I told my mum we could fit. Its cold. My cousin Moku and playing around in the rain while our mums @chickswhorip @ohanashophawaii took a family break to cheer on @legend.mananalu …and Jj Keliikoa didnt show up for heat cause his ride took him on a tour at Ke’e cause the driver never know where Pine trees was. At dinner All i could think about was at least Moku our cousins, my friend Rui girl and played- I played huki logging footage for photographery on location class, so mum shot some @hsfkauai @milokauai contest. Mum got scoldings by Kelii - she usually checks in and if she stopped she would’ve woken him up and he would be signed in to his heat. Uncle Jason thought uncle Skiz was joking about the contest, Uncle Jason yold mom they were heading North but we checked in and Kelii was still in bed by the time he came North and lost at the Pier with his friends…this was Moku and I fooling around , we got over the wait. Oh Legend won. I think Mana did. One more week of Lonoikamakahiki! A whole week of Lo’i ‘ai in Waimea to Hule’ia and Papa o Wainini - Surf Skate Makahiki …The big kids now in the last about to get their brain schooled by mum in Kula Kala. Mum got uncles moving (shes a button pusher do t tell her she can’t, or she will stick it) and Aunty @pakesalmon_artist at Makaha with uncles gonna close this week @livelikesion @volcomhawaii_ . Reminded mum I had to walk the dog. I rather journal than read a book, I just started editing. Walking with Kahu, and Im not walking alone…No way, but Im not rushing mum, she ain’t budging anyway. Mum likes to walk alone slowly in the dark. Stop and wait. Stop. Go. Stop. Go. Mum has this thing about staying up late. She can stay up for hours, 3 days on a full moon and has really good smell and foresight. My uncles would agree, and Aunty said she seen a ghost and mum doesn’t even care, she laughs and said told you so…every time I here the story. She likes Staring at the sky alone if she’s not underwater, or foraging deep in thoughts mauka, ends with taking photos at night . She likes to stay near graveyards,”…closest you can get is near a body of water and grove of trees” whatever that means. I always have to tell her hurry up. She said you sound like grandpas. My uncles tell me she needs to slow down I think you have to be around her long enough to know most the time she is alone staring at things. She just likes to enjoy nature , and if she’s not joking around , she’s listening to stories of the dead. She says the crickets tell her stories, and I have to tell her to stop staying in the middle of the road. We get to grandma Carmens wedding kumu niu hookupu that are the same age as her, she says “ hi grams and hi Max.” We go walk along the reef, see family and my brother @laniakea_love resting kinolau all in his lil waa. She tells me to look at Orion in English and asks me what time is it? She’s talking about our calendar clock with Mahina. Its a decade, and transition of my brothers day to the transfer into the coming year and summer. Same place different time. We hope that with enough hands, hold the leverage and stone, we can let go his canoe safely and peacefully . If we want change, we must help the system that is bonded to us, be the solution , the mantra to our aloha is founded in hooponopono. All nations have it, it comes in many languages , yet avoided and abandoned ; let’s not it be overshadowed by others and manipulation. Those attracted to the mana given to us, our aloha; become attracted to those- my family - who have shared it with . #borrowaloha #mahalot in 10 days this lil mutu moko , booboo boss is officially 3 yrs old (original kanaka bday). Trying to keep track of everything and having less strokes myself working on memory. Just wow laulau!!! Congrats to all the Keiki who survived #HeartWeek in Hawaii and my lil brave boy, more blessings to those who make it this far that he may follow in inspiration . Mahalo to all that have supported and prayed for us and helped us lele both islands in the last 6 years, last year has been a good recovery frame. . Although he had a major seizure a week ago, he’s shown so much progression without having much internal physical traits, or consistent likeness as my siblings and I ,other than our biggest strength- versatile adaptation. We found in lab tests that this isn’t from my family genetics, but what we did learn from him is even more greater , astonishing and amazing even for someone so young , and very rare in this world - definitely not lil 2 lb anymore. As his birthday rolls on in , we want to give more than we already do , as do all our birthdays. Mahalo to all the aumakua , mini me Temana and I can finally break a little of the barrier and I hug more again as my immune system is strong enough to manage my lil pohaku ( mr. Making him volunteer . Learn to use his right hand which he favors his left. Associate pressure on pulling, and his pacifier pressure on his lips, so he can later hold his pacifier. Currently he is blind, we don't know if he can see or it's blurry all together since the clot in the #3rdVentricle is at the level of eye organs. I’m so happy to be a mom. I’ve been almost under a bus, weird documentary filming, and extreme sports , working through three almost near deaths that doctors were astonished I made it and raised a Disibility child. Forgot about today yesterday and again when I woke up. Been a god mother since my 17th years old birthday, and a physically present active one including sister mom of my own crazy siblings and social butterflies of parents. Mahalo to these 2 mutu faces who go loco moko moko...who refuse naps during the day and get wilder at bed time knowing their in moms bed just to put them down without crying. Mahalo to gamgam in the next room flying from where ever she was around the world ,for spending Mother’s Day with kids and just being gamgam for the week while I do mom and dad and normal Hawai’i 3rd generation grandparent- grandkid duties at the farms I grew up in. Just because I’m mom doesn’t mean grandpa can do it without awesome grandma and grandaunt, who needs a hand while she goes to do her thing. I have yet to pull off a good power nap and still do all the parenthood chores while dad sleeps and reads a book and goes play all day again. To all those moms- I’ll watch your kid for 3 hours , let our island coaches get you some nap time credits . Aohe kalama kukui- Lights off 4 hrs ago . This little galaxy is still with ninja back hands, doing ohm, and snortgiggling trying to burn the midnight candle. Thankfully my mini me is better on the moon clock and sets up everyone to go to bed on time without looking at the clock. Yup. Cheers to another day of motherhood.
