3170 BCE:

Iry-Hor (or maybe Iry-Ro): Pre-Dynastic Pharaoh of Upper (Southern) Egypt. His seal and glyphs with his name were found on them in the 1980s and 1990s and 2012. He is the earliest pharaoh we know the name of. He likely ruled from Hierakonpolis over Abydos, maybe up as far as Memphis. His name was found was on at least 22 pottery jars as well as at least five name cylinder seals. An inscription mentioning him was also found in the Sinai, leading credence to his being Pharaoh, which had been under contention until the most recent discoveries.

Neithhotep was a queen-consort whose name was surrounded by a serekh, which led Egyptologists to think she was an unknown pharaoh. It is now thought that she was wife to Hor-Aha and mother and co-regent to Djer, though she might have been pharaoh. She had many titles, which included "Foremost of the Women" and "Consort of the Two Ladies" (the Two Ladies being the goddesses Wadjet and Nekhbet, who were the goddesses that represented Lower and Upper Egypt respectively). Her name was found in Abydos, Naqada, and Sinai. She was buried in a large tomb that had a cultic enclosure. Her reign, along with Merineith, another First Dynasty Queen Regent and possible pharaoh, is causing Egyptologists rethink their idea that women only rarely ever reigned. She is also the first women whose name we still know.

1250 BCE:

Direct records in China didn't show up until the Shang Dynasty, making the first Chinese person we have their name written in their time is Cheng Tang, born Zi Lü 太祖. His name is recorded as Tai Yi 太乙 on oracle bones sometimes as Da Yi 大乙 and his temple name is Taizu 太祖, and is given the nickname Tang the Perfect. His rule was thought to be a good one for China and he was the founder of the Shang Dynasty.

90 CE:

The oldest name in the Americas we've found is the Myan name Yax Ehb Xook, also known as Yax Moch Xok and Yax Chakte'l Xok, founded and was lord of the Myan city State of Tikal (in present day Guatemala) and ruled around 90 CE. We only know about his reign through archaeological evidence and remembrances made by those who followed him as well as by his gpyph. His name translates to 'first step shark?'
