There are always chores that need to be done in a village, regardless of profession. One of which is morning duty.

Members of a village are rotated on morning patrols, where they scare off night creatures lingering in the fields, usually disorientated spiders and phantoms, or creepers trying to hunker down in the crops. More info below.

They also have the unpleasant job of cleaning up the smoldering remains of zombies and skeletons. It’s a crucial time for reporting any damage to houses, fences or golems, and any strange activity, such as missing livestock and crops. The culprits are usually benign: wild animals or misbehaving teenagers, but occasionally stranger things occur. Items and materials nonsensically relocated by Endermen, or even rarer, animals picked clean until they are merely a pile of bones and inedible parts.

This phenomenon is attributed to a vast array of folkloric monsters from village to village, but the real root are typically starving and injured players desperate enough to risk the ire of an iron golem. They need to consume large amounts of protein to regenerate severe wounds, and will enter a lethargic, trance-like state in order to conserve energy while they seek out food, impairing their judgement. They may otherwise attempt to eat inedible materials, like flour, dirt and hay, particularly if they have only spawned recently and are still in their infantile stage.

Villagers on patrol often wear brightly coloured clothing so they’re easy to spot in the fields.

if i posted a moomin fic where Snufkin explores a "dangerous area down south" and meets his dad while Joxter is looking for "his son he just learned he had" and they both explore together since Snufkin quickly realized it was him who was this man's son and was like- "lemme help.. yeah, that's what i'm doing."

they travel together and snufkin starts "growing into" his Mumrik features (2nd puberty trauma yay!!) and Joxter realized everything lines up and this is his kid.

but neither one wants to say it out loud so they bond not telling one another and assuming the other doesn't know until snufkin heads back to moominvalley and moominpapa who is so glad father and son reunited he blows the who secret up.

and they live happily ever after. kinda.

is there a demand for that?

so i feel like i can safely say that this is talking about aaron. i've gon through a list of characters who it might be and none of them feel right, Sasha, jenny, not any of the divine (why does she have that.....)

just has me thinking and i'm actually hoping this is a new character rather then a reused one.

also jason said that all the role plays were connected, so this has to prove it!

another thing,

missing girls. this can only mean good things for the plot i'm sure.

i have so much to unpack but i have to watch this another hundred times or so before i can speak it all
