Imagine you live in a tiny coast town in idk fucking Georgia or something. Everything is fine and dandy but one day King Charles and the Pope publicly declare war on your town because the pope told him your mayor kidnapped Prince William. Then, you remember that one guy Will who showed up like four months ago and is pretty quiet and keeps to himself and doesn't do much besides sit in the fields all day. Everyone starts searching for him to get King Charles off your backs only to realize he has completely disappeared.

This also does absolutely nothing to explain why the Pope is backing King Charles, UNTIL you remember your Mayor's DA is actually the Pope's BROTHER who ran away because he didn't want to marry some random royal person he didn't know. Little do you know, that the rando royal is actually Prince William, who has been kidnapped for real this time- by the pope- but is being held in an underground bunker in the okefenokee swamp.

Anyways, you're trying to figure how the fuck your town of maybe 300-ish people is going to fight the british navy and fucking spanish inquisition. The mayor, handling this remarkably well, makes two phone calls. The first to the Mayor of Washington DC, who is lending you the national guard since your mayor saved him while he was being held captive by an anarchist terrorist group one time. The second is the governor of Louisiana, who agrees to lend some humanitarian aid because your mayor walked his daughter home after she got lost on a chicken farm once. Then, the pope decides to pillage and raze the fuck out of Louisiana, partly because they were offering to lend aid, but mostly because the pope knows the governor's son is your mayor's side piece.

Now, your tiny town is full of the national guard and 20,000 cajuns that are simply itching to terrorize some monarchists. Also that bishop that you were pretty sure was just spying on your town comes in and denounces the pope and offers to fight for your mayor. Lastly, your mayor meets King Charles and the Pope at the town limits, and the mayor, ever wanting peace, offers to marry the pope, who takes a confusingly long time to say no.

Then the battle happens and your army of the national guard and 20,000 cajuns absolutely rock their shit before things start to turn for the worse and just when all seems lost Prince William shows up and absolutely decks King Charles in the face, throwing such a legendary haymaker hard enough to be heard throughout the whole battle, ending the fighting instantly.

The Battle of Phoenix Drop was fucking wild.

Random assorted Zenix MCD headcanons because he's my son and I love him:

He did actually see Garroths face before. Only once, within the first year Garroth took him in. He was young and got sick, Garroth was treating him. Zenix, wracked with fever, was confused and scared to see a 6"4 huge guy faceless in armor. Garroth took off the helm to calm him down and stayed with him till the fever broke. Zenix doesn't remember this.

Told Gene he wished he'd been there for his execution because he would've brought popcorn (he would've been 7)

You know how shadow knight can like summon swords when theyre in their shadow knight form? They can form any weapon, but most people pick swords since yaknow Guard training thats what they know how to use. Zenix is the only shadow knight who will reform his weapon into a different one mid-fight. He doesn't fully know how to use all of them, but it makes him such an unpredictable fighter that it doesn't matter. What he lacks in years of skill he makes up for in taking advantage of guards years of being conditioned to expect sword and shield fighting.

Went looking for garroth once the nether was free again.

Started on my Divine Warrior symbols, or sigils, for my MCD rewrite. I’m quite proud with them, so I’ve decided to show them off and talk about them in my rewrite :)

The Divine Warriors consist of; Irene the Creator, Esmund the Protector, Shad the Destroyer, Enki the Keeper, Menphia the Fury and Kul’zak the Traveller.

Irene the Matron

Lady Irene, or Irene the Matron, is the founder of the Devine Warriors. She’s the creator of dimensions and is the embodiment of life. She was the first person with godly abilities to appear. She holds the abilities to heal, restore life and hold the memories of all those whom have lived. She’s the Goddess of Creation, Healing, Light, Childbirth, Reincarnation, Fertility, Motherhood, Leadership, Marriage, Beauty and Love (platonic, spiritual, familial, romantic, emotional, mental and sexual). I feel like she fits in with the Greek Goddesses Aphrodite, Athena, Hygieia, Gaia and Rhea. Her relic gives the holder the ability to summon light and heal, as well as basic dimensional manipulation and time manipulation stuff. Like going into other dimensions and turning back or forward time.

Shad the Destroyer

Shad the Destroyer, is Irene the Matron’s lover and her opposite. He’s the destroyer of dimensions and is the embodiment of death itself. He was the second person with godly abilities to appear. He holds the abilities to destroy dimensions, break through dimensions and move or otherwise affect physical objects with the mind (telekinesis). He’s the God of Destruction, Death, War, Chaos, Decay, Disease, The Nether (the underworld) Despair, Change and Insanity. He fits in with the Greek Gods Perses, Thanatos, Hades, Ares, Phthisis and Dionysus. His relic gives the holder the ability of telekinesis and enhanced strength, as well as more enhanced versions of the abilities shadow knights hold, such as shadow and blood manipulation.

Esmund the Protector

Esmund the Protector, is considered to be one of the closest to Irene the Matron. Esmund is protector of dimensions and mortals. He was the third person with godly abilities to appear. He holds the abilities to create spiritual and physical protection bindings, enhance strength and see visions. He’s the God of Protection (physical, spiritual, mental), Nature, Strength, Peace, Freedom, Justice and Prophecy. He fits in with the Greek Gods Soteria, Pan, Kratos, Themis and Apollo. His relic gives the holder the ability to create spiritual and physical protection bindings, see prophecies and visions and enhance their strength and become more durable during combat.

Enki the Keeper

Enki the Keeper, is Irene the Matron’s friend and keeper, whom also writes the scriptures. Enki is the keeper of knowledge and wisdom, on a range of subjects. he was the fourth person with godly abilities to appear. He holds the ability to gain knowledge of things or events through means other than the five senses, control the weather and preform magick without learning it over a period of time (it takes years to perfect it). He’s the God of Knowledge, Wisdom, Magick, Clairvoyance, Weather, Inventive, Intelligence and Language. He fits in with the Greek Gods Apollo, Coeus, Hecate, Tiresias, Zeus, Hephaestus and Hermes. His relic gives the holder the ability to gain clairvoyance, preform magick and manipulation of the weather.

Menphia the Fury

Menphia the Fury, is another one of Irene the Matron’s friends, and the Divine Warriors attack strategist. an expert on combat. Menphia is the fury of the group, she’s there for the thrills and the glory. She was the fifth person with godly abilities to appear. She holds the ability to start and control fires with the mind, come up with efficient attack strategies and tactics, and use almost any material to a weapon. She’s the God of Fury, Glory, Strategy, Fire, Combat, Celebration, Pyrokinesis, Creativity, Feminine Rage and Warfare. She fits in with the Greek Goddesses Lyssa, Aglaia, Athena, Hestia, Laetitia and Charis. Her relic gives the holder the ability to gain pyrokinesis, enhance their strategic thinking and enhance their creativity abilities when it comes to thinking outside the box, or finding materials to create weapons. 

Kul’zak the Traveller

Kul’zak the Traveller, is another one of Irene the Matron’s friends, and the Divine Warriors navigator. Kul’zak is basically a map. He was the sixth person with godly abilities to appear. He holds the ability to navigate, shapeshifter and to control and manipulate plants, water, earth and rocks. He’s the God of Navigation, Earth, Maps, Animals, Transportation, Shapeshifting, Plants and Geology. He fits in the Greek Gods Atlas, Gaia, Artemis, Hermes, Proteus and Demeter. His relic gives the holder the ability to navigate, shapeshifter and to control and manipulate plants, water, earth and rocks.

Am I the only one who actually enjoys aaron mcd and mystreet unironicly? Sure he's not perfect but I enjoy his dynamics.

Them puppy boying him was weird and I would have preferred a different approach. The idea of him finally being able to relax and not feel the need to hide himself is what I want for him.

Should they have played fetch with him? No.

Should he get a chance to be normal? Fuck yes!

hiii here are some of my redesigns for my MCD rewrite!!! The designs are very rough and are NOT final btw i just felt like posting these sketches

+ one fun fact abt each design :

▪︎ Aph's markings can damage any cloth it touches; the only exception is her cloak. Materials such as leather and metal gain less damage, however she prefers to wear clothes that are lightweight as they complement her style of combat (lots of running, surprise attacks)

▪︎ Garroth's cape was a gift from Dale when he first became a guard of Phoenix Drop. That's why its a lot newer than the rest of his armor

▪︎ Laurance's home, Meteli, trades a lot with pirates, so their clothing and jewelry also follow a similar style. He also wears a lot of accessories such as beads and earrings but i forgot to draw them lmao

▪︎ Nana, like all other meif'wa, has eyes with cat-like properties; yellow sclera, clear night vision, colorblindness, the like

▪︎ Dante used to live in the Eastern Wolf Tribe before meeting Aph, so he wears white padded clothing for camouflage + warmth. Although i might change the design cuz i dont rlly like it

▪︎ Katelyn keeps her hair long despite it being a nuisance in battle because her siblings love to braid them when she's off-duty (also i forgot to draw her scars dammit)

something I find so funny is the amount of MCD rewrites/MCD inspired written works that are dedicated to becoming a novel in the future because like imagine ten or so years go by and booktok has evolved however it does and now there are like 300+ books about a goddess being reborn into a new world and her inexplicably gay knights. and all the MCs have an A name
