Hi, anon!

Ahhhh this is going to open a can of worms. Another blogger and i have been looking into it since about september. Let's just say there are loads of interesting things out there to find if you know where to look. Put it together and make a timeline and you get an interesting picture. I'm not ready to talk about it because i'm not convinced on anything yet.

When you look at all the information we've gathered it looks like if they're together, they don't want it to be known. If information get out it might convince some that they're together when that might not be the case. The evidence is compelling, but not conclusive. If they're together and don't want it known, information becoming public knowledge might trigger further closeting or stunting. They're not Harry and Louis trying to show us they're in love and in a relationship. Since i'm not convinced myself, i'm not ready to answer this question. Sorry.

Also, i'm currently no fan of Austin so my heart is currently siding with the 50% of me thinking they're not together.

Naomi&Austin in Season 4 of 90210 came out of nowhere because of what we’ve known of Naomi in the previous seasons, especially Season 1. She hated the way her mother, Tracy Clark, was compliant with her father’s, Charles Clark, affair with his mistress, Gail. I wonder if those new writers that were filming Season 4 even cared to ask Rebecca Sinclair about Naomi’s character profile from the previous seasons. I honestly think that involving a new man to be a new romantic interest for Naomi at that point was really unnecessary because she was still all about Max at that point. So having her go against her character to cheat on the man who she was all about at that time with a cowboy was really bad writing. It’s not like she broke up with Austin later on in that season, and ended up crashing Max&Madison’s wedding.

Hi Marte! After your posts about Nick Galitzine, I researched his social media footprint and you may be right, he did have a certain vibe with Austin. Especially the tiktok where he's lying on the bed, waiting for Austin to finnish working and then they go to a restaurant together. I know he's affectionate with everyone and he touches people a lot but there was a special chemistry with Austin.

I don't know if you watched the rwrb panel but Nick got asked who is the better kisser, Taylor or Tony Curran (from Mary & George). And Nick replied that Tony has a very thick beard, which Nick isn't used to. But Taylor has stubble, which gave him chaffeage. I thought that was kind of funny because it seemed like he isn't used to thick beards but is used to stubble, which made me think about how Austin apparently also always has stubble. I may be overthinking it...

But whatever happened between them, I kind of doubt they're together anymore. They don't really seem that compatible. Maybe they never were official in the first place. I also found it noteworthy that Austin started dated Camila Cabello for a while and Nick made a movie with her. And now Nick is still friends with her and she treats him like her gay best friend. People seem to hate that for some reason.

Why are you speaking in past tense about them? Austin and Nick are still very much where they've always been with each other. Wherever that is. He was just at one of Nick's recent events. Austin also just commented very flirty (like usual) on one of Nick's post recently. They've both dialed back on the social media posting and interactions after Nick's straight push, but if you know where to look it's all still there. Question is if they're together or not. If you want more Naustin/Kevitzine (if forgot what ship name we landed on lol), i recommend Weibo.

I did see the rwrb panel! At least clips of it. TZP doesn’t even try to pretend to be straight with that comment lol. I wouldn't want to play gay chicken with him.

Nick was hanging out with both Austin and CC when A and CC were in a (fake) relationship. So they're all friends. CC is trying to ride the coattails of Nick a bit now that Nick is on everyone's lips. CDAN says CC wanted to fake it with Nick but he said no lol. People don't like CC for all the obvious reasons. It needs no explaining.

Since i'm no fan of Austin (he's a zion*st for a start), i really hope they're not together. But i can't ignore everything i know and everything i've seen, so...*shrug*

so i'm enjoying your distress at having to name prettymuch ships and i'd like to know WHAT YOU'VE COME UP WITH SO FAR! especially for austin/zion because like everything i can think of sounds dumb. except maybe zaustin? but that sounds like some new street slang for doing whip its or some bullshit. all the nick ships are also problematic, because what, you just add an n to the beginning?? nandon? nion? nedwin?? ew. also is brandon/edwin bredwin? because 😂😂

so currently I’ve been trying to find ones that look alright when spelled out and also sound okay when saying them in your head or outloud, because I think that’s an important aspect of a portmanteau. 

Brandon/Edwin: Brandwin -- also Bredwin like you said, bc that’s funny.

Brandon/Austin: Austdon

Brandon/Nick: Branick OR Nandon -- because you’re very right, Nick is the name that DOESN’T want to fit. I’m not a huge fan of ship names that start with an ‘n’ for some reason, so I think I’m using Branick. 

Brandon/Zion: Zrandon

Edwin/Austin: Austwin

Edwin/Nick: Edwick, Nedwin -- I like Edwick because it’s a FUN MOUTHWORD.

Edwin/Zion: Zedwin

Austin/Nick: Austnick, Naustin -- I like the former.

Austin/Zion: yes, Zaustin

Nick/Zion: Zick OR Nion -- I was thinking of copping the ‘n’ for this one bc Zick is kinda silly, but then I’m thinking like, usually with multishipping you try to consistently keep an element the same. so say, Teen Wolf, Scott ships are always Sc: Sc-iles, Sc-erek, Sc-ydia, etc. With 1D you know if there’s an ‘ou’ Louis is in there somewhere. So switching up here and using the ‘n’ and the ‘ion’ which aren’t elements in any of the other ship names feels EH. ‘Edwick’ breaks this pattern as well, I’m making the exception because FUN MOUTHWORD.

that’s what I’ve got thus far. my conclusion is that they have STUPID names to smash and I hate their parents for not using nicer vowel combinations.
