So many stupid and funny gifts for our fun-loving hypnotherapist! Thanks a bunch, everybody, for participating in Anika’s birthday event, it’s great to see that she’s so loved! I definitely got a good laugh, and Anika clearly had a good laugh!

Onto the next birthday, which, will be for Miku Shirazuki from @minato-division03 ! Thanks again, people of the internet!

“PUHAHAHAHAHA! I look back at all the gifts I got today and whew! My belly hurts from laughing so much! Sigh… oh my gosh, honestly, who needs luxury gifts when you can get a stomachache from a good laugh! And hey, laughter is just free therapy, am I right?”

With a smile, Yuuya Kanata closed the letter that had been taped to the outside of the package that had just been delivered on his front doorstep.

Last he remembered, he had been curious about the uncanny similarity of his and Kiyozaki-san’s eyes. The package that was now sitting in his living room brought it back to his attention.

Shaking his head with a smile, he peered into the package that was delivered to him.

Inside was a—

What the heck?

Inside were multiple goose statues, the beaks being magnetic and able to hold various items such as keys, knives for the kitchen, and several more.

Let it be known that if there was anything the hypnotherapist of Akihabara loved, it was gag or prank gifts.

“Woah, look at what got here human! Are you going to adopt these lovely goosey goosey ganders?!”

Exclaiming excitedly at Anika’s presents was ANGE the high-definition digital girl who was now floating on Yuuya’s television screen.

And as if the previous awkward moment between them had never happened, she let out an airy giggle, drawing a soft smile from the birthday boy who was now busy bringing stuffs he got from townspeople into his living room.

“Goosey, you say? At first I thought they were ducks. But welp, these two birdies are way too similar. I can’t really differentiate them from one another.”

Joking a bit about the goose vs duck paradox, Yuuya was just returning home from his personal errand to deliver presents to other divisions.

Because much to one’s surprise, there were few acquaintances who were coincidentally sharing the same birthday with him. However, he didn’t expect the townsfolk to give him this many gifts during his way back home. It was always very nice of them; his hometown’s people, their hospitality had never failed to make him feel touched ever since he was a lot younger. And that was one of the reasons why he had tried so hard to keep his hometown unscathed from whoever’s exploitation.

Hot and humid, the first summer draft was slipping through the balcony and bringing along the warm and woody scent from his father’s room to his senses.

And even if today was meant to be the longest day of the year, now looked like the sun had been shifting lower and lower toward the horizon.

Suddenly swarmed by emotions, the birthday boy gazed at the distant evening sky that bore the same shade as his eyes.

…That’s right, his birthday used to be so lonely since he usually spent it alone mourning. But somehow this year was shaping up to be a bit different.

His smile softened as he could hear his chatty companion explored each of his presents with sparkling enthusiasm.

“Tee-hee, couldn’t believe that the meme ANGE stumbled upon on the internet one day would be actually brought to life! This lady you called Kiyozaki-san has got a great taste! Humans sure are being creative~”

—And well, he was glad to see her being back to her energetic self again.

Earlier she seemed to be oddly quiet that he felt somewhat frustrated she might be mad at him. Together with Ojou-chan, she had always been the liveliest voice in his home.

“Oh. And to think about it, Kiyozaki-san did tell me to give her a visit sometimes too. Hmmm, perhaps I should drop by her clinic whenever I get a chance to go around Akihabara…”

From what extent he knew about this Kiyozaki-san beside her being the leader of Pixel Syndicate was that she had been once a high-rise racer but now turning over to become a specific type of professional therapist after suffering grave injuries from a certain accident in her past. What’s more? She was also the current guardian figure to Setsukura-san, one of his underclassmen at his old school! So, that was probably why he could feel the mature-ish comforting vibe to her despite her rather mischievous streak judging from her choice of gifts.

And while there might be some barrier of communication in between them according to her partial loss of hearing, this couldn’t make him less interested in learning more about sign language.

Still, Kiyozaki-san’s motive in joining the D.R.B. remained quite unclear to him.

Though her background sounded like she was a fame seeker in the past, some part of him believed she was also exhausted with all that stuff as she had changed into her new career to help people, hence she might as well have another reason to sign in this suspicious tournament aside from seeking either its prize or glory… Actually, it would be a blatant lie that the majority of participants did join it without some kind of hidden agenda —He himself even had one of his own.

But if you ask him what about her that caught on his curiosity the most, the answer was undoubtedly her eyes: the sunset color, the unique scheme he had never seen anyone with this same shade so far except…

His sister, his nice and kind nee-san whom he had never seen in years

And damn it, before he could grasp a hold of his emotions, his sickening nostalgia began to striked up. He was well aware that Kiyozaki-san was obviously different person from his sister, yet she strongly reminded him of her.

His nice and kind nee-san… Just where are you now?

There were too many things he was always yearning to hear from her but sadly never got a chance to.

…How has she been up to this present? Is her new family being nice to her? Is city life that great compared to here? Is there anything she wants to tell him, her only little brother? Any story she would love to tell like she always does when they were young? Or literally, any, anything. Or at very least, he wanted to ask her if she perhaps got bored of his calls… Also, what about mom? Has she… even smiled more than when she was still with him?

A stream of feelings stirring up inside his chest, the sunset gleam in his eyes wavered like a fickle light dancing on the ripples. But before he got more indulged into his own turmoil, Yuuya sharply inhaled.

…Nah, just kidding, there was no time for him to be sad.

Thinking as such, the boy who had now grown older as a young man wiped the evidence of his emotions off the corner of his eyes and stood up.

…His clubmates had just called him that they were gonna throw a karaoke party for him this dinner. Hi-chan was also attending. That old man was probably not coming, but he was already grateful for him to keep his promise on sponsoring his education up to this present. And on top of everything, he was finally graduated and now was one step closer to his dream. Therefore, he should be happy. He had got to be. There was no way he wasn’t… He wasn’t a lonely little brother who was in need of some pampering anymore.

Suppressing his pathetic self deep down the bottom of his heart, Yuuya let out a long sigh. He still had a project needed to be done anyway, and yeah —This must be the best way to keep himself distracted for a while.

However, unbeknownst to him,

A pair of bright red eyes were kept watching after his back with a bewildered look…

Odd…

The day was just minutes away from turning over. So Elliot’s birthday should be as good as over…

And yet here was the delivery man with another package on Setagaya’s resident animal-lover’s birthday.

Elliot quietly thanked the delivery man and brought the package inside, setting it gently on his kitchen counter.

Taped to the top of the cardboard box was an open-faced letter, addressed to him in neat little scribbles.

“Happy Birthday!

Haven’t gotten to talk to you in a while, Shimizu-kun! I hope that’s a sign that things are going well for you. You can always shoot me an gmail if you feel you need someone to talk to. But besides that, I hope your birthday has been treating you well. I got you a little something. After all, what’s a birthday without presents, right? Teehee~

Inside were crochet stuffed animals, each holding onto small little cards with positive affirmations. The little scribbles, Elliot recognized to be the hypnotherapist’s handwriting.

The affirmations, written in Anika's own hand, spoke of support, courage, and the unstoppable spirit within. Elliot felt a surge of gratitude for this gift that seemed to understand him so well. It was more than just a collection of stuffed animals; it was a hug in physical form, a tangible expression of care from someone who, despite the distance, was thinking of him.

He stood alone in the quiet of his kitchen, the soft hum of the refrigerator the only sound accompanying his thoughts. He held the crochet animals gently, their yarn bodies a testament to Anika's thoughtfulness. A smile tugged at the corners of his lips as he read the affirmations once more, each word resonating with a warmth that filled the room.

"Thank you, Anika-san," he murmured to the empty room, his voice barely above a whisper. "These… these mean a lot to me." He set the animals down, arranging them carefully on the counter, their presence a comforting reminder of the day’s kindness. He made a promise to himself to read these each day before he left the house, a promise that they would help make things inevitably better for him and his siblings.

Hours remained until the special day that is Ayumu Hayami’s birthday would come to a close.

And yet a new package had been delivered to Ayumu’s household. Peaking his curiosity, he took it and brought it with him inside the house.

It was when he set the it on his living room table that he noticed a little open-faced letter taped on the side of package, words written in neat little scribbles.

“Happy Birthday!

From me to you, I’m wishing you a joyous birthday. That’s all I have to say, hope you’ve had a great birthday so far, mister.

Inside the package were two mugs. Two very… interesting mugs.

Ayumu burst out laughing as he saw the mug. Though he quickly tried to silence himself not to wake Sara as he just put her to bed for the night. He had always enjoyed silly little gifts like this than some of the more extravagant gifts he'd been given over the years by the vultures known as the upper class. Every time he got one, it felt hollow like they barely put any thought into the gift besides making it obscenely expensive. So the mugs were a great change of pace even if Ayumu was going to keep one of them hidden if only so Sara didn't ask what the word “bastard” meant.  

“Anika-san huh? I gotta remember to thank her next time I see her.”

“Hey cousin! It's your birthday today, isn’t it? Why don’t you guys bring Makina out and we can all go get something today?”

Fuck that.

Anika gripped her phone tightly to the point it almost shattered in her hands.

It took me almost a year trying to get you guys away from Makina, like hell I’m letting you anywhere near her.

And there’s no way in hell you’re coming anywhere near me.

Anika sighed and flopped face-first onto her bed, her face meeting the fuzzy green blankets and not giving a care in the world that she was still in her work clothes.

Oh my god, I’m so tired… she thought, keeping her face planted onto her mattress.

The phone that had been in her hand vibrated again, and she dragged her hand back, taking a look at the latest message she’d received.

Makina: ‘Didn’t you come home just now? I thought we were all going out tonight.’

Yes, yes, I know, Anika grumbled in her head.

She had been dismissed from work early that day. Most would be elated at the thought of getting to leave work early. But for Anika, even on her birthday, there was still much to do.

So much to prepare in so little time…

With a groan, she pushed herself off her bed and headed for Makina’s room, her high heel foot attachment to her prosthetic leg making her waddle awkwardly. Though she couldn’t be bothered to remove it only to have to put it back on shortly.

She quickly clicked on Makina’s chat room and typed in her phone.

“Is it safe for me to enter?”

Anika waited in front of the shut door for any potential reply from the streamer who freeloaded in her apartment.

Well…

No reply from Makina was more than enough of a reply.

“I’m entering, then,” Anika said as she opened the door and entered.

Snuggled up against her pillow fort made up entirely of plushies on her bed was Makina, who’d look like she had been caught off-guard and had been coughing up a storm, a cloud of vape smoke escaping her mouth.

Anika crossed her arms. She sighed and shook her head. “I can’t stop you if you don’t want to, but you’re not going to be doing that again when inside the house,” she said as she signed.

Makina’s coughing fit died down and she sat upright, her mouth appearing to be moving.

She was clearly speaking…

But to Anika, it was all empty motions.

She tapped on her own ear.

Makina clicked her tongue and began typing on her phone which had been faced down beside her on the bed. She began mumbling under her breath as she typed away.

She flipped her phone screen around and showed it to Anika.

“you ready to go now?”

Anika began typing on her phone.

“I mean I still have my prosthetic on so I’m ready. We’ll just all meet up at the restaurant so we can head out if you’re all set”

“I was waiting for YOU. Btw this came in for you today”

Makina took a letter that had been sitting on her bedside table, handing it to her guardian.

Anika took one look at the seal over the envelope and her stomach sank.

A hot pink seal in the shape of an inverted triangle.

The seal of the Party of Words.

With an irritated click of the tongue, she carefully tore through the envelope and silently read the contents of the letter addressed to her.

Makina placed a finger over the top of the letter, tilting it her way to read the contents of it, despite the characters being upside down from her view.

“‘You are cordially invited to the gates of Chuohku Division…’” Makina murmured the rest of the letter. She picked up the envelope again and inside was a single VIP pass. “So in short, you get a whole VIP room to yourself so you can watch the Division Rap Battle live…”

Anika crumpled the letter in her hands. “Hah… is this her sick idea of a joke?”

Makina blinked. “Whose idea?”

Anika dropped her hands. “Your great-aunt’s.” She formed the crumpled-up letter into a taut ball and tossed it into a nearby rubbish bin. She watched as it bounced off the rim of the bin and landed perfectly on top of the stack of empty energy drinks inside. “My mother.”

Oh…

Right… back when Makina was still under her adoptive mother’s care, she had heard about the relative who was a high-ranking official within the Party of Words. What title she held, she’d long forgotten.

Though she had passed it off as if the relative were distant, she didn’t even consider the possibility that the Chuohku official was immediate family member.

“I… I didn’t know that was your mom…” Makina signed carefully as she whispered.

“Well, I’ve never exactly mentioned it,” Anika signed back as she spoke aloud. This is a whole new level of low…

Makina hummed, distracting Anika away from the mention of her own mother. “So are you going?”

“I don’t think I exactly have a choice, but what’s the point? I’m deaf.”

“But you go to concerts all the time.”

“To support the artist, I can’t actually hear the music. Plus it’s not like I really have any division I’m rooting for.” Anika sighed. “Look, I’d have you go in my stead since you’ve been curious about the hypnosis mics and you like music and all… I just don’t know how Chuohku would feel having a substitute go.” She hung her head down and narrowed her eyes.

Besides…

If this is all just to be a new way of rubbing it in my face that I’ve failed your embarrassing little family because of the accident and my retirement…

Then you really are pathetic…

But I know you better than anybody else, mom…

What is it you really want from me…?

What is it about me that you keep coming after…?

Anika chuckled, casting her thoughts aside. “I’d prefer it if I were given two more tickets so you guys could join me too, at least you two would be have fun.”

Makina rolled her eyes, though in more of a teasing manner. “Probably. Like you said, what’s the point of you going?”

Anika chuckled at Makina’s little attempt to lift the mood.

Makina had been under her care for the past nine months or so. It had been a task and a half trying to make the young girl feel comfortable in her new home without pushing her out of her comfort zone.

Her heart had been entirely shut off and refused to let any new people in.

The concept of ‘family’ had been warped to her.

Can’t blame her… Anika thought. After going through a number of awful parents, she probably doesn’t have room left for a new family.

And I’ll bet anything that the things I know about you are only surface level…

And yet, here Makina was, teasing her back in her own lazy, deadpan way, she started learning sign language to communicate with her appointed guardian…

Little by little, the girls seemed to become more open to her new life. She was still adjusting, but it was a start.

Let’s keep this atmosphere going, then, hm?

“Hey, Makina…” Anika said carefully.

“What?”

Anika rubbed the back of her head sheepishly. “So you know I’m not really the most fashion-forward…” she signed slowly.

Makina swiveled her seat around to fully face her guardian. “Damn straight,” she signed back.

Dammit child, you’re not supposed to agree with that so easily—

Anika sucked in a breath and took Makina’s tiny hands in hers.

Makina looked down at their hands, the silver metal around Anika’s left ring finger feeling cold around her skin.

Anika smiled cheekily.

“Could you come with me tomorrow to finalize on my wedding dress?”

Ax’s gift for Anika

The crisp November air of Akihabara kept Ax at ease. Internally, his blood was pumping, and the heat radiating from his body kept him pacing. He was anxious. He looked at himself through the reflection of one of the windows to the building he was hesitant to enter.

I should wait…he thought to himself. What if she doesn’t like it? He clenched his fists.

“This was a stupid idea!” He barked in frustration. People walking by shifted themselves to avoid getting too close to the heavily melanated— and strikingly blonde man who appeared to be nervously patrolling the medical building.

Ax scowled in irritation at the obvious discomfort he was causing to passersby. His expression changed when he saw the jovial face of his awaited accomplice, who handed him a medium sized, glittery purple gift bag with beautifully assorted shades of purple tissue paper.

“Thanks bro” Ax said to the courier, who smiled from ear to ear saying, “Thank Anaia!” And immediately burst into a quiet fit of laughter.

“Stop being so loud! You’re drawing attention to us’ Ax scolded, “I need you to go in and see if she’s in there. Let me know if the coast is clear asap”.

Ax watched as his mischief partner disappeared into the building. He waited nervously as he contemplated what he was about to do. He didn’t want to upset her, or to make her feel uncomfortable at their next session. He had been waiting for this day to give his therapist a birthday gift.

Before long, Ax was given a signal from his young associate, and he quickly took action. He hurried into the building and, and as if by automation, found himself in front of her office. Staring at the doorknob he had opened so many other times before, his outstretched hand became heavy, and his face began to drip beads of sweat.

Using his sleeve, he quickly wiped his forehead dry and furrowed his brow and stiffened his lip with a force of masculinity.

Stop being a little pussy! he ordered himself.

Get in there and just leave it and go. And with the command of his own mind, Ax quickly opened the door to the office of Anika Kiyozaki, the renowned hypnotherapist of Akihabara. He walked across her spacious and plainly decorated office, over to the sleek white desk.

A x gently placed the gift bag onto the desk, and closed his eyes and inhaled deeply.

“I hope I don’t regret this…”

Anika threw her head back, laughing hysterically as she eyed the silly little items she set on her desk. “I can’t really keep the mug and candle around the office because of the swearing, but they give a good laugh!” she managed to sign in between laughter.

She dragged the crystal desk ornament and black desk toy in the shape of a brain closer to her. “But these’ll bring a smile to the next clients! You didn’t even have an appointment today, but you still brought presents anyway, thank you so much, Ax-san!”

Once her laughter died down, she carefully studied the structure within the inverted triangle-shaped glass, not at all noticing the subtle flush over Ax’s cheeks.

“This candle is gonna be my new motto, it should be how I introduce myself from now on!”

“That’s probably a bad idea…”

“You’re probably right… but hey, it’ll be funny~”

The sun had long since set on Akihabara, and Anika Kiyozaki was the lady of the hour today. It was her birthday and she was going to spend it with the people she cared about. Speaking of, Makina walked into the room a gift in her hand.

“Hey Old Hag. This was dropped off for you.” Makina stated, handing the gift over to the hypnotherapist who took it and quickly began to open it.

Inside the gift was a variety of things such as a candle, chapstick, a bath set, socks, earrings, and even a jersey. However, what they all had in common was the fact that they all seemed to be after Mtn. Dew Baja Blast. Not to mention the actual bottle of the drink inside the box as well. Seeing a card with the gifts, Anika picked it up and began to read.

Happy Birthday! Hope you're having fun today. Won’t lie. I thought this gift was funny, but I’m running on 1 hour of sleep and an oreo, so that probably ain’t helping me. Anyway later girlie I'm off to terrorize a few countries! 🤪

A sinister smile crept up Anika’s lips. “Hey, Shian…”

The redhead, who had been settled on Anika’s couch with an entire cake platter on her lap. She glanced up at her team leader with a forkful of cake in her mouth.

“Could you do me a favor and hunt down that Kaoru Shinozaki and bring her to my clinic? And tell her it’s for a mandatory appointment—”

Shian immediately shook her head ‘no’.

“Why not?!”

Shian silently swallowed the dessert. “How many times have you made me capture her and drag her to your clinic. And for what?” she said as she signed for Anika to understand.

Anika snickered and signed back. “You don’t think it’s funny? I think it’s hilarious that the woman she lives with is doing all she can to kick Shinozaki-san’s caffeine addiction. Besiiiiides it’s all one big joke~”

She plopped on the couch next to the redhead.

“And better yet, I think flooding her house with packing peanuts isn’t nearly enough, don’t you think so?” Anika teased.

“Didn’t Yuriko Kuromiya come over herself and threatened Makina…”

“Sureeeee…” Anika shrugged. “But is that really gonna stop us?”

Shian rolled her eyes and eyed the stack of Mountain Dew… merchandise.

“You’re not actually going to wear all these, are you…”

“Why not? I’ll look fabulous.”

“You’re ridiculous.”

It was getting late into the night in the bustling city of Akihabara, only a few hours left until the end of a certain hypnotherapist's birthday. Speaking of which, Anika Kiyozaki was just peaceful sipping on her tea when a tap on her shoulder brought her out of her thoughts, turning around, she relaxed when she saw that it was just Makina holding an assortment of gifts, most likely more presents sent to her for her birthday.

Anika smiled at her charge and nodded at her to place the presents on the table where she had set her drink, Makina did so and promptly decided to leave after doing her "job", most likely to hold back up in her room.

Anika looked at the three gifts laid out in front of her with wide, curious eyes before grabbing and opening the one she found most interesting.

The first and second gift opened to reveal...

...A book of useless information. Literally. That's what the title said. Along with a...tortilla blanket...?

It feels like forever since I've seen you! I admit that's my fault, I've been so busy that I haven't really had time to myself or call in for an appointment, my apologies, but I hope you're having a fantastic day and that my gift would pull a laugh out of you, who knows, you could always impress your clients with some of these facts! Hopefully the blanket will keep you as warm and snug as a tortilla this winter season.

“BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!”

Anika stared at her reflection through her full mirror, taking in her so-called ‘lazy girl’ ensemble.

She had bundled herself up in her new tortilla blanket like she was a human burrito and was squishing the life out of her new horrendously adorable cat plushie.

“I look ridiculous, this is incredible!” she managed to squeeze out between laughter.

The door to Makina’s room swung open, causing a rumble throughout the apartment. The vibration caught Anika’s attention and try as she might, she couldn’t get her laughter and wheezing to die down.

“FOR FUCK’S SAKE I CAN HEAR YOU FROM MY ROOM!!!!” Makina hollered at the top of her lungs.

But Anika didn’t hear.

Or more accurately, she couldn’t hear it.

Though she did have her guesses as to what Makina had said. She wiped away a tear that had pooled at the corner of her eyes. “Oh my god, I’m dying…!”

She sighed in relief as her fit of laughter finally died down. She sucked in a breath as she glanced over the cover of the new book she received. “I need to thank Miyuki-san and Murray-san when I see them next… when’s my next appointment with them… oh! I see Murray-san on Monday, at least! I think she and I will have a blast going through this dumb book before the hypnosis!”

Andddd, at long last… The chill wind of late November has flushed through the ever buzzling afternoon of town announcing the super special day of Akihabara’s goofy hypnotherapist.

And as Anika was wandering out of her room during a small break before the last session of her day, she then saw her receptionist waving at her like he was having something to show her.

“Good thing you are here! Earlier the deliveryman has dropped some parcel addressed to you!”

Then the large box was slided to take a stop in front of the confused hypnotherapist,

…Oh right, today was her birthday. It must be some of her clients again, how kind of them to send in some gifts for celebrating with her.

But, somewhat the name of its sender was catching her eyes —Looking like this mysterious gift was from a certain boy who lived in Nara.

Eh… And what in the world would that boy send to her this time?

Knowing this boy’s whimsical sense of humor sometimes, she was kinda curious of what was packing inside this box. Hence that’s why she was going to discover it here and now.

And soon the mischievous presents were exposed to her sight…

Not only a goofy refresher candle was laying there to salute her day, there were also a bunch of comfy-sized pastries loaded in to fill her birthday party… But, oh well… They were all made of fluff and were in no way edible despite how realistic they looked.

As soon as the mailbox on her phone was opened, for whatever reason, the speakers in her entire clinic were starting to play the jovial tunes in unison

And from here on, the super special Happy Birthday Song exclusively arranged for her was echoing in her clinic…

Even if she can’t fully hear the whole thing, she could still see from her peers’ expressions that this song was no way an extraordinary one—

Horrified by what was presented to her, her coral eyes travelled back and forth between her phone and her interpreter in the room.

She had no idea what she was supposed to be hearing.

However the video playing from her phone was more than enough context clues.

Her interpreter, Kataoka, had sprawled out on the couch in the office and covered her face with one of the pillows that was shaped into loaves of bread.

Anika jumped up from her seat and ran over to her. “Why did I have to go deaf before I got to ever hear this song?!”

Kataoka kept the pillow over her face. “That’s what you took from that?!”

“No, but look! I see all over the internet of people getting Rick-rolled! But I have no idea what the song sounds like or what I’m missing out on! I know the meme but I’ll never know how funny it is!”

“You’re really not missing much…” Kataoka muttered through her swift sign language. “Okay, enough about the fucking rickrolling, what’re you gonna do about the other presents you got?”

“Well, the candle’s for me to keep, I don’t think it’ll be okay for me to keep that in the office around patients. But I think the younger kids especially will love these pillows during sessions.”

“I’m an adult and I love these pillows.”

Anika snickered.

“You’re right. I love them too. I need to thank that Yuuya when his birthday rolls around.”

As Anika Kiyozaki was relaxing in her home, having noticed her work was cancelled for her birthday, an unexpected package arrived at her doorstep, complete with a tiny decorated box and a note attached to it.

Who could this be from?

Taking the box inside, she decided to read the note first.

“To Kiyozaki.

You might not know much about me [Well, you probably might…], and I’m sorry if this made you “uncomfortable.” But anyway…I hope you like it. I’m trying to meet new people across all these divisions [Even if my image surrounding my own team is a bit much], so I hope we can meet sometime?

She picked up the light-up sign and studied it.

Guess you can never have enough lights around the house for a deaf person.
