guys i was playing eric cartmans version of poker face on Spotify while getting my sketchbook and i tossed it onto my bed but it hit my computer and the whole computer screen fell off but spotify kept playing and i panicked so i shoved it back in and it looks fine now like nothing happened.

The guards greeted Bastian warmly as he approached the Rimmen Palace. He gave a polite acknowledgment in return while they opened the heavy ornate doors for him. Normally he wouldn't hesitate to spend a few minutes of small talk with the guards he had become so familiar with, but there too much on his mind at the moment to even consider it. Bastian was on a mission: find his wife and figure out why she disappeared that morning before he woke.

A voice at the back of his mind nagged him that his dear Ebonymist might be hiding something from him. Or, at the very least, not telling him the whole truth. He knew for certain it wasn't infidelity, oh no. Neither would ever consider such a thing. But for the life of him, he couldn't place what might be bothering her.

It was sheer and utter exhaustion. For the last week or so, Eb had given him Oblivion about waking up in the mornings. Khajiit typically took a little longer to get moving right at first light, so this wasn't entirely unusual. But she would sleep so deeply now, even accidentally dropping a pan in the kitchen barely made her budge. In fact, she was in such a deep sleep the one day, Bastian had to physically shake her shoulders to rouse her.

He also remembered just the other day, when they were sitting on the [couch/sofa/etc.], the sound of snoring directly in his ear startled him from his reading. To which he found Ebony had fallen asleep on his shoulder, her body practically molded to his as the nap overcame her. At the time he found it quite sweet and endearing. Now, however, Bastian realized it was another circumstance where exhaustion randomly took over.
