Do not ask me what this is and why I am posting it, this is yet another product of the insanity that goes on in our 18+ discord server

It’s no surprise that with the formation of the Division Rap Battles by the Japanese Government (also known as Chuohku), many teams have been formed either through coercion or by their own volition, with those teams come many high profile people or very prolific celebrities both old and young. As such, a betting ring was formed, by who? Well, no one knows, it could be from criminals to politicians to random civilians to even other contestants in the very same tournament, all that matters is that every person in the Division Rap Battles has a bounty on their head, this is a list of how much they’re apparently worth.

Even though the full bloom forecast in Kumamoto had already passed by a few days, the city’s “Hanami” still seemed to yet cease for another visitor…

“Looks like Hanami-san isn’t home yet,” said the reddish-haired boy with a guitar case on his back. He had tried hitting the doorbell a couple of times but there was no response from the resident.

Holding a cherry blossom snow globe in his hand, he tried finding somewhere to lie down the gift so that the birthday owner could receive their gift properly.

“Oopsie~ Kunio kid didn’t tell me that the little birdie is having work today, but maybe he is busy with some gigs at the theater.”

Glancing at his side, standing beside him was a tall man with a usual carefree smile and the iconic shades he always wears.

Honestly, even if Yuuya knew it was certain that this shady dude was someone with an official profile in public, he just couldn’t help doubting whether he could trust him or not —Not only because of his shady look, but also for the fact that he claimed himself to be one of his dad’s ‘friends’…

Suddenly, the voice of a girl from somewhere had joined the conversation.

“Let’s leave what you called [gifts] here and get back, human! ANGE thinks that entity named [Hanami] kinda doesn’t look safe...”

On the screen of Yuuya’s phone appeared a figure of one girl with long white hair and bright red eyes with inhuman white pupils. Her expression seemed to be anxious about something. And despite how real she sounds, listen closely and one might notice some static hidden in between the phrases —Yeah, her voice was actually synthetic, given that the speaker was not really human. Still, Yuuya had got to admit that her speaking had been improving a lot since they first met.

Hearing the mysterious girl in Yuuya’s phone talked, his ‘dad’s friend’ with suspicious sunglasses slightly raised his brows.

“Oh, your girlfriend is tagging along huh.”

And even if his shades blocked him to see his clear expression, Yuuya just felt like his tone sounded a bit like a sneer.

“It’s such a regret~ If this is only a date between the two of us, I’d like to take you to do many funsy together~~ There are loooot of stuffs we could enjoy here in Kumamoto, ya know~?”

“EEWWW The one who should go away are [you], dirty cat! Shoo, shoo! Go away!! You don’t plan to scam my human, do you? You’re always lying even just now!”

“—Hey, stop fighting you two.”

It wouldn’t be good if their bicker got more heat than this, so Yuuya had to interrupt them somehow. Besides, he didn’t have much time to leisure around, actually.

“Alright, then I’ll just leave the present here and get back. I already had an appointment with my clubmates at school, so I shouldn’t keep them waiting for long, should I?”

After finding somewhere that looked like a mailbox, he carefully placed the pink snow globe there and glanced back at his phone’s phone to see that his cyber buddy was now calming down, only with some little pout on her face.

Maybe he was just imagining things but he felt ANGE had been lately a tad bit clingy toward him ever since she told him that there were too many individuals with ‘omnious waves’ lurking around in the D.R.B. —He wasn’t sure what she really meant though, but he’d like to give it some thoughts.

And even if he still doubted many things about her as well, here and now wasn’t a right time to be a skeptic. So, he decided to just leave further query inside of his mind for now.

Thinking so, Yuuya then turned to his other companion.

“And Asebi-san, ANGE is not my girlfriend… However, I beg of you to not be rude to her please.”

Humming a joy melody to himself Hanami Yamamura seemed to dance when he get close to his own residence gave by the starless theater,saying a friendly "hi" or a glow smile to the people who said him "hello" or looked at him with smiles, Hanami was a truly light to anyone in kumamoto city

The "songbird" sighed when he looked at the little box on infront of his door

"uh? What could be this?"-Hanami hummed holding the gift on his hands, looking it closer to him the sapphire eyes has a light when he looked better the snowball

-"how cute!"-Hanami mumbled seeing the beautiful design of a bridge surrounded by cherry blossoms. He shacking it softly and a sweet smile appeared on his face when the pink "snow" seemed to fly around the ball like that seasons where the flowers blooming, that season Hanami named himself after

In that moment several pink petal fall around him and Hanami raise the look

Andddd, at long last… The chill wind of late November has flushed through the ever buzzling afternoon of town announcing the super special day of Akihabara’s goofy hypnotherapist.

And as Anika was wandering out of her room during a small break before the last session of her day, she then saw her receptionist waving at her like he was having something to show her.

“Good thing you are here! Earlier the deliveryman has dropped some parcel addressed to you!”

Then the large box was slided to take a stop in front of the confused hypnotherapist,

…Oh right, today was her birthday. It must be some of her clients again, how kind of them to send in some gifts for celebrating with her.

But, somewhat the name of its sender was catching her eyes —Looking like this mysterious gift was from a certain boy who lived in Nara.

Eh… And what in the world would that boy send to her this time?

Knowing this boy’s whimsical sense of humor sometimes, she was kinda curious of what was packing inside this box. Hence that’s why she was going to discover it here and now.

And soon the mischievous presents were exposed to her sight…

Not only a goofy refresher candle was laying there to salute her day, there were also a bunch of comfy-sized pastries loaded in to fill her birthday party… But, oh well… They were all made of fluff and were in no way edible despite how realistic they looked.

The letter from the familiar boy in Nara ended with that, but it looked like there was one more thing left for her to satisfy her curiosity

—And the phone in her hand was here for that sake.

As soon as the mailbox on her phone was opened, for whatever reason, the speakers in her entire clinic were starting to play the jovial tunes in unison

And from here on, the super special Happy Birthday Song exclusively arranged for her was echoing in her clinic…

Even if she can’t fully hear the whole thing, she could still see from her peers’ expressions that this song was no way an extraordinary one—

Horrified by what was presented to her, her coral eyes travelled back and forth between her phone and her interpreter in the room.

She had no idea what she was supposed to be hearing.

However the video playing from her phone was more than enough context clues.

Her interpreter, Kataoka, had sprawled out on the couch in the office and covered her face with one of the pillows that was shaped into loaves of bread.

Anika jumped up from her seat and ran over to her. “Why did I have to go deaf before I got to ever hear this song?!”

Kataoka kept the pillow over her face. “That’s what you took from that?!”

“No, but look! I see all over the internet of people getting Rick-rolled! But I have no idea what the song sounds like or what I’m missing out on! I know the meme but I’ll never know how funny it is!”

If Asato wasn't already buzzing with energy from the cake he had tried to consume whole, Asato would be brimming with joy at the sight of the wagashi he was gifted. The last time he could eat any wagashi was in Kyoto and it's been months since that strange ordeal.

Lounging back, Asato unabashedly popped one into his mouth as he read over the card with a rare, little smile. Despite not knowing Asahi Tomoharu, he felt an uncharacteristic need to meet the person who crafted the tasty treats. Even if he wasn't one for the cute details put into the autumnal nerikiri set, the taste alone had him wanting to get to know the artisan... Perhaps he could even try to do better at cultivating and delivering specialty ingredients if it meant he would get to eat more sweets.

Asato's need to collect all the food-related rivals in his pocket... Thank you for the gift!

After silently arriving at his destination, the old attendant named ‘Chishio’ picked a small package wrapped within a neat piece of cloth out of his pocket and put it inside the mailbox in front of the Okada residence, not forgetting to submit a card with the message “Happy Birthday and Happy New Year! —from Nara Division” along with them.

The gifts that those kids in the division have picked for Ritsuko were a set of coasters designed after specimens of human’s brain and a bottle of colorful temari candies. For some tidbits, the candies were symbolized after some traditional ball toys called ‘Temari’ which were often gifted to children on New Year’s day to wish for their happiness. And apparently, one of many reasons why kids crave sweet things is because the principal energy for human’s brain is also glucose —the end product from breaking down most sugars. What a good match for the presents(?)

“And hey. If you seem that scared, why do you follow me here in the first place huh, little miss?”

Chishio frowned a bit as he noticed a small creature snuggling around his shoes after it spending a brief moment running around and checking the new environment it had visited.

…Wait, why was that kid’s kitty stalking him again today?

Gently picking the kitten up from the ground, the old man muttered something as if he was talking with her.

“I knew my master doesn’t really like cats much due to some allergy he has to your fur, but I’m sure that he has never done something rude to you as well. So, why can’t you just stay there and enjoy your time with your owner instead of running around like this? Outside is full of harm, just you know.”

The old man sighed. For whatever he had spoken out just now, there was no way the petite feline in his arms could neither understand nor answer him anyway.

—How ridiculous can this be? He could persuade that smart kid not to tag along with him in almost dangerous places but couldn’t do that with his cat.

“…Fine, let’s go home Ojou-chan. At least you make a less annoying companion than the other ‘cat’ I know.”

Ritsuko plucked a Temari from the bowl and rolled it around her fingers, inspecting the small treat. How amusing, she thought as she popped it in her mouth and began to chew, it was indeed sweet and it scratched at her sweet tooth nicely. Those specimens from Nara were quite intriguing, not only due to their gift giving habits but also because of the members themselves, the scientist made a mental note to do more research on them, she had a feeling that they may prove useful to her.

And after debating with himself whether to give it some read or just ignore it as he was afraid this might be those ‘malicious letters’ he used to see a lot in anime, the boy finally mustered up his courage and decided to open the mysterious envelope….

Hello there, great boy! Happy birthday and congratulations on reaching the final year of school! And in case you had already forgotten; this is from your senior, Yuuya of Nara!

That was until his gray eyes slowly drifted to the small clock on his wall.

“Oh bloody- I'm gonna be late for the morning patrol!” Daiki suddenly exclaims. Stuffing a taiyaki into his mouth, he chokes down the delicious treat as he fastens his mask over the lower half of his face and buckles his helmet under his chin. Underneath his goggles, he teared up at the tastiness of the fish-shaped pastries before he slammed the door behind him. No hero can be late for their duties, not even the great PALADIN!

Hello and apologizing for the late delivery, the one who’s writing this is a certain Nara boy from Nara Division. Apparently, there was some ‘stuff’ happened in my hometown on the day that we’re supposed to relay our birthday presents, so we unfortunately can’t afford to deliver our presents to you in time.

Even so, since this is your special occasion, we still want to get you some presents. They may not be pricey but I hope you will enjoy them.”

After unwrapping her present, she found the two boxes. The first one on top seems to emit some sweet scent, so the model decides to look into it first.

“These confectionaries are from Hi-chan! They might look like some expensive jewelries at your first glance, but in fact; these crystals are edible, fruity, and simply made from sugar and agar-agar jelly named Kohakutō. With their mischievous but beautiful looks, they’re undoubtedly very popular at his family’s store. I even believe that I may or may not see somebody from another division regularly coming here to buy this treat from his shop.”

And the other box has some rattling sound contained inside as she lifts it up. Opening the lid up, something sparkly is exposed to her sight.

“These beautiful earrings are from my classmates and my acquaintances! Many people I know out there (and even the classmates in my class) happen to be your fan, hence I’ve always been nagged to relay their presents to you ever since they know our team intends to gift you something on your birthday. Fortunately, their choices of gifts aren’t anything perverted and are actually the decent ones. They choose these butterfly patterns because they think they would suit your and I shall admit that I do think the same as well.

By the way, since almost every gift in this box isn’t technically picked by me, so… I’ve added my own pick as well. They’re the Cat Cafe tickets I got from the onee-san at my nearby pet shop. She gave me these tickets because her sister had just opened the small cat cafe in Saitama. And I did catch wind that you’re good with animals; therefore, I think this might bring a good breather to your busy days and to enjoy some peace of mind with your friends and family.

The Headache of Potions professor because he is quite obsessed with putting things he gets interested into a pot and sees if it’s gonna work

However, funnily enough; he is scoring well on this subject because of his accidental discovery on 50+ more easier unconventional ways to formulate the same potions with the same properties

Kinda knowledgeable about plants, knowing which kind could be edible and even how to make it taste good

Very great at baking and cooking, house’s elves are losing their career

Genuinely wants to befriend Hogwarts’s elves, but the elves don’t want to befriend him because he mostly doesn’t left his chores for them to do

Known for his ability to cast multiple complex and functional spells all at once

Known for his always scowling face and strict nature, but in truth, he does care a lot about his students

Likely becomes the pseudo-parent to two kids and one ghost(?) as he often runs into their shenanigans by chance

Hogwarts ghosts are pretty welcome to her arrival, they often act like her parents and even becomes supportive of her whenever she wants to kick Peeves’s ass

Oh yeah, she has a beef with Peeves (Hogwarts’s Poltergeist) since that mischief likes to harass other students out there!

With her nature of ghost, she can pass through solid objects and is unable to physically touch something —However, unlike other ghosts, she has shown to be quite expressive and had her preferences leaning more aligned to those of the mortal ones

Looks all cute and smol but isn’t so harmless due to her bizarre ability to meddle with most kinds of magic, especially the magic from that wizard boy’s wand

Claims to be able to communicate with the magic power living within each person’s wand and is super curious to know what Hogwarts students normally learn in their classes

Yuuya has speculated that she might have used to live as a very powerful witch before passing away… But, who will know the truth anyway?

From what she could utmostly recall, she had come to haunting around the fringe of Forbidden Forest without any memory until one day the little cat lead its wizard boy to come across her by chance

That day she has gained her first wizard friend who is willing to talk with her and she is very appreciative of their friendship

Really, really LOVES to talk —Can’t never seem to shut up about something that piques up her interest

Together with her now two wizard friends, she is looking forward to any journey this wicked destiny would bring to herself

Saigo doesn’t like him and the feelings are mutual

(His surrogate family is related to Saigo from his mother’s side and all were sorted into Ravenclaw)

Once being accused to work for Daily Prophet due to his habit to sneak around here and there but surprisingly isn’t

Here’s the second doubt for him being a Dark Arts appreciator since he seems to know a lot about it in great details —However, it’s still a mystery of which faction he truly affiliates to or why he had come to Hogwarts in the first place

Suggests “Nah we’d flee” for most fights, actually is a veteran duelist

The kind of quick caster who isn’t proficient at playing fair

Attempts to be friendly-friendly with Yuuya for unclear agenda despite their house’s enmity, he even goes as far as providing him some little helps and secretly looks out for him from the dark

As the darkness of the night came to visit the city of Kumamoto, soon the magician and lead actor of “Starless Theater” who had just arrived home after work happened to find a mysterious package dropped in front of his doorstep.

Curious as to who was daring to challenge an information broker like him by finding the location of his home, Kunio decided to investigate the package first and then discovered that inside the package was nothing but a very fantasy and steampunk-looking opera house music box with a slightly crumpled note attached along.

This silly me believes it has been a while since the last time we spoke, hasn’t it? Guess it couldn’t be helped since life has been busy as of late, but hmm~ What’s this~? Looks like you have some kind of unexpecting omen paid a visit to your life when I’m not looking. Oh my, my, my~ Even this all-knowing watchcat is still baffled by how this all happened. Thinking about that Kunio see his birthday gift better,the steampunk opera house-theme looked perfect in his eyes,humming the gray-haired enters to his home announcing he has arrive...just to be received for silence

Frowing, Kunio go to the living room with a sudden feeling of worry and fear "¿Natsume felt sick or something bad did happened to him as I was out?!"...the reaper's human vessel was almost scared but them he looks around him and his concerns are calming by the sight infront of him

There in the couch lay Natsume,the warlock was awake but looked sleepy almost closing his eyes when Kunio approaches to him and knee before the fortune-teller

"welcome home,love"-Natsume whispered and sit in the couch. smiling happily when Kunio take his hand and kiss it affectionately to then kiss his still-flat stomach over the sweather

"I'm glad of finally be with you two,my beloveds"-Kunio said with a warm smile and take sit by Natsume's side. The red-haired rest his head over Kunio's shoulder when he notice the music box and hummed "what's that?"-he asked curiously and Kunio giggle

"a birthday gift from certain Nara's cat...he also said us "congratulations" for the baby, not ask me how he found out"

Natsume hummed as a melody sounds from the music box,cooing him as a sweet lullaby till he fall asleep and Kunio sweetly kiss his husband's head, feeling the little presence growing inside of Natsume. Smiling to himself Kunio hugg Natsume more close to him in a protective way

It was such a good afternoon filled with a load of blessing messages and birthday wishes flooding in the super chat of a certain popular gamer and streamer ‘Screen Shot’ of Akihabara, giving an immense rush of joy as she saw how much appreciation she received from her fans.

But during one moment when her round and puppy-like eyes were casting over her lively chatbox, suddenly she encountered a single but very outstanding notification from her own computer popping up on her monitor screen.

A bit provoking, wasn’t it? She felt like she was being annoyed by a certain sender this morning. But anyway, good luck that she was now in a challenging mood. Let’s hope that it wasn’t from the same sender this time.

Slowly reaching the entrance of her residence, Makina peeking at the eyehole on the door for a primary safety check. However, weirdly enough ... There was no single trace of anyone but a mere medium-sized of box let alone on her doorstep.

…Was it a prank or did Anika order anything from online again?

That was what she thought until she noticed small letters written “Happy Birthday!” and the sender’s name was that one leader of Nara Division.

Therefore, after given a relief that it wasn’t some horrid prank submitted from nowhere, the streamer girl decided it was now her unboxing time!

And then, tada! What came greeting her sight first was a comfy jacket with a screen of a goose (or a duck? Whatever…) holding a knife its beak and a very famous quote she once saw on internet

Lol nobody knew who was the one inspiring the Nara leader to send in this kind of gift…

But it wasn’t only that!

There was also one more package hidden underneath the jacket! This one is somewhat difficult to explain… coming along in with a note which she remembered it was the leader of Miraitabi’s handwriting;

Cheers and hereto another year with another special regards from my division! But aside from my gift, there was also the other one from my friend —Yeah, that one of your streamer buddies with the symbol of starry sky 🌌, he had gone to visit an aquarium on this summer vacation and bought us some souvenirs, you included! “Ah…” Anika signed. “Probably payback because of the goose gift I gave him back on his birthday.”

“What are you, related?”

“Pffff, now wouldn’t that be something?” Anika laughed and picked up one of the head covers that came with the pack of meme fish gifts. She placed it over Makina’s head and fastened the velcro.

Makina already had a relatively round face. Now with a prehistoric animal meme wrapped around her head…

It really was ridiculous…

And Anika bursted into laughter.

“He’s got good taste in presents!” Anika finally said once her laughter died down.

Makina clicked her tongue and yanked the headpiece off and threw it right into Anika’s face, who let out a loud “OOMF” upon impact.

“I swear, you two are one and the same just going by the gifts you give…” Makina grumbled.

Though Anika didn’t hear it.

Anika wheezed and placed the headpiece back on Makina’s bed. “You know… you should keep this around for those batsus you do on stream.”

Huh…

“You know, you actually come up with good ideas when you put your mind to it for once.”
