taking care of children is hard. ive been at it for a day and a half. someone asked if i was this 8 year olds mother, which isnt even an unreasonable question at this point, but is still such a bizarre concept i dont have a normal emotional response to it. sometimes a kid wants to drink soda with a spoon, which i think its fine, but i do also have to bodily prevent these siblings from inflicting harm on each other relatively often. meals are so expensive. i want to be Quiet. i cant do that for another day and a half, but i can only do that for about 5 hours before its another 4 days of this. people do this every day for years
