I think she’s fairly out of touch with how bad things actually are. She’s lived a pretty good life all things considered and being the lowest midblood means that she isn’t likely to get culled for stupid bullshit, but she isn’t likely to be important. She thinks clowns are hawwwt and Kurloz doesn’t want to hear it.

Maybe she’s partially deaf currently due to Kurloz, and Kurloz has taken a “vow of silence” without doing the extremes quite yet…

KANKRI VANTAS

Kankri Vantas, Seer of Blood, 6 sweeps (13), He/Any, Batkind/Clubkind, counterculturalGuardian

First and foremost, he's a punk, and he'll make sure you understand that very clearly. Not a goth, not an emo, P-U-N-K. He is against societal norms and aims to be as subversive as she can possibly manage... while also making sure that it's clear just exactly what their rebellion entails and who isn't allowed to take part of it without stepping into a different subculture. And taking great care to make sure she's not actually doing anything too risky that might put her life on the line. So in short, they’re a keyboard warrior claiming to be revolutionary.

Kankri is something of a recluse, only going out in person to attend musical events for his favorite artists who are most likely not to get culled on stage for anti-empirical beliefs. The only person of the friend group who has actually met it in person would be Mituna, who only came by to help install a VPN after dropping Kankri's IP in DMs. Most of his days are spent listening to pirated music, arguing with people online about just what aesthetic they fall in line with, and recreational usage of hard substances for shits and giggles.

While she holds zero interest in quadrants or pailing, she openly talks about various types of attractions and perversions in a show of solidarity to those outcast for their sexual tastes. A lot of his clothing depicts explicit messages and imagery. Even still, he refuses to discuss his own or any of his peers, due to the belief that anyone who has not been banished should not be exploring fetish content, and discussing it is basically as bad as forcing someone to watch porn.

Kankri’s mutation is something kept under close wraps, but it’s still known to some. Nothing escapes the watchful eye of Kurloz, and he himself admitted his own color to Porrim after snorting a line during a conversation that was more the oppression olympics. The wider part of his friend group assumes he is a rustblood with too much time.

It’s a common assumption that goldblooded trolls like duality. HIS favorite duo is him and your lusus. This is his world, a delicate balance between internet witticisms and hurling the most mindless and crass slew of insults at strangers who have ticked him off slightly.

Truthfully, the only thing that comes in twos with him is his online presence. He favors one website, but uses Shreddit and Un4Chan8 to get into flame wars… with himself. It stirs up controversy, and infamy is the name of the game. If some idiot falls for his ploy, best believe he’s doxxing them and sending them .zip bombs. That’s just how it is on this bitch of an Alternia!

It’s great practice for his future endeavors. Since his psiionic abilities are greater than most, he’s enlisted to become a helmstroll once he’s banished. Frankly, he’s psyched to do jack shit for the rest of his life. He’s serving Ws now to serve the empire later on.

Though crude and rude, he does enjoy the little things in life. Junk food, video games, anime girls, anime girl pillows, and his shrimps. He has a giant tank dedicated to nothing but a bunch of tiny shrimp which he cares for diligently. He may be a dickhead and a bit of a suck up to the empire, but he sticks to who he chooses to stand by. Namely his moirail, Kurloz, and his moirail’s moirail, Damara, and their online friend, Kankri.

Dirk / Dark’s system

As a system myself, writing characters with OSDD/DID is something I quite enjoy! For that reason, a lot of this will be under the cut.

Unfortunately, I must also warn about these topics:

Self Harm, Neglect, Abuse, Sexual Abuse, Child Exploitation, Addiction, Trauma, and other related events.

With that being said, this is the system.

The system consists of 10 (endgame 11) alters.

Dirk Strider is the host of the system, most adapted to day in and day out encounters with people. He is NOT named Dark. That name was chosen by his Bro, who refused to let him go by Dirk (since it was his own name). His gender and orientation are really the last thing on his mind. He’s just queer and could care less about pronouns (I use He/Him here because it is familiar, however, he is Any/All). Despite being acclimated for social events, he is still something of a recluse. He tends to void cursing. He hides behind a stoic mask, but is extremely insecure and relies on humor to bail him out of emotions. He is excessively read up on his friends interests. He thinks his Bro is pretty awesome. He self harms.

Lil Hal is a persecutor. This is not canon compliant to actual Lil Hal. In universe, he would be a brainmade alter. He uses He/They/It/01 pronouns. As an alter, he is focused upon self sabotage and frequently attempts to undermine any attempt at recovery made by the system. 01 self harms and engages in what it knows will put the system in a bad mental state, convinced it’ll do them good. He follows everything Bro says without a second thought. They have a smoking problem not seen in most alters.

Lil Cal is a system little. In universe, he would be an introject of the puppet. It uses It/He/Hee/Ho/Hoo/Ha/Haa pronouns. Due to Bro’s fondness of Cal, haa split to have a similar source of comfort. As the system is not allowed to touch the puppet, the system created its own. He is roughly 10 and is easily excitable. It often gets hooself in trouble, especially due to the fact hee is semi-verbal.

Squarewave is a mood booster. In universe, he would be a brainmade alter. They use He/They/It pronouns, though positively can’t be assed to care about the fact. It sees itself as a robot made by Bro, and speaks in a very clunky and dated manner because of this. He is very excitable, and a favorite of Bro’s because of their enthusiasm to help him. More often than not, it is tasked with helping to record puppet snuff or outright pornography- though never included in such. He is allowed to play Bro’s games.

Spades Slick is a prosecutor. In universe, he would be an introject of the webcomic’s character. He uses He/They/It pronouns, though he’d yell at you for asking. Slick is very loud and abrasive towards others, lashing out first as a method of self defense. You can’t be hurt if you don’t let them get close enough to hurt you. The only person he gets along with is Rosy. More often than not, they tend to get themself hurt by Bro by picking fights it can never win. They smoke and drink, though it’s only addicted to alcohol.

Die is an emotional part. In universe, it would be an introject of the webcomic’s character. They use They/It/06/He pronouns. Die is very skittish and quick to tears, oftentimes avoiding the computer in favor of indulging in various hobbies. 06 holds grudges like no other. If you insult what it likes, it won’t ever forgive you. They have a very high pain tolerance and like to stick needles into 06s arms. When distressed, he will claw at his arms.

Crowbar is a sexual protector, whether he wants to be or not. In universe, he would be an introject of the webcomic’s character. He uses He/It/07 pronouns. It’s a lot like Slick- abrasive and loud. The thing is that he often doesn’t pick fights with online friends, making 07s life hell when it gets too much energy and tries to fight Bro. 07 is inadvertently Bro’s favorite for his snarky attitude and his efforts to genuinely strife to hurt. It makes defeating 07 feel all the better, and he can take his reward however he pleases. Crowbar’s poison of choice is alcohol, though is partial to self harming.

Sn0wman is a caretaker. In universe, she would be an introject of the webcomic’s character. She uses She/Her pronouns exclusively. As a caretaker, she is able to front alongside others to console them or calm them down. In worse cases, she can take over the body completely. She is soft spoken and is rarely seen, preferring to spend her time offline. She is the only alter able to outwit Bro, and as such, he has not met her. In the doomed Calsprite timeline, she becomes the host and willingly sacrifices her timeline and life to uphold the main one. She smokes when she finds the time, which is very rarely.

Diamonds Droog is a protector. In universe, he would be an introject of the webcomic’s character. He has no real feelings about pronouns, but is known to use He/They/♦️. They are oftentimes very blunt and flat in ways of emotions and talking. He very rarely ever rears his head, and prefers to deal with friend group troubles rather than familial, due to Bro’s odd attitude towards ♦️ specifically. He won’t admit it, but he has a nicotine addiction.

Pickle Inspector is an Apparently Normal Part. In universe, he would be an introject of the webcomic’s character. He uses He/Him pronouns, but will never correct anyone. Pickle is very detached from the rest of the system and the outside world, and is usually unaware of surroundings. He has his own Pesterchum account that only he knows the password of- and inversely, he has no clue what Dirk’s passwords are. His typing mannerisms are very different from the rest of the system. Pickle has never actually met Bro- it seems the man avoids him.

Rainbow Dash will be a gatekeeper. In universe, she is an introject of the character. She uses any and all pronouns, just cause. He splits later on in the journey, likely after Bro’s death. Her goal is to lower dissociative barriers to let the other alters be aware of eachother, and to protect the system from hurting itself. She’s TOTALLY into Sn0wman, but you didn’t hear that from me.

Okay, so far we have trauma maiden Damara, weeaboo ninja freedom fighter Rufioh, genocidal maniac Aradia, and mute Sollux. Honestly, with things going the way they are, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tavros was just a severed head on a hover pad/life support system.

I'm not that evil! Vriska probably isn't either... I'll daydream up how he's doing just for you, I suppose...

Back on Beforus, Tavros was just like any other kid! He loved FLARPing and Fiduspawn. He dreamed of fairies and flying away. He was adventurous and bold. Until his accident, anyways.

Tavros, Aradia, and Vriska had been best of friends. Aradia was the most adventurous and found the abandoned windmill. Tavros was the bravest and decided it would be the perfect place to FLARP and spar the deadly Mindfang. Vriska was the most reckless and went too far into character, causing Tavros to fall from a gr8 hi8. He lost the ability to walk, and was taken in by a purpleblood who decided his legs should be amputated since he wouldn't use them again.

During his session, he was given prosthetics, and has "returned to his original glory", even if dead. The truth is that he fell into a great depression before Sgrub, and vowed to never let himself feel helpless again. Now he stands at Vriska's side and commandeers a ghost army. Vriska only does this because she's bored, but Tavros has a real drive to be fearless and dangerous. He often tries to push her to extremes and reminds her of his accident when she won't budge on things.

He wants everything to go back to how it was before he was disabled, but at the same time he refuses to let himself be vulnerable. He "lives" for a false past.

Wings are not something very common in troll society, The Summoner being the only historical figure to ever have them before being stamped out. Rufioh is unlucky to share such a mutation, and has to take to dwelling in forests, thick with trees so drones can’t see him fly. Those who know him are either on his side or under his wing- both literally and metaphorically.

In the Alternian forest lives Rufioh and his gang of weaboo miscreants. They’re firm rebels, and use anime as inspiration for the impossible and fantastical. He leads them on how to break the law without being busted. And for reference of someone more socialized, he turns to his neighbor for help! Latula is happy to lend legal advice and even her lusus for the bronze’s cause. They’re wigglerhood friends and often partake in sports and games together.

While Rufioh has tried to hit on her, Latula staunchly refuses, trying to be “one of the boys”. Whatever floats her boat, but he knows a doll when he sees one. Oh, yeah, and he’s matesprits with Damara. That isn’t here not there.

This is just a random thought, but I have this headcanon that Eridan speaks with an upperclass New England accent when he speaks to others and flaunts his status, but his real accent is more Bostonian and it slips out whenever he gets upset or he’s being serious. I also kinda imagine him being fairly low ranking compared to other violet bloods (who are all a bunch of social climbing assholes) and basically flaunts his friendship with Feferi as a status symbol (honestly I feel like I’ve seen this trope twice and have no idea what it’s called).

Oh HELL yes. I do love me a good english accent, AND a good british fish.
