I haven't watched Arcane season 2 yet, and I'm waiting to watch it together with my friends. But I did see clips and active spoilers.

And I have to say, as someone who didn't really find the appeal in JayVik and thought of them as just casual tragic Bros™ for season 1, that fucking scene (y'all know damn well which one) threw all that out the fucking window.

I mean?? I guess you could argue it was platonic on some level. But if your only excuse against the ship is that "ThEy GaVe ThEm FeMaLe LoVe InTeReSts," then that's a poor fucking excuse.

That's because their whole story was that they were the closest thing to soulmates in the Arcane universe. They would always choose each other, in the end. Even if it was late, they always chose each other.

They had meaningful relationships with others, but nothing would ever come close to what they had. Their love, whether platonic or romantic, transcended fucking reality and time.

Even if you don't ship them, you have to admit, they fucking loved each other so much. It was on a whole different level.

Like, season 2 single-handedly made me a JayVik shipper. I love that shit, and I will never get more since Arcane is over, and not getting renewed, and LoL is apparently a nightmare.
