"did i do something to make you feel upset? i'm not sure of what i did, but if you tell me i'm not going to do it again, i promise" you said with a soft voice.

"It's not you, it's me y/n," he contemplated on continuing what he was going to say. his heart beating out of his chest and sweat starting to form on his forehead.

"ryuunosuke akutagawa." you sternly called out, you were serious this time. he looked up at you when you called out his full name, his eyes filling up with tears but not ready to fall just yet.

"if there's a problem, please please tell me. i don't want to be the problem and have you avoid me,"

"i love being around you, i do, i love every single moment i share with you, but i can't enjoy my time around you if you keep avoiding me like this." you explained to him as you looked into his eyes for a desperate answer.

"i just—" he paused, before taking in a deep breath. "I've been getting this weird feeling in my chest whenever i'm around you- i can't explain it." he continued.

"gin and dazai said it's love...."he trailed off.

"but how am i supposed to know what that feels like or what it is? i've never loved or recieved loved," continued feeling the tears run down his face.

"oh, ryu :(" you whispered as you brought him in for a hug. you pulled away from the hug and cupped his face wiping away his tears with your soft and gentle fingers.

"i love you ryu," you said with a gentle smile, "i'll show you what it feels like and what's its meant to be loved, but that's only if you let me,"

"Oh, hey Tachihara!" You greeted as you smiled at him.

"YOU'RE DATING Y/N????? ONE OF OUR EXECUTIVES?? this is insane, how can someone like HIM pull you?!"

"don't say that tachihara! my boyfriend is pretty the way he is! You're gonna hurt his feelings :(" you said as you pouted.

your apartment door went off and clicked. there were sounds of keys hitting the table and a coat shuffling. a pot opening and the soup filling up a bowl.

your boyfriend finally was home, your eyes fluttered slightly open to see a tall slender figure getting undressed. "...ryu?" you asked as you got up, rubbing your eyes.

"go to bed princess, i'll join you in a bit,"

Being kidnapped wasn't the ideal way to spend your Thursday evening but it surely wasn't as bad as sitting next to your angry boyfriend. He hasn't said a word to you since he barged in the room you were held in and dragged you out of the building; hailing a cab.

You were now in the backseat of the said car, a thick layer of tension between you. You could feel your boyfriend seething, lips pressed tight as he gripped the golden handle of his sword.

Jouno himself could hear your rapid heartbeats and the ragged breaths you took right before you were about to say something; but you never did. Instead, you fumbled with the zipper of your jacket and picked at the skin around the corners of your nails, the scraping sound causing Jouno to frown even more.

When you finally got home you expected him to lash out and scold you for being so careless, but ass soon as the heavy door closed behind you Jouno pulled you in a tight hug.

"I'm sorry love. I'm so sorry" he uttered under his breath as his arms tightened around your body. "I won't let something like this happen ever again."

You were completely moved by your boyfriend's actions; never before having seen him in such a vulnerable state. One of his cold hands gently caressed your cheek as he slightly pulled away from you.

"It's okay Sai. It was my fault for being so reckless and-"

"Oh shut it" interrupted your boyfriend. "It wasn't your fault, it was mine. You know they only kidnapped you to get to me."

The frown returned to Jouno's face as his eyebrows furrowed, causing a small smile to rise to your lips.

"Love" you said again as you placed a tender kiss on his lips "Let's not think about this now. All it matters is that I'm safe and we're together again. So how about we order some food and cuddle in bed?"

"Sounds good princess" replied your boyfriend as he kissed you back, his slender fingers entangling with your hair. "Just promise me you'll be more careful from now on. Cuz I sure will be."

"Of course baby. I will."

The moment Tetchou burst into the room you were held captive in his hands were all over you.

"Angel are you hurt? Did they do anything to you?" he asked in a hurt voice as he carefully inspected every inch of your body. His face was a mask of concern, eyes scanning your figure in search of wounds.

"No Hiro I'm fine" you say as you swiftly pull your boyfriend in for a warm hug, which he immediately returns.

After a few moments you can hear him sniffle against your shoulder so you pull away, your hands cupping his reddened face.

"Don't cry baby I'm fine I promise. You saved me." you soothed him, placing feathery kisses all over his face.

He looked like a sad puppy: gaze held down and slightly pouting but the sorrow in his eyes was clear as day.

"But I should've been there when they took you. I swore I wouldn't put you in any danger but I broke this promise."

"Aw Hiro. You were at work there's no way you could've stopped this. But you saved me so there's nothing to worry about anymore ok?"

He took a deep breath in as he rested his forehead on your shoulder, his strong arms snaking around your waist. "I know love. But I don't want you to go through this again"

"I won't. What are the odds that I get kidnapped twice?" you said playfully in attempt to lighten the mood but your comment ended up having the opposite effect; Tecchou's shoulder shook violently.

"Ok ok baby I'm sorry. That wasn't funny at all" you added, chuckling. "Come on let's go home ok? We both need to get some rest"

Your boyfriend nodded reluctanly and slowly straightened his back, taking your hand in his as he guided you out of the building; towards your apartment.

The light from street lamps and bildboards casts a white glow on the bed you and your boyfriend are sleeping in. Well, you're actually the only one who's resting; Tachihara's simply laying next to you, curled in a tight ball as he desperately clings to you.

His thoughts started spiraling as soon as the two of you got to bed five hours ago and now he was almost crying, pearly tears threatening to spill out any second.

Tachihara blamed himself for what happened to you; and how could he not? If he weren't a double agent this wouldn't have happened. Some low member from the Mafia found out about his secret identity and kidnapped you, threatening to kill you unless he confessed to Mori that he was a traitor.

Naturally, Tachihara killed the man but not before that bastard slid his knife over your arm, cutting deep into your flesh. Your pained screams echoed in his mind ever hours after saving you.

As soon as you got back to your shared apartment he disinfected and bandaged your wound, a string of apologies rolling off his quivering lips.

"It's okay baby I'm fine. It's not that big of a deal. The cut will heal in a couple of weeks." you said in a tender voice as you caressed his face and hair.

But it was a big deal to him: you got hurt because of him and he wasn't going to let that happen again.

As he laid on the soft mattress with his eyes wide open, scenes kept playing in his mind: you getting stabbed to death in front of his eyes or taken away forever, him on his knees in a pool of your blood as he held you limp body close to his chest, his reflection in a mirror as he got ready for your funeral.

No matter how hard he tried to shut down his brain these thoughts kept resurfacing, swirling in his mind like a swarm of wasps. What would've happened if he hadn't gotten to you on time?

Slowly but surely tears started streaming down his face as his body shook slightly. The sudden feeling lulled you out of your sluber and you rolled to the side.

"Hara baby what's going on?" you say in a sleepy voice.

"Nothing dear I just... I-" he tried to speak but the words were stuck in his throat.

When you realised he was crying, you let out a small hum and snaked your arms around his torso and neck, pulling him closer to you. His head came to rest against your chest as you gingerly played with the tufts of his coppery hair.

"Shh love don't cry. It's alright." you reassured him in a hushed voice.

His fingers gripped the material of your top, desperately dugging into your back "I'm so sorry Y/N."

"I know love and I forgive you. It wasn't your fault in the first place. But you saved me and now I'm perfectly fine so please stop worrying about this. I love you Michi"

Your soft voice managed to put his mind at ease a little and he closed his eyes, breahing in your scent.

"I love you too" he cooed against your chest before drifting into a dreamless sleep.

Teruko playfully rolled her eyes as the two of you walked down the busy street. Three hours ago she had received a call at the office; a group of terrorists had kidnapped you and were asking for confidential information in exchange for your freedom.

Of course, the call was easily traced and Teruko showed up at their hideout in less than half an hour and beat the shit out of everyone.

"Look Y/N." she said again in a more concerned tone "I'm gonna teach you how to fight when we get home. A girl's gotta know how to defend herself."

"Do you really think I'll be kidnapped again?" you mocked and Teruko chuckled lightly; but she did actually think that. There was a great chance that someone else was going to come for you again and if you were hurt it would indirectly be her fault.

She let out a loud sigh. "Just trust me on this. I'll teach you some basic moves at least."

"Okay" you said with a wide smile on your face. "We can start right away at my place"

Teruko's lips curled into a smile upon noting your obvious enthusiasm. "Sure. Let's go"

After a few minutes of walking you finally spoke again. "Thanks for saving me Teruko"

He's so drunk he can't even count them and his eyes feel heavy but it seems like the alcohol only had effect on his body; his mind was still racing. No matter how many bottles he downed he just couldn't drown the thoughts that relentlessly haunted him like a pack of hyenas.

How could he let them take you? He should've seen it coming, he should've but he was too busy thinking about his fucking plans and he didn't check up on you that morning. They took you from here, from his own apartment. How could that be? Why didn't he anticipate that?

Guilt dug in the fibres of his being like a sharp claw, making him feel nauseous. In the dim light of the office he could see his reflection in the polished surface of his desk lamp; he looked awful, dark circles forming around his eyes.

His gaze slid to the clock on the wall: 3:20 a.m. Your reassuring words kept replaying in his mind like a broken record: It's fine love I'm okay. I'm safe now. Don't worry about me they didn't hurt me. I just wanna go home and be with you for a while ok?

But as soon as you got home he shut himself in his office and opened a bottle of sake, then another and another...

He didn't even answer you when you knocked at his door and asked him to come to bed with you. All he did was drink, his golden eyes fixated on a random spot on the carpet.

And then it struck him. Why wasn't he with you now? Why was he alone in his office drinking himself to sleep instead of being by your side? A wave of guilt washed over him again.

With unsteady steps he made his way out of the room and to your shared bedroom where you were sleeping peacefully with your back turned to the door. The soft glow of moonlight that filtered in through the blinds faintly illuminated your serene features.

Fukuchi took off his uniform and quietly slipped under the covers next to you, hooking an arm over your waist to pull you closer to his frame. You shifted in your sleep at the sudden motion but didn't wake up, your eyelids shut tight. Soon after he closed his eyes too, relishing your presence as he fell in a deep slumber.

-her passion for the holiday was a little baffling to him when december rolled around

First of all thanks for actually playing, no one ever sends me anything so this is fun.

Kenshin was my husbando for many years. It was love at first sight, the first time I saw the Toonami commercial for Rurouni Kenshin I knew I would love it. Thematically it hits all my favorite tropes. Kenshin as a character is unusual because he genuinely cares about others to the point of self-sacrifice, and he has to constantly tame that tendency. He’s not educated but he’s incredibly self-aware and is constantly trying to be a better person than he was the day before. He’s very humble despite having what is often described as “god-like” strength, though when he loses his cool you really see that rage come through, the rage of a man who lost both parents to disease and was sold into slavery before being essentially forced into the mold of a martial artist. The rage of a man who’s seen war and who’s killed. He’s able to mostly keep that rage at bay by living in the moment and surrounding himself with found family, but it’s the one vice he has trouble with. Poor baby needed therapy lol. But aside from that undealt-with rage he’s everything a real modern man is not and that’s why I was/am so enamored with him. He’s kind, intelligent, humble, wise, empathetic… he’s how many men see themselves but actually aren’t in reality. So definitely Smash lol.

Saito is interesting because he did nothing for me as a teenager but the older I get the more I like him. He always had a cool, aloof appeal but nowadays it’s sexier, and his whole aku zoku zan philosophy becomes more understandable the older one becomes as well. The main thing I like about Saito is how shrewd/smart he is- he doesn’t let anyone play him. He has trouble showing emotions but again these guys were soldiers and warriors so it’s understandable and even a little endearing. I can sympathize with life making you an aloof asshole lol. Of course deep down he’s not really an asshole, he just cares a lot about justice, which by extension means he cares about people, whether he’d admit it or not. I’d give him a Smash rating as well.

Eve is difficult because I (regrettably) haven��t seen much of Killing Eve. It’s one of those shows that has been on “my list” for a long time. I do think Sandra Oh is attractive as fuck though. She has a soft aura but seems like an emotionally strong person. Based on the actress alone she gets a Smash, and I have a feeling I’d still say that if I knew the character more.

I’m not very familiar with Holmes (though I have always wanted to read the original books). The only version of him I am familiar with is Data’s portrayal of him in Star Trek: The Next Generation (and Data always gets a Smash rating from me, not that he’d know what “smashing” was lol). Based on that portrayal and my penchant for stoic, logical men I’d probably say Smash though.

Indonesia Should Rethink about Bottle Feeding

Recently, the public in Indonesia was shocked because formula milk produced by Nestlé in low-and middle- income countries contained high levels of added sugar. This finding led to public anger as Nestlé does not put it on their label. Investigation by Public Eye and the International Baby Food Action Network (IBFAN) revealed this.

Formula milk does not necessarily contain sugar as it is not needed by the infant and child. Early exposure to sugar can lead to addiction and cause health issues later in life, such as diabetes and hypertension.

As the third national commercial milk formula market by size and annual per capita expenditure, Indonesia spends about 2840,9 million USD in 2020 and expenditure per capita 10.4 USD/person for commercial infant formula. This number was the highest in Southeast Asia.

Based on DHS Program 2020, the use of bottles with nipples increased rapidly from 10.6% in 1991 to 30.3% in 2017. Even breastfeeding practice is still the majority, but we need to be concerned about bottle-feeding because the trend is continuing to rise.

As an Indonesian mother, we should rethink giving our baby bottle-feeding.

Why should we rethink this?

Even though most of us are already aware that various oral bacteria were found to transfer easily through bottle feeding or artificial nipples, this issue still happens around us. As a country that still struggle with environmental health, I have 4 other things to be consider when you want give a bottle feeding to your baby :

1.⁠ ⁠Bottle feeding is actually Dangerous

Do you know that some formula milk contains bacteria? Bacteria such as Enterobacter cloacae, Salmonella spp., Pantoea agglomerans, Escherichia vulneris, Hafnia alvei, Klebsiella spp., Citrobacter spp., Clostridium spp., Staphylococcus aureus, and Listeria monocytogenes have been identified as contaminants in powdered infant formula.

This could be more harmful for people who live in poor water resources and poor sanitation.

I was involved in WASH project back then in 2017, and a mother there was complaining about their baby getting diarrhea after bottle feeding. When I asked about their water resources, they said they took the water from an open-well or river nearby.

And this has not only happened in my project site, but all around Indonesia, there are 13,848,942 people who use unimproved and surface water for their water resources. Furthermore, the number of people who have limited access and open defecation is still high, especially in rural and slums areas. In such conditions, children become more vulnerable to diarrhea due to the limited availability of water for bottle-feeding and cleaning the bottles.

2.⁠ ⁠Bottle feeding requires much energy and water.

As mothers, we want to provide a better future for our children. I believe we want to do something good for our future generations. And bottle feeding, especially if you give formula milk, it’s completely not a sustainable practice.

Formula milk produces greenhouse gasses from its various activities. From the cattle farming, milk powder producing, transporting, and distribution. The innovative Green Feeding Climate Action Tool (GFT) indicates that the production and usage of CMF for infants under 6 months lead to annual global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions ranging from 5.9 to 7.5 billion kilograms of CO2 equivalent and consume 2,562.5 billion liters of water.

At a household level, bottle feeding also consumes a lot of energy.

Serving formula milk to your child needs warm water to make it a liquid. Heating the water requires energy from electricity or gas. It can come from firewood for those who live in a rural area.

Additionally, cleaning baby bottles requires a sterilizer or hot water. Sterilizing bottles is essential to prevent contamination, but it requires a significant amount of energy and water. The parent or caregiver uses one liter of water daily, along with two liters to boil the bottles and teats, plus additional water for washing and rinsing the bottles.

If our baby is bottle-fed 8 times a day, that number should be multiplied by 8!

3.⁠ ⁠Bottle feeding produces waste you can't imagine!

Indonesia, as a country that has not yet implemented recycling for waste, the disposal of formula milk cartons and cans becomes a problem.

Formula feeding produces significant waste. In 2009, 550 million infant formula cans, amounting to 86,000 tonnes of metal, and 364,000 tonnes of paper were disposed of in landfills.

Additionally, baby bottles have a limited lifespan. Most of these bottles are discarded in landfills and are not recycled, leading to waste accumulation.

What Can We Do?

So, to provide a better future to your kids and also showing your love to mother nature, here are some things you can do as a mother

1.⁠ ⁠Come to breastfeeding counselor

It is never too late to learn about breastfeeding. You can even do better on the next day!

You can ask any breastfeeding counselor about breastfeeding. Breastfeeding offers numerous health benefits for children, such as protection against infections, diabetes, asthma, heart disease, and obesity. Mothers also gain benefits, as it can prevent breast and ovarian cancers as well as heart disease. Breastfeeding also fosters the mother-baby bond and supports the mental well-being of both.

In Indonesia you can contact Asosiasi Ibu Menyusui Indonesia (AIMI), if you have any questions or concerns regarding breastfeeding.

Even if your child is currently bottle-feeding you can do relactation. Relactation refers to the efforts of a mother who has previously given birth but not breastfed or has stopped breastfeeding to stimulate the reproduction of breast milk and resume the practice of exclusive breastfeeding.

As a mother we can learn for the next baby as well to do exclusive breastfeeding up to 2 years old.

2.⁠ ⁠⁠Do Sustainable Bottle-Feeding

If you have already done bottle feeding you have to know how to reduce the contamination and clean the bottle well, sterilize at a specific temperature. To save energy, you can use thermos to store boiled water so you don’t have to do it repeatedly.

Beside, use a glass bottle or stainless steel bottle to prolong the use of the bottle. You can also start sorting the waste generated from bottle-feeding and send it to the nearest waste bank for recycling.

However, to keep in mind that breastfeeding is the best thing you can give to your baby. Breastfeeding is an environmentally friendly, cheap and sustainable practice that will protect your baby and greater environment.

Sakti lebih suka pantai daripada gunung. Dia takut kecoa dan males ngeliat soang karna pernah di kejar.

Ini perasaanku aja, atau memang dia ngga tertarik sama apa yang aku suka atau ngga suka ya hehehe. Karna dia tidak pernah tanya balik.

Yaudah aku kasih tau sendiri deh. Aku suka gunung, biarpun belum pernah naik gunung sih hehe tapi aku lebih suka dingin drpd panas. Pantai terlalu panas, aku tidak suka.

Udah sih gitu aja hehe. Lagipula gapapa sih, memang tidak ada yang menarik juga dihidupku.

Atau aku lagi sensitif aja? Karna capek habis lembur, kehujanan dan asam lambungku naik. Look, this is my bad day too..
