Keiko's Thoughts on Kumamoto Division
Tumblr media
Aoba Yamamura
"I don't know much about Yamamura-san, though I often see him in the campus library when our regular librarian is absent for some reason. I think many of the students here on campus prefer him to our normal librarian. How do I know this? Because ever since Yamamura-san started showing up, more and more students have been coming to the library as of late. However, I think they come mainly to just either gawk at, or flirt with Yamamura-san. He has my respect for being able to put up with it for so long. If it were me, I'd have lost my cool a long time ago. Libraries are supposed to be places to study or work, not shamelessly flirt with the staff!"
"Aside from that, as I stated, I don't really know much else about Yamamura-san. He's a very quiet person. I suspect he probably shies away from social interaction due to the scar on his face. But... I could have sworn I've seen him on some magazine covers or on billboards. ...A librarian who is secretly a model. ...That sounds like the beginning of a bad joke to me."
Kunio Chōten
"The first thing I noticed about this guy is his last name. It's the same as the arrogant, rich guy from Aoyama, meaning he must be related. But I hadn't heard of his family having another kid. If they did, why was he never mentioned? Hmm. In any case, he doesn't seem arrogant like his brother. He actually seems... fairly decent. I don't know much about him, though."
Natsume Kurome
"I really admire and respect Kurome-sensei. He's not our permanent art instructor at the Academy, but I'm always glad when he is teaching the class. I learn more from him than our usual instructor. He's actually tutored me once or twice. He seemed upset when I told him I don't plan on becoming an artist as a career, but he understood. Still, I'll enjoy his classes as long as I can."
Strange Magic
"I really don't mind this team, even with the Chōten guy. Like I said, he seems nice, but his older brother kinda ruined that name for... well, practically everyone in Japan, really. But besides that, I have to wonder what their reasoning is for being in the D.R.B. Especially Kurome-sensei. ...Well, in any case, I look forward to seeing and hearing more from them."

Azusa furukawa knew about the secret santa event..but she don't had expectatives for that
But looking at her gift
A antique samurai armor with a card
Tumblr media
"merry christmas Furukawa-san, i'm your secret santa, this "prop" is a genuine armor from 100 or 200 years ago, even me i'm a bit shocked foe the things hidden at the Starless theater's basement, you could use it for watching over the dojo, this armor have a rumor of be haunted for a samurai phantom, merry christmas again"-K.C
-In kumamoto-
"my love, your gift to furukawa is that haunted armor who can fight and move by itself?"
"not only can made that... sometimes i hearded it talk"
"how do you think Will react Furukawa-san when she find that?
"i don't know"
Azusa looked at the suit of Samurai armor in awe. Looking up at the helmet, she looked at the half crescent ornament, she had to wonder if this suit of armor belonged to the Sengoku warlord, Masamune Date. If so, then this was more valuable than she previously thought. Not that she had any plans of selling it.
For starters, this was a gift, and her honor wouldn't allow her to insult the one who sent it to her. And secondly, a suit of armor such as this was priceless. No matter how much money was offered for it, it probably still wouldn't be enough. And thirdly, a suit such as this deserved a good home. She could tell by the amount of dust that was on it, that it had been standing (or sitting) its in same position for a long period of time. And she was going to care for it, whether it was ever worn or not.
She cocked an eyebrow at the part of the letter that said it may be inhabited by a spirit. Though she thought highly unlikely that the suit was haunted, in truth, it wouldn't have been too much a surprise. Her father told her that many dead Samurai once roamed around their suits of armor because, as sad as it was, they continued fighting even after their deaths, so they couldn't abandon the only thing that was offering them protection. A sad thought, but it made for a good poem or movie.
After several hours of polishing it, the armor was now standing outside of the entrance to the dojo, as if it was still doing its duty, guarding someone important. Though the person may not be their lord, it had shown it kindness that it had not seen in a long time. So, it would accept this young woman who was trying to keep the spirit of the Samurai alive as its new master. And it would protect her, no matter what...

"niichan"-Kunio kurome smiled once he enters to the manor hugging his surprised older brother
Once Kunio heared that Tomi's parents are not there he take advantage to visit Tomi
"Happy birthday"-he said after him and Tomi talked a bit and Kunio smirked when he have Kunio a package where inside there's a beautiful emerald crown
Tumblr media
"to the birthday king!"-Kunio said bowing down to Tomi jokingly and laughing at his brother's surprise
But warmy the both brothers talk with each other and Kunio mention to him
"by the way,me and Natsume were talking about having a child,we used medicine and a bit of Natsume's magic to have a biolgical one...oon you could have a nephew or niece...once Natsume tell me ofically that he is with kid but he didn't know that i already know his state"-Kunio laughed
Looking at the crown with a look of astonishment, Tomi blinked as he continued holding onto the artifact. After staring at it for a while, he suddenly grinned, shaking his head. Exactly the sort of gift he'd expect from his younger brother. Placing the gleaming object atop his head, the socialite had to admit, it felt him feel sorta... royal.
"Thank you, Brother," Tomi said, shaking his head. At his announcement of him and his spouse having a child, Tomi blinked, surprised once again. Not the least because he had a similar conversation with his own spouse the other day on their way back to Japan.
"If you do have a child, they'll have inherited royal blood. Good luck."

Aoba enters to the eagle's nest and approaching to Evelyn apparently indifferent to the men in the bar who looked at him enchanted by his cold, but sensual-almost mystique presence
who received him with a bit surprised but quickly smile at him
"hello Evelyn-san"-he said to his model partner-"i'm sorry for give this to you late but i was busy with some things, those gifts are from me and my team"
The first gift was two cheongsam dresses,a blue and another pink
Tumblr media Tumblr media
-"those are from my last modeling gig,i rejected by part but the designer gaved me them,i think this type of dresses are more You taste than me"-he said pointing at his dark and a bit goth outfit
The next gift is a little velvet box with a Rose inside
Tumblr media
The box have a only a little card with-"happy birthday little Rose"-from Kunio
With the last gift Aoba can't help but giggled -"this is from Natsume but before tell me something Evelyn...do you believe in magic?"-
To Evelyn's confused look Aoba take off something from his leather jacket
Tumblr media
A tiny bottle with a intense pink liquid and a card
"happy birthday Evelyn chan,i normally not make potions if isn't a magical experiment but let me explain, this potion not make something feel love (the love is a feeling that magic cannot copy) but if this is used in a person that someone's someone's feelings for his loved one will be more intense (how intense are actually if who drink it not show affect very much) temporaly, only a drop it's neccesary"-from Nastume
While Evelyn was busy trying on the dresses that the strange person from Kumamoto left them, Ace was busy looking at the so-called "love potion", a skeptical look on his face.
"This stuff is obviously fake." Ace said, putting the stuff back down on the counter.
"How can you be so sure, Master Ace?" Rashaad asked, giving him a lopsided grin.
"Come on, Rash. You don't actually believe in this stuff, do you?" Ace asked, looking at his friend. "I mean, really. A love potion? This is, more than likely, just flavored pop and some other ingredients added to make it taste 'mystical'. So-called fortune tellers and mystics make stuff like this all the time to make a quick buck."
"Quite possibly." Rashaad stated, a shrug of his shoulders. "But if the people believe it, whose to say its not real?"
"Of course it's not real! Like I said, fortune tellers and charlatans hype this stuff up to get people interested. Anybody who wastes their money on this junk is either desperate, or needs their head examined."
"Hmm." Rashaad simply uttered, deciding it was better for the two of them to agree-to-disagree rather than continue arguing. Thankfully, Evelyn came back down at that exact moment wearing the blue Cheongsam dress Aoba had gifted her.
"How is it?" Evelyn asked, turning around letting the men see her.
"It definitely suits you, Eevee." Ace stated, a smirk on his face.
"I agree. You look wonderful, Miss Rose." Rashaad stated.
"Thanks guys!"
The birthday girl was prepared to head back upstairs to try on the other dress, but noticed the potion sitting on the counter. Walking up to it, she looked at it, a curious look on her face.
"Does this stuff, like, actually work?" Evelyn asked.
"Of course not, Eve." Ace answered, his skeptical look returning. "Like I told Rashaad, that stuff is fake."
"It is?" Evelyn asked. "So, it doesn't, like, work?"
"It does, just not in the way you think, Miss Rose." Rashaad answered.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Evelyn asked, cocking an eyebrow. Waving her over, the bartender whispered something in her ear, making her eyes light up. Ace, who wasn't interested enough to notice, was busy browsing his phone. Suddenly, he felt his girlfriend's tight grip on his arm.
"Come on, Acey!" Evelyn yelled, excited. "We gotta try this out!"
"Huh? Try wh- Ahh!"
Unfortunately, his question went unanswered as his girlfriend quickly pulled him out of his seat and upstairs, leaving the bartender by himself. For some reason, however, a small smirk was seen on the man's face as he was cleaning a glass. Within a few minutes, a variety of sounds were heard from upstairs, making the man shake his head in amusement.
"It may or may not function as a love potion, Master Ace." Rashaad said, speaking to no one in particular.
"Just like it may or may not also function as an aphrodisiac..."

Nadya's Thoughts on Kumamoto Division
Tumblr media
Aoba Yamamura
"In the grand experiment of society, Aoba Yamamura is a fascinating subject, embodying the dichotomy of order and chaos. As a librarian, he is the custodian of knowledge, a role that demands meticulous organization and a reverence for the structured accumulation of human understanding. Yet, beneath this façade of tranquility, he harbors a volatile reactivity, akin to a latent chemical compound awaiting activation. His nocturnal alter-ego 'Bluefire' is the manifestation of an exothermic reaction, releasing energy in the form of societal upheaval and destruction."
"From a scientific standpoint, Aoba's actions could be seen as a response to external stimuli, a psychological entropy driving him towards disorder as a means of coping with past traumas. His targeting of Chuohku-related edifices aligns with a hypothesis that his behavior is not random but rather a calculated reaction to perceived injustices. As a fellow traveler on the path of vengeance, I can't help but observe his methodology with a certain degree of professional interest, noting the precision of his 'experiments' with the same rigor I would apply to my own research. However, unless his actions intersect with my objectives against Chuohku, he remains a variable outside my immediate purview."
Kunio "Kurome" Chōten
"The younger brother of the leader of Aoyama Division, Tomi Chōten. Unlike his older sibling, he presents an intriguing case of social defiance. His rejection of Aoyama's elitism and his subsequent self-exile reflect a deliberate thermodynamic shift from a state of high potential energy to one of kinetic activism. His transformation from a privileged heir to a theatrical revolutionary is a reaction to the catalyst of familial betrayal, a process I find more compelling than the predictable stability of his brother's socialite existence."
"In the context of our shared enmity towards Chuohku, Kunio's desire for retribution resonates with my own objectives. His dramatic flair and strategic use of illusion in rap battles suggest a complex character, one who understands the power of perception and influence. His renouncement and his quest for revolution in Aoyama earn a measure of my admiration. His actions, though not directly aligned with mine, contribute to a larger pattern of disruption that could be advantageous."
Natsume Kurome
"Natsume Kurome, the aforementioned Kunio's husband. He is an enigma wrapped in the guise of an artist and fortune-teller. While his artistic contributions to Kumamoto are undeniable, his secondary occupation as a seer of futures is, from a scientific standpoint, less credible. As I mentioned before with Chinami Chinen of Ota Division, the notion of predicting the future through tarot is antithetical to the principles of empirical evidence and reproducibility that govern scientific inquiry. Such practices, often reliant on Barnum statements, cannot withstand the scrutiny of the scientific method."
"However, despite my doubts about the veracity of his fortune-telling, Natsume's influence within Kumamoto and his role in Strange Magic cannot be overlooked. His partnership with Kunio and their shared vision for revolution suggest a strategic mind at work, one that understands the power of symbolism and narrative in swaying public opinion. In this light, Natsume's 'supernatural abilities' may simply be a tool for cultivating his persona and furthering his goals. It is a tactic I can appreciate, even if I don't subscribe to its mystical underpinnings."
Strange Magic
"Strange Magic is a collective that, despite its eclectic composition, has demonstrated a unified front in the pursuit of revolution. Their selection of 'Phantometals' as a technological advancement aligns with my own scientific endeavors to innovate and disrupt the status quo. While our relationship is not one of camaraderie, there exists a mutual respect born from recognition of each other’s capabilities and the acknowledgment that our respective goals may converge on the battlefield of change."
"The team's diverse backgrounds: from Aoba's dual life as a librarian and a terrorist, Kunio's theatrical rebellion, to Natsume's artistic and fortune-telling pursuits, they all create a multifaceted force. Their individual stories weave together to form a tapestry of resistance against common adversaries. It is this very diversity that lends them strength and unpredictability, qualities that I find both strategically valuable and scientifically intriguing. Our collaboration on 'Phantometals' is a testament to the potential of interdisciplinary innovation, and while we operate independently, the resonance of our objectives cannot be ignored."

Chinami's Thoughts on Kumamoto Division
Tumblr media
Aoba Yamamura
In the tranquil stillness of her home, Chinami prepares for the ritual of divination. Her son Jin plays quietly in the corner, his innocent laughter a gentle melody in the background. The room is dimly lit, save for the soft glow of candles that cast dancing shadows upon the walls. Chinami’s sisters, Kira and Taria, are elsewhere, their presence felt but not seen, allowing her the solitude necessary for her practice.
She sits at an aged wooden table, worn smooth by years of use. Before her rests the crystal ball, an orb of mysteries waiting to be unveiled. Chinami takes a deep breath, centering herself, her thoughts clearing like the sky after a storm. She reaches out, her fingers brushing against the cool surface of the crystal, a conduit to the lives of those she seeks to understand.
With a final glance at Jin, a silent promise of protection and love, Chinami takes a deep breathe and lets the visions come to her. The crystal ball becomes her window to the souls of the team known as Strange Magic, each member’s story ready to unfold beneath her perceptive gaze.
"Yamamura Aoba."
The Past: Chinami’s crystal ball reveals a childhood where the seeds of Aoba’s complex relationship with fire were sown. The burn marks from his mother, the nurturing guidance of his father, and the tragic loss that followed are all etched deeply into his being. His father’s death, a catalyst for Aoba’s descent into darkness, ignited a flame of vengeance that led him to exact retribution on those responsible. These events, coupled with the betrayal and manipulation he experienced in his youth, fractured his world, leaving him to seek solace in the destructive beauty of flames.
The Present: In the present, Aoba stands as a man of duality. By day, he is the custodian of knowledge, a librarian whose love for books is a fortress against the chaos of his emotions. By night, he dons the mantle of 'Bluefire,' where his pyromania becomes an outlet for the pain and instability that threaten to consume him. His acts of terrorism, though a cry for stability, are a dangerous dance with madness, a temporary balm for the wounds that time has yet to heal.
The Future: The future holds a precarious balance for Aoba. The crystal ball shimmers with the potential for healing or further descent into turmoil. His leadership within the Kumamoto Division offers a glimmer of hope, a chance to channel his tumultuous emotions into the art of rap. Yet, the threat of his mind’s complete fragmentation looms large. The path ahead is fraught with challenges, but also opportunities for redemption and the possibility of finding peace amidst the ashes of his past.
Kunio "Kurome" Chōten
"Chōten Kunio."
The Past: The crystal ball reveals a young Kunio, born into the opulence of Aoyama, yet feeling the suffocating grip of its expectations. His spirit rebels against the shallow values of the upper class, seeking authenticity among the streets and the arts. The ball shows the strain between Kunio and his brother Tomi, a bond tested and torn by the actions of their parents. His exile, though painful, becomes a liberation, leading him to the vibrant stages of Kumamoto and the companionship of Aoba and Natsume.
The Present: Chinami's crystal ball now focuses on Kunio's current life, where his vibrant persona as the 'smiling nobleman' captivates the hearts of Kumamoto. His love for the performing arts is not just a career but a declaration of his freedom from the shackles of Aoyama's elite. Yet, this same passion fuels his alter-ego 'Hollow,' a shadowy figure who seeks to dismantle the very foundations of the society he despises. His actions, though veiled in secrecy, are driven by a deep-seated need for retribution—a response to the betrayal and abandonment he felt at the hands of his family.
The Future: Peering into the future, the crystal ball reveals a path of both light and shadow for Kunio. His role in the Kumamoto Division alongside his closest allies, Aoba and Natsume, offers a chance for redemption and the creation of a legacy far removed from his birthright. Yet, the ball also shimmers with the darker hues of revenge, suggesting that his quest to settle scores with his family, especially his brother Tomi, may lead to a dramatic confrontation. The future is uncertain—will Kunio find solace in his art and companionship, or will the ghosts of his past compel him to a final act of defiance?
Natsume Kurome
"Kurome Natsume."
The Past: The crystal ball reveals a childhood marked by vivid dreams and premonitions, a gift that sets Natsume apart from an early age. His mother’s teachings of the tarot and his father’s encouragement of his artistic pursuits shape him into a multifaceted individual. Yet, this same gift becomes a burden when his mother succumbs to madness, an event that leaves a deep scar on Natsume’s heart. His journey through the world of art and his embrace of fashion and paganism are steps on a path to self-discovery, leading him to find solace in the expressive freedom of the performing arts.
The Present: In the present, Natsume stands as a beacon of beauty and mystery in Kumamoto, his store ‘The Pandora Box’ a haven for those seeking art and foresight. His flirtatious charm and enigmatic aura draw people to him, yet it’s his kindness and protective nature, especially towards Aoba and Kunio, that truly define him. His talent for reading people serves him well both as a fortune teller and an artist, his work reflecting the depth of his soul.
The Future: The future is a canvas awaiting Natsume's brush. The crystal ball shimmers with the promise of artistic triumphs and the deepening bonds of love and friendship. Yet, it also holds shadows of his past actions, the poisoner ‘Semiramis’ lurking within. His role in the Kumamoto Division, alongside Aoba and Kunio, is a chance for redemption and the creation of a legacy that transcends the pain of his history.
Strange Magic
As always, Chinami lays each of the 52 cards in her deck face down, preparing to let destiny decide which card will determine the true face of each member of this strange, yet intriguing division. Within a minute, three of the 52 cards are flipped face up, revealing them.
Aoba Yamamura - The Tower: For Aoba, ‘Bluefire, the card drawn is The Tower, symbolizing upheaval, the revelation of deeper truths, and the breaking down of existing structures. His life has been marked by dramatic changes and disruptions, much like the lightning that strikes The Tower. This card also represents a potential for enlightenment and liberation following a period of chaos, mirroring Aoba’s transformation through his trials.
Kunio Chōten - The Magician: The Magician is chosen for Kunio, representing resourcefulness, power, and the ability to manifest one’s desires. Kunio’s theatrical flair and his capacity to captivate audiences align with The Magician’s mastery over the elements. This card also signifies the convergence of the spiritual and material realms, reflecting Kunio’s journey from the constraints of his upbringing to the freedom of the stage.
Natsume Kurome - The Star: For Natsume, The Star is the perfect match, a symbol of hope, inspiration, and serenity. It reflects his role as a beacon of beauty and artistic talent in Kumamoto. The Star also represents healing and renewal, which resonates with Natsume’s recovery from his mother’s attack and his subsequent growth into a beloved fortune teller and artist.
The High Points: Chinami sees the good in each member’s life. For Aoba, the high point came after the darkest period of his life, when the loss of his father and the subsequent spiral into chaos nearly consumed him. His rebirth as ‘Bluefire’ marked a turning point, where he channeled his pain into a force for change, leading him to take the helm of Strange Magic and find a semblance of purpose amidst the turmoil.
Kunio’s moment of transformation occurred when he was exiled from Aoyama. This event, though initially a source of pain, became his liberation, freeing him from the constraints of his birthright. It allowed him to fully embrace his passion for the performing arts and eventually led him to find love and companionship with Natsume and Aoba, solidifying his role as a key member of Strange Magic.
And lastly, Natsume’s turning point was the tragic loss of his mother, which propelled him into a journey of self-discovery through art and fortune-telling. Opening ‘The Pandora Box’ and marrying Kunio were milestones that not only showcased his talents but also brought stability and love into his life, fortifying his place within Strange Magic.
The Team's Future: As a collective, Strange Magic’s destiny shifted when they came together to form their Division. Their individual high points converged, creating a synergy that amplified their talents and allowed them to support each other’s growth. The future holds the promise of their combined strengths leading them to new heights in the Division Rap Battle and beyond. Will their revolution come to fruition? Or is it doomed to be destroyed before it ever starts? Only time will tell...

Mina's Thoughts on Kumamoto Division
Tumblr media
Aoba Yamamura
"Aoba-san? I think he sometimes works as the librarian at the Academy. I'm not sure if he was a former student, but he is very knowledgeable about the books we have, and seems to know where each one is. I've spoken to him occasionally, but usually it's just to say 'hi' or 'hello'. Despite his quiet appearance, I've noticed he can be assertive and scary when it comes to troublemakers in the library. I've seen him throw more than a few out, myself. Other than that, I don't know much about him."
...
"Huh, this guy may think he's sly and cunning, but I know the truth about him. I've spotted him on a number of occasions at night, dressed up like someone going to a masquerade ball. I didn't pay him no attention at first. But it seems everytime he is around, there is always some building going up in flames or being bombed. I don't have proof, but I have a feeling there's more to this blue-haired guy than meets the eye..."
Kunio "Kurome" Chōten
"I don't personally know this guy, but... his last name seems familiar. I'm almost positive I've read it somewhere in the newspaper or seen it on T.V. But where? ...Oh yes. His family is supposedly one of the richest families in Japan, correct? Yes, I think they are situated in Aoyama. No surprise since the place is the richest part of Tokyo. Strangely though, I've visited Aoyama, and I don't recall seeing him there. Granted, it's been awhile since I've been there, but... if his family is located there, why is he in Kumamoto? ...Ah well. It's none of my concern."
Natsume Kurome
"I don't know much about them, though Elliot has spoken about them. No surprise since they gave him something for his birthday. I hear they are a talented artist. Guess that's no surprise since Elliot is taking some paint classes so he can speak with Kureha from Saitama." Mina then sighs. "If only he could get past that shy nature of his..."
Strange Magic
"This team is new, so I can't really say anything about them yet. I won't say they're ordinary since they're far from that. But compared to the other teams, they don't seem like such a threat. Of course, I can't say anything until we've faced them. Like I said, they don't seem as dangerous as the other teams in the tournament, but I know underestimating them would be a mistake, so I'll just wait and see."

Yuno’s Thoughts On Kumamoto Divison
Tumblr media
Aoba Yamamura-
“Aoba, Kumamoto’s librarian. As I returned to Fukuoka after checking Choten’s show, I knew I just had to figure out what Kumamoto’s team was like, It was this mental urge that kicked at me all day. So, I grabbed my computer and managed to find both the team and its members. After checking out Choten first, Aoba was next on the list. Seeing that they lead the team currently and have a library, I went onto the libraries site and ordered some books. I’m still waiting for them to turn up, But I’ll see if I can figure out more about them soon enough.”
Kunio “Kurome” Choten-
“Choten…Yes, I know him. Similarly to Mai-san, I also partake in Fukuoka locals mentioning the city of Kumamoto, Not only that, A master of mine used to live there as well. From their knowledge, The locals rumours and a small visit, I decided to check the place out. After stumbling upon one of his shows completely by mistake, That was the first time I saw him. The show was great, So I stuck around for a bit. His acting was fluid, But I can’t help but think he has some ulterior motive. Maybe I’m just imagining it, Who knows…”
Natsume Kurome-
“Kurome, Where to start. Hm, Why not here? While on my expedition to figure out Strange Magic, Kurome was the last one I looked at. I really wasn’t paying attention much to their stats, But rather their art instead. However, some of their pieces have a huge amount of detail, So I might’ve got a tiny bit sidetracked. Although, Their work is a spectacle to behold for me. I’ll have to see if I can check out more of their works sometime, Maybe even catch them in action with their 2 teammates.”
Strange Magic-
“So, these guys are an order of magicians of some kind? Wasn’t truly expecting that. They appear to be magical and such, But I’m not seeing anything much else here. Yes, They represent Kumamoto city and are loaded with tricks up their little sleeves…That’s all I’m really getting though. I don’t necessary check out every single team, But even teams like MIHANASA, Literally also representing Fukuoka I knew practically nothing about. I’m starting to wonder if I should get my memory checked out or something.”

Criss's Thoughts on Kumamoto Division
Tumblr media
Aoba Yamamura
"Aoba-sensei is a really interesting person! I often see him in the school library, just reading or helping out the other students. He's really popular since, like Keiko mentioned, a lot of students have been going into the library more often cause of him. I actually saw one girl try to ask him out on a date, but he declined. I felt really bad for her, but students shouldn't be dating staff members anyway, I think. But besides that, I think Aoba-sensei is an interesting guy, like I said! I'm always glad when he's in the library since he always supplies the best haunted serials!"
Kunio Chōten
"Chōten...? ...Oh yeah! It's the name of the rich family from Aoyama with the rich, angry guy. Is this his younger brother? If so, he looks a lot nicer than his older brother. Granted, I don't know him very well, but I hear he's a stage magician, kinda like 'Queen Card' from Minato. If so, I'll have to go see him perform sometime!"
Natsume Kurome
"Though I don't take any art classes, I really like Kurome-sensei! Why? Cause, like me, he's also interested in the paranormal. In fact, he's actually recommended me some pretty interesting places to go in Kumamoto to investigate! One of which is one I'm going to explore next weekend: the Old Sashiki Tunnel! I can't wait to see what it's like!"
Strange Magic
"I really like this team! They already had my interest with their team name, and I can't wait to find out more about them in the D.R.B.! ...I wonder if they are fans of my YouTube page? I can't recall having seen a notification that they subscribed, or a post from them. If they aren't, I'll have to extend an invitation for them to watch one of my videos sometime!"

Alexis's Thoughts on Kumamoto Division
Tumblr media
Aoba Yamamura
"The second of Nellie-san's sons, if I'm not mistaken. I must admit, when I saw that he and Eden from Hamamatsu shared the same last name, I thought it was merely a coincidence. For one thing, the two of them couldn't be any more different personality-wise. Eden, from what I've observed, seems to revel in being surrounded by people, while Aoba prefers to be by himself, most of the time. I guess this coincides with their professions; Eden is a performer, while Aoba is a librarian. I wonder how Nellie-san is able to raise the two of them as a father. But I suppose parents must be used to differing personalities when it comes to their children."
"...Speaking of fathers, this may just be my imagination, but... I can't help but feel that Aoba reminds me of someone. But when I served in the army, and even now during my time as a CIA agent, I heard about an infamous bomber who was feared, both among the enemy and his own allies. His epithet was... "The Blue Wolf", I believe. ...I may be wrong, but... I see a lot of similarities between that man and Aoba."
"Nobody is sure what happened to the Blue Wolf after the war. After a particular conflict, he just... disappeared. Nobody knows what became of him. ...As I stated, I see a lot of similarities between the two. It may just be a coincidence, but... something tells me I'll need to keep a close eye on this young man..."
Kunio "Kurome" Chōten
"The first thing that struck out to me about this young man was his surname. 'Chōten', if I'm not mistaken, is the name of a rich, noble family situated in Aoyama. Plus, I believe there was another young man in this tournament with a surname just like him. ...Is it possible that the two are siblings? If so, then I have to wonder why the two of them are on opposing teams? Besides that, I don't see anything untoward about this young man."
Natsume Kurome
"The last member of this team. He seems to be a painter, but Ivelisse tells me he also runs a shop for mystical items and such. I have no knowledge or real interest in that sort of thing. Aside from that, he seems to share the same surname as the previous member, Kunio, meaning the two of them must be married. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Like his husband, I've nothing untoward to say about him."
Strange Magic
"A team of... peculiar individuals, particularly Aoba. I'm not sure what their reasonings for entering the D.R.B. are, but... for some reason, I get the same feeling that I got from Eden in Hamamatsu with them. I don't want to think that these three are up to something, but... if it is something that could threaten either my mission or the safety of Japan, then... perhaps I should talk to one of them to figure out what their endgame is..."

Note
It was later in the day as the sun was beginning to set in Aoyama and Tomi Chōten had just returned home from yet another event thrown in his honor. Thankfully he had a while to himself before he had to go to another one. It was barely even nightfall and the socialite was already exhausted from gala after gala. Sadly, Tomi knew his duty as a member of the esteemed Chōten family. His parents would expect nothing less than perfection from their heir.
Tomi shook his head not wanting to think of that today and opened the door to get ready for the night when to his surprise he saw sitting elegantly right on his bed a small wooden music box with gold and green accents. Immediately Tomi scowled angry that he was unaware that he had gotten another gift as none of the servants had told him.
Tumblr media
Picking up the gift, he looked around it to see if there was any sort of card or letter letting him know who had sent it but there was unfortunately nothing. Signing Tomi decided to just open it perhaps the note was inside?
As soon as he opened the box in his hand, it began to play a familiar but insulting tune. For seconds the box continued to play the song as Tomi grew angrier and angrier at the insult. Slowly the song began to fade away until…
“Happy Birthday Bastard”
Tumblr media
With that, a small nozzle popped up from the music box spraying Tomi in the face with a white mist. Dropping the music box Tomi began to cough violently ignoring the bang as the box fell on the floor. Collapsing on the floor the socialite grabbed at his throat wondering if he had been poisoned. It felt like he could barely breathe and Tomi swore that he could see something clawing at the corner of his eyes. While all of this was happening, the music box began to play an all too familiar voice.
“Hahaha! Happy Birthday Fucker. Did you really think I wouldn't give you a “gift” this year? Oh, you’re stupider than you think. Now you’re probably wondering if you're dying am I right? Sadly not today. Shame. However, that gas you just inhaled? Makes the victim hallucinate their worst traumas and fears and you just got hit with a dose strong enough to last oh a few hours. So sit back bitch and enjoy the fucking show! Ta-da~!”
An hour later...
"...Is Master Tomi still in his room?" A servant carrying a tray with a bowl of soup on it asked Hino who was busy ordering the other servants around. "I was going to bring this to him in hopes that it would make him feel better."
"I feel it would be better to leave the Young Master alone for now," Hino suggested. "I know not what the vile spray was that he was poisoned with, but it left a dire impression on him."
"...I see." The servant said, a bit downtrodden.
"However, what you can do is help me notify the Japanese Police Department and them sent to Shizuoka to arrest the wretched woman for almost killing one of the most noble people Japan has ever seen." Hino ordered, a stern and serious look on his face.
"...At once, sir!" The servant saluted before running off, still managing to keep the liquid broth in the bowl from spilling over. As he ran off, the Head Butler looked up at the stairs, a worried look on his face.
"Master Tomi..."
In Tomi's room...
The man in question was sitting at the desk in his room, no longer suffering from the effects of that horrid poison he was "gifted". ...However, that didn't mean he wasn't still reeling from what the poison showed him. He was currently staring out in front of him, a blank look on his face.
There were a lot of things Tomi didn't care for in life. Failure, disappointing his parents, having people talk about him, cheap liquor, peons, peasants, and many, many other things that he didn't care to think about.
...But none of those things held a candle to what he feared the most... the day he failed to stop his brother, Kunio, from leaving because he was too scared and pathetic. The day he was exactly what most of the world thought of him: weak.
He remembered how they used to play together, creating imaginary worlds with their dolls and action figures. Kunio had always been the more imaginative one, coming up with elaborate stories and characters. Tomi had admired his brother's creativity, even if he didn't always understand it.
But as they grew older, things began to change. Their parents' expectations weighed heavily on them, and Tomi found himself conforming to their demands, desperate for their approval. Kunio, on the other hand, rebelled against the rigid structure of their high society life. He sought solace in the company of middle-class friends and street performers, much to their parents’ dismay.
Tomi remembered the countless times their parents had berated Kunio, calling him a disgrace to the family. They had tried to mold him into something he wasn't, and when he resisted, they resorted to humiliation and psychological abuse. Tomi had witnessed it all, but he had remained silent, too afraid to stand up for his brother.
He closed his eyes, the memories flooding back with painful clarity. He saw Kunio's tear-streaked face as their father dragged him out of Tomi's room after one of their many fights. He remembered the look of betrayal in Kunio's eyes when Tomi had refused to intervene, choosing instead to obey their parents' commands.
The day Kunio was excommunicated from the family was etched into Tomi's mind like a scar. He had watched helplessly as his brother was cast out, labeled an "unwanted child." Kunio had left with his head held high, refusing to look back, but Tomi knew the pain he carried inside. He had wanted to reach out, to apologize, to beg for forgiveness, but fear had held him back.
"Ahh!"
Clutching his head once more, Tomi shook his head, trying to make the memories go away, but they still persisted. His brother's look for help, his parents' disapproving looks.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
The young socialite continued repeating the words, as if they were a mantra, as if they would exclude him from his guilt, his weakness. But they did no such thing.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry, Kunio..."
