Mostly, she dreams of the sea. No, that is not it — the sea is dreaming of her. The sea comes first, primary, realer than real. Galadriel’s mind is only a shallow mirror of its depth. She moves in its wake, dragged by the rhythm of its tides, in and out, in and out of sleep. Her sleep is the sleep of old things — of stones and trees and unnamed beasts — never fully resting, never fully awake. She floats on the tide of some forgotten song. Galadriel knows that there is great work proceeding all around her. The months have stretched since the death of Ost-in-Edhil – since the birth of Imladris – and there is always work and life proceeding just at the edge of her reach. But it moves at a pace she cannot match. Once, Galadriel knows, she was too fast for her fellow elves, too hot. Running quickly, running blind around the slow morass of other Noldor minds.  She doesn’t feel like that any longer.  Ever since her fall – since the wound, the healing – Galadriel has lain mostly cold and dormant. She can only relate to others in brief moments of respite, when their own pace slows down to meet her.  Mostly, she is alone.

I guess what I find most funny about the 'She should call off the wedding because of Colin's entrapement line!' crowd is like. . .y'all really don't get Penelope at all, do you?

She has loved this man for YEARS. She's loved him through his engagement to someone else, she's loved him through him saying he wouldn't court her, she's loved him through multiple countries, through her family mocking their closeness, through a potential marriage to a Lord. She loved him so much she couldn't even DENY having feelings for him to save what she thought was her only chance of getting married. Do you know how easy it would have been for her to go 'No, we're just friends, I don't like him like that, you're proposing to me and that's what matters'? She couldn't denounce her feelings for him even THEN. Even when she doesn't think he reciprocates them and she's made peace with a life with Debling and is expecting his proposal. Colin was *always* first in her heart, through all those hurdles.

Because Colin has been kind in a cruel world, and he's made her laugh, and he encourages her confidence and he's warm and he's gorgeous and he centers her and he values her and he listens and makes her feel desired and beautiful. He's a good man, and her love for him makes her feel good, she treasures it. Even in the books she says it feels good to love a good person, whether he loved her back or not. And now she knows that he does and you think one line that Colin says in obvious hurt after finding out she's been hiding a secret persona for him is enough to shake that love? She spent what? Half a decade looking out her window pining for him and now on the eve of getting to live a life with him as husband and wife, she's going to chuck that away because of one sentence? How lowly do you think of her? How *stupid* do you think she is? To throw away the love of her life over what? Her pride? This fandom's OOC Fanon Pen is a disservice to Penelope's actual character.

Her love for Colin is steadfast. It's made of tougher stuff than all that. It has survived everything that has been thrown at it. Distance, other people, Portia. And y'all really, truly believe that a singular statement will make her go 'Naw, I don't want it anymore!' PUHLEASE. Even when she offers him that annulment, you KNOW she knows it's not on the table.

Stop playing. OF COURSE she didn't call off the wedding. Of COURSE she chose to understand where he was coming from and went 'I didn't mean to trap you, Colin, I love you'. Of course she asks what the marriage will be and is comforted by the fact that he still wants to go through with it.

Penelope Featherington has loved Colin most of her life. It has been one of the few constants in her existence. He has been good to her in said existence, consistently. He's listened, he's cared, he's apologized to her, he's taken ownership of his actions, he's invited her to be more open, he's joked with her, he's supported her, he saw her when she was invisible. She. Loves. Him. And for good reason.

It's not going away because of one line. Or two. Or three. Come back next time when you actually understand her.

Danny keeps telling heros his tragic backstory buts just ripped from an old game no one really remembers that he liked. That or an old cartoon he watched as a kid.

Example: One day I just woke up and had this strange pink mark on my leg. I was freaking out but then started noticing all this stuff I could do. All of a sudden I liked fish? And these men would keep popping up and telling me I had to fight monsters. Telling me i was picked for it. I got this neat pendent though.

The league have no idea hes bsing them. But eventually he keeps getting closer and closer to the characters story that someone will figure it out. And I like to think it’s Redhood or Flash and no I wont explain why because if you know you know.

Bonus points if Danny switches it up like once he finishes telling the characters full backstory. Maybe it can become a game with him and the others. Who can guess his reference the fastest. Batman is not amused

If you ever caught Kid naked in shower he would not even blink an eye. He would just look at you and get all smug and smirking "Enjoying the view?"

Kid would shamelessly look you up and down and then ask if you wanna join in. Depending on how far your relationship is he might try to pull you in with him.

Kid would enjoy making you flustered and watch you squirm. But he would get shy himself if you try to take over the situation and push yourself against him and let him feel you. He would blush but no way he is letting you get the upper hand.

Might turn steamy with him since I believe he is horndog.

Law

I imagine Law would be taken aback for a second before asking "What are you staring at?" Because he is such a tsundere!

Would try to sneak a look at you. He would not admit he is checking you out until later in relationship. In that case he would enjoy the view.

Law would enjoy a good relaxing shower with you where you wash each other's back and hair without turning it into something sexual. He would like it if you took your time spoiling each other and exchanging few slow and soft kisses.

Thought he would not be opposed into venturing into steamy territory.

yay to @brynnmclean for keeping WIP WEDNESDAY going!!!! im very happy to report i have been continuing work on my saurondriel wip - here's one of my favorite scenelets, anyway these two are going to kiiiiiiillll me <3

“You are less of a man than you pretend to be,” Galadriel says.  “You mean I am a monster.”  What else could you be? Galadriel bites her own cheek to keep back the words, but perhaps he can hear them, anyway.  They are rooted near opposite ends of the ship, several yards apart. Neither makes a move to broach the distance.  “I won’t let you leave,” he calls, with an attempt at ease.  “So I’m your prisoner?”  He laughs. “Which one of us is sentenced to live in a cell?”  Emotion is bubbling up into Galadriel’s throat. “And what have you taken from me?” she cries. “What loss will I be forced to bear when I return – years of my life, sacrificed to your desire?”  “I saved your life!” he says, and the sound rattles the very boards of the ship. “Maybe you’ve stolen the years out of me.”  “Maybe I have!” she screams, too proud to deny it.  The heavy gray clouds that gather above the ship are starting to disperse, half-pierced by lances of golden sunlight. Galadriel watches a wave crest and dissipate, white peaks spiraling into nothingness. The water looks somehow lighter – more blue, less gray.  The emotion in her throat finally releases, all that unspent desire, all that hopeless longing exorcising itself like a putrid wound. It comes out in a burst of laughter, high-pitched and manic. Laughter at the farce of this place, this ship – this man who is a monster who is her lover. Her dearest ally. Her oldest foe.
