be me

second year raising meat rabbits. mostly know what i'm doing

it's the day of the county fair

i'm dressed and ready to leave, all that's left is to grab my show rabbits from their hutch

look outside

little brother is chasing a white blur around the backyard

turns out one of the cage doors was open overnight. either accidentally unlocked, or somehow fell open. no idea. doesn't matter

thankfully, not the cage door of the rabbits i'm taking to show. those three are still waiting in their hutch, perfectly behaved

but in the other cage, 5/6 of the babies are running haywire around our backyard

we live on 3/4 of an acre, btw. it's a large backyard

whole family chases rabbits for 30 minutes

4 of the 5 escapees are caught

1 still eludes us. it's hiding beneath the shed

i have to leave for the show. family promises to catch rabbit and meet me there

i go to the rabbit show

parents show up right before it starts. they were unsuccessful in catching the last rabbit and have decided to try again when we get home

i do really well at the rabbit show :D my trio makes sale!!

we all go home

baby rabbit is ducking between fences outside. staying close but not close enough

finally my mom goes into the neighbor's yard and catches it from behind

rabbit screams bloody murder the entire walk home. it's not hurt. just furious at being caught

we discover this is rabbit #4 (we don't name the babies, just number them. helps with attachment as they are meat animals)

surely the excitement is all over! we can rest easy

next day, #4 looks a bit sluggish. i start getting worried

day 2 post-escape, he looks almost on death's doorstep. Oh Fuck

during his hours away, he must have gotten into something bad

we scramble for what to do

he is floppy, clearly extremely dehydrated

but, on the plus side, his mother is still taking care of him! that's a good sign. rabbits won't take care of a baby they think is going to die. she's protecting him from his siblings and spending all day grooming him

the babies are weaned at this point, so he can't get his mother's milk to help perk him up

we improvise

we start syringe feeding him watered down heavy cream for hydration + nutrition

^^^^ do NOT do this. idk why it worked honestly. weaned mammals are lactose intolerant. somehow it worked, but don't try this home

but it did work

#4 managed to push through the worst of it and his body cleared whatever toxins were in his system

we were syringe feeding him every few hours. during the day when we were at work and school a neighbor came and did it. we didn't want this baby to die

and bonus: since he got held so much, he quickly became one of the most docile babies i've ever raised

okay, now it's over! he's healthy again!

mom has been in the hospital. family is pretty stressed

but she's being released today! dad and brother are going to pick her up, i'm tidying the house, home alone

i notice a white blur running around in the yard

Hey there! Glad you enjoy my blog, sorry it took a bit to get to this. This is the first night in like a month that I have any free time whatsoever (and that's cause I'm putting off grades, lol...)

I hope you don't mind a bulletpointer on this one!

Disordered experiences...

Firstly, I cannot overstate how fucking everything about me is impacted by trauma. Physical health? I get sick more often because my body has fought as hard as it has to survive -- it's an actual thing that traumatized people get physically sick more often. Mental health? Shit. Depression's comorbid, anxiety is comorbid, and I've even seen discussions about the connections between autism and DID, and those two do not mix well in me. All of my everything is constantly fucked.

I cannot goddamn sleep. Sleep is a goddamn hellscape. I run from somewhere between 2 to 6 hours of sleep most nights, and have to take plenty of naps just to survive. That makes it next to impossible some days to get the energy I need, or if I did get enough nappies, to get the free-time I need.

In terms of my actual DID... Amnesia is the biggest one. I constantly have gaps. I have to write every single thing down. I have plenty of accomodations, sure! But even those fail from time to time, and then it's just a spiral. Like, today at work, I had a surprise meeting I did not write down, because I just forgot to. I forgot about the meeting until 10 minutes prior, when I got an alert in my email about it. This meant I skipped lunch, and had to try and focus without having eaten since 9am. This made my day harder, which led to...

Dissociation!!! God fuck. It's so hard to focus sometimes. I am so spaced out. Today was one of those days where I had to cling to my phone for survival and grounding. Not the healthiest coping mechanism, but it's better to be writing posts on tumblr during class than forgetting I'm in class at all. And none of the kids snitch on me -- just get a little pissy if I don't call on them quickly enough.

Trauma flashbacks. Ough. If I get stuck in one, goodbye ability to think for awhile. It's been happening more and more frequently at work lately, so there goes my 30 minute lunch spent in the bathroom forgetting I exist because I feel like I'm going to my parents house after school.

That ties into paranoia. I have to convince myself more often than not that, when I get home, my abusers won't be there. I'm 26 and haven't directly lived with them in 3 years, and I cut them off close to a year ago. I still wake up thinking they're breaking in.

That's about all I can think off quick, off the top of my head. Basically... owie owie my brain is a big ol bruise.

Basically a rundown of the plot I have planned so far! I will be writing and posting in order on AO3!

But there are some specific scenes I wanted to write because I don't have the patience or time to write everything in order(I'll be posting them here under the Hiraeth AU tag) THIS ENTIRE THING IS GEN BTW!!!

Hiraeth

(n.) a homesickness for a home to which you cannot return, a home which maybe never was; the nostalgia, the yearning, the grief for lost places of your past

• Allura from another reality goes quintessence crazy after defeating Haggar at the cost of the lives of the other Paladins

• She goes from universe to universe trying to gather enough quintessence to bring back her reality that she accidentally tore apart but only gets worse and worse the more quintessence she is exposed to

• In the current universe she experiments with quintessence and accidentally kills her parents along with Zarkon and Honerva. Villian!Allura turns the blame to the Galra, causing the Allura of this universe to wage war on them as the only successor to the Altean throne.

• Lotor tries to convince Allura that her other self is lying to her but she doesn't believe it, leaving Lotor to flee from the Galran commanders trying to kill him to gain the throne(he goes into hiding before organizing a resistance after meeting the other generals)

• Villian!Allura is concerned that the Paladins of this universe will try to stop her so she destroys Earth

• However prior to the Altean invasion the Kerberos mission took place with Sam and his crew consisting of Matt, Adam and Shiro(who are all 16/17 for plot reasons they were interns or something IT MAKES SENSE DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!!!)

• Sam, Matt and Shiro are kidnapped and sent to the arenas while Adam manages to steal a ship to get back to Earth, only to find it destroyed

• The Galran Empire remnants (who were already planning on attacking Earth and communicating with Sanda(who sent Sam away on Kerberos because she thought he would get in the way of her failed "negotiations" and hoped he was kidnapped) fight with the Alteans, leaving Earth in the crossfire

• The Blade of Marmora attempt a relief effort and get one billion people off Earth before it explodes, finding Adam and establishing a planet they can live on before leaving them to their own devices

• In this AU all the Paladins are kids when Earth got destroyed (around 6 to 8) and Keith's dad dies during the evacuation helping defend the transports from Alteans but Kolivan saw that Keith's dad had a Marmoran knife(that he didn't give to Keith at 8 years old)

• Kolivan takes in Keith as a Blade agent since he has no human to provide for him but he keeps his identity as a human secret from the rest of the Blades to ensure none of them snitch since the Alteans have offered a lot for humans

• Kolivan knows the knife was Krolia's but doesn't tell her since she already jeopardized the Blade of Marmora once by leaving for Earth and without the temptation of her son she won't leave again

• Keith(as you can expect) did not have a very happy childhood growing up in an organization of trained killer assassin ninjas which resulted in more ~trauma~

• On one of his missions he is captured by Galra and put in the areans with Champion!Shiro and Keith meets another human for the first time who shows him kindness and starts to question if the Blades are right

• Keith escapes from the Arena with the Blades but convinces Ulaz to go back for Shiro and he meets up with Adam in the human colony

• On another mission Keith runs into Lance, Hunk and Pidge who are searching for a supposed superweapon in an attempt to defend themselves from Alteans and Galrans that prevent them from leaving their hiding spot at the edge of the universe

• he thinks to himself "wow these guys are annoying and weird I sure do hope I never see them again" before the Blades immediately order him to find the superweapon to keep it out of human, Altean and Galran hands because they are unreliable

• Krolia helps track down information it and Keith notices that whenever she is bored she recites star charts (kinda like his dad used to do) and the constellations look eerily familar

• Keith gets hurt, Krolia finds out his identity and takes him to the human colony so he doesn't have to stay in the abusive Blade environment anymore

• When she tries to get Keith to colony they are tracked by Alteans and Krolia manages to trick the Alteans and Keith crash lands on the surface only to see the ship leaving

• now that all the paladins are in one place they protect the colony after going on a couple of missions to find the lions while Keith tries to track down the very elusive Blade of Marmora

Theres more to it than that, BUT that's all for now!

Don't get me wrong I love this girl as a friend but she gets so annoying I need to fucking say it to someone.

I've known her since like freshman year but we only like just started like talking talking to her like a year ago and like I try so hard to be nice cause like don't get me wrong I don't mind hanging out with her.

She's very fucking sheltered and I think it's just a me thing and my own issues that makes me look down on like religious shelter kids but like she is a fucking adult.

She only wears one outfit and it's not like her family doesn't have money they offer to get her things and she refuses and then gets upset about not looking "cool" and it's like maybe if you didn't wear the same white shirt everyday for like 4 fucking years. She acts extremely sheltered and as if her family would kill her for liking fucking anime. I was friends with her brother who is a metal head literally grimey like atheist dude and I've talked to him and he says his parents are into it with him like that they bring him to concerts and stuff. But she acts like they'll kill her for liking anime cause it's weird. And it's like okay? She refuses to drive on freeways and at night or be out past 4 fucking pm. She's going on 19 btw. Calls her dad anytime we decide to hangout somewhere to ask for permission. And at first I didn't mind it till it was literally my birthday and my friends went to the mall and I invited her and the whole time she's like "guys wait can we keep track of the time I can't be too late home" We had to cut off my birthday earlier for her because she wanted to be back by like 6pm at the latest home. You are a grown adult. I get being anxious and stuff but like I offered to go to the mall a different day for my birthday and that we could hangout closer to her house so she didn't need to worry but she insisted. And anytime we are out in public she gets on my nerves she almost starts crying when me and my friends split up in stores shes like guys can we stick together and it's like we are literally getting things at the opposite side of the store just go with one of us. And she whines the whole time we are in stores like when can we go 🥺 or will follow me every fucking where. During my birthday we went to a really big mall and I have only been there once before then so I wanted to see a bunch more of their stores I only got to see like fucking 5 tho cause she got upset.

Cause we had to split up cause one of my friends had to leave to get bandages for her feet so she was like dw Just keep shopping me and the other friend I brought will ve back. And the whole time the friend I've been talking about (I'll just call her 6) was like guys can we just stay in one store while we wait and it's like tf no? And eventually they're like I need to get home it's 6pm and it's like 6 I told you I was staying up late for my birthday the mall doesn't close for fucking hrs. Anyways we left early.

And then she went home and was upset she couldn't have dinner with us and it's like no one's forcing you to leave? And she gets upset when me and my friends hangout and no one wants to drive with her. And it's like you refuse to go past the speed limit your car doesn't have ac and you refuse to go on the free way so it takes like an extra 30mins to get where we need to be cause you take surface streets. Also her playlist consists of 5 fucking songs and they're shit. She refuses to get youtube or Spotify premium which idc or mind it's expensive but she won't get an ad blocker either and complains about ads so instead she downloaded 5 songs and has them on repeat. And they're so fucking boring. It's like indie rock that's like on the verge of being emo but is like tx2 type shit like "you wouldn't like me if I take off this mask and broke my facades I'm so dark and twisted deep down" iykyk. And she's one of those people that when she gets mad her "ancestors" come out and she speaks in an English and Irish accent and it's like...stfu.

She's also a clean freak and she went to my house and like the way she acted is not how you treat someone in their own fucking home. She was shaking when she saw my room and was pacing cause of how 'disgusting' it was. She was like how do you live so dirty 😰 and it's like bro a pile of clothes is fucking nothing compared to the usual. And she ruined the hangout when we went to a friend's house cause she wouldn't stop complaining about how messy her house was and refused to sit down which sorry but that's so fucking disrespectful.

The persons house we were at was not dirty in the fucking slightest but she brought the whole vibe down cause she refused to sit and was like sorry guys I can't concentrate with all this dust. And wouldn't stop pacing and until we just told her to go home.

Not only that but like she's one of those girls thats like guys I can't have sugar I'm too dainty ill have a sugar rush and shake and she had a monster one time and that bitch was vibrating for like 5 hrs and it's like bro that monster a rehab monster mind you did not just do that to you.

Also she refuses to have an open about things like I fucking hate neutral people like that. And with the clean thing it's making it so she doesn't even want a job. She wants to go on this big fancy trip to see her friends but it'll cost like 500 dollars which is a singular fucking paycheck as a part time host at a dingy diner (from experience) but she refuses to get a job cause she doesn't want to work retail or food cause she says it's gross. And refuses to work during the week and only wants to work weekends and it's like you can't being fucking picky as a 19 year old when it comes to working and the fact you didn't want to go to college or a trade school either. Like life is life. But she complains about needing that money and a job and she opened up commission for art but this bitch doesn't have anything like PayPal or cashapp and she doesn't want to promote her work either... like she wants to do solely cash and in person art and it's not like she doesn't know how me and my friends who also do commissions have offered to help set it up and she's like but I can get scammed on those things 🥺 and it's like bro you can be scammed on almost anything no one's gonna buy from you. She doesn't have a card either. Strictly fucking cash like? And she acts so fucking sheltered. ITS CALLED SEX YOU ARE 19 FUCKING ACT LIKE IT. Like she doesn't understand anything and it's not like she's uncomfortable with that topic or anything it's the fact she genuinely acts fucking stupid. She's also super religious and her parents aren't that much like?

I was the first person she came out as trans to and I can understand the religious guilt but she has the audacity to still like side with chirstians on most things cause she doesn't want to look bad. She constantly rants about hating being trans not cause she feels guilty or anything but because being trans is a sin and it's like she knows I have religious trauma and she still acts like that and it pisses me off.

The thing that pushed me over the edge was when my friend was visiting and I've talked about him before and how I only got to see him for a day and when he was visiting she asked to hangout with us and some other friends and she got a fucking flat tire and instead of like calling her dad she asked my friend that only has 5 fucking hrs to visit us to help her and she just watched him do it for her....he was only allowed to stay 5 fucking hrs and most of it was fixing a goddamn tire. I've never felt so pissed and I genuinely didn't even want her to go like I was contemplating yelling or crying at her cause this was my one day to see him type thing cause he lives in a diff stay.

1. My first ever oc was a character named Khaos. He was originally a human who was experimented on and turned into a chimera by a facility who had been advertising themselves as a medical institution who could heal miraculously disabled children/people. Khaos ran away with another girl, who'd been turned into a half snow leopard anthro and eventually they found a portal to another dimension and escaped there. Oh btw he was basically a humanoid Discord from MLP.

2. If I had to choose, it would probably be either Gaelför or Akina. They're my favorites not because of their designs, but also because of their stories.

3. Nope. I'd love to, but the ones I come across typically are outside of my budget.

4. Probably some of my older oc's! Like Angela or my Suitor Armor oc's.

5. Gaelför and Fukukochoumi Akina! Out of all of my oc's, these two are my favorites.

7. Yes! Gaelför, Kirsi, and other oc's are a part of a story I'm calling "Black Snow." I plan to turn it into a webcomic, and I'm currently working on the script and official character sheets for the most important characters. Anything about them is under the "black snow" tag on my tumblr.

19. Gosh, all of my oc's mean something to me. But Akina probably means the most. She's one of the oldest oc's I still have (in terms of how intact she is with her original self). Her journey of self acceptance and owning her own femininity and becoming more confident in herself after she's found friends/a place to call home means a lot to me.

20. None of my oc's really sing aside from Akina? I don't have a voice actress in mind, but she'd definitely have a very beautiful singing voice that's very strong and melidoc.

32. Gaelfor! Gaelfor 100%! Especially early chapters Gaelfor! He's a 7'9" Ddraikin who can heat up his scales to incredibly hot temperatures. Once he figures out how, he can be an incredibly ruthless hunter, who's good at tracking scents, combat, and other skills.

33. Mitsuha! She's a maneki neko yokai who's super shy, but once you get to know her, she'll be one of your closest friends.

34. Yep! Sïndri and Nyx are Gaelför and Kirsi's twin boys! I haven't drawn them yet!

35. Fenrir and Callum are brothers. Gaelför also has a sister named Ylva. Akina has her younger brother, Haitao, and her younger sister, Iyla.

There was also Oliver, who was a redesigned version of Khaos to fit into the SRaPB universe. He was one of Kiki's witch friends!

50. Gaelför belongs to a species/race from my original story Black Snow! They're native to the continent of Gal'ruk, and tend to stick to the northern parts of the continent, on the other side of a wall of active volcanoes called the Ignimurus! When he was about 10, he snuck away from his tribe to go and fight off the group of Seekers (Ddraikin hunters/collectors) who were camping close to them. He was quickly overpowered by the hunters, and was taken away from his tribe. He was then enslaved as an Executioner in the human city of Cal'deur for 14 years. He only managed to escape the city because of a chance escape he made one day while in the ring with a magi prisoner he was supposed to kill (Kirsi). He's not exactly what I would call a good person towards the beginning of his story. He's cruel, unkind, and only thinks for himself. It isn't until he makes a deal with Kirsi to help him get home, along with some other misadventures along the way, does he actually begin to grow and change for the better!

Lol, I can imagine him staying there for a number of reasons.

1. Brucie Wayne is known as a major idiot playboy so he thinks he won't be caught by him.

2. There are a lot of black haired blue eyed people and Danny thinks he has a cover for if he screws up and someone catches a glimpse of him

3. The butler is an amazing cook. Hes seen some of the meals he made on TV once when Mr Wayne was doing an interview and the food looked like heaven. He now knows it tastes as good as it looks

4. The mansion is one of the most well defended high security places in the world and even his parents would have a hard time storming this castle. This place was practically a fortress

5. The youngest Wayne has a lot of pets and Danny loves pets. If Cujo comes around then he's sure Damian could tame him.

6. Jason's library would probably get raided and he'd be ranting about missing books. Danny makes extra sure not to damage them in any way

7. The people there are free entertainment. The Waynes and co are also fun to mess with. Hes done everything from playing hide and seek with a very distressed Duke (full horror movie style. Danny won btw) to zapping himself into a video game Technus style to play against Tim. He didn't do that again because it turns out Tim is really good when he has motivation

Hi everyone. As you may or may not know, I am a Sea Cadet. It's a pretty big part of my life, and I tend to go away on courses. Generally band ones, as my unit is lucky enough to have a band, but most recently, a catering one. 7 people from my unit, myself included went to that place, most for seamanship, one catering, one first aid. 6 people went back. You want to know why? Because someone abused their power, and sent one of my best friends home. Because he had a multi-tool, that happened to have a blade in it. He didn't use it, although he did use the plyers once. I won't go too into detail, as it's not my story to share, but this isn't the first case of bullying to my unit, in a couple cases FROM my unit. It's happened to me, my brother (who is a junior BTW), my best friend and a kid who transferred over from ANOTHER unit to escape this bullying. So, I'm going to explain what happened to me, and why I now find it harder to make friends on courses.

My first course

So, it was my first ever course, at HMS Raleigh, where you go for stage one of joining the navy. You have to march just to get food lol. One of the girls in my mess was from my unit, let's call her H. We were a couple of the first ones there, so I got top bunk, she got bottom. She eventually moved, though. We then went exploring, as this was my first time there, and H seemed just as lost. Eventually we headed back to our mess, and there was a couple new girls, and the people who were there previously were gone. We talked about how bitchy the 4 who were there first seemed. Skip to later that day, it was almost night, and I was feeling horribly left out. I ended up crying and I called my mum, but this wasn't the last of it. One girl, L, ended up admitting in a later course that she didn't like me, but I already knew that by how she'd treated me. I ended up crying to my mum at least once more, and called her every night anyway. Now it's tradition to do that, mainly so I can check up on my little siblings, and hear what they've been doing.

Conclusion

So, yeah. That's not the only instance of bullying, and I left out quite a few details due to me still being a bit upset over it, but yeah, bullying, even accidental bullying, isn't okay. It made me cry, my brother mad, got my best friend kicked out of a course, and had that other kids expensive watch broken. So please, be careful what you say, don't tease someone for things long past, be careful what you tell your parents and don't break other people's stuff. Please, reblog this, spread the message. I don't care if you're a Sea Cadet or not, you don't even have to know what Sea Cadets is! But we all know what bullying is. Please. Don't let this carry on.

well, I'm finally out of my binge phase. gained 5kg 🙃 but hopefully I can lose at least some of it before new years. will probably think of a better diet soon, but for now, I'm thinking:

day 1: water fast ✅️

day 2: 800kcal

day 3: liquid fast

day 4: 750 kcal

day 5: it's xmas day, so idk. I'll be forced into eating more than I want, but I'll try to stick to protein and veg and avoid sweets and cakes

day 7: water fast

the liquid fasts are different than the water fasts. with the water fasts, I will only have water, tea, lemon juice with water, zero kcal soda, and vitamins. with the liquid fasts, I can have soups and smoothies (as long as they're not too high in calories). ik liquid fasts don't actually make you lose more weight, but I'm an all or nothing type of girl. if I eat something solid, I tend to lose control and just keep eating. it's not feasible for me to jump straight back into water fasting after binging since july, so I'm easing into it with alternating liquid fasts and higher calories on the days where I eat solid food (well, higher calories by ana standards).

I look so fat and out of shape now. last time I weighed myself a few days ago I was 59kg at 5'1 and a half. I look fat and feel fat. and uglier.

when I was 54kg I felt fat too, and my ugw still seemed so distant. but now I wish I was 54kg again.

I'm going to go to more museums and art galleries and parks and stuff. both bc I want to be cultured and do stuff instead of being boring and rotting in my room all day on my phone, but bc doing fun stuff will distract my mind from thinking about food. when I'm reading my books (just got my sailor moon manga box set btw, which is so cute!! and restarted anna karenina), I'm going to go to the library so I won't be tempted to go to the kitchen and enjoy it with a snack.

I'm going to shower, get dressed, and do my makeup every day as well. ik those are normal things all functional adults do (except for the makeup), but my parents just never got me into that routine growing up, so it's been difficult to consistently do it as an adult. but staying at home with a bareface, pyjamas, and unbrushed hair makes me feel so lazy and I just don't get on with anything. at least if I'm already dressed from the morning, I won't slack off on doing my walks thinking, "but ugh, I'll have to get changed and wash my face and put on suncream and -"

October 26 - ice storm begins, lost power at home and went to stay with parents (I won't mention this again bc I was there throughout all of this which was good and bad)

Oct 27 - notified by neighbor who stayed put that my trees have all basically split in half since the leaves were still on the trees when the ice came. This happened to everyone everywhere btw so the setting for this story is borderline apocalyptic

October 28 - wake up to a teams notification that my boss and close personal friend died on a mountain the night before. Can't travel to office to see people, doesn't matter anyway because there's no power at the office. That doesn't matter anyway because it was a pandemic too so. Go to my house and get my perishables out of the cooler on the porch where I put them for safekeeping

October 30 - wait in line to vote early (afraid my precinct may not have power on election day) for over 2 hours. At some point the dog got an ear infection during this

In this time I'm also supposed to be "working" although this is never explained because our boss is dead and there's no power to access our remote desktops and some people unlike me don't even have anywhere to go live that does have power. My other boss had covid and his mother died. Yes during this same time period

October 31 - Halloween?

Nov 3 - presidential election. Wake up feeling nervous and it never ends because it turns out the election will not be called for four more days

Nov 4 - watched boss's funeral on Facebook live. I believe Ariana Grande's new album debuted somewhere around this time period

Nov 6 - power finally on at home. Go home and then go to a WAKE IN A PARKING LOT for my boss. Eat enchiladas and go to bed at 8:30

Nov 7 - wake up and wonder how to confront the darkness. But gritty triumphed and there was light again. At four seasons total landscaping

Philip:

A tumblr post brought to my attention that his name means Lover of Horses. So he was a horse boy.

Also means Bastard but he isn't actually one. Technically. His parents were married.

The [old] Wittebane parents had a favorite child and it was not him.

Back to the horse thing, the family owned 2 horses that Philip helped care for.

He tried to appear angelic around others and it worked… for those not related to him. 

A sent this part anonymously to someone but Philip knows how to sew. I used it to explain how his clothes lasted 400 years.

He [along with Caleb] was taught how to care for a home aka Domestic Life. That is despite the 1600s having strict gender roles.

So this is half serious and half not but Philip is Non Binary (One who uses He/him and they/them). Not that he knows it. He never cared.

Now this one is a more serious headcanon. Philip is AroAce. I cannot see him ever wanting anyone romantically or sexually. 

Child Philip would have been a leash kid. Running wild and jumping off of things. 

Oh he was also a biter as a kid for a long time. Like 8 years long. He was punished for it but it never worked.

He also helped with the chickens by feeding them.

He is only 3 years younger than Caleb.

Everything else is just canon. Won't let go of the past, selfish, abusive, etc.

Edit: How could I forget. I headcanon child Philip as a slight pyromaniac. Loves fire and would always let his family know that fact

Caleb:

First born son. Doesn't like it beyond being the older sibling.

Loves carving and has tried to teach Philip but has failed.

Also Selfish. Love that people are saying that now. He made the conscious decision to stay on the Boiling Isles.

If he didn't immediately find the love of his life and lived longer he may have realized that he is not straight. Wouldn't label tho.

He would have been a great dad btw. He was a great brother who entertained his brother and later sister.

He also carved many toys before he died as his kids were to be born soon.

Unlike Philip who was a gremlin child (who never grew up -_-) Caleb was a polite child who grew into a gremlin.

He did marry Aria who is deep down very chaotic so he is the same.

He did carve Flapjack. Aria told him what Palismen were so he wanted to make one. He made Flapjack to pair with Aria's Blue Jay. Which he also carved 

He did carve other things to sell. He had to live somehow.

Something scandalous (for a Puritan) he did was to indeed kiss Ariane before marriage. He initiated the kiss btw.

I don't actually have much for him.

I think he was good socially and willing to change. He had pent up rebellion.

She as I have hinted is a very polite woman who deep down is chaotic

She has been that way since she was a teen. Once she got older she matured.

She is like Dell in the few appearances we have seen him. Fun loving but chill.

Aria is down for petty theft. Just for fun.

She is a good mom. Maybe not the best but she does put her daughters over revenge.

Though she did attempt to murder Philip immediately after he killed her husband

After that she just put a broad "come near my family I will kill you Philip" and moved on with building her life up with her kids.

She built a cabin away from The Clawthorne manor but still on the property. It was easy when she had her husband.

The cabin is still slightly big but not huge.

Aria was taught to carve from Caleb over the years they knew each other. They met at 15 and 13 years old. 

Caleb died at 25 so a decade of learning how to carve. 

Her Blue Jay Palisman is named Blueberry. Normally shortened to Berry.

Aria is a tall woman. Tall genes run in her family. She loves being tall.

Philip has run into her a few times but she isn't just going to let him stay so he flees as she will kill him.

As she got older she let her hair grow out. Mostly to let her daughters play with her hair and it makes her feel older.

Also I want you to know that Philip will always be mad about her name. As he thinks witches suck and deserve to die so he feels it is a mockery that Ariane means Very Holy.

The man would be pissed about names, don't fight me on this.

Aria works as a singer and earns money that way. 

Side job is craving trinkets to sell like Caleb was doing before someone came.

Ariane is Demiromantic. 

Aria lived a long time. She lived to see great grandchildren from both daughters.

Constance:

She is pretty well behaved. She wants to be an explorer so she has just contained almost all of her chaos. For later.

She did learn to carve but again she wants to be an adventurer so she didn't really care beyond a connection to Caleb.

She never got married but she did have a kid who she later taught to carve. 

After that she told them to carve their Palisman on their own

Constance Palisman is a raven.

After she had her kid and they grew up she started taking them on adventures 

She is very talkative. She loves telling stories and just talking.

She also became friends with her sister's wife as to just have more connections 

She is also loud like very loud when talking 

She keeps her hair short which makes her look almost like a carbon copy of her mother as a young lady. All she has is blue-green eyes.

Constance is taller than mom. Tall lady ♡

She is an awful cook.

She still lives with her mom. Which isn't a bad thing, Aria loves helping raise Constance's child.

Constance has stabbed a man before. It was her Ex's brother.

She and her ex parted on good terms. She just couldn't stand his family.

While she is the older twin she does go along with Aphra sometimes to cause chaos.

Aphra was born male and then told her mom at 8 she was a girl. She later realized that she also liked They/Them pronouns. 

She looks the most like her dad besides her eyes being gold. 

Philip saw the twins btw and almost panicked as here is his brother's kid looking so much like him.

Aphra is also Bisexual. She figured that out when she was around 16.

Aphra never got bottom surgery or anything of the sort as that isn't what bothered her. She did get top though. 

Now away from her gender and sexuality.

My honey bee here is a big troublemaker.

Also a slight pyromaniac but she makes sure to not burn anything important down.

She was also a biter as a kid. 

They are also a daredevil. They would jump off of a cliff or touch the boiling water.

Both them and Constance were taught how to carve but only Aphra here actually wanted to do it as a career.

They want to be a parent to a few kids. Which they accomplish with their lovely wife who calms this ball of chaos.

They only have 3 kids btw. 2 sons and 1 daughter. 

They taught all their kids how to carve. Even helped with their palismen.

Oh her palismen is a crow.

Despite her chaos she is actually the quiet kid compared to her sister.

She and her family moved into the old Clawthorne Manor

She and her wife fixed up the manor as it sat for 2 decades without care.

In the Genetic Owlbeast Au Gwendolyn is not related to the Clawthornes via blood. Unless stated though she is related by blood via Constance 

I said in another post (I believe) that the Wittebane parents also had a daughter who died after the boys stayed in the Boiling Isles.

Also when I say Wittebane parents I mean Philip and Caleb's step mom. As their mother died in childbirth. The sister (Verity) is their half sister. 

Would love to touch on Verity but she lived in the 1600s as a Puritan who never left. She was a sweet girl though. Died of sickness at 30

Also Verity is 10 years younger than Philip.

While the direct lines as to Gwen and Dell came from as 20+ generations have passed I will say Gwen came from Constance's line and Dell came from Aphra's line.

There's 6 of us kids in total! No1 & 2 are both boys, and from me (No3), it's all girls. Reading all these AMOMK drabbles/asks reminds me of my family quite a bit, we're just ... LOUDER. My mom and dad are pretty similar to Mr. & Mrs. Kim in some ways. Though Mom definitely has the power around our home, she likes to make it seem to Dad that he does.

As for us as characters ... oh my, we definitely all are. From me (no3) who comes home once or twice a month from traveling and randomly dances (badly btw) in front of the hallway closet mirror, Dad who joins said dance time, Mom who shades our dancing & shades everyone else honestly (but she says its no shade she's just telling the truth). No1 who loves his dog-ter a bit too much & his wife who is sooo LOUD, it's funny AF. No2 who may be my brother but i still wonder what his wife saw in him to get married and decide to have children with him (their kids are very cute tho, my dancetime buddies). No4 who is the quiet, studious type but is actually the funniest out of all 6 kids (those quips come quality over quantity) you won't be disappointed and her nerdy boyfriend who comes over with a new action figure repaint project every weekend. No5 who was the family's baby for almost 12 years, Mommy's mini-me who's a bit wildin' now she's living by herself. And no6, the official youngest, only 10 and acts as if she's grown. Ahhh 6 kids total! Haha, omg I love your family dynamics!! "Choose your fighter"! No one stands a chance against y'all's bright positivity and love! My heart is so big and happy at the thought of your loud, funny, warm, close-knit family, full of music and dancing, so wonderful! You described it so vividly, and so beautifully! It has been 2 & a Half Months since my Adoptive Dad passedaway of a Heartattack at 51 yearsold. 6 months before that he picked me up from my failed attempt at independence in Arizona, guilt tripped me into a "Boys Trip" to Vegas, which was an utter dumpster fire. We were in Vegas for one day. He spent the drive there venting in great detail about how Mentally Ill he & everyone as at home is + a Shakespearean monologue on the pharmaceuticals they are all on. He spent the breakfast hours of the next day putting me back in the spot I held as a child: his Therapist & Emotional Punchingbag.

Since 10 yearsold my spoken-unspoken job has been to carry the emotional burdens of my adoptive-dad (directly) & by extension the emotional burdens of both my adoptive parent's families (indirectly). That is too much emotional baggage for a 10, 16, or a 25 yearold to solve alone.

I am self aware enough to know I'm not Perfect. Infact - I'm self aware enough to know that a family should not force the standard of Perfection ("You're the Perfect Child!" "You have to be Perfect!") as soon as he can speak. I realize my wrongs - I am a Drunkard who has spent the better part of the last 5 years stonewalling most of his Adoptives out of his life save the part where I never made an Independent Adult of myself. I spent much of these last leeching handout$ from my a-mom so I can afford rent. My money issues obviously come from how much I spent the last couple years Binge Drinking.

I get it. I am an Ungrateful Child. I am a Bad Son. I am Undeserving of All that has been bestowed on me. But why do I know those things? How? From who? Why are those three sentences my internalization of childhood? That I recognize my wrongs in no way invalidates how perverse a relationship I had with my adoptive-father.

I am simple. I can handle someone going full Scorched Earth about me. I see the Wrongness that I am.

I am all too aware of all the flaws of my Adoptives: Marital Rape, STDs, Business Sabotage, Rampant Adultery & Alcoholism, & so much more. All of this hidden behind the veneer of White Collar White Teeth WASP Americana. It is easier for them to hide their evils behind a False Happy Face then for them to risk healing themselves (meaning: much needed divorces). A 10 year old cannot bare all the pains of his own dad - letalome of his mother, uncles & aunts, & grandparents.

The bitter cherry atop this all is they've zero idea how over-aware I am of their scandals & how overwhelming it is to have to play stupid around them when you're aware of all their dirty laundry. If my Birth-Parents were this rotten you people never would have let me live it down.

I've spent these last two months in a depressive rage. I'm finally piecing together the mosaic that is my childhood. •During the days where you are only living with Jaeyoung, Hyojin and Seungjoon. You noticed something and you are curious about it.

• You noticed Hyojin and Seungjoon are close. And only to know they have known each other for ages. But Hyojin did not always be with Seungjoon for all of his lifetime. As per Seungjoon, there is a moment where Hyojin gone missing. When he returned he looked malnourished and frustrated. Seungjoon was the one who helped Hyojin to recover.

• Hyojin has 2 symbols imprinted on his skin. One on his wrist and another on his back below his nape. You got curious and you asked him about it.

• Hyojin was even shocked that you asked him : "You did not know?" And you just shook your head and blinked your eyes.

• Hyojin then told you his story. He used to be familiars for 2 other individuals that are parent and child. Their mad obsession with his voice so much to the extent they imprinted him to bound him at the human world. He was later released by their grandchildren.

• Once imprinted, the familiars cannot pact with/summoned by other people for a period of time decided by their owners. His first owner bound him about 100 years and his second one bound him about 150 years. In short imprinted familiars are forced to shut away from their own world in a certain period of time. And only the owner or person blood related to owner can terminate or make anew to the bounding.

• You cried as he told you his story and it shocked him a bit. He knows that there are good humans too but deep down he also felt humans are selfish. Including you. But it might be the first human he met that emphatize with him and his experience.

• After hearing his story you are interested why he still choose to follow Seungjoon to come to your side. When he can totally decline your summoning and let Seungjoon come alone

• Hyojin : "I am worried if he meet someone dangerous so I followed him."

• "And I was kind of planning to have revenge on human too...but you are alright I guess." Hyojin saying it while averting his gaze. His hands awkwardly pats your head.

• Cues in you stand up while wailing that you are sending him and the other 2 back because they all deserves a better life back in the magical world but Hyojin stops you. He knows those 2 are already attached to you because you treat them very well.

• As for Hyojin, he felt he could stay and enjoy since the human world has changed alot.

• You began to wonder what period Hyojin was in when he is bounded in this world. Then you began to Google all sorts of historical paintings and showed Hyojin. Trying to find which country he used to stay. Cues in you two got really excited in front of the computer while browsing historical paintings. This is also the timing where has totally let his guard down towards you as he chattering about the older human world. Which period and country Hyojin was in I shall leave it up to you.

• The first time when Hyojin sings, you are delighted and surprised. Finally understands why his previous owners would be that selfish to bound him. But you are not going to do it. ALSO Hyojin singing while roaming around the house. And because he is doing it , later the other 6 starts doing it too making your house having all sorts of melody noises mixed up

• Cues in Hyojin looking at you eating and was like "is that even tasty?" Because historical cooking is different than current and he is interested.

• You would share your food and snacks to him when he is looking at it with his eyes open wide with curiosity.

• Once he got into the taste and flavour of human food, he starts his smuggling food from your house fridge act as mentioned in the first establishment.

• At first, its a secret between you and Hyojin. But then as his "appetite" to taste human food flavours grow bigger its not a secret anymore. Sometimes he just walks around the house with eating snacks. And he is the reason you never succeed in dieting. Lol

•Your butler feels like he is feeding 2 kids. And the new butler got confused when he sees Hyojin eats human food. Especially when the first day he joins the house and sees Hyojin walking upside down on your living room ceiling while sucking lollipop with his animal traits still on him.

• Cues in some plausible scenarios to happen :

• Hyojin munched a big bite of the roasted chicken your butler has made exclusively for guests. And your butler is furious about it. Hyojin would hide in your room because your butler is not allowed to enter your room without your permission

• Or one day you came back home and your butler mentioned he will be heading out to buy stuffs because the kitchen ran out of the ingredients. Then you find Hyojin chilling in your room. And you knew he is the culprit for sure.

•BTW because of the knowledge you gained from Hyojin's story, later when you summoned Changyoon, you quickly noticed the imprint on his arm and you can immediately tell he had the same experience of being bounded. You apologised and mentioned that you will send him back because you felt bad. But Changyoon volunteered to stay.

• So apparently, his experience with humans are better than what Hyojin been through. Based from Changyoon, he was the one who volunteered to be bounded by the previous owner because they are dying due to illness but no one they trust enough to take care of their young children. So Changyoon was bounded for a short while. Maybe until the child reach coming of age or until the child released him is up to you.

(By the way this is totally my idea of preference. The complexity of symbol/tattoo = the length of being bounded. Changyoon's tattoo was quite simple in design so I had the inspiration for this setting)

• You mentioned to Changyoon that his imprint symbol looks like WHPH in human language.

Changyoon asked you what does it mean and the first thing comes into your mind was Work hard Play hard. And he loved it. Btw you googled paintings to find out which period and country Changyoon was in too.

• Since Changyoon has the experience of taking care someone he knows how to cook and do some chores. He quickly becomes your old butler's new fave and then also the new butler's fave being.

•BTW this might happen rarely but the cooking show down between new butler and Changyoon to compete who is the better cook. For some weird reason, you were never invited to be the judge and you never participated for food tasting. It was Hyojin's exclusive only.

• (Little that you know actually that relative of yours already sensed the new presence in your house but was sceptical as you are never truly exposed to their world as per their knowledge)

• Fast forward to the time you have successfully summoned Hyojin and Seungjoon. You left Jaeyoung and the new 2 familiars at home with your butler then you head out to school

• When you came back home you saw a unfamilar car stopped in front of your house and you had a bad feeling about it

• You stepped into the house acted like normal and find the head of main family with the relative you are close to are sitting on the couch in living room waiting you to return

• You glanced at your butler as you did not see your new friends in house. But your butler just lightly shook his head hinting now its not the timing. You acted normal and small talks with the guests until...

• One of them, preferably the head of family : "So, Y/N, are you not going to introduce us your new friends?" And it sent you chills.

• You tried to act like you don't understand the topic but they said they could sense the presence of your familiars in your house. No choice, you set out to find them. You found them in your room according to you butler. He was the one who suggested the trio to hide there.

• Seungjoon is under your bed, Jaeyoung is hiding in your closet while Hyojin locks himself in your bathroom.

• They are scared at your relatives because of their aura were way different from yours. You calmed them down and they all finally meet.

• Cues in you relatives are amazed at you being untrained, but still managed to summon such high class familiars and even sustain them. (Welp at this timing they all look like teenage boys and the consumption of your energy were limited)

• Of course you relatives lower down their intimidating aura when they checked and found the trio familiars of yours are basically harmless

• Cues in your relatives glanced at you when they saw Hyojin has 2 imprinted symbols. You already what it is by that timing and you firmly said "I knew about it, he told me. He wants to stay and I still wanna keep him."

• Your elder relatives exchanged looks and nodded to each other. They understood your initial motive and also they had to acknowledge that the apple does not fall far from the tree. The head of the family even pats your head and invite you to stay over at grand manor during summer holidays. "Having being accompanied is good but don't forget we are your family too."

• (You went to the grand manor before with your family but after their death you never visited much)

• And what happens was every year of your visit, the number of familiars you bring with you increases until you reach 7 familiars

• Again , this is my idea of preference. There are other members in the family having high class human looking hybrid familiars like you too. You can insert any other kpop groups. Like one relative of yours have a group of 6 (Oneus?), another one have 9 (PTG?). You even found out someone had 13 familiars. It is all flexible, even just 1 or 2 of your bias from other groups is doable too.

(This is because I personally don't like writing them does not interact with other beings or entity/species and just interacting with reader stand in only. Yea a weird sense of obligation for world building in fiction.)

•BTW ALL OF YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS DOTES ON MINSEOK LIKE THEY ADOPTED HIM. EVERYTIME YOU VISITED THR GRAND MANOR, THEY WOULD TOTALLY ASK FOR HIM.

• Minkyun might even befriended the family pet dog or cat in the grand manor

• As number of familiars increase, the household is getting chaotic. At first you are doing a good job controlling them like raising your voice while warning them but

• You eventually joins their weird antics occasionally and getting scolded by your old butler

• When you are not in the house and they are really out of control

• Cues in your butler just randomly throws a dead cockroach or dead bug towards them and they all freak out then scatters while making incoherent noises lol (old and new butler both doing it)

• It started with unexpectedly as during summer insects start roaming around. Usually there is no insects in your house but 1 or 2 occasionally just sneaks in. And took the liberty to die at the hallway or any corner in your house. So you and your butler found out about the 7 of them are scared of cockroaches and bugs in no time.

• its obvious when you see 1 or a few of them does not dare to walk through the hallway or just stand still or even suddenly runs toward you. Especially Yuto and Jaeyoung

• So one time, you are away from home. 7 of them are having way too much fun while the butler cleaning up suddenly he found a dead cockroach and out of frustration he picks it up and throws toward the 7 of them. And that is when and where you butler has found the ultimate weapon.

•Both old and new butler always reminds your familairs to hide their animal traits when some one normal comes by to visit

• Its perfectly doable if the 7 of your familiars ships you and the new butler. Which kinds of explains why they mostly overprotective when someone tries to flirt with you.
