ROPEFISH 🥺🥺🥺 MY LOVES...

i would die for a ropefish.... in the same vein the only monster fish that I've ever put in a heart shaped locket is a birchir. they're even among the smaller monster fish so they're not THAT unattainable, i say, foolishly, longingly (and before anyone gets irresponsible ideas when i say "smaller" i mean 1-2 feet minimum lol, still a monster)

then ever since having my kribs and seeing how cool and intelligent they are, the dream cichlid is a blood parrot AND I KNOW, THEY'RE ASSHOLES, but looooook at itttt.......wawer puppy.... I'd want one in its own big tank as a wet pet

but those are the highly unlikely gets, the top of my realistic wishlist is pretty stereotypical: pea puffers 🥹

they're a perfect mix of attainable + new challenge + omg omg omg cuuuute!!!!!!! it's honestly puffers in general that i desperately wanna try, large puffers are equally adorable to me... if I'm at an aquarium they're my number 2 after arapaima, i could watch a big puffer toot around for hours. they're so visibly intelligent it's amazing!

A LIST OF ALTERNATE UNIVERSES I WOULD LIKE:

an au heavily inspired by joshua's choice of words to ultima when he said "you took me from my brother". i want that to have literally occurred. i want ultima to not just have figuratively seperated them by having ifrit rage wild and kill him- leaving the undying to find him, but actually had someone under his control find and take joshua from the rubble of phoenix gate, and keep him from clive and jill, and everyone else. like idk, maybe bro is with barnabas in waloed because of barnabas' loyalty to ultima.

i want an au where joshua was not kept by the undying from his brother and jill. i want joshua spending three or so years trying desperately to find the both of them, trying to locate where they are, and while jill is ultimately easier to locate than a branded constantly on the move, it still takes a ten year old years to allocate the resources and information he needs to track them down. hence i'm saying a teenage joshua eventually finding / revealing himself to jill and or clive and rescuing them from their predicaments. leaving them on the run from the empire/iron kingdom and living like thieves.

i want an au where joshua loses his memory after he is killed by ifrit and then revived by phoenix. i want him to not know who he is, and be raised by the undying without memory of his family, and only be referred to as "phoenix" by the undying. thus losing his identity and becoming the phoenix more than he ever was joshua. i want clive and jill to have to teach him who he is, remind him who he was, i need just... a lot bro.
