I cannot believe I did not pick up on this before.

During the hourglass rescue, the notes that play right after Octavius runs up to the hourglass and right before Jed says "ain't gonna make it," are the same notes from Across the Stars aka Anakin and Padme's love theme from Star Wars. Maybe not identical but its pretty fricking close.

Happy New Years guys!

I hope you guys have an excellent end of a year and a start of one! I’m at my friend’s, Kasper, house playing Pictionary. I’m taking a break to look up movies to watch. I’m going to try to get them to watch either the Graduate or Chinatown, I love both!

This was super fun to animate, I tried to include everyone that was mentioned to me! I want to draw something similar to what I did during Halloween this year! If it’s hard to understand, Frosty (my character) throws a snowball at Jim (@all-yn-oween’s OC) and Passerine (another one of my OCs) who are building a snowman. The snowman is based off of the Minecraft ones, that’s why there’s a pumpkin. Passerine gets hit, which makes her mad and she storms off after Frosty. The film cuts to Jimmy(The Capone one) and Ralph chatting while Pass runs after Frost behind them. The film then moves over Al and Napoleon who are chatting to Ivan and @lidensword who are reading Warriors books. Jim comes in from the snow and pops up to flirt with Ivan who looks annoyed.

I’ll see you folks next year! I hope you guys have a good rest of your year if your like me and it’s 2022 in your time zone.

Reincarnation (Part 1)

(do not own the gif) MY FIRST EVER FANFIC. I was bored and I had a prompt in mind, plus I couldn't find any teddy x reader online so here goes nothing- Also, I can't write good prompts lmao, so just read the story. I don't own NATM characters ________________________________________________________ The time was 1901, it was September 20 A ball was held in the White House, inviting all the reporters, important political figures and celebrities. It was to celebrate Theodore Roosevelt being the new young president. Y/N, a young maiden, who was the server at the party, was star-struck seeing so many important and famous figures. She went around serving people drinks and appetizers and after an hour she gave that work to somebody else, to give her legs some rest. The ballroom was twice as big than the restaurant she worked for and her legs were giving away. She sat behind the bar counter as currently no one was coming there and she could get some rest without going inside the kitchen. She was thinking to herself random things but the man in front of the counter, with a small polite smile. The man was none other than THE President itself. Wide eyed, she immediately stood up. As he approached, she gave a small bow and stuttered a bit embarrassed, also blushing from embarrassment, "G-good a-afternoon, s-sire. W-which drink y-you may like t-to have?" She internally thought she was about to be fired for slacking instead of work. Theodore, understanding her situation, amused and said, "Well, I would like a Gin Rickey (its a cocktail)" She took out the stuff needed to make the cocktail and whilst making, she decided to strike up a conversation. That's how you ended up making friends with Theodore Roosevelt. You both would write to each other, meet up in secrecy and it didn't take long before your friendship turned to something else. Then the news also spread that you both were in a relationship. You just happened to not get a happy ending. Just before your wedding day, you got into an accident, which cost you your life. ♔♕ It's 2022, you woke up at 10:30 am. You wished you could see that same recurring sweet dream but can't because WORK. Your stupid work as the sweeper in the Museum of Natural History. Your work schedule was cleaning the museum at 5:00 am and for some reason, banana peels are lying around, liquid with bad smell (Dexter's pee lmao), some stuff moved from here to there. You found it weird. You would clean the museum right before the sunset and the night guard, Larry Daley seemed to be there a bit early. Honestly, she didn't mind as long as no one caught her staring at the statues (day dreaming). While cleaning stuff like desk, you would sometimes stare at the stature of Theodore and think to herself ,'Why is it always..you?'. You can understand that those dreams relate to him and your past but can't get over the fact you were re-incarnated and not him. One day at 2:00 am you woke up in a cold sweat, you saw yourself in vintage dress walking down the street with a couple of shopping bags. Then you heard a honking behind you but it was too late before the truck hit you and everything went blank. After that you jolted awake and couldn't sleep for the rest of the night (TO BE CONTINUED)

Don't worry, teddy got his drink lmao. I did proof-read this ff and it probably still sounds cringey asf, but eh, I'm not experienced. Requests are open!

I just woke up from a horrible nightmare of this account being hacked. Some notable highlights:

- They were definitely a real person/artist. They also liked Star Trek, but only made content of their Star Trek Muppet OCs.

- They changed my blog colors from green to bright red. They also changed my tagline to something longer, without capitalization (I can’t remember what) and replaced my icon and header.

- At first, they didn’t make their own posts but just edited all of mine to replace the content with their own. They also had commissions, so they just edited my pinned post. They changed many of my posts to link to YouTube videos of their main Star Trek Muppet OC, where they had actually created the thing and filmed it professionally. Can’t say they weren’t talented or dedicated.

- They had their OWN blog and “brand” and everything. Their name was Ugly. Their videos started with something like “Ugly Creations!”

- I didn’t lose access to this account, but was terrified that anything I posted would be immediately deleted by them anyway. They DMed me from their OWN blog to tell me how much they hated me and to “leave Data alone 😂”.

- Once they’d edited most of my posts to replace my content with their own, they also started making text posts. Everyone seemed to interact with them like they had no idea they weren’t me, which drove a stake through my heart. Simultaneously, they must have known people knew something was up, because they posted a text post pretending to be the actual me, gaining my account back, saying we had “worked it out! 🥰”

- Of course I looked for recourse for all of this, but the only solution Tumblr had was to make a new blog all together. I debated what I should change my URL to since they still had my old one. Mostly-Natm2 or Mostly-Natm 2.0 were the top contenders. I also had a stressful time trying to remember my blog description word for word.

- I’ve used emojis here to convey their tone, but actually they typed more like this: “leave Data alone —=+ [ | %.. ! = )” Again, though, they were definitely a real person.

Night At The Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian OC Ref. Sheet

This is Tigerfrost (Also known as Frosty), this Blog's main OC! I originally made her for Demise 4 back in 2021 off of a backpack I'd bought a couple of years earlier from a cool collector's shop. She was put in OC retirement while I focused on a Minecraft SMP I was on until she was pulled back out for this blog around July-ish 2022. My original ref is here, which I'm currently still using, but I do plan to change it soon because my style is outdated on it and a lot has changed in c!Tigerfrost's story.

I've been really inspired by @/all-yn-oween's and @/lidensword's NATM2 OC's, so this is my NATM version of Frosty! They are an exhibit on Children's and Young Teen's media in the Smithsonian. The Cats are promotional cardboard cut-outs for the books that came to life through the power of the Tablet.

For a while, I've wanted to write about an Anthro Warrior's AU, but I've had a lot of trouble writing and drawing about it. I've recently been really inspired by @nissabug-art's Anthro Warriors AU.

About the Warriors AU...

First, this takes place wayyy after the events of the books. I haven't read past the fourth series (Omen of the Stars) and the first few of the fifth series (A Vision of Shadows), so most of what happens after those books aren't really counted in the AU as canon. All of the book series are regarded as legends of the past, though, especially Firestar. Other things:

Almost all cats have powers like the PO3 protagonists; I added this because I thought it was fun

Instead of Code #13 (The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code) of the Warrior's Code, cats vote for decisions like they did in I believe The Dawn of the Clans and a non-canon story, The Clans Decide. Leaders act as representatives of the clan and make small decisions that don't need to be voted on.

Thunderclan is led by Littlestar (Previously Littleflower, Tigerfrost's adopted sibling, They/Them). Tigerfrost is the Deputy and their Medicine Cat (which are called Healers in the AU) is Tigerfrost's one of other siblings, Stoneheart(It/They/He). The three are extremely close and tell almost everything together. Tigerfrost's power is Yestersight, also known as Retrocognition, inspired by the 💫TIME MACHINE💫 MAP made in 2020.

Windclan is led by Sorrelstar (Previously Sorrelgaze, He/Him), their Deputy is Raindance (They/He) and their Healers are Foxsong (They/She) and Dusthop (He/She). Applebreeze (She/They, belongs to my school friend John) and Fawnpelt (They/Them, belongs to @swagbugger) belong to this clan and they are both Warriors. Fawnpelt can shapeshift into animals with wings or horns and Applebreeze has Botanokinesis.

Riverclan is led by Coonstar (Previously Coontail, He/It), the main antagonist of the story. He wants to fuse all the clans into one and become leader of them all; basically Tigerstar 2.0. I made him with some friends at summer camp years ago, and I have no creative ideas, so he will stay as Tigerstar 2.0 for now. The Deputy is Blind Lightning (He/Him). Poppypool (They/She) is the Healer Riverclan and has Empathy.

Shadowclan is led by Foxstar (Previously Foxshadow, They/Them), their Deputy is Craneclaw (They/He), and their Healer is Rebar (He/Him). Craneclaw is romantically involved with Rebar, even though it's against the Warrior code. Craneclaw has no superpowers.

Skyclan is led by Spottedstar (Previously Spottedsky, He/They), their Deputy is Mellow Petal (She/Her), and their Healer is Streampuddle (Any/All).

Favorite bits…

I love the pull down forest background. It’s inspired by the kids corner in Barnes & Noble's. I imagine that people could pull down different scenes from the book as background when reading. It’s also inspired by four trees.

I also really like the mini book covers. They are covered up mostly, but I love how small they are. They show all five main characters plus the main bad guy.

YAPPER WARNING

Are there any fics abt Jed being "eternally grateful" to Octavius?? I have a headcanon where Jed broke his femur in the car crash in the first movie and Octavius carried him bridal style back to the museum, saving his life despite being sworn enemies for half a century. And. Would Jed not pull the eternally grateful trope?? By that I mean he dedicates his life to repaying Octavius in little ways or like insisting he be his servant for a while before Octavius gets so annoyed with it and concerned for his mental state that he forbids him to act like that (I think there was a Phineas and Ferb episode like this??? And i think im basing this off of that subconsciously??????). Would him being Eternally Grateful not play a part in him making sure Octavius didn't get captured by Al Capone's goons in natm2??? And if this didn't start in natm1 then no way it doesn't after natm2, come ON.

I want to read a silly story where the climax is Jed trying to get Octavius to use him as a fucking door mat or something, and it's been like a week of Jed doing dumb shit like this and Oct is so DONE and picks him up off the floor and is like shaking him like "WHERE IS THE MAN I FPUGHT FOR FIFTY YEARS??? DO NOT ACT THIS PATHETIC, I KNOW YOURE NOT TBIS PATHETIC PLEASE!!!!" And then Jed snaps back to normal like nothing happened

How do you think Al would react to his s/o understanding his slang and/or understanding him talking to his boys in Italian? (Because I assume he spoke Italian for obvious reasons) I feel like the boys would be like “boSS YA GIRL CAN UNDERSTAND US, Y/N HOW??”

Oh lord. On the slang thing, I’m pretty sure with most of it, any modern English speakers could figure it out from context and general knowledge, but since they hang out with mostly (Medieval) Russians, (Ancient) Egyptians and (Napoleonic era) Frenchmen, I could understand why they’re surprised XD
