A mixture of some deleted lines from the GoldenEye script (proof under the cut) and @prismatic-bell's madness brilliance 👀

sporting event food (Natalya Simonova/Anna)
I’m writing f/f double drabbles for the food prompt table! (I will post them on ao3 when they’re all done). Anna is Natalya’s coworker at Severnaya and I’ve decided they’re girlfriends. This was the easiest one of these to write so far, lots of fluffy dialogue, my favorite.
"Natalya, I got sunflower seeds!" Anna exclaims, bursting through the doorway, snow flurrying behind her. "Anna!" Natalya's face lights up as she runs to hug her and grab the seeds. "This is perfect, we can catch some football on tv and pretend we're in the stands." "As if this will be anything like that, I don't think there are even enough people in Severnaya to play a game of football, let alone fill the stands." Nevertheless she flicks on the tv as she flicks off her coat. "All the better, because that means I can do this!" Natalya tackles Anna onto the couch with a smothering kiss. Anna giggles, adjusting the tv through Natalya's cuddles. The signal persists in being fuzzy as usual in Severnaya. "This is just like when there's a tall man in front of you in the stands." Natalya says, ripping open the sunflower seeds. "Wait I can see, they're passing . . . oh he shoots and . . ." The tv flickers as the ball soars through the air, going black as the goalie lunges towards it. "He scores!" Natalya yells, throwing her arms up and flinging sunflower seeds everywhere. Seeing Anna's incredulous look she adds. "I can just feel it."

“How can you act like this? How can you be so cold?”
“It’s what keeps me alive.”
“No, it’s what keeps you alone.”

GoldenEye (1995), the 17th film in the James Bond franchise, marked a significant turning point in the series, introducing Pierce Brosnan as the iconic British spy. After a six-year hiatus following Licence to Kill (1989), GoldenEye revitalized the franchise for a new generation, becoming one of the most successful Bond films of the 1990s. Brosnan’s portrayal of Bond was more suave and modern, fitting perfectly with the action-packed and tech-savvy era of the 1990s. The film's action sequences, along with its captivating villains and memorable Bond girls, contributed to the revitalization of the series, making it both a commercial and critical success. The marketing surrounding GoldenEye featured a mix of glamour and excitement, evident in this promotional photo featuring key cast members alongside one of the film's signature vehicles, the Aston Martin.
The Aston Martin, a staple of the James Bond series since Goldfinger (1964), made its return in GoldenEye, becoming synonymous with the luxury, speed, and sophistication associated with the spy. Bond's relationship with the car has become one of the franchise’s most enduring trademarks, with the sleek Aston Martin DB5 in particular symbolizing his suave and meticulous nature. In GoldenEye, Bond drives the Aston Martin DB5 once again, though the car is also equipped with the latest gadgets, a nod to the film's contemporary setting and technological advancements. The presence of the Aston Martin in promotional shots like this one reinforced the connection between Bond’s character and the opulence of his world, making it an integral part of the film’s allure.
The photo of Desmond Llewelyn, Famke Janssen, Pierce Brosnan, and Izabella Scorupco sitting on the Aston Martin captures the glamour and charm of the GoldenEye cast, each representing a key element of the film. Llewelyn’s portrayal of the ever-reliable Q, providing Bond with gadgets, was beloved by fans and continued in the franchise for several films. Famke Janssen, as the lethal Xenia Onatopp, brought an unforgettable intensity to her role as one of the film’s most memorable villains. Izabella Scorupco’s portrayal of the Bond girl Natalya Simonova added a layer of intelligence and emotional depth, standing out as one of the stronger female leads in the series. Together, this ensemble cast contributed to GoldenEye’s success, and the film remains a key installment in the James Bond legacy.
