"Seems like you still have sides of you that I haven't seen before. Please, show me all of them."

while lounging around with jihyun you decided to put on one your playlists, you didn't realize it was one that you didn't organize until it was too late, an heavier song made its way on the queue list, startling the both of you, jihyun jumped slightly in his seat breaking him from his daze, you apologized and quickly went to switch it, but he stopped you, holding onto your hand as he took in the song longer, he pulled you into him, his chin rested into the crook of your neck as he continued to listen, the more he listened the more the lyrics drew him in, helping him heal parts of him that he didn't know needed healing, you spent the rest of the day showing him your favorites, "There's something about these lyrics... Would you mind showing me more songs from this band?"

saeran was used to hearing you listen to your favorite kpop artists on repeat, and even went with you occasionally to pick up the newest albums and such, what he didn't expect was for you to be also in metal, when you played your music while in the shower, he could help but pause in front of the door listening in to the song playing, he asked you about it when you were finished, you were a bit embarrassed but he quickly followed it up with he actually liked it, even though he was shocked, he was also pleasantly surprised, especially since he wasn't a stranger to this type of music, he used to listen to it often, "I didn't know you also liked this type of music. You should have told me... I would have showed you some of my favorites."

JAEHEE KANG: was your voice of reason, as much as she loved seeing you happy over a silly mug she knew when enough was clearly enough, after your cabinets were 60% of just mugs she intervened, she bargained with you to only get a mug when it was a special occasion, though sometimes she'd spoil you with a surprise mug, those were always handmade and very cute, she'd make one for herself too so you'd match while having your morning coffee together

JUMIN HAN: he was the worst person to be by your side when having an collecting addiction like this, he was your number one enabler, you want that mug? not an issue, that rare mug is 10k? ordering it right now, he'd also get invested in all the cat ones and would show you them, having no space wasn't an issue, being the executive director at a prestigious company gave an upper advantage, would buy you another cabinet if you needed it

SAERAN CHOI: doesn't really get it but supports you!!, he wouldn't say anything at first or think anything of it, it wasn't until he opened your cabinet and one fell (he apologized so many times), you knew your collection was quite much but you really didn't want to just stop, saeran came up with the smart idea of turning your old mugs into succulent planters, if you'd buy a mug you'd have to turn one into a planter, it was a win for both of you and allowed you to share a hobby with saeran, in his own saeran way

SAEYOUNG CHOI: would lovingly make fun of you for it, and when your cabinets started getting cluttered, he'd hold a little intervention for you, you tried to convince him that you did need all of these mugs, he wasn't buying it, in an attempt you'd challenge him that you wouldn't buy any mugs if he wouldn't buy any more cars, the thing about saeyoung is that he lives for challenges like these, you two had a bet on who would break first, you both tried to tempt each other by showing off rare cars/mugs to the other, the bet went on for a good while, none of you wanted to lose, saeyoung was eliminated but not in the way that you expected, instead of buying a car... he bought you a mug, he bought you a silly long cat mug after having a series of rough days to cheer you up

V / KIM JIHYUN: he'd have a hard time saying no to you buying a mug, seeing you so happy and bright just because of a silly mug was so warming to him, he just loved seeing you happy because it made him happy, however your mug collection was growing out of control, while cooking one night with him you asked him to hand you a measuring cup, he opened multiple cabinets to just mugs, he'd eventually found it but asked you if you'd consider donating your old ones, you were hesitant, you loved your big collection but it was getting out of hand, you ended up agreeing and went the next day to multiple thrift stores and charities to donate, you did ended up taking just a few home that were there, but doing something nice for the community with v was a big highlight

VANDERWOOD: didn't understand why you needed a mug with a silly image inked onto it, he couldn't wrap his head over why you can't just use a plain mug, you tired to explain that it enhances the overall experience of having a warm drink, wasn't convinced, tried to convince you to cutdown but you just kept saying you didn't have an absurd amount (you did), he'd eventually give in and ignore it, but seeing you so happy over something so insignificant made him happy, not that he'd mention or say so (tsundere moment cough), later on you'd begin to find random mugs in your cabinet, you were certain you'd never bought them though they were very cute, you'd ask vanderwood the next time he was around about them, he'd deny ever bring them there and just say you must of forgot buying them, you knew that wasn't the case, the only possibility was he would sneak them in, and that he would, he'd take note of you top favorites and bring you one similar

YOOSUNG KIM: yet another enabler, like everyone else he loved seeing you happy, it didn't help that his main love language was gift giving, on top of all the mugs you'd buy yourself, he'd get you four more, he'd also be a big fan of cute matching mugs, after telling him that your cabinets started becoming full of just mugs, he offered to keep some at his place for when you come visit, but soon his cabinets begin to be mostly just mugs, you had to come to your senses or else the both of you would be buried in so many mugs, you combed through your collection together, getting rid of ones you were okay to part with, yoosung was a little sad to part ways with your mugs, even if you kept all the ones he gifted, he was so used to gifting you mugs it was almost an routine, he had to find the next little thing he'd gift you

ZEN / HYUN RYU: he thought your obsession with mugs was very cute, he'd even gift you a couple when he could, if he was working he'd ask production if they had any mugs with the logo of the project he was working on, even if you were cute about it he knew he had to tell you to hold off just a little bit, your collection was starting to eat the kitchen cabinets, you had him help you talk yourself out of buying mugs whenever you two went out, that was easier said than done, he'd see your eyes light up with pure happiness and bliss whenever you saw a mug you liked, he'd try to remind you that you were holding off but whenever you looked at him it broke him, he'd see your loving puppy dog eyes (even if they weren't intentional) and debate on just this one, that mostly turned into one mug each time you both went out, in zen's books at least it was better than nothing

She had lots of celebrity and fictional crushes and can get quite... imaginative, but the thought of being intimate with a real and attainable person without being super close? Far from appealing. The whole concept of dating before getting to really know each other, blind dates, people meeting to just "hook up" or pursuing someone only because you want to sleep with them? Separating friendship and relationship and even treating the former as something less? It all put her off and confused her. Do really most people operate that way? For her, the perfect idea of a relationship is friends-to lovers trope and that's what she wished for in her own life.

She considered being demiromantic as well, but she had romantic feelings for people she wasn't close with (very few, but still); they did go away fairly quickly tho, as opposed to crushes formed after friendship.

Regarding her potential partner's gender, she has slight preference for masculinity but honestly, doesn't care much. She doesn't label her preference nor romantic attraction.

decides to adopt a shelter dog, somehow manages to find the most gorgeous dog to ever exist

probably a big breed. I’m imagining a husky!

dog does not leave Zen’s side. when one moves, the other moves. they have the exact same mannerisms. It starts to get a little creepy

he posts so many goddamn dog pictures (mostly selfies with his dog tbh)

insanely active and that only increases after he adopts a dog. he posts 90 Snapchat stories per day of the two of them hiking

as for the dogs personality… well, it’s just like it’s owner ^^^

being the practical gal she is, jaehee adopts a large dog for safety reasons since she lives alone

it wasn’t an easy decision. she was worried that her work schedule would impede her ability to provide a dog with proper care.

but when her work life finally settles down (by some miracle) she finds herself unable to relax

she’s spent so long dealing with work and people that she doesn’t really know how to be alone with nothing to do

she honestly found most of the dogs at the shelter quite overwhelming. Until she spotted a large mutt, curled up in the corner of its cage and eyeing her with calm, observant eyes

she initially decides to foster the dog and see how things go

she takes her time making the dog comfortable and gaining its trust until it finally comes out of its shell

eventually they are inseparable

the dog likes to lay its head silently on Jaehee’s lap while she works

he hires a full-time dog nanny who gets paid more than most of the country (after a VERY intense hiring process)

Yoosung’s dog does not like Saeyoung.

His dog may not be able to make its owner less gullible, but it sure can shoot death glares at Saeyoung when he’s playing a prank

(Saeyoung notably only pranks him over text now)

He’s reluctant at first to get an ESA

butttt while he’s being dragged on one of Saeyoung’s (many) visits to the animal shelter, something catches his eye…

It’s a puppy!

It’s a very small puppy

And it’s alone :(

A shelter employee explains that she’s the runt of the litter, and has some health problems as a result. Her mom and siblings were all adopted but she was left behind

….

So Saeran has a dog now

Even Saeyoung doesn’t DARE even thinking about teasing the puppy… he has enough survival instincts

Cautious to let other people handle her… she’s so fragile

And she’s shy at first.

There’s a solid month when they are physically attached to each other. You see Saeran? dog is sleeping contently cradled in his arms

Saeran is still having trouble opening up to people, but if you pass his door at night you can hear him speaking gently to somebody…

She grows and grows until she doesn’t look so fragile anymore. She starts becoming curious about the world around her

And…(fuck, Saeran thinks) she really likes Saeyoung

Saeran will not leave dog. Dog wants to play with her uncle. Saeran is thus forced to spend time out of his room.

He wants to be upset about it, but he just can’t be negative, seeing her play so happily…

He goes to Starbucks solely for the reason of getting a pup cup

She loves playing with other dogs, so dog park visits become a regular. And damn- dog owners are so social. Surprisingly, Saeran doesn’t mind too much.

Eventually Saeran starts to open up to the rest of the world too
