lil drabble abt bakugo dating a curly haired girl, just because :3

“what do you mean it takes over an hour for you to do your hair?!” katsuki asks, concern lacing his voice.

“katsuki, with curls like these did you really expect otherwise?” i respond while taking gel through my hair.

katsuki and i planned to go out later today, but he came to my house a little earlier than i expected him to.

therefore, i was still getting ready for our date when he showed up.

right now, i was finishing up my hair, adding the finishing touches to my wash and go hair routine.

the bathroom was now crowded with smells of clean vanilla and fruit due to the hair products that i used, a smell that i knew katsuki loved.

“i mean, i guess that makes sense, but still…you don’t have to spend so much time on your hair just to go out with me” he says.

i roll my eyes at his statement, that was such a boyish thing to say.

“you’re such a boy, you just don’t get it.” i respond, walking out of my bathroom.

he trails behind me, yapping both some “what you mean i don’t understand?! i take care of myself!”

as we’re making our way out of the house, he stops me.

“listen, what i meant was that i’d go out with you no matter how you look, i think you always look great so…”

i smile at his statement, warmth flushing my cheeks.

“thank you, katsuki.” i say as i get up on my tip toes to place a kiss on his cheek.

his face softens at this action.

“no, give me a real kiss.” katsuki demands.

he leans down and grabs my face, gently shoving his lips against mine.

katsuki knew to not touch my head after i did my hair routine.

he knew that if he were to grab or touch my hair while it was freshly washed and styled, that it would soon become frizzy after it dries.

and to avoid hearing my complaints about my hair not looking perfect, he complied with the “no touching my hair right after the routine” rule.

as we’re kissing, his tongue pokes the inside of my mouth, making me honestly crave more.

katsuki then pulls away, reminding me that we’re about to go out on a date.

i go and grab my purse, but i’m immediately stopped by him.

“you serious, y/n? you know i always pay when we go out, now let’s go.”

Bakugo walks into your shared apartment to see you in the living room surrounded by packages, all excitedly torn open with discarded bubble wrap lying around you. Various Dynamight themed trinkets are littered at your feet, everything from keychains to can badges and exclusive cafe coasters.

He chuckles to himself while placing his boots in the closet by the door. “Go on another shoppin’ spree, sweets?”

You turn your head away bashfully, tapping your fingers against your thighs. “…yeah. Someone was selling a bunch of limited edition merch.”

Bakugo strolls into the living room and observes all the items on the floor. He leans down to leave a kiss on your cheek before turning to head for the bathroom to shower.

“Ya know I can get ya that shit for free, babe,” he calls over his shoulder. “I am Dynamight.”

“I know!” You answer, picking up one of the keychains and smiling. “Just being a supportive girlfriend is all.”
