favourite colour: Red, like a deep luscious red that you know would taste good if you licked it. Don't act innocent, you know exactly what I mean by that. Red is a color that you just know tastes good.

last book: I am currently trying to read the Witcher series (per @lickthecowhappy's suggestion) so I am at the start of the Last Wish

last movie: Moana 2 (I have young kidsssss)

last TV show: My oldest is almost 10 which means she stays up late. Which also means I have so little time to watch adult things. So we've been watching the Office with her. I think I want to watch the Good Place with her next tho (I've never watched it!)

sweet/spicy/savoury: Sweet followed very, very closely by spicy. Habanero maple syrup is one of my favorite things on the planet.

last thing i searched online: How to explain a 10 year career hiatus in a cover letter (looking to return to work since having kids. It's been an interesting experience so far).

current obsession: Have not moved on from Good Omens, but recently realized that my obsession may be more in my own little connected universe of fics that I wrote rather than the actual canon at this point😳. I'm sure once we get that first glimpse of red and white hair that will change very quickly.

looking forward to: Going back to work and having a more established adult life again, honestly. I've been so lucky to be home with my kids while they are young, but I am ready. And figuring out how my newfound passion for writing is going to fit into that new life of mine. Another big year of change over here for me, and I am eagerly looking forward to how the growing pains are going to make way for something beautiful beyond.

Lemme tell you the story of how the twins don't really like their younger brother Bart. 😒🙄

It all started when Lila @lilacura introduced Bartholomew to me saying how this was now our son and how she gave birth to him (of course i agreed) . During this moment she had also sent the pic to Jade @jade-jini and Keer @keervah oh my god they did NAWTTT like him and called him uglyyy😭 (LIKE DAMN LEAVE THE BABY ALONEEEEEEE HE DID NOTHINGGGGGGG). Everytime Lila and I bring up bart the twins were always like "ugh i thought you forgot about him" or "ugh he's not my brother" LIKEEEEEEE 🥲 ITS OUR BABY WHY WOULD WE FORGETTTTT AND WHY R U SO MEANNNNNNN!!! LIke they gotta learn to love him but they dont wanna CAUSE HE'S UGLY??????? LIKE BFFR. BUT GUESS WHATTTTT THEY ARE FINALLY GETTING USED TO HIM ( they still dont like him) BUT WE ARE FINALLY GETTING SOMEWHEREEEEE!!!!! jade is just being nice cause she wants fortnite things AND KEERRRR THE #1 BART HATER FINALLY COUNTS HIM AS ONE OF LILA'S AND I'S KIDS!!!!! (she was calculating how many kids lila and I have now and she was like 3) GUYSSSS WE ARE GETTING SOMEWHEREEEEEEEEEE🤪🥳🎉 but lila and I welcomed another baby a fur baby (the family pet) named riri :3 and shes is a little flirttttttt 😭 but lila and i love her cs she talks like us 😭. and when Lila and I were telling Jade and keer about their new sibling they were like ??????? ARE YOU A FURRY (like okay. what the actual fuck.) WE WERE GONNA ASK JADE AND KEER TO NAME RIRI BUT NooooOoOOoOOOoo THEY WANNA BE RUDE. so we asked sienna!! @kittyl1z she was no help at first, wanting us to name riri stephen curry🧍‍♀️like okay. no. BUT SHE GAVE US THE NAME RIRI SO WE TOOK IT AND RAN WITH ITTTT (we were gonna name riri Liyuh "Leah" but riri was too iconic and too good) But yesssssss lila and I now have 4 kidsssss. :3

Tye Talks: A Diary Entry

Hi friends <3 Happy Friday! I'm sooooo glad it's the weekend.

Work

Ooooof! What a long day but good day. My senior and I finally finalised the assignment and test questions for our students. The thing I'm most chuffed about is the increase in word count lol. I can't speak for others, but personally, I am a yapper ... I can never stick to the word count lmaooo … so I knew exactly how my students felt. Anywho, I'm glad they have more space to make a thorough analyses, especially considering the level they are expected to be at.

As always, my fulltime job is SOMETHING. I mistakenly opened up a can of worms. It truly was not my intention lol. But, in my defence, it was a colleague's job to inform the boss about this hurdle... I did not even know it was a hurdle lol ... I found out at the same time as my boss. But hey, that's none of my business.

I also found a job I want to apply to ... but it's soooo evident that they shared it with the public for the sake of it lmao. While I’m convinced they most likely already found someone for the job, I'm still giving it a shot.

Uni

I made zero progress on my thesis today ... I was so preoccupied with work. I'm very very annoyed with myself.

Health

Is this tmi? Maybe? Apologies if so.

Anyway, my PMS symptoms are absolutely killing me. At one point I could not walk bc my back felt as if it was on fire. Thank god for hot water bottles and heat patches. Forever my beloved.

Mentally, I'm doing ok. Tbh, I haven't had much time to think about anything other than work.

Fun and mundane

Met up with my good friend for an iced coffee and a pastry, did a bit of grocery shopping and finally got my new duvet. I also made a dumb purchase ... but we move lmao. I'm young ok.

Then, my colleagues and I met up for a early dinner. Omfg I had the yummiest steak and frites + arugula salad. That pepper sauce?? DIVINE.

Also, but idk why I'm so surprised to hear about colleagues having KIDSSSSS lol. They are much older than me ... but since we get along super well I don't really think about it and I always thought it would be rude to ask yk? Kids are always a sensitive topic.

Mel sent me a Love is Blind clip … and now I’m really keen on starting the show. It’s giving MESS. My absolute fave.

My family and friends are doing well. Forever grateful to have them in my life <3
