You have eremika ship children or nah?
👀👀 YES
Let's get right to it!
Jiyu Yeager- The older daughter of the two eremika girls. She is stoic and serious like her mother, but has her daddy's brown hair and green eyes. Basically just imagine, Mikasa with brown hair and green eyes. And in case you all are wondering, Jiyu in Japanese is Freedom.
Carla Yeager- She has her father's brash personality, and is slightly idiotic, also like Eren. The younger sister of Jiyu, and an extreme daddy's girl. She has Mikasa's black hair and grey eyes. She resembles Carla (Eren's mom), hence her name. She is 3 years younger than Jiyu.

How was the Nas of cars :0
honestly?? SO MUCH FUN. it started at half past one in the morning for me which just added to the sheer insanity of watching these cars endure SO MUCH DAMAGE. and still be driveable?? IMPRESSIVE AF. i do feel so bad for these poor cars tho. they're so pretty before the race and then they have to endure unspeakable things 😔💔
now. the race started and we hit our first caution ON THE FIRST LAP?? cars were getting pitted whilst facing the wrong direction?? someone intentionally moved to the back of the pack IN THE FORMATION LAP?? and. as always in nascar it feels like. a LOT of duct tape was used. and then just as i thought the race was ending at like. half past three in the morning. WE HIT OVERTIME?? there's overtime?? huh??
i love this series so much 😭
fun fact. i fell asleep during the overtime and i've been SO busy today so i still have no idea how the race ended 😭💀

Good news for Ryan Blaney today!
Yeah! 12th career win!
I don’t watch the races but I do semi-keep up.
I can’t believe I’m getting nascar asks. Like you don’t have to stop, anon, if you see this, it’s just not where I thought my Pixar cars hyperfixation would lead me lol.
Very happy for Ryan Blaney though

Oops, missed a close parenthesis in my last ask.)
F1!George Russell is a queer mood tbh (honestly my dad is a ftm mood but he's cis)
I'm into nascar! And before you make fun of turning left, I think you should watch a few races before doing so. It's different to F1 by a lot, for both watching and driving (much less g-force but much hotter cars (it's regularly 50C and above for 3-5 hours) and much smaller margins for error — inches from another car or the wall for hours at a time. And pit road dynamics are vastly different and very fun to watch. And for watching, when we're on ovals you can see a majority of the field at once, so you're never missing much unless your driver is always in the very back. Top 20 usually shows, and 20-30 are regularly visible at least in glimpses.
It also means that anyplace on the track for most races you have a good view irl)
I recommend a few races bc it is confusing at first, you can't really judge the quality of something without understanding it. Daytona, Pocono, and Talledega are staples, bc they have the most wrecks (we haven't had anyone die in the main series btw since 2001 (maybe 2000?) — I don't remember the other series. But nascar safety is robust and always evolving).
I really enjoy it xD unfortunately it's almost all cishet white xian men, but nascar is actively working to change that. We currently have a Black guy and an Asian guy fulltime in the main series. There's a lot more diversity coming up through the lower ranks though.
There's only one out lgb driver though, and he's struggled to get a ride. And it's frankly unsafe for anyone to be openly non-xian so I don't imagine we'll see *that* anytime soon (there's a *ton* of driver/fan interaction)
Okay i'm done talking done now 😂
Ok I'm taking notes THANK YOU FOR THIS NASCAR PROPAGANDA ANON. Genuinely I had no idea that there was an out driver (I can't imagine that happening in F1 in the foreseeable future) and racing every weekend at those temperatures sounds insane
to anyone reading this who's not into motorsports and just had to read "nobody has died in the main series since 2001" as a positive... yeah :/
#watch me check out nascar bc of anon before i check out indy. sorry indy mutuals#ask#anonymous#sports#george russell dad anon

I feel like Eddie would start off at the Indy 500 and part of that scene before heading into Nascar or Formula 1. Invited Wayne to his first big race and Wayne goes thinking Eddie is in the pit (because Eddie does mechanic work well did before he got a name in racing). Wayne doesn't pay much attention to them fancy car races, he likes football. But of course he's gonna go and support his boy. Imagine his surprise when he sees Eddie's name on the big screen.
As soon as Eddie wins the race he gives him a hug but threatens him to never hide a secret like this again (he wouldn't want to find out Eddie got in an accident and had 0 clue about what Eddie was doing). Eddie jokes it wasn't a secret but agrees. Wayne is gifted a mug from every place Eddie races if Wayne can't go. Eddie gets Wayne to be part of his crew 😭
I love this so much!!! Eddie doesn’t ever wanna worry Wayne about anything. His pa has been through too much so keeping driving a secret from him is what’s best for now.
When they’d go out together he’d get stopped randomly and fans would want a pic with the Eddie ‘Munster’ Munson and Wayne is like ?? You’re a mechanic at midas 😭
Then he has to tell him and Wayne is so nervous because Eddie’s dad got caught up in street racing and that’s how he ended up in prison. But Wayne supports his son so he goes and he’s adamant about keeping Eddie on the straight and narrow. No funny business!
I actually wrote like one line for nascar!eddie I’m determined to actually finish something 😭
If we all start watching nascar because of this I’m gonna be so shook!!!

Idk maybe i'm late to the discussion but from what i heard from people around me, people are mad at cheerleaders being there because (and this is not me hating on it i know it's an american thing) f1 is being americanized and that that is not necessarily a good thing for the sport (i'm not talking about the money thing, but about the fact that the focus should be on the racing and everything else is unnecessary? Like ive had (older generation) people tell me that even this whole music act thing (and the circus) is unnecessary? Like it's not a festival, it's not supposed to be coachella, people tune in for the race and the drivers)
not to worry the discussion was just me commentating into the void !!
but yes, that does seem like part of it. mainly i was seeing people upset by the sexism of it all (& “stepping backwards” after finally getting rid of grid girls and trying to boost f1 academy) which is what my original commentary was about. personally i don’t see cheerleaders as the pinnacle of misogyny (likely because i am used of american sports), which is why i have always been a bit confused about the outrage that got grid girls banned. same thing in my mind… though i guess, culturally, grid girls may have been treated differently than cheerleaders based exactly on that distinction. idk.
anyway: the “americanization” of f1 does seem to be a giant point of contention. i agree watching the podium placers walk out between the cheerleader lines was slightly hysterical because they looked so confused and it was just… excessive. i liked the pre-race show appearance, would have been happy to see them still doing some cheering near the podium, but the walk-out style a la miami being replicated here was A Bit Much.
i just don’t know how much this can really be blamed on american fans per se and how much it needs to be taken up with liberty media/f1… they seem to be driving the “entertainment” push & the american gps are giving them what they asked for and being actively encouraged (i believe) to go all out and “american” with it. in theory it’s kind of a genius PR move by f1/liberty because it means they can get the circus they want and tap into american viewership while simultaneously shifting the blame onto american fans/gps when/if things go over poorly abroad.
all that to say is i’m interested to see how this shakes out with next year’s calendar and the potential waning of american interest if the “mainstream” fans push to reduce american involvement. like, is liberty still going to try to push gp hosts to amp up the craziness anyway? will they abandon the project and just pass it off as a failed american experiment? are we going to see it backfire for f1 and see a migration from all the new american fans being pushed to indycar and nascar instead, since those are already “ours” (quote unquote) and more receptive to new viewership? inquiring minds (me) want to know
#i think Austin has always been a bit of a show#i mean… it’s Texas#and I remember Tswift performing there once?? or something#it’s the addition of Miami and Vegas also being a show that I think is pushing it over the line for people methinks#idk i think liberty is absolutely instigating and driving the chaos to a degree intentionally#adding to my assessment of Indy/nascar: i think WEC as well#mostly based on the commentators of le mans this year#they were very excited of the new attention they were getting because of tge F1 Wave™#there was a very sweet little welcome spiel about halfway through to new fans and old fans and american fans#it was cute#so I could see other categories being less…. stuffy than f1 and benefitting from f1s initial draw#and then subsequent loss#hmmm#sorry anon you picked the wrong inbox if you didn’t want deranged rambling 😭😭#paddock politics#?????#idk that seems as good a tag as any#f1#*delphi

i want to send you another “challenge: outline a [fandom] fic based only on what you know from osmosis” prompt but unfortunately i am very sick right now and the only thing coming into my head is for some reason nascar rpf 😭😭
Anon I love you & I hope you feel better soon!
I have unfortunately absorbed very little nascar apart from knowing that my friend is into it and while I was trying to think of a fic outline my brain kept only giving me formula 1 stuff bc I have absorbed a little more f1 by osmosis than I have nascar
I'm literally reading a "what's the difference btwn nascar & f1" article right now so this is fascinating thank you for inspiring me to do this
<insert hold music>
Ok I'm back!
So bearing in mind that I have acquired zero blorbos in this fandom here's what I've got: rivals to lovers of drivers from different teams in 5+1 style following their races across the season. Idk maybe... 5 times A's car slammed B's into the track wall (because I have learned that touches are allowed in nascar) & 1 time B slammed A against a hotel wall? That feels like something that might be a satisfying read.

hi may i’m a delusional nascar/f1 fan and just wanna drop a few paragraphs in your inbox: 😊
first off, it’s really interesting the different mindsets among racing fans when it comes to back-to-back races. in nascar this is basically the norm and instead of saying double or triple headers, we literally call the weeks without nascar “off weeks”. there is quite literally a nascar race almost every weekend (including some months where every sunday is filled by a nascar race) and not having a race one week causes fans to be “bored” because there isn’t an event.
it also makes me laugh when y’all talk about how hard double and triple headers are on the crew (and drivers, but mostly the crew) considering they have to transport a whole race paddock to the new place in like three days. but in nascar, teams’ haulers/trucks go from wherever the race was, back to charlotte north carolina (where basically all the teams are HQ’ed), and then to wherever the new race is. i do think the “west coast swing” (basically three races in a row on the west coast) is the only exception, although i could be wrong. so a hauler could go from alabama to charlotte, load up on all the stuff for the new race weekend, and then go onto delaware in the span of sunday after the race to thursday. (possibly wednesday but i’m not sure) although, i do understand that sometimes double headers in f1 aren’t super close together and cover a lot more area. it’s just interesting to me in the context of thinking about the crew member’s well-being. (and also the f1 likes to make schedules weird due to contracts with circuits)
it’s just interesting to me considering i was a nascar fan before i was an f1 fan, so races back to back are kinda the norm for me. (rip me) so to now be in an environment where people frown upon back to back races is kinda similar to culture shock for me. (where something is completely different to how i’m used to it being)
but yeah, there’s some differences in scheduling/mindsets among f1/nascar fans but it’s all in good fun! just wanted to put some of these observations in your inbox ☺️
Always love the input of a different point of view :)
I think one of the factors that is different from F1 to Nascar is the fact that the same crew is flying around the world 🌍 to different timezones with very little rest.
The first double header we have this year is Azerbaijan to Miami. So you have crews flying from the homebase (let's say UK), to Azerbaijan, to then back to the [homebase] to review what went right/wrong with the past race, to then hopping on transatlantic flight, to then race again. Rinse and repeat etc.
I don't know about you but I am an absolute write off whenever I fly - I'm quite literally a zombie lmao. Plus add the different timezones 💀 I'm sure there are crew members that feel the same as well. (When I refer to crew, I'm talking about mechanics/engineers etc.).
The flyaways for the Americas have them back-to-back for three weekends in the US / Mexico / Brazil. Which means that's also an entire crew that is away from families (and home in general) a month, and you're basically on the clock the entire time you're away (sure they're "off" Mon-Wed but have you ever traveled with coworkers? You're never really off lol). Add the fact that your cargo plane may be late, so you're working until 2 am to set up the team's garage and then you're back the morning after at 7. Rinse and repeat for three/ four days straight.
On a personal level, I think the hustle and bustle of the paddock is different between F1 and NASCAR, which also mentally affects crews. NASCAR has a bit of a more relaxed element to it (I'd say IndyCar is similar in a sense as well), whereas F1 is more "stiff".
Anyways, this is not me say NASCAR is easy and F1 is difficult - they're both challenging motorsports in their own unique ways ☺️ which also means it challenges the teams and crews in different ways.

New nascar fan here why do you tag Blaney posts with yrb?
great question!! one of his nicknames is young ryan blaney and frankly i think it works so well that i abbreviate it as yrb for his tag. i try to keep tags different and as much as its totally cool to just use ‘blaney’ as his tag, i like him too much to not give him a fun tag <3
#thank you so much for the tag! not a lot of people call him that anymore n i think it’s neat#anon#answered#nascar#yrb

(re:nascar twitter) okay i genuinely need context for that last tweet did i miss something? 😭
Richard Childress is just a huge MAGA trumpie. probably the most vocal out of the rest of nascar, from what I've seen
Examples include: RC speaking at trump's charlotte rally a few weeks ago, RC saying he'd fire anyone who kneeled during the national anthem, RC endorsing trump every election, RCR making Tyler Reddick take down his tweet in defense of Bubba Wallace when trump attacked him on twitter, RC always welcoming trump when he comes to races, etc.
I don't think anyone's trying to claim he was actually at the capitol for the insurrection, just that he was probably not 100% opposed to it, to say the least.
#nascar#sorry it took so long for me to respond anon!#I have not done anything productive in days lmfao eek#richard childress#so yeah kyle busch could come out and say he's voting for kamala harris and I still wouldn't buy his merch cause he's with rcr#not touching rcr with a fifty foot pool yknow
