heyyy how’s everyone doinggg? sorry for the messy schedule by the way, i was in a writers block and can’t really figure out what you guys would like.. but i hope this is enough! so without further ado, please enjoyyyy!

-streamer!venti who would play horror name ‘just for fun’ cuz he thinks he’s brave enough to face the fear, yet he got goosebumps just by the title screen and background music.

-streamer!venti who loves pokémon and sonic the most. he has a full collection of their funko pop figures.

-streamer!venti who’s got the famous and iconic squeal when he’s excited.

-streamer!venti who often streams with his friend in aim to complete a horror game but they ended up chatting about how unicorns are fake and their delusions on them becoming a business man...

“CHAT CHAT CHAT HELP MEEE HELP ME WHERE- WHERE IN THE WORLD IS THE KEY- THE STUPID WAFFLELING KEY SHUTUP MONSTER SHUTUP YOU BIG POOPYHEADDDDDD” venti was screaming his lungs out by the horrors he got from the video game, not minding what could possibly happen if your neighbours have heard it. “shh venti quiet down! you’re being too loud!” you opened the door quickly to shush venti down, remembering what happened by the last time when venti screamed in the middle of the night… “oh yeah- sorry! AAAAAAA OPEN THE DOOR OPEN THE DOOR-THE KEY WONT WORK STUPID KEY STUPID STUPID STUPIDDDD” he was too focused on the screen that he even forgot what you just said. “VENTI! i told you to quiet down!” this behaviour or venti was tiring but still, you stayed with him even if you can’t have good rest. “oopsies… sorry y/n i- sighs i was so close to reaching the end!” he was now devastated since the monster succeeded to catch him and slash him in the game. both of his hands were placed on his hair as his elbows were on the table. another defeat of another game that he was on the edge to finish. you noticed what happened by his expression and felt guilt drowning your emotions. “ah- sorry.. i disturbed you, didn’t i?” you got closer to venti, patting his head in hope to cheer him up. “it’s fine y/n.. it was my fault too.. i should’ve been more careful” he looked up to see you with shimmering eyes, a mix of devastation and guilt. meanwhile you both were comforting eachother, chat was going crazy by the more-than-friends contact!

There’s many other AUs there, including multiple variants of the same AUs but as different races

H!DS is there. Delusion’s a vampire, Pluto’s a neko (not clickbait), Slash is a werewolf, Hunter’s a naga/lamia, Byte is a skidder/aracne (think centaur, but instead of Horse it’s Spider), and Gouge is a little rabbit hybrid creature.

There’s at least 3 different Jet and Obsidians, not counting actual alternates like Onyx and Raven.

Hunter is cold-blooded, which means he can’t regulate his body temperature on his own. This also means he’s VERY cuddly with warm-blooded humans. He wraps around you and hugs you and gently squishes you <33

the ladybug/yang miraculous is the conduit of 1st tier kwami, tikki; kwami of creation, light and fortune.

current holder/wielder: light fairy

their known abilities are:

sentinel: creates a creature with special powers that is loyal to them and their champion(s)

miraculous cure: either fixes all damage caused by a threat that was overcome, or fixes all damage that happened in less than 24(?) hours. the order is unsure which one it is as the latter's time can be increased by getting stronger and its possible to have both.

potentially:

lucky break: increases the holder's luck to absurd levels

weapon: unknown, and as tikki is the kwami of creation, it can be anything or even more than one. the default is supposed to be a yoyo with infinite string that can be used as a grappling hook or, by pulling the yoyo's sides away from each other, a staff. apparently it can also transform into a shield by growing or a sword in a way I couldn't imagine how until I was shown a drawing of it

notes: the order seems convinced that the hol wielder holds terrible intentions due to them being very secretive and never showing up in person. only dealing with the other rogue wielders and criminals through their champions and sentinels but if I'm being honest, I think they're just being paranoid since they never harm civilians. maybe the order doesn't like how strong and popular they are while they have no control over them

the black cat/yin miraculous is the conduit of 1st tier kwami, plagg; kwami of destruction, darkness and misfortune.

current holder/wielder: neko noir

her known abilities are:

cataclysm: destroys whatever she wants as long as she's touching it. the turtle and ladybug miraculous have the most resistance against this ability but the other miraculous are also somewhat resistant.

cat walk: allows her and others with her to travel through shadows/darkness.

catharsis: absorbs nearby destruction and turn into power. also called the yin version of the miraculous cure.

weapon: an extendable baton with a blade inside so it can turn into a scythe.

note: neko noir seems to have been raised in the order but maybe not necessarily by them as she seems to be in touch with technology and society. though it's high society she seems more familiar with.

the turtle miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, wayzz; kwami of protection and perseverance.

current holder/wielder: koki marina

her known abilities are:

shellter: creates a barrier that is either very resistant to physical damage with a minor resistance to special abilities or the opposite. the barrier can take on any shape I the holder wants and surround a person while allowing them to move with it, not unlike the barriers a certain hedgehog uses, or traps them inside it.

weapon: shield. captain America and naofumi would be proud

the fox miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, trixx; kwami of illusion and delusion.

current holder/wielder: imbrogliona

her known abilities are:

mirage: creates an illusion of anything she wants, though, the illusion can be broken very easily via a solid hit. how real the illusion is seemingly fluctuates on how familiar she is with whatever she's conjuring. I could smell gun powder after her shot with an illusion gun but her illusion of a garbage monster didn't smell or weigh as much as it should. though her illusions can be broken via a solid hit, that's only by miraculous standards. normal people need a gun to break them as far as I've seen.

fox (faux?) fire: allows the wilder to conjure orange fire that allows them to control the senses of whoever is inside them. it can even stick to people to allow them to, somewhat, control their mind. can effect cameras and sensors but unknown if its the same with ai. uncanny valley or markov could confirm this

weapon: extendable flute. thankfully, this can't turn into a scythe

note: she's might be very vain, poor or a kleptomaniac as her primary motive for using the miraculous is to steal jewellery, money or anything of value. her personality leads me to believe the first guess is the most likely one as her successful heists should have given her enough money to last her a while but she seems to show no signs of stopping this any time soon.

the peafowl miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, duusu; kwami of divination and desire.

current holder/wielder: argos

his known abilities are:

foresight: shows him visions that either relate to him avoiding danger or help in achieving his goal. they're usually very straightforward but they can become very vague when concerning other miraculous.

weapon: folding fan. the feather are very sharp and they shoot out to wherever he waves the fan at. they can also be plucked and if argos holds them by the quill, they grow and can then be used as a sword

note: his dreams have a high chance of being prophetic as well. he also seems exhausted but I'm not sure if this is due to his abilities taking a toll on him or his homelife as he is unwilling to talk to anyone about it. at least, to neither me or neko.

the butterfly miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, nooroo; kwami of transmission and transformation.

current holder/wielder: light fairy

their known abilities are:

metamorphosis: the wielder releases a butterfly that flies away to a selected being with emotions(?) and allows the user to grant them powers by transforming them into their champion. the stronger the emotion, the stronger the champion.

weapon: cane sword that can transmit its attacks through space or air. (supposedly)

note: this miraculous and its ability is how light fairy manages to use their abilities without being present and remain completely hidden. I was a champion once, the powers were awesome but the order doesn't like light fairy so we're not allowed to accept their powers now.

the bee miraculous is the conduit of 2nd tier kwami, pollen; kwami of subjection and synergy.

current holder/wielder: light fairy

thier known abilities are:

promotion: grants the holder the ability to grant themselves or an item a chosen ability. if the ability is granted by another kwami/miraculous then the other kwami's ability will be superior.

potentially:

hive mind: the ability to release a horde of bees that can take control of someone and turn them into their drone if they sting them.

weapon: spinning top, trompo specifically, that can be used like a rope dart or grappling hook via a string, and as a foil/jousting sword by pushing the top of it which causes the bottom stinger to grow. (supposedly)

note: the order thinks light fairy is using hive mind on all their champions via the metamorphosis butterfly even though there's so much proof they aren't. I just realised that I should have put all of light fairy's miraculous together... oh well

the goat miraculous is the conduit of 3rd tier kwami, daizzi; kwami of force.

current holder/wielder: bouc

his known abilities are:

ram: releases a huge amount of kinetic energy from his body. his step caused earthquakes that completely totaled Paris in his first appearance but luckily, light fairy's champion forced him to flee and the cure fixed everything. I wish I won.

weapon: a staff with a goat head at one end. it's like a battering ram.

note: completely ruthless and doesn't care about whoever or whatever gets destroyed. a monster who doesn't care about anything except getting the ladybug and cat miraculous so he can get 'the perfect world he earned last time but was stolen from him' or whatever. if not for light fairy making a champion that reinforced all of Paris and built many shelters after his first attack, Paris would be corpse filled rubble every time he attacks.

the ox miraculous is the conduit of 3rd tier kwami, stompp; kwami of determination

current holder/wielder: oxcellent

his known abilities are:

manifest: allows the user to use their will to control a light emnates from them and have it transform into whatever shape they want and if its transformed into items, it can preform the same things as that item. It's like a green lantern rings

weapon: huge hammer

note: seems to use villainy as stress relief or something.

Spring 2023 Anime List

Last season (winter 2022) had so much great anime, and watched 28 anime of the list, so I'm pretty pleased with that count. This season is quite doable as there's only 25 anime this time, rather lot of relationship and isekai anime. But will see, what will happen, and there's few anime which I'll hype so much. :D

Rather peculiar story, and PV looked interesting, so curious to see how this will go.

AAAAAAHHH!!!!!!!!!!!♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡ Finally something who made Starmyu!!!!! Also Arai Ken is back who made the music on Starmyu and Urashimasakatasen is performing OP. This is so good and so happy to see their exceptional work once again. The cast is unbelievable, and most of my favorites is in it. Story is unique, compaining art and music, and the execution is different. AAAHHHH, CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Anime of the season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PV looked pretty and it's always nice to see music anime and it's now about orchestra and violin players which is quite rarely portrayed, so happy and excited to see this. Also Chiba Shouya is main character's voice actor, there's also Enko Junya, Furukawa Makoto and Asanuma Shintarou.

When I first saw first poster of this, my jaw dropped to ground, naked men in the line. Very funny and unique PV, so very excited to see this and how it will turn out. Also the cast is so good, aaaahhh. venti; "which character(s) do you think you'd get actually get along with if you were to meet in person and who do you think you'd actually dislike interacting with?" on the list of people i'd get along with: zhongli, childe, hu tao, beidou, kaveh, nilou, candace, kaeya & venti (together, pls take me drinking /hj), amber, heizou, ayaka, yoimiya, itto and thoma!! on the dislike list, i actually don't think i'd get along too well with bennett? (cries), ningguang (intimidating) and miko (also intimidating, i'd be very much like gorou)

Satomi is so spoiled (he knows this and takes full advantage of it) when he’s with Kyouji. Starting from Karaoke Iko! it’s kind of how it’s always worked out— Kyouji paying for food and Satomi usually gets anything he likes.

The fried rice at the karaoke, the compensation strawberries, and even the meals they have when Kyouji comes to visit in Tokyo.

In the most recent chapter, he asks Kyouji to bring 20 pork meat buns from 551 HORAI and 2 cheesecakes from Rikuro’s for their last meeting.

Surprisingly, it's technically a pretty affordable amount of food.

🤎​His social skills with humans and cats alike need some practice so I doubt he would really treat his darling much differently at the beginning. Illumi in general is someone who doesn't really know how to act once he has his darling abducted. He only knows that he wants control and somehow also wishes that you return the love he has for you in a more open way than he is able to do. He remains indifferent to the fact that his darling is basically a Neko as long as he can keep them and form them into the lover he wants. It's due to the interference of his family that he comes to slowly change his behavior and seems to become aware that you act differently according to your cat side. His mother makes a fuss due to your cat-like appearance at first and Milluki, as the anime and Neko fan he is, desperately wants to meet and pet you. Silva and Zeno take it all with a cooler attitude, still wonder if your reflexes, stamina and senses are on a better point since cats are predators.

🤎​And Illumi is having none of it. He's possessive and just wants darling for himself, he does not want them to take part in assassination nor does he want anyone from his family interacting much with them. Milluki is due to his obsession with a Neko especially bad and there is a real danger that he will get himself killed from Illumi if he pushes his brother's nerves one more time. He had a few near-death experiences already when he tried to somehow sneak past his brother to get a glance of you. Maybe that all helps him realize that you are different, your own behavior only enhances that. If you are in the mood, you try to get some affection from literally anyone which irritates him silently, though he has ensured that everyone knows what happens if they touch you. The only option is going to him and even if he is rather awkward with it, he won't allow anyone else to touch you and he might start to understand why Milluki is so eager to pet you when you starts purring for him. Illumi starts focusing on your cat-like personality more since he realizes that it's a way to gain your attention and affection more which mirrors in the presents he gives you as a sign of his love.

Chrollo Lucilfer

📖He's always expressed curiosity in the nature of other people and the same definitely counts for his s/o as well. Especially since they are an animal hybrid he is interested whether or not the typical character of a cat is part of his darling's personality and he, frankly spoken, enjoys figuring his darling out. He never gets bored though, he finds it all rather endearing if he might say so himself. Chrollo is someone who wants to tame you if you're his darling and ironically or not you just happen to be half of an animal. Cats are known to have their own heads and do what they want to do which makes the whole thing much more interesting for Chrollo. He likes to explore your character and figure out how he can insert his own will slowly and steadily into you. Witnessing how you start to let your guard slowly down when he is around and how you stop hissing and baring your claw and teeth threateningly against him is a sweet reward for him. Patience and observation always pays off after all.

📖​Since you literally have a human and animal side on you, it's best for him to explore both sides equally and use both aspects to his advantage. Humans and animals might not be that different in the end though. A attached cat is known to get rather cuddly with their owner and enjoy their attention and pets so he knows very well that he has won you over the moment you start seeking him out for touches. Chrollo wouldn't necessarily call you his "pet" in the typcial sense, you're more like a precious treasure of his he wants to keep close to him until he is unable to do so. At the same time he's ready to use whatever is effective to not let you think of anyone else that isn't him. He puts his own pleasure above yours if he wants, is willing to indulge in what you want if it is a sign that you love and trust him enough. He forbids other members of the Phantom Troupe to touch you at first though since he plans to use your touch-starved side, whether stirring from the human or cat inside of you, against you so that you can only really go to him for any sort of touches.

Machi Komacine

🪡​Machi is a strict type and I don't really see her wanting to dehumanize her darling as her "pet", Neko be damned. You have to keep in mind that Machi is despite her sharp and rude attitude someone who cares much for her darling to the point where she worries for them due to their hybrid blood. If it's possible, she would like to avoid kidnapping her darling so she has to worry a bit about how others will react to you being different than the majority. She wouldn't admit it instantly, but she cares a lot more than she might show at first. It's not like you are a damsel in distress, you have literal claws to defeat yourself with after all. Machi is a cautious woman though and her little secret she keeps from you adds another layer of worries for her to think about. She wants to treat you like an equal to her and others, especially since you might have experienced bullying and a treatment like that of a cat that anyone can touch when they feel like it already. She works to gain your trust.

🪡​She's very willing to defend her s/o from anyone who thinks that they can harass them just like that, fear this pink-haired woman everyone. Your personality that resembles a cat causes her to worry sometimes a bit as well, even with your enhanced senses and strength. You chase after things that awaken your curiosity, climb on high things and your playful attitude can lead to problems sometimes as well. Some aspects of your cat-like behavior might be a little bit weird, she never calls you out for it since she understands that this is just part of your very nature. Sometimes she does scold you, mainly when you got yourself a bir ruffled up though. Machi is not known to be a cuddler so she gets positively flustered and embarrassed whenever you want to canoodle with her by rubbing your body boldly against hers or just climb on her lap. She wants to keep her tough act together after all, her facade has to crumble eventually before she gives in and indulges your cat-side.

Shuu Tsukiyama

🍷​Dear people, I present you...the drama king himself. Truth be told, Shuu is just totally over the top with literally every action he takes. He sees his darling in a role where he has to play the prince to save them since they obviously have to be saved. Even with you not being a ghoul who has to devour humans, you are still a freak in the eyes of the public at best and at worst another monster that has to be examined. He does you a favor by taking you with him and you should be grateful to him, even if he did all of it totally out of his own selfish desires. If we're talking about him still being the sadistic, little piece of shit it might very well end with him not only physically tormenting you due to you being a rare species and for that tasting very unique, but also mentally ending up teasing and mocking you and your cat-like appearance like the ears and the tail. Tsukiyama is such a wild card during the first few stages of his obsession so you have every right to prepare to clah with him and it isn't until his father appears that things change for you.

🍷​The struggle to hide your real self out of fear to be hunted down and killed is something Mirumo understands, both ghouls and you as a Neko can't do anything against the way you were born after all. On top of that the way Tsukiyama has treated you as a partner is unacceptable and so the life-altering lesson starts with the end result that Shuu turns into one of the most clingy and smothering guys ever. Suddenly it's all about spoiling you and keeping you happy instead of the constant fear of him wanting to take a bite out of you. I'd say that it's likely that it really might look like Shuu treats you like a pet, that is not quite the truth though. His father would never accept that for beginners and at this rate Tsukiyama himself has literally become a worshipper. Blame it on his overly affectionate side that some people might gain the wrong impression. The guy just loves to drown his darling gifts and affection and he finds the purrs you make adorable.

Giant Ass List on Why Ruby is The Entirety of Damn Skippy by Lemon Demon (With Some Pictures and Links!)

Hey there! You! The (most likely) BFB fan reading this!

We all know the greatness that is “Ruby Sings” that of which is canon actually. But there’s more to her being a Lemon Demon fan than Two Trucks! Yes! In this essay-ish thing, I’ll explain why she’s the entirety of the 2005 album Damn Skippy for it’s 17th anniversary!

[This will exclude the bonus tracks because they suck, also I didn’t listen to all of them and likely never will.]

Dead Sea Monkeys: She’d fucking suck at caring for pets like there’s really no denying that.

Hell, she’s probably shared sea monkeys with Gelatin in the past which makes it much worse.

Sky is Not Blue: To start, Ruby says the following in IDFB:

And on Genius’ page for the song, it states “[Sky is Not Blue] is about things that are usually one color not being that one color, but I don’t know why they’re not that one color.”

So by going by this logic, If Ruby found the sky to be a different color from earlier for example, she’d likely ponder for at least a little bit.

Pumpkin Pie: She eats so much sugar (Mentioned in her character guidebook entry, albeit the Sugar Stash shown below isn’t canon) and if you gave her a shred of pumpkin pie she’d likely beg you for more.

When Robots Attack: Since Ruby is shown to be quite childish (Mostly in BFDIA), it’s highly likely she has a wide imagination, and this is probably her playing Ultimate Showdown in a sandbox with some of Gelatin’s action figures.

Geeks in Love: She is canonically a Lemon Demon fan need I say more-

New Way Out: First off, here’s a quote from the commentary track, the quote itself being taken from the Genius page of the song:

“The lyrics to this are utterly meaningless. They’re not supposed to convey any sort of feeling. I just needed something to fill it up. If you try to pick this one apart, you have problems.“

Oh boy. Even with the power of BFB Ruby, you struggle breaking New Way Out down.

My thoughts with this one would be the same as When Robots Attack, but it’s getting a bit more accurate to her as a character. 

I would imagine this is her playing around with Flower.

What Will Happen Will Happen: It’s likely Ruby’s optimism at play here. I don’t have much to say for this so here’s the Genius description:

Kitten is Angry: It’s sort of like the Dead Sea Monkeys situation. Here, Ruby would love all animals even if they hated her in return, it’s kinda like that scene in Nyan~ Neko Sugar Girls. You probably know the one. I’m not dwelling on this any further.

The Ceiling: I don’t think I have to explain this one.

Subtle Oddities: Funny story about this one, not even Neil himself knows what this song is about. 

And I thought New Way Out was hard. 

What the fuck Neil.

For this one, I’m going to try and go off of my personal take on this song. That of which being the narrator is experiencing delusions in his giant house for an unknown reason. They aren’t harmful, but they’re spooky.

Perhaps around certain people (I’m thinking Teardrop or maybe even Leafy or Balloony), Ruby’s imagination goes haywire and it freaks her out. 

Yes, she knows she’s safe, she’s whole, and she’s got it under control. 

But she is a bit spooked for a while.

Gonna Dig Up Alec Guinness: GDUAG continues to tie into the silliness of Ruby. In this sense, the actions of the narrator digging up Alec Guinness for a tourist attraction could be shown as Ruby making bad decisions she may not realize are bad until told off for them.

Flamingo Legs:

“[…] This is another song that doesn’t really mean anything. I just, you know… pulled random stuff out of my brain. But at least it’s happy and pretty.”

This song is the true peak of Ruby’s widespread imagination being a key factor in the dissection of the more meaningless songs. While the song is one of the many random oddballs out there, it captures Ruby’s bubbly childishness a lot better than any other meaningless Lemon Demon song.

Random piece of trivia from OP: If Two Trucks didn’t become Ruby’s little piece of canon, I would have made her this song in my BFLD AU

Ode to Crayola: The song takes a very childlike approach, with the narrator going on about their love for Crayola and their crayons, with well known lines in the Lemon Demon community such as “I love my crayons and I love the way they taste“ and “I'm gonna rise at dawn with no clothes on and color on my skin.”

Saying that these aren’t screaming Ruby vibes would be kind of weird.

Rainwater: Like in Sky is Not Blue, I brought up the quote from IDFB that the world is a pretty strange place for Ruby. Rainwater dives deep (haha) into one big question.

Is it safe to drink the rainwater?

Has Ruby ever tried to drink rainwater? Who knows? Only time will tell.

Smell Like a Cookie All Day: I’d personally view this song as Ruby’s sugar consumption in of itself. Before you eat anything energy raising, you’d feel mellow, like during the first half of the song. It picks up in excitement from there, only to crash back down, only to spike back up again.

Dizziful Bliss: Ruby is shown to be pretty hyperactive, of course, but she’ll calm down eventually. And when she does, she’ll likely be tired. Dizzy, maybe.

Word Disassociation: This song would really just be Ruby being the silly little gem she is. Saying things without real meaning.

Eventuality: This song is primarily instrumentally driven, so I can’t say much about it without me overstretching.
