weapons for a mage of void who uses needlekind?
( starter weapon was a pair of sharpened knitting needles, if it helps. )
they have special intrests in bioluminescent life ( mainly glowworms and fungi ), herpetology, taxidermy and irish folklore, focused on faeries and changelings.
a few items around their room include snake skeletons, colonies of Mycena chlorophos, iron horseshoes, a sewing machine, a taxidermied fox and a book of irish folklore.
hope i did it right! <3
Indeed you did! Now, let's see...
Needlekind && Sewing Machine: Fastest Needle In The West
Losing perhaps a bit of aerodinamicity due to the added bulk is more than made up for by the ability to send your sharpened needle into a flurry of stinging pokes against your enemy at the press of a pedal! Always remember to charge it or connect it to a powersource though.
... && Iron Horseshoe: Lucky Sweater-Maker
A thick forked needle, apparently capable of redirecting luck based on how it's pointed. Perfect for skewering, casting double spells, tuning instruments a-la diapason, water dowsing, enjoying some bourgignon, and bludgeoning (it's heavy iron!).
... && Irish Folklore Bestiary: Herald of the Hidden
Carefully decorated with overlapping intricate drawings of all sorts of creatures, this paper-sharp needle might be able to conjure the obscure beings inked upon it into reality through the knowledge of a Mage of Void, pulling them from the shadows in which they live.
... || Taxidermied Fox*: Man-Knitted Mimicry of Nature
A fox-shaped needle. The sharp teeth of the animal are now composing the tip of the weapon, in a way that looks… A little cursed.
... || Mycena Chlorophos: Woods' Wand
A sturdy mushroom, large sticky cap flattened against the stem and ending in a sharp point. In the dark it glows uranium green.
... || Snake Skeleton: Slithering Sting
What species of snake resembles so much a knitting needle, with bones so tightly attached to one another and a snout this sharp?
*the result will be similar with different kinds of taxidermied animals, exchanging the sharp end of the needle for fangs/horns/claws and the material for bone and fur/leather/scales.

just realised a neat thing.
so, the beta kids' respective denizens are typheus for john, cetus for rose (not technically explicitly confirmed but cetus is her browser so its basically confirmed), hephaestus for dave and echidna for jade.
dave and jade have, at some point, obtained weapons from their denizens; davesprite gives john the code for fear no anvil, hephaestus's hammer, and jade has the quills of echidna at some point because they're a part of the bunny's arsenal. obviously, these match the strife specibi for the other two kids, with the quills being needlekind.
ahab's crosshairs is a reference to captain ahab from moby dick, who was killed by the titular whale. the constellation commonly associated with cetus is the whale. it's therefore not out of the question that at the very least something similar could be obtained if rose ever actually interacted with her denizen. and ahab's crosshairs is riflekind, the specibi for jade.
so in theory, the denizens give out weapons suitable for other players, and typheus could probably give john a sword (that would inevitably get broken via shenanigans) to suit dave's bladekind
#homestuck#homestuck theory#i dunno i just think this is neat#the whole ahabs crosshairs thing is a stretch but its neat#rose lalonde#dave strider#john egbert#jade harley

Things to Include in Writeblr Intro Posts
I wanted to make this list because whenever I create a new story, I always scour tumblr and other people's posts for inspiration for what to include in my own posts. I always end up forgetting what I found and liked so here's everything compiled.
You don't have to include everything within this list for your own posts, this was just a general summary of everything I saw. The bolded items are things I strongly think you should include, but again it's up to you and your preference.
Below the lists, I've also included character development resources and writing advice. Hope you enjoy! Everything is beneath the cut.

Ayy, it's another zero grist recipe!
The SORD..... also cost zero grist, but it was in a different denomination. Is there a difference between these recipes, or are they equivalent?
Maybe you need to have seen the grist denomination in question. Perhaps, if she hadn't encountered that gem before, Jade would be looking at an unusable question-mark recipe.
Loving the goggles on the Duttle. Truly, he is gazing into his own soul.
Anyway, we've finally finished all four alchemy sessions! That's a serious milestone - and a bittersweet one, because it might mean we're done with alchemy for good.
Oh, pack it in, Ampora.
Destroyed in five messages flat.
CA: lets not get distracted by your sad league of suitors and their flushed desperations CA: im offerin you the edge here CA: in your rivvalry wwith the other female
I never expected Eridan to endear himself to me this Act, but I am mildly impressed that he's actually more of a prick when talking to the humans.
CA: wwevve got the same abstratus CA: and i dont need this thing anymore CA: since i became more powwerful than you could evver imagine as a mighty wwizard of wwhite science
Presumably he's using needlekind now, like our other spellcaster.
Where did he get needlekind, actually? None of the other trolls use it, which I guess implies he picked it up from an Underling, like John did with bunnykind. If this game has been holding out on showing us magic-wielding Imps, I'm going to be pissed.
So Eridan is a 'wizard of science', which makes it sound like he's wielding his wand in defiance of magic. Perhaps he's channeling his skepticism into some sort of antimagic, which might actually become a problem. Sburb - no matter what anyone else says - runs on magic.

Maybe Smuppets Aren’t So Bad, Actually???
(page 792-800)
800 pages! This comic is gonna hit 4 digit page numbers before we know it. At the current rate it’ll happen right around the new year.
We learn why Jade’s shirt changes design, and it’s one of her inventions – the WARDOBIFIER. Jade lives on this island that’s extremely tied to Skaia’s power – the frog tower has its own ‘seven gates’ climbing its sides so the frog might represent Skaia itself – so does her technology only work because it’s drawing on that power? Would a wardrobifier be recreatable, following her exact design plans, by a top of their profession scientist/engineer who didn’t have access to that power? Something tells me it would not, so it’s lucky the world is ending because otherwise she would get a bad shock on her first day at MIT.
Jade is like the anti-Dave. While Dave is curating an image, scared to enjoy anything too genuinely, constantly analyzing the layers of irony between himself and his interests to keep them acceptable and ‘cool enough’, Jade will just enjoy whatever weird shit she wants without thinking too deeply about it. She gets SO excited when the electromagnets in the Squiddles work (she totally installed those herself!) and does the big :D just like John when he’s happy. She plays pretend with the Manthro Chaps, which are objectively the most cursed item in any of the kids’ houses (VACCINATION KITS AND DISHWASHER SAFE SLOP TROUGHS???? This is a crime) but she plays with them so innocent and earnestly that it circles back around to being okay.
And of course, she’s a furry – specifically a wolf. Although furries might be a point of ridicule to 2009 internet users, this doesn’t feel placed for shock value, it makes sense for her character. Of course somebody who is okay with playing an instrument badly, will squeal like a piglet and run around shaking fertilizer everywhere, invents a machine just to give herself more shirt designs, and still happily plays pretend games with dolls and stuffed animals at 13 isn’t too attached to human social norms, and of course that person – who also loves nature – will feel more of an affinity with the animal kingdom.
And instead of laughing at her, Dave is cool with this. He drew Sweet Bro and Hella Jeff with ears and whiskers for her! I think Dave wishes he could be more like Jade, understanding deep down that she’s having more fun with her interests than he is, but he’s not safe to be that person day to day. That’s why he smiles during their conversation (p.382), because she’s the person he lets down his guard for.
I think ‘riflekind’ is a boring strife specibus. Rose’s ‘needlekind’ is the best of the four kids, the only one not commonly used as a weapon, although I will give Dave a pass because swords kick ass. But the imps have ‘bunnykind’, ‘umbrellakind’, ‘bookkind’, ‘tirekind’, etc, and Dad has ‘cakekind’ and ‘shavingcreamkind’. I wish the main characters had cooler ones. What if Jade had ‘squiddlekind’? I’m certain their electromagnets could be used to dangerous effect – she could place two either side of an imp’s head and crush it, and could easily retrieve each Squiddle by attracting it with another one.
Page 796 proves @tenaciouschronicler was right (as usual). The pumpkin has disappeared from Jade’s sylladex! So captchaloguing an item does NOT keep it completely safe, although, what the fuck are the appearifier coordinates for somebody’s abstracted inventory??
> Jade: Change your WARDROBIFIER to its ‘Fursuit’ setting.
#homestuck#reaction#577 words but i Cannot stress enough how many of my act 2 posts hit 1000. this is a success#chrono

Someone left a comment on the tags of the Rose compilation I posted last night suggesting that the Roses should have slightly different names which I actually like a lot, especially so I can differentiate between the two rose strilondes, sooo have the (unofficial) names for all the alternate Roses + their chumhandles and weapons! Subject to change if I feel like I found something more suitable but here are now.
Just in case the text is too small, here they all are in order from left to right;
Rami Egbert / tabooTroublemaker / Planchettekind
Rhys Strider / thornlikeTemperament / Bowkind (as in, violin bow)
Rose Lalonde / tentacleTherapist / Needlekind (I mean you already know)
Ruby Harley / towetTranscription / Wandkind
Rory Crocker / trivialTurnabout / Needlekind
Rina Strider / tacitTheocrat / Dollkind
Rhea Lalonde / toxicTragedy / Poisonkind
Rian English / tyrantTestimonial / Crossbowkind
Nobody asked me to give them all chumhandles and spend two hours looking at words that start with T but I did it for them
#homestuck#homestuck sprite edit#sprite edit#rose lalonde#canon#kidswap#oh god I actually have to tag all of these#rose egbert#rami egbert#rose strider#rhys strider#rose harley#ruby harley#rory crocker#rose crocker#rina strider#rhea lalonde#rian english#rose english

on your point about the self-referential nature of homestuck, do you have any specific tips for people that want to create such an effect in their own webcomics? I'm just very interested in *how* homestuck was made, like in storytelling decisions and stuff, and I think that it's self-referential nature might be one of it's most consistently well-done qualities
sorry i got back to this one so late, i've been game jamming. so i think the biggest thing you can actually do for yourself is build pattern recognition when it comes to your own work. like. there's this advice that i think came from pixar but it's good advice and pixar hasn't made an uncomplicatedly good movie since the obama administration, so, like, grain of salt on that source.
it's that writing multiple drafts is an advantage because you can write your story first, and then go back at it with a critical eye and pick out your recurring beats, and finding ways to emphasize and represent those beats in meaningful ways becomes part of your story. this is the first part of what is ultimately pretty rudimentary symbolic work, though. like. "oh this sword represents the heros bond with his family"
where i think things like homestuck and petscop differ is that they sort of use narrative beats as symbols in themselves - homestuck is broken up into 4 parts, and each one is an iteration on the last, and it's actually really clear here from how much of a fucking flex the dancestors are, narratively. and that sounds insane to say, because they're terrible, bad idea characters, but like. consider the narrative profile of a character like damara.
damara's got a lot going on in openbound, but we can break it down into some digestible chunks of beats from other characters's stories: there's obvious imports like the megido name, of course, but you also get interesting stuff like using needlekind, and using those needles to do suicide threats, which puts this kind of abstract "rose-ness" in her profile. her relationship with rufioh ended tumultuously, with rufioh being paralyzed from the neck down, which resulting in him having a robot horse body. this puts "vriska-ness" in her profile, who is already loaded down with rose-ness by virtue of being a light player. this paralysis was also remedied by horuss kissing rufioh's severed head in front of a mountain, and involved sending rufioh the horse body piece by piece, this puts rufioh and horuss in the position of both of them having dirk-ness and jake-ness, which puts jane-ness in damara's profile too, which then turns into very indirect foreshadowing when damara's attempts at sabotaging the dancestor session are reflected in jane doing the same, spurned on by the same character, even.
(plus, if you read bdth: there's more. i've written so much more.)
another, that's a little bit more complex to explain, is the idea of tokenization. this is an idea that petscop expresses really well. i'm kind of cribbing from nightmare masterclass here, but in petscop, there's these things that are called "caskets". these caskets are not literally caskets (that which contain the dead) but they are called caskets by the game itself, which both groups the items together as a thing to be understood in terms of itself and very little else, it's sort of an insane flex too - just like. "here is how these items are grouped and a guiding word as to what this grouping entails, find the pattern in this or don't", it's all very abstract in ways that i find very very compelling.
there's a non-mechanic in petscop that i think is unbelievably compelling, which is that there are these "symbol blocks" - that's all they are. they're a block with a symbol on them. these symbols recur in multiple places, and their only purpose is to imply a correlation between the places they show up, and thus, it becomes self-reference.
another thing i think you could look at is the game thoth, which is a similar fuckin. masterclass in visual language. this is a twinstick shooter with no text in it besides level number, and the way it builds its visual language using just shapes and their relations in a space is fucking impeccable. when you're deep in the game, you recognize what an enemy will do immediately from its appearance, and that appearance is like, concentric circles.
recognizing these things, drawing these lines between recurring ideas, reusing ideas wholesale to create new expressions of ideas, that's the basis of all of this. its like hypertext! two webpages that link to each other are almost certainly involved in the other's function!
It's also logical, since there is essentially nothing new in paradox space. Everything that can happen is either a visual or substantive reproduction of something which has already transpired on a timeline, offshoot or otherwise.
#granted one of the pitfalls of abstraction is that it can be used in some really truly unintended ways.#jade is on-screen when its storming in bdth and i wonder how the shock fic homestuck interpretation community likes that#ITS BEEN LIKE TWO WEEKS SINCE I WROTE A POST THATS TOO LONG ABOUT HOMESTUCK#HOW I MISSED IT

Oh wow, Prequel AND Homestuck updated this week? What year is it?
Dehydrated, grieving, and coming off of a particularly nasty sugar high
Sugar high, huh? One of my little theories is that Jane has the lollipop Juju still. Is that a theory? Maybe it was confirmed at some point and is just a thing that happened? I dunno, man, this comic's so long.
JANE: Sigh. JANE: Jake, do you remember when I went to the moon?
Jane's been to like several moons at this point but wait is this in reference to the snapchat epilogues, where Jane was kidnapped by carapcians? Those are actually officially not canon and no longer available, which I supposed makes them appropriate to mention in a story about the nebulous nature of "canon" to stories. Or maybe she's talking about something else.
JAKE: Uuuuuuuuuuuuh. JANE: No? It was a huge deal. JAKE: Was this around the time all those carapacians took a big chunk out of it?
Oh my god, it is referencing the Snapchat epilogues. They ended in a cliffhanger and got deleted, but Jane got kidnapped by someone and sent to the moon, where she met Jack Noir (the one who became Beq Noir) and the Felt who were there for some reason and then the Snapchat comics abruptly stopped and were decanonized so it was never explained.
JANE: Just what did *you* do, besides whimper like a kicked dog, as they took our boy away!? JANE: "TAVVY!" JANE: You can fly, you idiot! JANE: You're such a harmless, dunderheaded fucking nonentity that those seditious connivers would have *let* you tail them! DIRK: (Ouch.) JANE: Everything he has, *I've* provided. JANE: Everything he is, *I've* nurtured! JAKE: (Criminy, bro, she has a death laser.) JAKE: (Like goldfinger.) JANE: Remember how I willed him out of my body, 3 months premature, because I was so excited to see him?
This is Homestuck, so the line about how Jane forced Tavvy to be born early is either a what the fuck random joke like the guy who confessed to Jade he microwaved a hamster, or crucial important foreshadowing that'll pay off in 600 pages. Quite possibly both.
JANE: Across all the iterations of yourself, do you think your children ever felt even a MODICUM of that? JANE: Jade? Terrifying, JANE: I hate even thinking about it. JANE: And I don't doubt for a second that there were more. JANE: How do you imagine they turned out?
Speaking of referencing Other Media, this is an unintentional reference to Grandpa Harley's secret kids from Hiveswap, in particular Joey, who seemed to really hate him and have good reason for doing so. Lot of Expanded Universe references suddenly. It might be that this particular writer has a thing for references, but it might also be setting something up. And earlier update also referenced Pesterquest.
Also, engaging with the text on a non-meta level, yeah, Jake English is top ten worst parents in Homestuck, though he's still beating Jane herself.
Messy Jerry Springer melodrama?! In Candy?! Unprecedented.
JAKE: Gamzee. JAKE: Via some vile cosmic caper or another it is *always* gamzee! JAKE: He found out! JAKE: Started rambling on and on about "how motherfuckin' malicious" it was to see "A dIfFeReNtLy AbLeD bRoThEr MiSsIn' OuT oN tHe NiRvAnA oF tHaT nUtTy MoThErFuCkIn' NeCtAr." DIRK: (Why are you doing the voice?) JAKE: "ThErE's WhOlEsOmE, hOlIsTiC hEaLiNg PrOpErTiEs AlL uP aNd StUfFeD iNtO tHe HaRmOnIoUs UnIoN oF pB aNd J." DIRK: (You don't need to do the voice.) JAKE: "WhAt EvEn Is ThIs SuLtRy BiTcH oF a LiFe WiThOuT a LiTtLe PeAnUt BuTtEr JeLlY tImE?" DIRK: (It'd be so sick if you stopped doing the voice.)
Homestuck characters impersonating each other is always a solid gag.
JAKE: After that, the insane clown started stowing peanuts around the mansion, tricking little tavvy into eating them! JAKE: Poor squirt was thrashing throat-first into anaphylactic shock bi-weekly. JAKE: I epipenned him so many times, i learned needlekind! JAKE: Worried myself as sick as our boy was, just wishing that nutty nightmare would nix. JAKE: Then, wham. JAKE: It did! JAKE: Thank god! JANE: I- JANE: I had no idea. JAKE: Of course you didnt! JAKE: You werent there! JAKE: You might have expelled him into existence with your easy-bake tuna canoe. JAKE: But i kept him alive!
I'm not sure if that's how peanut allergies work, but "easy-bake tuna canoe" sure is a line.
JANE: I didn't even fucking breast feed him! DIRK: (Which is fucking crazy, all things considered.) JANE: I don't... even know what his first word was. JAKE: It was "honk." JANE: Jesus Christ.
This is such a fucking weird family. Also, a very odd attempt at a Jane...redemption arc? I guess it's important to make her more than a Trump analogue, even if there's a worryingly high chance of that reference becoming relevant again soon.
JANE: The rest of you couldn't be trusted! JANE: None of you even bothered to graduate high school! JANE: While you were all being shut-ins, and self-destructing, and fucking... cavorting!!! I was making public appearances. JANE: Somebody had to represent us, so people wouldn't assume the worst! JANE: They waited 5000 years for us, and for what? To see there was no plan, no reason, that none of their gods were really on their side. JANE: I had to become an adult before ANY of you decided to catch up.
I feel like this motivation doesn't really explain the Troll racism. I was kind of hoping that Jane, like Rose, didn't think of Earth C as "real" and was basically just larping as a dictator in their little game, and that's why she helped raise Yiffy. It seems like we're going in the opposite direction? Jane wanted to live up to the status of a God? You can kind of tell this wasn't the original plan for her.
JANE: I even forgave you for Dirk. JAKE: Forgave me for... for being with him? JANE: What? JANE: No, I was always an ally first when it came to that. JANE: What's a... a dalliance between bros, really? DIRK: (Word.)
Everyone in this comic is some kind of lunatic.
JANE: Dirk just never *got* you. JANE: He thought he could figure you out, make all the right moves, and you'd be happy. JANE: But people have to want themselves to be happy. JANE: And the only thing you've ever consistently wanted was to be absolved. JANE: I understand that now. JAKE: ... And? JANE: And I accept you, Jake! JANE: That's why I have confidence our union will endure forever. JANE: You release me of all my doubts. And I can't be disappointed by you. JAKE: Huh...
Jane's....maybe not wrong in her reading of Jake, here. His whole shtick is wanting to be a cool action hero, or at least a respectable dude, and not being able to do so. But Jane's wrong that he can't disappoint her.
JAKE: Do you still need that water tested? JANE: Haha, no. JANE: I drank it all in my hysterics without even noticing. JAKE: And youre okay? JANE: Completely fine! It really was just... water.
This is pretty clearly Thematique™. None of the threats Jane is worried about are ultimately real.
JAKE: Her guard is down... DIRK: And you have a gun. JAKE: I have TWO guns.
I do love, though, that we immediately transition from Jane going "I will love and forgive Jake forever, for I have nothing to truly fear" directly into Jake going "I should shoot my wife".
DIRK: He's gone, dude.
Oh, this is a great reveal. Brain Ghost dirk lowers his glasses so we can see he has Jake-Green eyes, confirming to Jake (and the audience) that this Dirk is a figment of Jake's imagination, and not "connected" to Ultimate Dirk in any way. That's just such a cool way of conveying that information.
DIRK: It'd be the only reasonable excuse you'd have for nipping this uncomfortable epiphany in the bud so you could slink back to following orders from Dirk. JAKE: ... JAKE: Gods hooks, i backflipped right into my old ways! DIRK: Don't beat yourself up about it. It's a running theme with literally everybody we know. DIRK: You all get caught up in these feeling jams, hugging it out in self-realizational bliss. DIRK: Then, bam. DIRK: Premature ejaculation. DIRK: That passionate growth grind ends before it builds to anything actually satisfying.
And Brain Ghost Dirk telling Jake the real hard truth that he needs to stop listening to Dirk and looking for someone to tell him what to do.
DIRK: You're fully dressed Jake now. DIRK: Sitting on the sticky floor of a custodial closet, hidden away from anything certain and good in this world. DIRK: Alone. JAKE: This is scary! I dont like this. DIRK: Fuck yeah it is. This is sweaty, achey, burning transformation, brother. JAKE: I want to go back! I want to be the other guy again. DIRK: You can't be the other guy anymore, Jake. DIRK: We're sending him upstate to live on a beautiful farm, where they're gonna immediately drag him out back and put him out of his fucking misery. DIRK: Remember when you told Egbert you wanted someone to hold you accountable? JAKE: No. DIRK: Well. JAKE: Nooooooo. DIRK: "Here's Johnny!" JAKE: AAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! JAKE: Oh...
This is very Disco Elysium
JAKE: Cripes, if there really is no magical component to all of this, JAKE: if youre really gone, JAKE: then i am simply a forty year old man... being led by the nose... by an imaginary friend. JAKE: That is not cute. DIRK: It's kind of cute. JAKE: No! JAKE: Its mental illness! DIRK: It can be both.
It's also Homestuck
JAKE: Everyone is waiting around for this better version of me to pop up, but thats never going to happen. JAKE: Because if it did, it wouldn't be me anymore. DIRK: So, are you trapped being Mr. Pissy Pantyloos Loser Man no matter what? JAKE: Sort of.
Jake is defined by being a loser. What happens if he grows? He becomes someone else, same as happens to us all when we change.
JAKE: I never really understood all that much of the "doomed timeline" hoopla you cerebral types tend to gab on about. JAKE: But... its nice to think that there might be countless janes somewhere out there who never stopped being happy. JAKE: Baking, getting up to all manner of lighthearted mischiefs... true blue all around. JAKE: When i think of her, thats whats real to me. JAKE: What she is now, what these rotten unenviable circumstances have made of her, its all just... DIRK: Happenstance. JAKE: Is that stupid? DIRK: Probably, but you're a god of Hope.
Aw, I like that take.
JAKE: If i can believe in those janes, JAKE: i think i can let this one go. DIRK: Extravagant hoops to stumble through just to keep believing, man. DIRK: It's sneaky. I like it.
Even if this is the most cynical take on a hope-based hero I've ever seen.
Oh hey, it's the kids! All together for the first time! I'm shocked this big meeting is happening silently like this while someone else conversation narrates over it.
Fun fact: At no point in the entirely of Homestuck do John, Jade, Rose, and Dave have a conversation with all four of them together.
I was wrong last time, this is the page leading into the promised big flash. There is no longer anything left in Meat or Candy do to but [S] Get to the Point.

More info about the trolls (part 4)
Karkat Vantas | Purpleblood - Prospit - Bard of Blood
A killer clown who's almost always on a rampage. The only way to calm his crabby self is to show him a romance movie. He likes befriending crabs by the beach and doing terrible acting.
Planet: Land of Meat and Haze | Screen name: clownprinoGeneticist [CG] | Fetch Modus, strife specibus & quirk are all the same
Kismesis: Terezi Pyrope | Ex-Matesprit: Nepeta Leijon
Godtier? No
Nepeta Leijon | Violetblood - Derse - Prince of Heart
Once soft and kind, her highblood status eventually grew into her as she aged and became cold and mean. That made her stop hunting and roleplaying and the change of attitude made her relationships much more complicated. She seems to enjoy crocheting and drawing the finest of arts.
Fetch Modus: First Aid Kit Box | Planet: Land of Coffee and Seas | Screen name: appealingCatfish [AC] | Strife Specibus: clawkind + needlekind | Quirk: replaces ':33' with ':<<'; says a mixture of cat puns and fish puns; doesn't roleplay much anymore
Matesprit-Kismesis: Feferi Peixes | Auspitice: Aradia Megido | Moirail: Equius Zahhak | Ex-Matesprit: Karkat Vantas
Godtier? Yes
Kanaya Maryam | Fuchsiablood - Prospit - Witch of Space
A very easy going fuchsia who, unlike most trolls, holds an interest for fashion and likes sewing often. If angered, she won't be hesitant to cull you. Due to being spied by the Empress, her creative ideas end up getting stolen and the Empress receives all the credit for them, making her very sad. She and her Lusus are quick to cull those whom they catch syping on her.
Fetch Modus: Purse | Planet: Land of Stars and Frogs | Strife Specibus: 2x3dentkind (switched with Feferi) | Screen name & quirk stays the same

@needlekind's OC Dodona and her bestie Kari out picking wildflowers!
[Image Description: Digital artwork of two women shown from the hips up in a field of wildflowers. Kari, on the left, is light-skinned with long brown hair. She wears a black robe and black witch's hat with bright pink stars on it. Dodona, on the right, is light-skinned with gold freckles and long bright pink hair. She wears a yellow apron dress over a pale long-sleeved shirt with a faint leaf pattern, round pink glasses, a yellow hair kerchief, and a translucent pink cape. Both are holding picked flowers, and Kari grins as Dodona leans in to tuck a flower behind her ear. /end ID]

i think damara/the handmaid and rose would find things to talk about, probably enjoy eachothers company
both dangerous and feared women, both victims to doctor scratch, both use suicide threats during strifes (( as well as needlekind! ))
and if rose was to ever compare her situation living with her mom to what damara grew up like damara could stare at her like how vriska stares at john when he compares cake to mindcontrol. do you see my vision
