Liberty Guild Character Playlist

Yup, I decided to jump on this bandwagon, as well. Honestly, I'm a bit shocked that it's taken me so long to make a playlist for Blade Maiden and Liberty Guild considering both divisions are several years old.

Liberty Guild House Aesthetic

— Liberty Guild

All of Liberty Guild live together in Eagle's Nest, a jazz bar owned and ran by the team's third member, Rashaad Young, who inherited the bar after his mentor sadly passed. After the hotel Ace Douglas and his girlfriend, Evelyn Rose, were supposed to live in was renovated, they were invited to live in Rashaad's bar, who invited them upon hearing of their situation, which started a friendship between the foreigners and the bar owner. The bar is one of the most popular in Japan, not only due to its calming and relaxing atmosphere, but also because of the 'no aggression/neutrality rule' that Rashaad has in place, which allows enemies from all divisions to meet, provided they leave their problems at the door.

Day in the Life: Liberty Guild

Ace's job is that he is the official U.S. Diplomat to Japan, a thankless task appointed to him by his father, the current president of the United States. His job, more or less, involves him working to establish an amicable relationship between the two countries. For his work, he receives a stipend every two weeks. Despite his disliking for the country, he does take his job seriously, and has been doing his best to ensure that America comes out on top in this arrangement. It's just a shame that he isn't aware that his father simply sees him as a tool to use until his plans come to fruition...

Evelyn works as both an actress and a model. She was already famous in her country of America. But after hearing that her boyfriend, Ace, was heading to Japan, she decided to join him in hopes of boosting her reputation in the east as well. And though being in a new country has been an experience for her and it hasn't come without its share of surprises or drawbacks, she truly enjoys both her job and the country of Japan.

Rashaad is the proprietor and sole bartender of his bar, The Eagle's Nest. Having inherited the bar from the man who took him in when he first arrived in Japan, Rashaad quickly turned the bar around, transforming the place into one of the most drinking establishments in all of Japan. With an ear for good music, hands that can create any drink, and the rules he's set into place, it's no wonder that people from near and far visit his establishment.

Kind of fitting that it's in the last round since weddings are kind of the ending of one chapter, and the beginning of a new one. ...Sorry if I'm sounding philosophical. Like Master Ace, I'd like to go for an outdoor wedding. It doesn't necessarily have to be on the beach, but I'd like it to have a... Puerto Rican theme to it. Just to show where I'm from and how proud of I am of my homeland and heritage. I probably wouldn't wear something like this, but I think a robe can be as nice as a tuxedo."

"Not to sound like a broken record, but I'll be glad when this pageant is over with after this. Like Kyler mentioned, I'd leave the whole wedding process to Evelyn since she already knows what we both want. We plan to have a wedding on the beach, or somewhere outdoors, around noonday when it's cooler. Like I said, I'm looking forward to it."

"Yeah, but still! They've had him, like, in meetings since before the party even began! You think they'd, like, be done with it by now!"

"I know, but... ah, wait, here he comes now."

"...Hey, guys."

"Finally! Like, I was worried those ladies would, like, keep you for the entire party!"

"Trust me, Eevee, I didn't want to be there anymore than you did. I deal with those women almost on a daily basis. To have to deal with them at a party that they're hosting is even worse."

"...That does raise a question, though. For what reason, are they hosting this party?"

"Who knows? Probably just their way of showing off their dominance. My father was known to do things like this from time to time long before he became president."

Finally, Rashaad got a chance to showcase his saxophone skills! He hopes in the future he'll have more opportunities to do so! This was a really fun album!

Though Ace would have preferred just a duet with him and Evelyn, he has to admit, Kyler did pretty well on their song with the three of them.

And yet… just what was this that was delivered to Ace Douglas’s house?

Or rather, they’re cedarwood-scented soap bars… in the shape of coal…

No hard feelings, kay? I probably would’ve given this to anyone I’m assigned to! :P Ridiculous present aside, by all means, do stop by my office if you ever feel the need to. If papers cover it, my door is always open.

Ace looked at the lump of coal, a cocked eyebrow present on his face. He picked one of the lumps up, still staring at it, as if trying to comprehend just what he was holding in his hand. What exactly should he do with this? Should he toss it in the garbage? After a minute of this, he shook his head, dumped the coal back with the rest of them and walked off, still shaking his head. As he did, only one thought was present in his mind.

"It's like my childhood all over again..."

As Evelyn's birthday comes to a close, I'd like to thank all those who sent her a birthday gift, both on today and yesterday. I apologize for getting to these late. My computer, unfortunately, is broken and I'm having to borrow, either my mother's or sister's. I've ordered a new one and it should be here soon, hopefully before or on Christmas day.

With Evelyn's birthday at it's end, this ends all of my OC's birthdays for this year. Thank you everyone who helped make my OC's feel appreciated!

Evelyn is seen in her room, sitting in front of her vanity mirror, talking to someone on her cell phone. Her boyfriend, Ace, is asleep on their bed, softly snoring. The former cheerleader's face, thankfully, has cleared up after using the dubious products from a certain model's heinous and uncalled for gift. She smiles and bids the person she is talking to farewell, before ending the call. She then looks up at the camera.

"I gotta say, this birthday was, like, not at all what I expected. I knew I was well-liked, but after seeing all the, like, gifts everyone gave me, I'm just... well, liked, shocked. I'm glad to know everyone here in Japan, even if some of them are, like, a little odd. But I think that's what makes them all, like, unique. I like them all, and... I know Acey and I won't be here forever, but... when we leave, I'm going to, like, seriously miss all of them."

"I guess I'm, like, trying to say, thank you to, like, everyone who went of their way to make me feel, like, appreciated. It was really, like, sweet and nice! Thank you all!"

Suddenly, the smile on Evelyn's face is replaced with a dark glare.

"And also, to that petty, spiteful bitch from Saitama, and you know who you are, don't think you're going to get away with trying to ruin my modeling and acting career, you bitch. You may think you've gotten the last laugh, but I promise you, I'll be the one laughing the hardest, you wanna-be me."

Suddenly, groaning is hard from Ace's bed as he sits up, still tired.

"...Eevee? What are you doing?"
