Acupuncture for my tight hips, lower back, and Piriformis syndrome.(A disorder in which the piriformis muscle in the buttocks irritates the sciatic nerve.) Acupuncture is a system of integrative medicine that involves pricking the skin or tissues with needles, used to alleviate pain and to treat various physical, mental, and emotional conditions. My hope is that we can loosen everything up and allow me to gain core strength and have reduced inflammation in my body. We couldn’t find the natural chemical free hair gel we use so I had to dust off the old homemade hair gel recipe. In todays blog the recipe is the basic recipe with no add ins you can add essential oils and anything your hair needs to stay healthy. It’s a good base to start with. We have a lot of different hair textures in the house mostly curly some straight and chemicals in the hair is just to damaging for us and very much so unwanted. #wellnesswednesday a few years ago I changed to a natural toilet roll esp because they are normally chlorine-bleached, laced in chemicals & pesticides - let alone the un-sustainability element not making them ecofriendly. Instrad I started to buy @thecheekypanda_uk from a local @oxfamgb charity shop. But once the recent lockdown happened & toilet rolls were in demand & the shop was closed - I looked online for my solution. Buying online straight from The Cheeky Panda company meant I could buy in bulk to save money. I opted for the biggest bundle as it made more financial sense. Rolls aren't individually wrapped so I simply kept the previous empty packet & will reuse it time again to keep filling it up from the big box I had delivered. Having my latest IV infusion today for chronic pain but it's an early 1 this morning😴 So I had to get some food to try help my blood pressure go up as it's always low, in mornings especially. A loved one suffers from gout, so I did some research about natural things to help. Along with drinking diluted apple cider vinegar which they already do, I read loads about Montmorency cherries being good for gout too. The best thing I’ve seen today is these eco-friendly, sustainable straw options at @arcolounge they are made out of corn starch which is a plant based material.
