Yo! Love your work, was wondering if we could get a piece on how Itachi would handle a anxiety attack from his fem!s/o who has some kind of past trauma (it’s Naruto, duh XD)

Itachi would be the kindest in dealing with a traumatised S/O. He is no stranger to what trauma can do to someone, especially PTSD and anxiety.

He would definitely wake her up from any nightmares and hold her as she lets her emotions out. He’s a big believer that it’s more helpful to let someone feel their emotions when they are overwhelmed, sort of like a catharsis. However, he is also aware that a panic attack can be very very dangerous if someone hyperventilates.

He will hold her and soothe her back gently, asking her to take deep breaths with him and focus on her surroundings. Alternatively, he gives her a cup of water as he knows she will have to breathe to drink and it may reset her (this actually works. Take it with a grain of salt, but from experience, hyperventilation gets slightly better when you have a drink. It also tricks your brain into thinking you must not be in danger, otherwise you wouldn’t eat/drink)

If all else fails, he will consider putting her under a genjutsu. By doing that, he can trick her mind into thinking everything is alright and calmly talk through what she’s feeling in the genjutsu, where she does not feel that anxiety :)

Naruto meets her for the first time when he’s six, disheartened from numerous rejections to his proposal of play to the other children in the park. He sneaks off from under the beady eye of the orphanage matron, carefully trekking through the surrounding forest for a place to be by himself. 

He stumbles into a small clearing, empty at first glance. But the closer he walks, he begins to pick up the small sound of humming. Curious, but cautious, he crawls forward as quietly as possible. 

There, by the bushes, is a little girl that’s probably the same age as him. She sits on the ground, uncaring for the dirt that clings to her dress. Flowers surround her in piles, separated by colors. In her hands is the beginning of a flower crown, a mess of yellows, oranges and greens. 

He watches, fascinated by the peaceful image in comparison to the chaos of the playground and captivated by the girl’s features. He’s never seen anyone with hair like hers before - a shade of pink that reminds him of those pretty trees he saw last year. Then there are her eyes, barely seen from his position, but unmistakably a shade of green. 

Overall, compared to the dull browns and blacks of everyone else he’s seen, the girl is vibrant - pretty, even. He wants to step closer, see the color a little more clearly. He wants to know her name. Maybe even ask if she’d like to play (wonders if she’ll be his friend). 

Then she looks up, spots him and freezes. And suddenly, he doesn’t want to get close or ask anything, reminded of why he’s in the clearing in the first place. He shifts, wary and ready to run. 

“Hello.” 

He startles at the soft voice, gaze snapping to meet green eyes in surprise. The girl is standing up, absently brushing the dirt off the skirt of her dress. She doesn’t step close, watching him curiously. Then she smiles and he can’t look away. 

“I’m Sakura. Want to make flower crowns with me?”

Rating: Explicit Fandom: Naruto Pairing: NaruSaku Summary: Sakura knows Naruto is busy making decisions all day as Hokage, and she wants to try something to get his mind off of work so he can get a break from making decisions for awhile.

Writing Prompts: Canon Divergent AUs - Butterfly Edition!

The idea is to change one (or a couple) aspects of canon and see how the story shifts as a result. It's a great exercise for character comprehension and of course your imagination, while still having canon as a helpful crutch. Not to mention how fun it is to see things play out differently ^_^

Tool Tip: Adding OCs/Places/Powers etc is fine but try to keep things within the rules of the source material!

Pre Start of Main Story:

-Sakumo lives/Kakashi's mystery mother actually exists

-Rin/Obito/Both live/Kakashi dies

-Kushina/Minato/Both survive

-All Uchiha/Mikoto/Fugaku/Shisui survives/Itachi stays

-Orochimaru/Tsunade/Jiraiya/All stay

-Danzo murders Hiruzen (f.e. by having him "KIA with Kyuubi")

-Ichiraku Ramen doesn't exist

-Road To Ninja it: Add a RTN character as the original's twin, or replace them entirely

Suggestion: The pressure and war trauma got to him and turned him into a high functioning sociopath. He only acted the part of a kind brother and murdered the Uchiha because he viewed them as weak and beneath him. He kept Sasuke alive because he views him as cute in a 'bug crawling for its life' kind of way and loves seeing his expressions of despair and rage.

Main Story:

-Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura/Kakashi dies during Wave Arc

-Haku/Zabuza/Both survive

-Gaara succeeds in killing Sakura during the Suna Ambush

-Anko takes Sasuke under her wing (curse mark connection)

-Sasuke/Naruto/Both die at VOTE1

-Naruto joins Sasuke in defecting

-Naruto and Sasuke run away together, but not to join Orochimaru

-Orochimaru Foul: He gets fed up with Sasuke's attitude and decides to keep him blind until he's ready to possess him. He steals one/both of Sasuke's eyes in an attempt to keep him docile.

x. Sasuke goes catatonic.

y. Sasuke goes ballistic. He dies/He runs.

z. Sasuke is found and rescued.

Bonuses that you can add:

a. Madara plotline doesn't exist

pt.2

Oh Neji is always stoic and composed but his brain suddenly stops thinking when you wanted to talk with him. All he notices, is the way how adorable you look and when you being such a lovely girl, it’s even harder to really listen to you.

Hello world, this time I wrote a short, little fluff for my boy Neji. He is cute and has long hair I am sorry how could I not fall for him 👁️👄👁️ and I really wanted to write something where this stoic shinobi is blushing because of us 😫😫🤌🏻✨ I hope you have fun with this little story.

Warnings: none it’s pure fluff

Wordcount: 756 as I said just a short little thing

The situation was critical, at least for him. You stood just some inches away, talking and yapping happily around. Sometimes flashing a cute, smile on your lips to him. Neji always the stoic one, still trying to hold his composure. But it was hard, damn hard now. He had a crush on you, not that the serious shinobi would ever admit that. Having a crush? He usually never had time for that. Not that he would be really interested in any romantic relationships at the moment. He needed to train, and he took his missions always so serious.

Although for some reason he couldn't bring himself to tell you that he wouldn't have any time for your talk.

Instead, he stood there nodding along and sometimes letting out a „hm". Neji didn't have any clue what you were talking about currently. He was so focused to not just stop breathing.

You were a pretty little thing. And he always thought you were pretty, no beautiful, not quiet you were gorgeous to him. The way you looked at first so shyly over to him as if you never saw a more handsome guy. And then flashing him a lovely smile. Someday you then simply started talking and he wasn't a fan at first. But he couldn't deny you anything at all. He simply looked at you and even when he was the genius of the Hyuga clan his brain stopped working when you suddenly stood so close to him so he could smell your perfume. You smelled good, something sweet and fruity, it was fogging his thoughts to be honest.

He should be training together with Lee and Tenten. The two waited some meters away at the staircase for him.

Clearly they had fun watching how Neji was for once helpless. None of them thought a girl like you could get him to drop everything what he is doing.

„You know when I told my mom about..." you said, and he just nodded again. Gods, he wanted to say something, but he was too mesmerized when his eyes landed on you. Drinking in ever detail of your adorable face, your lips. He wanted to kiss those lips. And you had taken a strand of Nejis long hair between your fingers, twirling and curling it around your digit.

These cute little gestures. And then it happened, he blushed. He really tried not to. That was the reason why this situation took everything from him.

His cheeks blushing in a cool pink shade, and he just heard how you seemed to melt when you got s reaction of him. You chuckled sweetly before you leaned in. Your eyes right in front of his.

„So what do you say, Hyuga?" you asked, and you looked excited. Neji had no idea what you wanted, but he tried to gain back composure and gently removing your fingers from his hair. Although, he secretly liked when you played with his hair.

„Yeah, of course." he replied, not aware on what he agreed, or what the topic even was.  

Then Lee and Tenten walked over. „You ready to get beaten by me?" Lee teased with a pulled up eyebrow.

You then smiled at them too before you waved a goodbye to them.

Finally, he could have air to breath.

„You wish." Neji replied his stoic self back, although there still was the faint hue of blush on his cheeks.

„Well at least I would know when I would agree on a date with someone so cute like her." Lee meant and he just like Tenten laughed heartily. His eyes then went to his teammates, a little in shock.

„I never agreed on a date. We were just talking." he defended himself, not sure if they just tried to tease him with you like they always did. When Tenten caught her breath after she laughed, she laid a hand on his shoulder.

„Your big brain really is going shortcut when she is around, hm? She asked you if you want to meet with her tomorrow, alone. And you said yes." the brunette girl told him then. Neji turned around like as if he would still see you. He would go on a date with you? Tomorrow? Would his schedule even allow that? Would he even be able to breath? To think? Fuck. He was fucked and he knew it. But all you could think about was when he would be blushing again, simply when you lean in and giving him a peck on his cheek.

Happy Halloween! There's something up with Hokage's daughter Naruto and I need to know what so more of that AU please.

Naruto watches the matches with half an eye, more interested in what's going on in the audience than down in the ring. She wants her friends to win, of course, wants them to get the recognition and promotions they deserve. But having to retake the chunin exam is the least of their worries. It's more important that they're in fighting shape than that they're victorious. She's trusting them to remember that.

Sakura makes a better showing against Kankuro than anyone expects, but she's judicious with her power, and around the time she starts slowing down, she forfeits. It sets everyone muttering, because it doesn't make any sense, but Sakura knows the plan in its entirety and she's not willing to risk anything.

Kabuto loses against Tenten, which she'd been halfway expecting. He's clearly staying a genin for a reason, although she has no idea what it could be.

Sasuke and Neji, which she watches with real pleasure. They've been choreographing this fight for weeks, making something flashy and impressive that doesn't exhaust either of them. They only part of the fight that isn't rehearsed is the last two minutes of it, each of them attempting to land three hits on the other and when Neji lands his third, Sasuke curses out loud, but lets Neji take him out with his next move. It's to be expected since Neji's defense is perfect against those types of hits, but making a good showing is more important than winning.

Then it's her turn.

She's in the arena, grinning at Gaara larger than she would normally.

But if he notices how some of her teeth in the back are sharper than they should be, it's only fair. That's the only warning he's going to get.

I thought there was something I’d forgotten. I never introduced myself lol. The handle is Vulpisnocturna because that’s my name on AO3, and this is a blog for me to drop updates, talk about fanfics, writing and all that.
