“why don’t you have a dni?”

(clarifying a few things re: recent strawpage messages)

my lack of a dni is not meant to suggest i, pink, personally engage with fandom content indiscriminately. i curate my feed independently based on my preferences. what i mean by “no dni” is literally that i don’t care who interacts with my content — because if i don’t like it, i just block or remove it. for me, it really is that simple

i don’t have notifications on and have no failproof way of moderating my audience, nor do i have the time to. dni or not, i’ve come online expecting that no matter what, anything i post for public consumption is liable to be… consumed. and consumed indiscriminately. this is also why i personally don’t have any strong feelings about the use of my work

when i ask you not to “be strange,” i’m asking you to at least have the courtesy to be mindful about the nature of my art and my account. it is sfw (or at most, suggestive). it makes no sense for anyone to bring explicitly nsfw themes to the table when interacting with it. but that said, i don’t lead with the assumption that strangers online are going to be respectful, so i just opt to take matters into my own hands when/if i see fit

i have no dni because i don’t like the idea of entrusting responsibility for MY internet experience to strangers online, many of whom are minors. i would much rather take responsibility into my own hands and block at will. if people feel differently about the purpose of dni, then that’s their opinion to have. it has no bearing on mine and mine has none on theirs

tl;dr do what you want, but do so knowing that i, as much as anyone, reserve the right to protect my interests

Do you relate more to Bakugou, Todoroki, or neither?

bakugou. if this was 2016 kinnie tumblr he would probably be real close to the center of my kin onion. when i write things with him in it i tend to favor his pov as my narrative voice. i like seeing the others thru his eyes because it feels the most natural to me

How realistic do you think Villain Shouto is?

in a world without class A (+ izuku, who was the catalyst for growth at the sports festival. keyword catalyst. not sole cause, but catalyst) … probably pretty realistic

shouto kind of said it himself yk. how easily he could’ve turned out like touya had he not found his own way with the help of his friends and mentors. this is why in AUs where shouto never gets that support i tend to write him being Not The Best. he has the capacity (and the desire) to be good but he also has the capacity to reach very low lows imo. duality of man
