One thing I want to know about you: what piece of art (be it writing, animation, drawing, headcanon, or anything else) are you most proud of?

uuuuhhhhhhhh OH! i do remember this one personal animation i did when i was obsessed with jojos not long ago (one of the few things in recent years where it took me multiple days of work to finish)

i worked on it in the school labs between assignments bc i didn't have that noice anim tech setup at home ahaha

i'm proud of it bc it showed me that i was still capable of passion.? after the Big Depressi took over, there was a looong time when i didn't .. do fanart. i could draw if external pressures demanded it, but i couldn't recreate the zealous obsession of Young Me, who was so FOCUSED on whatever media I chose that i'd dedicate myself to learning/creating/engaging with its ppl. fandoms mark the greatest growth periods in my art bc they inspire me to actually LOOK AT REFERENCE AND DO THINGS BETTER

spending time on that jojo anim taught Older Jaded Me that i: - still have the potential to be freaky about fandom - DO have energy somewhere in me - can still do stuff that is not my default style (the art itself was jojos style so it wasn't easy for me)

the thing ended up pretty close to my vision!! i had fun while making it, and people seemed to like it when i shared. so that was nice. a nostalgic reminder of the funs of fandom :)
