Hi! Hope you're well, I wanted to ask what would be okay to request if the requests are open?

I am a multi-fandom/ship blog and I love OC’s so yes <3 requests welcome.

Requests are (generally) always open to followers. If it is extremely funny then it’s no holds bar. For requests, I will draw sketches/line art. Of course commissions are open and tips appreciated. Requests are done at my leisure so they’re not always done in a timely manner and I can refuse for whatever reason I like ;p

Best fandoms for me are Naruto, The Witcher*, MP100, House, Dragon Age, Black Clover, and Stargate to name a few.

*(If it is a Witcher request and I think you are Marina then I will ignore it or dunk on you)

While it wasn't our intention, we can certainly see how some of Sicktember's sick prompts could be read as injury prompts.

It's worth considering that Injuries can definitely make you feel sick.

Achy pains, chills, nausea, and fatigue are common with injury...

Then there are potential side effects from the pain medication to consider. Those can make you feel awful...

And there is always a chance of the injury becoming infected, leading to more icky sick feelings; especially a fever...

If you're feeling extra mean, having your character become injured while sick could be quite the adventure... 😂

But, to answer your question, yes! Injuries count.

Area 51 Raid

In 2019 a satirical event was organized via FaceBook. The objective was to infiltrate the titular top security American facility, Area 51. The event would involve a flash mob of people running into the facility under the logic that not all of them could be stopped if there were enough of them. The sentence "they can't stop all of us" became popular in relation to this event; as well as the Naruto run meme, regarding how the facility should be infiltrated according to some. The ultimate goal was to find alien life within Area 51 and prove the long-standing conspiracy theory that alien life is housed in there.

Approximately two million people marked the event as being interested in it or intending to attend, leading to mass media coverage taking the Area 51 raid seriously. This notoriety and the gravity with which the shitpost was taken elevated it to a famous meme. In the end, only 150 people attended the meetup and none entered Area 51. Two music festivals were held on the date in Nevada, though, with a much larger attendance.

This prompt is open to being taken as seriously as news outlets did, or as comedically as the shitpost was intended to be. The death in this prompt happens in relation to the Area 51 raid. Everything else is up to the author.

Got another whump prompt for you inspired by my IRL miseries, but: sunburns. (TW for sunburns, I guess? Throwing it under the cut anyways)

Sunburns are, essentially, a minor radiation burn. And when they’re severe, they cause issues

And I’m not just talking ‘oh I got skin cancer ten years later issues,’ there’s this handy dandy thing called ‘sun poisoning.’

Different from heat stroke or heat exhaustion, sun poisoning is essentially minor radiation poisoning. This is usually seen in people with second or third degree sunburns.

Symptoms of sun poisoning include: fever, nausea, vomiting, severe inflammation, dehydration, severe cramping and joint pain, and itching.

In my experience, the itching is the worst. 10/10, pain but not really, even the lightest breeze can set it off and you’re screaming for it to stop. Also, lidocaine and other topical painkillers rarely help with the itch, even if they bring down the inflammation.

You seriously want to tear your skin off. It’s utter torture, and that’s coming from someone with chronic pain conditions that send most people running for the hills. In the two times I’ve had burns this bad, I had to be sedated several times because it itched so bad I couldn’t stop screaming.

And the inflammation. If you were burned on your back (like I was) raising your arms above the shoulder was a challenge, as was opening them all the way to the sides. If you get burned on your legs, you can’t even stand straight without pulling on the inflammation.

Now, couple that with the infernal itching, the chills and nausea and the hypersensitivity of fever? Of the skin coming off your back/thighs/arms in sheets? Of it cracking open again and blistering and being so, so painful to move for weeks after? Good for tormenting a pale whumpee.

And how long it takes to set in is another thing. I’m very very pale, but for context: an hour in hawaiian sun gave me second degree burns. Thirty minutes at my home altitude of 5000 feet gave me severe burns. It does not take long at all. A whumpee restrained outside on a particularly sunny day? Maybe with their hands tied above their head and left there to wither for a day before being brought back inside crispy and dehydrated? Beautiful.

And for those of you who love scar whump: sunburns scar. And more than just a tan or freckles, I mean scar-scar. Everywhere it blisters, everywhere it peals and cracks open? Scars. In my case, it blends with the freckles in a white and dark pattern of blotches, but more than that the scars get phantom itches and pains. Sensation is dulled and they grow tight like other burn scars. Whumpee’s body will carry those burns for a good few years, if not for life.

And if you’re holding onto a whumpee that long, cancer is gonna crop up somewhere. These are radiation burns, after all.

(Bonus: for those of you like me who burn really easy, or want to inflict some nasty melanoma on a whumpee, remember the ABCDEs of skin cancer: Asymmetric shape, Border is irregular, Color is weird, Diameter is unusually large, and it’s Evolving and changing, it’s probably cancer.)

Anyways. I keep seeing the lily white anime pretty boy in so much media and not enough sunburn whump. If you’re going to make them that pale they must suffer the curse of the sun like all the rest of us sad fucks, in my honest opinion. Give them boys some burns!

“I warned you guys!” It was a rare occurrence that Sakura would scold Sasuke with Naruto. The pink-haired girl wanted to be seen in the best light possible by her crush, but this time…this time she was furious with the both of them. “Why would either of you think this was a good idea?!”

“Ehehehe, c’mon Sakura it’s not too ba-AH!” Naruto’s awkward chuckling was cut off by a yelp. “Kakashi-sensei what the fuck?!”

“Language, Naruto.” Kakashi chided, wrapping the cold compress closer to his student’s fresh burn. “I’d have to agree with Sakura here, I just can’t understand why either of you thought it’d be a good idea to try roasting marshmallows with the fireball technique.”

“Would’ve worked if that dumbass actually put the marshmallows on the sticks right.” Sasuke grumbled.

“It would’ve worked if someone hadn’t decided to activate it on the firewood before I finished the countd-OW!”

“You’re both stupid! How did you manage to catch Naruto’s hand on fire making s’mores?!”

“His hand was in the way of the wood.”

“You were supposed to wait to light it!”

“Well I’m sorry, I thought it would be faster to light the wood first!”

“Now now,” Kakashi cut off the bickering between the two rivals. “Once we get Naruto’s hand properly taken care of, why don’t we try making s’mores again. This time without lighting anyone’s hands aflame?”

The group went silent for a few moments, before finally agreeing to their sensei’s suggestion. By the time they got to the hospital, the burn on Naruto’s hand had mostly healed. Not wanting Sakura and Sasuke to be suspicious of their teammate’s recovery speed, Kakashi still had the medics prescribe Naruto some burn ointment to use ‘until the burn was completely gone’.

The s’mores they made the next day were delicious, and thankfully had resulted in fewer injuries.
