. sugot na jud unta ko dili mag seatwork. kay wala koy sinina ato na time. naglaba naman ko night before pero mao lagi basa pa sad. pero maayo na lang jud gipugos nako og adto og school kay ang seatwork wala gipost. tapos keri ra siya answeron . haha. abi ko mamatay jud ko kaanswer dili ma diay. tas ayonn. natapos ko siya within the period actually. wala lang jud nako napasa kay ma'am kay wala ko katuod sa iyaha. haha.

so after sa math 26 kay nagstat sad mi. niuli na lang ko and sa balay na naghimo. grabe kalat gud ang balay pero wala sad jud nako gihipos kay sa isip ko unahon sa nako ang stat aron paspas ko mahuman then mag chem na ko dayun. pero ang depota (me) kay nalangay og basa sa moudle na gamay ra man unta ang pages. hahays. nadistract and all na naman. as always. tsk. tapos natapos ko pa rin naman tho. before 6 pm. so congrats self. heheh. and thennn. ayown naligo ang hipos ako sa kwarto. peroo mga 2 to 3 hours na cp pa ang ginawa ko yawa jud as ehn. grabe na jud ni akong problem ba. mas mulala ra ba the more na busy ang panahon. peste jud. so ayun nanghipos ko og gamit sa floor and sa bed. andd. yun lang ginawa ko. di pa gid natapos kay natulog ra ko. dil na jud kaya sa akong brain so ayun natulog ako.

nagising ako mga 3 am kay cguro kay 5 hours na sad ako tulog. minimum time duration sa akong tulog jud. and aown nagkanta rin si mama narinig ko rin cguro. taposs nagpatuloy pa ako linis ng bed. wala na gani ko naligo kay isip ko nagligo naman ko night before. lol. dow gaga. then mga 6:18 na ako formally naka start study sa chem T^T. tungod kay. aside sa nagarrange and segregate ako ng notes, and nagtupi ng mga damit, nag cover pa jud ko sa akong phuysics na notebook T^T. kay mag f2f man gud daw mi ana si sir pero wala man gihapon natuloy. hahays. tas ayown . gitigil ko. halos gusto ko pa gid i-cover rin sa likod. pero wala na. nag chem na ako. nakaya naman buong chap 3 except sa conversion na part. ang chap 4 kay napaspasan sad nako pero dili pa jud buo. half lang. kay nagsayo judko og hawa sa balay. mga 9 sarado ko nihawa balay I think. naabot ko mga 9:30 +. tama ra jud. nakalingkod pa ko in advance sa classroom and nakahuman pa study sa chap 4.

taposs nagstart na exam pagka 10 am T^T. buing pa jud kay nakalimot pa jud ko sa mga formula. maayo na lang kay most sa mga questions na kailangan memorize ang formula kay nakeri ra jud. before ko magstart og answer kay gitry nako lista sa likod sa questionnaire ang mga naalala nako na mga formula. well dili jud ko confident sa akong score. pero mas daghan ko og na-answeran karon kesa atung first na long exam T^T. bagsak ra ba ko didtua. unta pasar ko sa chem. magcry jud ko og dili T^T. maski passing ra jud. huhu.

so mao ni akong week karon. so nauli ko og sayo diba. kay wala diay physics na lecture. buti na rin lol. ana si sir ipost ra daw niya ang online quiz pero wala man gihapon. basi busy jud si sir. maong gusto jud unta to ni sir na last last week ang quiz. so mao to nauli ko. ang gihimo nako kay... nagkaon lunch, nag cellphone laptop ulit. ambot unsa na acad req akong gihimo. ahh. nagtry ko pe 2. kaso gagi naa yata problema akong phone? dili tarong ang file if i-copy pagawas. dili siya basahon sa akong laptop. yawa sad. samoka jud oy. nangitngit na lang. wala pa koy progress sa pe na video. ayon lang.

soooo ugma diay kay manan-aw mi sa akong brother og the little mermaid ug magpalit sa kailangan niyana mga materials para sa science project nila. pero wala akong onhand money rn. secret din itong lakad namin so di ako pwede manghingi. pero pwede ako manghingi para sa project ng brader ko. hehe.

so ayun nga. triny ko rin pala magsend money sa tindera dito sa amin para makacash out ako sa kanila. kaso. daily limit na daw. gagi. tas 7:14 na rin. so ewan. gabi na masyado. so bukas na lang. maaga. dapat 6 pa lang gising na ako. mag-alis kami ng bahay mga 9 am. hehe. or 8:45. di man cguro yan traffic kay sabado man. peroo baka marami rin pala manood diba? mej gusto ko namarami kami manood? like maymga bata na magreact sa audience. na soft lang of course di yung to the point na distracting na. sheesh.

so. ang gawin ko tonight talaga ay i-prepare ang pagclaim ng ticket namin for tommorow. then ang bibilhin ng kapatid ko na materials para sa science experiment nila. and then ang schedule of events forda tomorrow.
