Hey so apparently the Trump administration is trying to include Natives in his unconstitutional birthright citizenship end order. They haven't been non citizens since 1924. He trying to fucking reverse the Snyder Act.
A lot, if not all, of his plans impact natives in some way. Remember to keep advocating for native rights.

to any americans who feel "paralyzed" and "dont know what to do" to help with gaza:
reading a fucking book. i beg of you.
in a time of knowledge suppression is it your duty to arm yourself with knowledge.
read about americas occupations in the middle east.
read about 9/11 from outside of america and see how they inflicted senseless harm and violence to countless amounts of people and have been suppressing your rights for the past 2 fucking decades.
read about any of the countless wars from the past 30 years. especially from a civilian's. and the victims and survivors' perspective. listen to the horror stories and do not plug your fucking ears as to what your country is doing.
and read about fucking gaza and palestine and keep up with what is happening no matter how "sad" or "uncountable" you might get.
dont look away from this.
you dont have the right to be comfortable during countless active genocides.
if you're knowledgeable, you're powerful, and our current state doesnt fucking want that.
you have the power to change things if you open your eyes and scream to the world.
wake the fuck up.

Suddenly half-human
Danny was a full ghost hanging out in a random spot in the Zone when suddenly a rift in space tore open on top of him.
His very essence shifted as strange energies poured into him from a previously-unfathomable direction.
No longer pure ectoplasm. Something new, something living in a deeply foreign way.
A force suddenly pulled him to collide with cold, solid ground.
He felt different.
His whole body felt weighed down as if encased in thick rubber, preventing him from shapeshifting or even just floating up. Something thudded to life inside his chest, pumping a new fluid throughout his insides.
As he continued to lay there in shock, his chest began to burn.
Instincts he didn’t fully understood kicked in and his mouth flung open, gasping for breath. The burning subsided as his chest continued to heave.
What the hell? Since when did he need to breathe?
He heard three young, panicked voices from across the room. He flopped his head in their direction and took in their appearances semi-deliriously, still trying to pull his thoughts back together.
They were humans. Living, breathing humans. A tall redheaded girl, a boy in a beanie and glasses, and a girl in what he believed was referred to as “goth” clothes.
Wait… was he human now?
Awkwardly clambering to his feet, leaning against the wall of the strange tunnel for balance, he tried to give them a grin. It probably came out a bit more unhinged than he intended.
“So, uh, any idea what just happened?”

It's important to recognise that what's happening in Palestine, what we are witnessing and what people are experiencing, are not isolated to Palestine.
You may hear people talk about the war in Sudan, the silent holocaust in Congo.
It's because these and so many more atrocities in the world are linked. They are preperuated by the same systems.

So as a Palestinian when I say Free Palestine, I am not just talking about Palestine. I started nursing school in 2015 at Saint Louis, just a few miles away from where Michael Brown was killed by police.
Being in that city at that time, watching Black Lives Matter being born, stirred up a lot of feelings for me as a Palestinian.
I saw a country justifying a child being murdered by the state, in the street. I saw the people protesting that murder being vilified.
Standing there, protesting, watching a militarised police force with tear gas and rubber bullets matching towards me.
And I thought, this is that.
As a Palestinian to understand what is going on in Palestine is to understand the de facto aphartied that black Americans experience here in the states.
It's not an accident that when my grandfather came here, he was told to sit and the back of the bus. And it's not an accident that he marched with MLK.
It has been black and Palestinian solidarity, and it continues to be black and Palestinian solidarity.
Because yes, Free Palestine is about Palestine ceasefire now and the military occupation of the Palestinian people. It's also about resisting the global colonial hegemonic structure.
Because the shit happening there is happening here. If it isn't Palestinian women and babies being killed by bombs in Gaza, it's black women and babies being killed in American hospitals.
If its not Palestinian girls missing in the rubble. It is missing and murdered indigenous women here in the United States.
The rage I feel when I hear the names Michael Brown and Treyvon Martin is the same rage I feel when I hear the names Shireen Abu Akleh and Ahmad Manasra.
That's not to say that allyship is transactional, it is to say that the only thing we have is each other.
There's a reason that when people ask me about Free Palestine, I will point them to books on Black Lives matter.
When I say Free Palestine, yes I mean Free Palestine but I also mean Black Lives Matter, I also mean abolition now. I also mean reparations, I also mean land back.
This movement cannot lose steam, not just because there is currently a genocide being perpetuated against my people. And every minute we don't do something Palestinian lives are being lost.
But because this is a global struggle for justice. It does not start and end with Palestine, we will not be free until all of us are free.
The world is waking up, there has never been global solidarity for Palestine like this.
And we have them so scared. The violence is so disproportional because we are challenging a global power structure. Don't let the momentum die because this is about all of us.
Ceasefire now.
End the occupation.
But know what I mean when I say, Free Palestine.

Leonard Peltier, an Indigenous activist imprisoned for the 1975 killings of two FBI agents, faces a parole hearing, potentially his last chance for freedom.
Peltier, now 79, faces failing health, with his attorney warning that a denied parole request could delay another chance for freedom for a decade.
Despite claims of falsified evidence and staunchly maintaining his innocence since his 1977 conviction, Peltier has faced rejection for parole and clemency in the past.

The Trump administration has declared war—on immigrants, on the LGBTQIA+ community, on women, on people of color, on the very Native Americans whose land we stand upon. He has insulted and provoked nations across the world, shown utter disdain for diplomacy, and made clear his intent to gut Alaska’s natural resources for profit. He promised to “make America great again,” but instead, he has spread terror among its people, turned us into the pariah of the world, and fashioned himself into a near-religious idol.
He has ignored cries for mercy. He has targeted the vulnerable, the innocent, and the marginalized. He has sown hatred, pitted neighbor against neighbor, and shifted blame onto those he deems lesser. Sound familiar?
Tyranny thrives on silence. It feeds on the fear of those who know injustice is happening but do nothing. I, for one, refuse to cower. I refuse to surrender my voice, my rights, or my country to the grip of authoritarian rule. I will stand with my siblings—of every gender, every race, every creed—who call this nation home. We will not be bullied into submission. We will not stand by as history repeats itself.
The average age of an empire is 250 years. America was founded in 1776, and the cracks are showing. The men who once fought to break free from tyranny left us with a declaration—a reminder, a warning, and a promise:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness… That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.”
These words were not meant to be relics of the past. They were meant to be a blueprint for action. The world has grown. Humanity has changed. Our understandings of what it means to be free has broadened.
We are not the first generation to witness the rise of oppression, but we have the power to be the generation that stops it. The time for complacency is over. The time for excuses is done. The time for a new Declaration of Independence—from fear, from corruption, from tyranny—is now. If America was ever truly the land of the free and the home of the brave, then let us prove it—not with empty words or blind patriotism, but with action, with defiance, with an unrelenting demand for justice. Stand with me. Stand with those who have been silenced, trampled, and cast aside. Stand against the forces that would see us divided, afraid, and obedient. The foundation of this country was laid by those who dared to believe in freedom—real freedom. I believe in freedom for all. That promise has been broken time and again, but we do not have to accept its ruin. We can fight for it. We must fight for it. And we will.
This is our rallying cry.

Thinking about xenobio Clark dick but in a sad way. Like obviously he'd never be able to have sex without them knowing about him being Superman, unless he did it with his pants on but like. Going unreciprocated for a long time would suck anyway. But anyway, I was rereading some great superbat xenobio fics and at least a couple have Bruce mentioning that like. Alien dick (especially tentacles) are a huge fantasy for a lot of people. And that got me thinking about Clark, lonely in his young adulthood, looking into all kinds of fantasy porn and it being soothing and heartbreaking in the same breath. Because it is sort of nice, to have this part of him be desired both in spite of and because of its weirdness, but also knowing none of it comes from a place of real understanding. Cuz knowing that people desire something is not the same as knowing they would accept you, as an alien and a Person.
