#my mom is like hmmmmm I don't think that will look good

*collapses* I have spent. The last six days straight. Working nonstop. On nothing but (1) my job and (2) painting the house.

like. like. as in I woke up early, began working, and didn't stop until my body would not go on (e.g. signs of impending collapse). I have discovered energy drinks actually work! this is the only reason I got this far! I had never drank a full one before!

this is because I bought a Big House (love to make choices) that required a 50' boom lift rental to paint and that Costs Money so I had to finish everything that needed to be done with the lift in the time we had the rental

but like. I did it?? it's done?

the house isn't completely painted but like it's going to rain for the next ~week so I am using that as my excuse to not touch a can of paint again for a hot minute

I know how to use a boom lift now (pretty cool tbh)

Established rapport with my neighbor (he's a nice guy; was super chill about us needing to park the lift in his yard to do one side of the house)

discovered some particular strain of inner peace from the simple nature of reducing all of your concerns to simply Work, Paint, Food, Sleep for an extended period

did actually manage to Not exceed my limits although I did experience significant pain, minor hallucinations, and loss of balance/stability by the end of some of the days

feel like. accomplished. and weirdly like. idk. something else?

anyway so now I'm going to sleep. for the correct number of hours. and then like. put my house back together and remember how I normally conduct my life, b/c everything else fell by the wayside given the fact that exactly 100% of my time and energy was accounted for

Also, shoutout to Impulse for getting stuck in two of those worlds in ONE DAY. Joe revealed that the recording for what we now know as vault hunters was also last monday. Impulse is really going through it.

Impulse sweats. For the past several minutes, Iskall has been staring at him and "hmmm"-ing for some reason. His only solace is that he's also doing it to Etho, but it's still making Impulse feel like he's got something weird on his face. That, or Iskall has suddenly and unexpectedly transformed back into his original villager state. One or the other.

He glances at Etho, who shrugs awkwardly at Impulse. He looks back at Iskall, who is still 'HMMM'-ing, increasingly furiously.

"Do you think he wants us to say something?" Etho asks.

"I mean, I guess?" Impulse says. "He could just ask."

"He's just going to keep humming at us, though," Etho says. "That's scary."

"Scary?" Impulse says, blankly.

"HMMMMM," Iskall says with an irritated expression.

"Scary," Etho confirms. Impulse sighs.

"Okay, I'll handle it. Hey, Iskall," Impulse says.

"Oh, I didn't see you there," Iskall blatantly lies.

"Right. You're, uh, sounding a bit concerned, buddy," Impulse says.

"Right, yes. Very concerned. Did you know you and Etho are already claimed? And, like, super cursed."

"Uh, I got a divorce with Cleo, you know," Etho says, completely straight-faced. "I'm a bachelor now. Not claimed by anyone."

"I'm not sure Bdubs and I ever got a divorce," Impulse says.

"No, no, not claimed like that! Claimed like--I did warn you all, yes? That my patrons would not like it if you came with other gods all over you? They get jealous of each other, let alone whoever you have... doing that to you."

Impulse and Etho glance at each other again. Impulse looks back at Iskall. "Yeah, I think I'd remember if I were claimed by any gods. I don't really... worship any, these days."

"If I worship any gods, Iskall, they're not the kind yours can do anything about," Etho says.

"What?" Impulse says.

"I mean, I'm old! I'm old, Impulse! I've met a lot of gods! Some of them I have opinions on!" Etho says.

"No, I've met yours too, they won't cause problems, yeah?" Iskall says.

"Thank goodness," Etho says.

"Sometimes I forget how old you two are," mutters Impulse. "That doesn't answer the whole... already claimed?"

"Yeah, like, it stinks off of you to me. It's like... you've got... someone's already claimed you to kill players, not mobs. And your health is all wonky. And you're keeping secrets or... kept secret? And don't even get me STARTED on how much time you have. All wrong. Who did you even find to do that to you?"

Impulse freezes.

"...the time was last season," he says, finally.

"Last season? What?" Iskall says.

"Yeah, that was--you know what, tell your gods not to worry about it," Impulse says. "I'm sure it's. Fine? Hey, wait, how can you tell?"

Iskall shakes his head like he's trying to knock something out of his ear. "They're annoying about it. Make whatever curse you're under go away while you're here or they're going to make it my problem. Mine! As though I can do anything about it. Go to the mortal world, they say. Bring your friends back here, they say. We want to meet them, they say. They're so annoying."

Etho, without skipping a beat, says: "Yeah, are those gods or the mother I saw last night?"

There's an ominous roll of thunder.

"Oh, definitely your mom," he says. There is a second, even more ominous roll of thunder happens, somehow entirely focused on Etho's location. Impulse decides to ignore it.

"I'll bother Grian about it," Impulse decides. He somewhat doubts Grian is a god--man, he really, really hopes Grian isn't a god, actually--but maybe he knows that Secret Keeper guy. That feels like the kind of guy who probably did this to them.

"Do that," Iskall says, and he wanders off to bother Stress.

Etho watches him go. "You know, maybe we should worry about the fact we're cursed because of the Life games. That seems, uh, bad," he says.

Impulse thinks about it and shrugs. "Eh, what's the worst that can happen?"

A long silence.

"Don't answer that," he tells the silence, before it can ominously thunder again. He knows the kinds of things that will lead to gods mocking him, after all.

A few months later from the last chapter

I woke up to caresses on my cheek and smiled to hear him let out a nasal laugh.

"Good morning."

"Good morning, love." he said huskily and kissed the tip of my nose. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, and you?"

"Of course." He climbs on top of me and starts kissing my neck. "We have to go to your mother's for her birthday lunch."

"hmmmmm." I let out a frustrated moan. "I don't wanna go."

"I know you don't, but we have to." He kisses me. "You have to sort it out soon."

"We don't have to sort ourselves out."

"Baby..."

"Charles, don't start, she owes me an apology, not me. She used to nag me and complain because I'd broken up with you and now that we're back she thinks everything will be the same as before. And she's wrong.”

"Fine, I won't interfere anymore."

"Thanks." I say and I feel him get up and take me in his arms and I start to laugh. "What are you doing?"

"We're going to take our shower and go to your parents' house."

"I swear I'm going to kill my dad for making this up."

"But it's your mother's birthday," he says, laughing.

"I know, but she never does anything and he's the one who convinced her to make this lunch."

"It'll be fine."

We were already in front of my parents' house.

No, I hadn't moved back to Monaco; on the contrary, I was still in the beautiful Milan and didn't intend to leave anytime soon.

For the first few months, Charles and I dated long-distance, seeing each other on weekends, holidays and celebrations.

After the kiss in the rain, we went back to his room and I'd say we did a pretty good job on destroying him. The next day, after breakfast, we sat down and talked like two adults about how we really felt about each other and how we were going to continue our relationship.

As neither of us was willing to move to another city, we decided that it would be good for us to start slowly, not least because living together is practically a marriage and we had a long way to go before we took that step.

So we lived those months apart and it turned out that Charles decided to live with me in Milan since it was closer to Maranello.

So on the weekend of my mother's birthday I came here to help him with the things he was going to take and as my father convinced my mother to do something for her birthday we had to stay longer than we had planned.

And my father planned it on purpose.

"Come on, let's go in." He took my hand and intertwined our fingers, with the other he held the present he'd bought.

"Hi honey, glad you could make it." My dad hugs me and greets Charles. "Hey, Charles."

"Hi guys, how are you?" I asked the Leclerc brothers as soon as I see them.

"Better now that you're here. Come on, we're all in the back." Lorenzo says and we follow him.

We followed him and the whole family was there, including my in-laws.

"My favorite couple has arrived." He goes straight to hug Charles. "How are you darling?"

"I'm fine and this is for you, mine and Y/n's."

"I have nothing to do with the present." I feel him give my mother a gentle squeeze. "Happy birthday, Mom."

"Thank you my love."

I roll my eyes at the difference between how she treats him and me, she didn't even look at me when I thanked her so I decided to leave her there drooling over Charles.

"Hello Mrs. Leclerc, how are you?"

"Fine, dear, and you?"

"I'm fine."

"Did you and Charles get everything sorted?"

"Yeah, since he's moving in with me he only needs to take what he uses."

"You don't know how happy I was to hear you were back together, Charles is even happier."

"That's good to hear, I was a bit unsure about that." She looks at me uncomprehendingly. "You know, a lot has happened to us in the past and I was afraid that maybe you wouldn't think it was such a good idea."

"You're the best possible person for him Y/n, Charles needed someone to make him smile again like I hadn't seen for years and you brought that smile back."

"It makes me happy to know that you're okay with it." She smiles and hugs me and from a distance I see my mother looking at us. "I'll be right back, okay?"

"No rush."

I start to walk towards her, who looks away, pretending she's not staring at us.

"Is everything all right?"

"Yes." she says, still not looking at me.

"I'm not going to waste my time then." I turn to leave but she holds my arm.

"Let's talk inside." She went and I followed her, and we stopped in the living room where there was no one.

"Tell me why you were staring at us and then pretended not to."

"It's just that I was watching you and Pescale and I saw the mother-daughter relationship you have and the lack of ours. I was upset by the scene."

"I'm annoyed when I come here and all I get is a dry hello while Charles gets smiles and hugs." She looks at me. "How do you think I feel about that?"

"You tell me."

"I feel awful, like you don't love me. I wish you'd been happy for me when I got a good job, when I moved out and started looking after myself, when I went to a place where I didn't know anyone and made a life for myself there, but all I got was a look of disappointment because I wasn't with Charles anymore."

"I've always been proud of you."

"And where is this pride that I don't see? Where was it when I achieved everything on my own?"

"I know I haven't been a good mother to you in recent years, but I was saddened by what happened to the two of you. And that's no excuse for the way I treated you but I just didn't know how to be your mother anymore."

"And instead of trying, you put me down, manipulated me and meddled in my life as if it were your own."

"I'm sorry for that, my love." I wiped away the tear that ran down my cheek. "Do you think we can start again?

"I don't know, do you?" she nods. "Then we'll have to establish some rules to make it work."

"Whatever you want." I agreed.

"Well, let's enjoy lunch and then we'll talk about it later."

We went back to the back patio and I went to my boyfriend who was talking to my aunt and my two-year-old cousin on his lap.

"You're good with children. Are you thinking of having children?"

"I want to, a lot actually but Y/n and I have only just settled down and I don't want to rush things, but for me we could have them now." My aunt smiles and looks at me and he follows her gaze, smiling nervously. "Hi love."

"Hi." I kissed him and sat down next to him and my aunt took my cousin and left.

"You heard, right?"

"Yes. Do you really want children that badly?"

"Yes, I do." I smiled and kissed him. "Don't you?"

"I never really thought about it after we broke up, but at the time I wanted to."

"Is there still a chance that you want to?"

"Yes, there is." He smiles happily and kisses my forehead.

"I'm glad."

"We can try after we've settled in with your move."

"Perfect."

2. Work you are most proud of (and why):

hmmmmm, that's a tough one! I love them all for different reasons, but I will say I'm very proud of Long Is the Road Out of Hell because it's my longest fanfic to date (almost 60k!) and at one point I really wasn't sure if I'd be able to finish it. but I did!

3. Work you are least proud of (and why):

tbh if I'm not proud of something, I won't publish it. but I think the work that frustrated me the most was Whiskey & Wine, my kinktober fic. I pushed myself too hard with too big of a goal and burnt myself out halfway through. but I did learn the importance of setting boundaries for myself (and why I need to be careful committing to challenges 😅)

4. A favorite excerpt of your writing:

not gonna lie, once I publish something, the words tend to leave my brain, so I don't always remember what I write lol. I should probably keep a doc of good lines from my fics so I have something to present when people ask me 😂 but here are two excerpts that I'm pretty proud of.

Devil in the Woods: He had loved her since the first time he opened his eyes to find her snuggled up on his chest. He had loved her longer, since the moment he’d held her in his arms on that endlessly rainy night. And longer still, he’d loved the little girl who played jacks with him on May Day and laughed at his wild antics.

Hooked on a Feeling: He knew he could be… a lot, as kinder people said. A goddamn nuisance, according to everyone else. He didn’t mean to be, he just tended to… latch on to things. Kind of like a bulldog (but in a nice and lovable way, thank you, Jeff). And right now he had ChrissyChrissyChrissy clamped tight between his jaws, and he hoped to god she didn’t ask him to let go.

5. Share or describe a favorite comment you received:

I have a few regular commenters who give me the longest, loveliest comments where they literally analyze each chapter section by section 😭 it makes me feel so loved. but as for one individual comment, I distinctly remember a commenter from one of my early fics commenting on a really tough scene I did re: chrissy's eating disorder. they said that they also had an eating disorder, and that chapter was very healing for them. I don't think I'll ever get another comment as powerful as that.

6. A time when writing was really, really hard:

I go in and out of mild anxious/depressive episodes, mostly due to outside stressors, and that makes it really hard to write. writing is the one constant joy in my life, and when I don't even feel like doing that, I know something is very, very wrong. but luckily, they don't usually last too long!

7. A scene or character that you wrote that surprised you:

mike's redemption arc in Long Is the Road! that one was a total curveball to me, and it only came about because it was the closest place I could think of to have Chrissy walk to after her mom kicked her out. total accident, but it spawned on of my favorite sibling-ships for chrissy that I've ever written!

also writing wayne's pov! i never intended to do that, but once I started, his voice just kind of stuck in my head 😂

8. How did you grow as a writer this year:

I wrote a lot. like over 300k of fanfic. and i even got back into writing some original fiction, which I'm so excited about!

I also started writing smut for the first time in 2023, which was something I never anticipated doing, let alone enjoying! but it's been super fun

9. How do you hope to grow next year:

I'd like to work more on my original fiction, maybe get a short story published. I'd also like to get better at world-building! I tend to get so focused on the characters that I forget they exist in a place I should spend some time creating lol

10. Who was your greatest positive influence this year as a writer (could be another writer or beta or cheerleader or muse etc etc):

@slumped-in-the-arms-of-fiction all the way! she's been such a wonderful beta reader, cheerleader, and overall positive influence on my writing. I Can't Get Rid of You wouldn't ever have happened without her support and feedback!

11. Anything in your real life show up in your writing this year:

ooh, buddy! pieces of myself get sprinkled all over the damn place 😂 but as for specifics...

Galentines and Valentines opening scene was reminiscent of the girls' nights me and my college friends used to have (and still have sometimes)

Hooked on a Feeling had elements of my own past experiences of being laid up in a hospital (and being very annoyed about it)

This Old Man was absolutely inspired by my love of Columbo

You Got Me Good definitely included some of my own thoughts and feelings about when I get a little too high 😂

12. Any new wisdom you can share with other writers:

give your writing time.

it's so tempting when you have a new idea to jump on it and then get frustrated when it doesn't immediately turn out the way you want, but I've found that if I give myself time to think over a piece before I write it, and let it sit for a little while after I write it, I'm much happier with the end results!

13. Any new projects you’re looking forward to starting (or finishing) in the new year:

finishing my three WIPs! and hopefully a little christmas fic 😂 I don't have anything else immediately in the works, thank god!

oh hmmmmm let's look at what i've seen that came out in the 2010s

great, really loved - tucker & dale vs evil (horror comedy that will always be famous. to me.); get out (i like us and nope as well but get out to me is like the tightest writing of the three. and then nope and then us.); it ch1 (i have a fond memory of seeing this on my birthday so i have a bias for it :]); annihilation (i love sci-fi horror films so fucking much. ik there's big differences between the book and the film but i cannot wait to read the book anyway!); mandy (i have got to get high and watch this. epic film)

good, decent film - black swan (i do not get what the discourse is around this movie. no it's not the most mind-blowing film experience but idk ppl act like there's nothing worth redeeming in it.); the cabin in the woods (this is a p good movie, do not get me wrong, but it would've been better without the joss whedon stink on it); paranorman (will probably get bumped up a notch once i've rewatched it tbh); what we do in the shadows (mockumentaries i love u); crimson peak (can i just take a sec to say media literacy is ass on this site bc of that one post about crimson peak.); green room (wanna rewatch this one bc its premise is right up my alley); the boy (benefits from Better Than I Was Expecting); happy death day (groundhog day plots are really hit or miss for me but i did like this one. i support women's wrongs.); a quiet place (i need to see the sequels bc i hear day one is good but this was def a unique premise and i liked how the end product turned out); color out of space (goes on a touch too long imo but i'd love to watch it again); us (i still enjoy us just not as much as get out or nope. there's some clunkiness in us.)

a little mediocre but i'll put it on - my soul to take (no real notes on this one other than not being big happy w its ending); grave encounters (probs a little higher up on the meter bc i do enjoy saying 'im lance preston and this is grave encounters' at random); american mary (also on the higher up side bc i'd like it to have been. idk. gorier? also the ending felt kinda anticlimactic.); the babadook (film got spoiled for me long before i sat down to watch it. my partner despises it. i just wanna know why no one has pointed out that the kid is obviously autistic and him being presented as a burden is kinda fucked up); hereditary (i think this is a decent melodrama, and ari aster is not untalented, but oh my gooooood people piss me off about this movie lmao and the mom sounds exactly like my mother.); mom and dad (the parts w the parents i think are much stronger than the parts w the kids but interesting concept for a short story.); it ch2 (i think it doesn't quite match up to pt 1 but it's not bad. i might rewatch it and see how i feel.), ready or not (i'd love to rewatch this one and have my mind changed on it)

A band you don’t like that many others do: UM idk...my music taste is all over the place and I really only know the bands i think?? oh- maybe Mother Mother, only because I have not bothered to listen to their music past Junkrat hype videos and that's probably tainted my view a little. A childhood memory that you remember vividly: during a summer in greece, idk how, but I got roped into selling watermelons off the side of the road. I couldn't have been more than 6 or 7, but I remember I would put the watermelon in a plastic bag and the farmers thought it was really funny because that's such a...united states thing...to bag 1 whole watermelon in plastic. Anyways, they paid me in cucumber slices with salt.

Least favorite animal and why: HUH LEAST. I'm not a huge fan of like reptiles? Specifically those smaller than a bread box. Too fast, too squirm. Im worried I'll crush them in my hands. (im thinking of specifically florida geckos...idk they are cute but i freak out trying to hold them).

Do you wear any jewelry, if so, what’s your favorite piece: I try an rotate my jewelry around but I'm usually wearing a few rings, a necklace and a pair of earrings. My favorites are the rings. They are my mom's old ones and I typically wear the same two every day. One is a gold key of greece and the other is a thin black bar but the sides have really small thin heart cut outs.

Three things you love about yourself: my writing- its something that I enjoy the most in the world and something that I can claim as mine. List three things you find beautiful about life: Friends and family- sometimes I want to kill but I really do love them so so much. I like creating things and creating things with people. I also really like my area as far as nature goes. the beach to swamp ratio sings to me.

"I saw him sneaking about or heard it. My devil or my mom Fira told me something was off when she was sensing someone else besides the other fire demon and our warriors lurking around. I get the feeling that was true given how she is." she said with arms crossed.

"Then..what happened???" Ophelia asked eating some thing.

"Geez, this is annoying. The suitors just won't stop coming and it's getting to be a pain in the ass. How long does this have to go on?" she was looking at some notes in her room all ready for bed but she knew her friends were already speaking about this guy. She was a silver haired female werewolf demon that’s known for being the strongest female in the demon world. Or in her domain here in the demon world. She’s able to control and use Ice-fire A ability to create fire of freezing temperatures, fire so cold it burns whoever it touches. However, her pack or followers were either fire werewolf demons or ice werewolves or a mix of both.

"Hmmmmm......Your son marries her?"

"Yes yes yes! I think they would be strong and cute together! Though, it's just a idea if you wish.." She said smiling with her son T-bone there but he was always told that Fira was a strong dangerous female demon. But given how she was, he believes that. He was remaining quiet hearing his mom talking to Maggie's mom but while he did, he did pick up some random new scent. A strong but stinky one.

"Hmmmm..."

"So what do you think?" she asked but Fira sighed looking to her friend.

"I don't know. Many of the suitors that came were not strong and I don't want my daughter to marry a weakling. But I know T-bone is a strong young man true.....but I would like to see some proof of that's fine.."

"Proof? Sure we can if you like but how should we prove it to you?" she asked with Fira thinking. "Well..." As she was starting to think, T-bone caught the smell again to blink.

Outside, Bradley was looking for a way out but it was pretty hot here given they were in the hell fire side of the demon realm. "Hold on my beloved, I shall get us out of here and we shall marry! Though, somewhere more cooler this place is a boiling pot." Bradley said running down the stairs holding Maggie.

"Grrrrrr put me down! I don't want to marry you!"

"Oh nonsense, you will love the wedding! I already got our theme and something to make you beautiful. You might have to lose a little weight though-"

"That fool! He is getting near the fire pits! It's too dangerous down there!" One guard said.

"Is he trying to burn her!?!?" another said. Bradley kept running but he was laughing still running about to get through the gates.

"Finally, we are free my dear! Now we can get married and be together forever!" he smiled but Maggie growls at him wanting to burn him alive. 'And don't worry, the effects will wear off in a little while so how about we get to know one another hmm?" he said. Before taking a step something surrounds him and Maggie showing some ice wall?

"HEY! Put Maggie down you asshole!"

Maggie blinks as Bradley turns seeing T-bone there but he was walking over as Bradley laughed.

"Who the hell are you!?"

"I'm a friend to Maggie. I suggest you put her down or else you'll regret it!" T-bone was not happy seeing him holding her like that. And getting her in a dangerous location. He was always told of the fire pits in her kingdom was dangerous.

"Huh?? Never! She's mine! I kidnapped her fair and square!" he said holding her tight. Maggie struggles trying to get loose but he was annoyed.

"Put me down you idiot!"

"Besides, we are going to get married so you might as well give up! She's mine!" he laughed but T-bone glares to growl.

"I said put her down.....I'm not going to ask you again!" he said but Bradley smirked to look but he only backs up. He was getting way too close to one of the pits.

"Why should I? She's mine! Besides, all women belong to me even this cutie here. Though, she's a bit ehhhh tall for my tastes but still make it work." he said.

"What the hell-MAGGIE IS FINE JUST THE WAY SHE IS! DON'T YOU BE SHOWING DISRESPECT TO HER LIKE THAT!" he said but Maggie blinks hearing T-bone say that.

"Huh? But it's true. She looks a bit chunky but maybe if she did lose some weight she might fit into the wedding dress I got her.."

"You asshole!" Maggie said now furious at him.

"Now now darling, we are talking.." he said smiling but T-bone heard enough that he was closing his hand into a fist. "However, we shall take our leave now! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!" He laughed before rushing to run away.

As he turned, he accidentally trips to fall but right into one of the fire pits!!!!

Now, both Bradley and Maggie were falling into the fire pit. As Bradley was seeing fire and spikes at the bottom he lets Maggie go as she was free falling. "Oh dang it!"

"YOU IDIOTTTTTTT!!" Maggie roars as she was trying to do something. Though, something else happened. A flash of something blue came down into the fire pits but Maggie shuts her eyes till something catches her in their arms and Bradley was shouting for them to help him.

The guards, Minx, and Fira gets to the fire pit but looks to see a ice spear showing but it didn't melt due to the intense heat of Maggie's kingdom. Maggie didn't open her eyes but she was held by someone.

"Maggie, you okay?" She opens her eyes hearing the voice then looks seeing T-bone!? He was the one that saved her while having werewolf ice ears and a long tail behind him. She did feel some cold from him but it was not effecting her???

"..I......."

"Maggie!? Are you alright!?" Fira asked but T-bone carefully sets her down to her feet but at least she was safe and the effects from Bradley's power was going away.

"Yeah, I'm..I'm fine thanks to T-bone." she said but he was happy to see that she was safe. In the meantime, the guards were shouting seeing Bradley hanging onto the ice even if it was hurting his hands from being fire-ice.

"That's good to hear your safe Maggie! We didn't know that guy sneaked into the kingdom like that! Thanks to T-bone your safe!" Minx smiled but Maggie sighed but T-bone was happy to see that she was safe.

However, the guards got Bradley out but was tied up now. He groans being thrown on the ground in front of Maggie and T-bone. He blinks to tense seeing Maggie now furious at him.

"Uhhhhh..I was joking?" he laughed scared.

"YOU WERE NOT JOKING! HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT ABOUT MAGGIE! SHE'S BEAUTIFUL JUST THE WAY SHE IS!" T-bone said mad. Maggie blinks hearing that to look at him.

"B..but I only said she looked chubby! I figured she would lose a few pounds-"

"STOP TALKING ILL ABOUT HER! MAGGIE IS FINE! SHE'S BEAUTIFUL! SHE'S THE BEST AND YOU DARE SAY THAT ABOUT HER! YOUR A DICK YOU KNOW THAT!"

Maggie blinks but her eyes widen a bit but her face flushed pink. 'He really thinks that?' she thought.

"Uhhhhh.......it's not my fault females take it bad when it comes to weight.." he mutters but tenses hearing angry growling from Maggie who was crackling her knuckles and T-bone too. Their eyes were glowing looking at him.

"You know I'm done hearing this asshole talk. So how about we beat him up together?" He suggested that she blinks to smirk.

"W..wait a second! Lets talk about this!?" he said about to back up but screams getting beaten up by Maggie and T-bone.

No wonder Ink went to Ashley's kingdom to find T-bone's own but their kingdoms were close to one another but she was happily thanking T-bone for saving her teammate and friend.

"Well, we are all happy you are safe Maggie. We owe T-bone for this." Hellmare said sweetly.

"Yeah.....I'm glad he was there that night. If not, I Might not be here." she mutters but the other girls noticed something. Was their a tint of pink in her cheeks???

"Uhhh Maggie? You okay?" Ophelia asked.

"I'm good."

"Then, did you also find a suitor or did the suitors stopped bugging you now?" Ink asked.

"Ehhh you could say that." she said looking away but the girls blinks only to look at her then thinks. "What?"

"Were so happy for you Maggie. We knew you would find someone. And it's someone that likes you for you." Hellmare said.

"Thanks. I didn't know that he did feel that way about me. At least he likes me for me..he even told that asshole I was...B..beautiful just the way I was. He rather see me happy but he'll be there by my side." she mutters.

"and here we thought you said this was dumb.." Hellmare teased for Maggie to blush worse hiding her face as her flaming red hair was glowing again.

"Oh hush." she said as the girls smiled happy for their friend. The other girls were happy but thank goodness Maggie was safe. Now, she was happy while rubbing the ring. It was designed by him personally but she felt some of his demonic energy inside of it knowing he's always there for her. Just like her with him. And thanks to this, Fira sees T-bone worthy of marrying her.

Eins has a younger half-sister! They're not super close because they became half-siblings when Eins was already an adult but they're very affectionate w their family so they'd still kill for her... she's in her angsty teen phase now but Eins is unflappable so they're still like Yay family time ^_^ I love my sister who wants to kill me sometimes <333

3. Who was your Tav raised by?

Eins' mom is a cambion and their dad is a Zariel tiefling, so I'd like to think other tieflings recognize they've got a little more devil in them than most... I do think the vestigial wings they have in-game eventually sprout to become small wings- not large enough to fly with but enough to be really cute. Now they gotta DIY their outfits to be backless. But their parents divorced when they were young so Eins was mostly raised by their mom and her new Halfling wife!!! They're so in love it warms Eins' heart but could be sickening to the cynical crowd...

4. Is your Tav close with whoever raised them?

Eins doesn't stay in touch with their dad but DOES stay in touch w their moms... until the tadpole. They were too afraid to write- What would they write? Would their parents try to come looking for them and only find a mind flayer? Would it put them in danger?- so I imagine they come home one night after months of no communications and get the biggest earful of their life...

15. Answered this so I'll answer number... 9! Eins has the criminal backstory, which for me amounts to doing odd, less than legal jobs, occasionally stealing, and making temporary allegiances whenever it suited them... it was generally in pursuit of the greater good though. They've used their skills as a fighter to intimidate patriars, worked construction for a while, worked at a clothier until the store owner realized they were just giving outfits away for free and didn't gaf about making any profit... what a rascal

16. What's your Tav's favorite childhood memory?

Probably festival time!!! IDK what festivals are like in Baldur's Gate but I love the idea of little Eins dressing up to go listen to music and dance <3 they have music in their SOUL they should have been a bard TBH but they lack any and all musical talent. Kind of unrelated but when they make you play a song to [character you haven't met yet so I won't spoil it] I imagined it going just abysmally, real charlie kelly energy, so someone else had to step in and finish the job LMAO.

23. Share any hcs/anything you want to say about your Tav's backstory

HMMMMM well pre magic mirror update I had the headcanon that Eins changed their primary sex characteristics at random depending on the day (which has now become canon, thanks Larian!). They love sweetbreads, sometimes they lie about stupid things that don't matter just to see if anyone notices, they love to sing when they travel which used to get on everyone's nerves but once they all got a little closer it became charming, even to lae'zel (one of their closest friends who loves to hate on them all the time)

Also for a more serious headcanon I imagine that shortly after meeting Sebastian in Cazador's crypts Eins runs into a friend of theirs in that same cell, who had been taken only weeks before. But suddenly it all feels too real- the hypothetical "would it have been me in that cage?" that Astarion couldn't answer, didn't even want to think about, becomes a very resounding "yes". I think Astarion even tries to defend it- like it wasn't me! one of my siblings! she's only been in there for a few weeks!- It's the only time the companions have ever seen Eins that angry, angry at Cazador, angry at the world that let this happen, angry that so many people are considered this disposable... and they do lash out at Astarion when he tries to ascend as a result. Not one of their proudest moments, the both of them. But they came out of it OK, or as OK as they can be <3

Sam does have a driver's license! His wife Calamari had to teach him to drive because nobody ever taught him lahds;lgkhasdg he has a huge family, so they just have a big family van. He doesn't drive anything other than that tho!

Hmmmmm. 1. Sam manages Off The Hook, that's like, his full time job. I think most people that are my friends know that but it's just an interesting fact for anyone reading!! 2. Despite the previous fact, Sam's favorite muscial genre is classical! He LOVES classical music! This man goes to classical concerts for fun. 3. His full name is Samuel L. Osa but if you put Sam osa together it's literally....Samosa. obviously. i made his whole family at first entirely based off of food.

Oh boy this is a loaded one. Sam's immediate birth family is John, Mimi, his and his siblings Olive, Brie and Vin. His parents were not good parents at all, and he left with his siblings from a pretty young age. He doesn't know his extended family on either mom or dad's side, but he considers his spouses' families as his own! His wife Calamari's family (Ban and Nan, Emperor, Prince, and Pearl) is pretty much his own. He also is married to a guy named Rino, and of course Marie (yes that marie) so Callie is pretty close to. He really is just happy and closest to his family. His spouses, his children, his siblings.

Sam is REALLY scattered about eating. He didn't really always have food growing up, and so like....he is just as scattered as an adult about eating as he was when he was young. When he's at home, he tries to be home in time for dinner for whatever his husband cooked for dinner, but sometimes he works so late with Pearl and Marina that he has to grab something on the way home, if he eats at all. When he's on tour with Pearl and Marina Pearl always wants to eat at weird places, fancy places so he ends up going with them. I love this question

Sam actually does know CPR! His wife Calamari has heart problems, and later on so does one of his sons so he's always ready. He doesn't have any other real medical expertise though :(

charlie had the knack for literally almost dying in random physical activities. this is the nth time this month and cameron thought it'd be best to be the one to keep watch on charlie this time so Neil could get a break from always being charlie's pseudo guardian.

Sometimes I just need my found family fix. And if I can't have that with the cumbling, er, destroyed Southlands then the Red Lifers will do.

There's something about the inherent loneliness of Red Lifers that compels them to seek out companionship especially from people that will understand them. Also, the fact that Magic Mountain can work is a plus.

I want Scar to laugh while pulling out twigs and leaves from Joel's hair bc being intimidating can be tiring at times.

I want Joel to give the other Red Lifers handmade combs that he made when he was still the only Red Life roaming around the server.

I want Lizzie to teach the boys how to braid their own hair. I want her to look at them before deciding that they needed to know how to make her special shampoo.

I want Jimmy to grow his hair out. Letting Lizzie mess with it anyway she wants, every other day he'd sport a new style of braid.

I want Skizz help out with the gathering of materials needed for Lizzie's special shampoo. I want him to grow fond of his fellow Red Life bc it's not just him trying to make the alliance friendship work, not like the last team that failed him. It's not in their nature; no Red Life wanted to be alone.

Sometimes I think about the fact that Red Life people don't have to worry about their Red Life friend being the boogeyman. Do they trust each other more? It just feels like there is more distrust between Green and Yellow Lifers than there is between Red Lifers.

Just hmmmmm. Red Life found family, yes.

Rel lives have such a quality time form of love language which is so opposite for how they are around green and yellow lives. I love it because they have the thought process of realizing at that moment they're hated by everyone on the server but the other red lives and they need to stick together and help out.

Like imagine them just helping out whenever one of them needs it in the way that red lives have to live. Joel is worried a trap he set won't go off so he gets mumbo to help cause that man is now their resident redstone genius. Mumbo looks it over and is like "it's good but this is how you improve it" and they just spend the day talking about tnt.

My favorite thing is how Lizzie and Joe just don't even try to hide the fact they're married even with it being more of an rp server. So the red lives are just watching like you know how kids get disgusted everytime their mom and dad kiss they get like that every time Joel and Lizzie start flirting. Joel will compliment Lizzie and the red lives will start complaining like "too much love not enough death."

They probably trust each other more right now but have this underlying knowledge one day they'll have to turn on each other. They ignore it more than the green and yellow lives though because for now all they have are each other.
