She's specifically Mexican-Korean in my head- Why that specific combination, I couldn't tell you, but that's just how she is to me.

She has a few scars on her hands and arms just from the shenanigans that naturally arise from being Skid's Mom. I like to imagine that it'd imply the same level of chaos happening offscreen as the amount we do get to see.

The scar on her shoulder is from ~nebulous spooky Cult stuff~ but if you asked her, she'd just say it was from a cooking accident.

maybe its weird to be so attached to a fictional guy especially to cling to him within moments even though i barely knew anything about him… hes just so awesome i couldnt resist i guess

umm i have a life sized ethan cardboard cutout that i made staring at me right now but hes still cardboard color, i need to paint him or something. i also have an ethan shirt and its like literally my favorite thing ever that i own but recently its got a little chip in the design which makes me nervous. i ALSO have 3 ethan keychains (well… technically 2. my gay lover got me one but hasnt given it to me yet (side eye emoji))

all the characters i resonate with are men, anddd usually blonde. ethan is at the top of that list obviously!!! maybe thats not important but it feels like it leave me alone

i got one of my friends into re7/8, and they just finished 8. they streamed the end of it and we both ended up bawling our eyes out because it was so sad. i cry every time i watch the end of 8, which is probably more often then i should be.

It’s so annoying seeing all of the discourse around party poisons gender in particular. Like me personally? I see them as non-binary trans masc who is also gender non conforming. why? Because I am and I like to project on my favorite characters (personally I see Fun Ghoul as also being trans femme and gender non conforming. Genderfuckery T4T couple I love them dearly).

Does that at all mean I dislike any trans femme headcanons around party poison in particular? ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT. I actually LOVE trans femme Poison and I would fucking die for them. Mark my words.

It is totally ok to acknowledge that other headcanons are valid and deserve love even if you don’t personally headcanon them yourself. It is ENTIRELY normal actually, in fact I think people who care way too MUCH about trans femme party poison are the weird ones here, not the ones who think poison is a trans woman or trans femme.

Dune by Frank Herbert - this is like my one fav i can never quite articulate because it's just. so perfect to me. it changed my life though and i love it with my whole heart.

The Feeling of Falling in Love by Mason Deaver - this is the book i'm known for. this is the book i've gotten enough people to read that i've lost count. this is the book i've gained friendships because of. it's a t4t YA romcom that is equal parts tender, loving, emotional growth and absolute tomfoolery. i love it so dearly i genuinely cannot express to you how much i love this book it is my main special interest outside of chemistry i am being so serious.

sci fi & fantasy favs:

Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler - ok it's more spec fic than anything but you get the point. this book is about radical hope and its importance in the face of despair and oppression. set in 2024, written in the 90s, required reading if you haven't already. also "god is change" fundamentally altered my approach to deconstruction so there's that too.

Masters of Death by Olivie Blake - like a gaiman novel but written by a good person! very gay, very messy, literal games of the gods. your main character is a vampire real estate agent and she wants to sell this haunted house but the ghost haunting it won't leave. the godson of Death is like a cunty asshole but you also kind of love him? god it's an insane premise and i LOVE it.

The Ninth Rain by Jen Williams - this is what epic fantasy should be. the MC is like what if indiana jones was a Black lesbian and it absolutely rocks. empires on the brink of collapse, potential incoming apocalypse, running from the authorities, all the good stuff.

contemporary and litfic favs:

On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous by Ocean Vuong - i read this for the first time as a newly discovered queer 15 year old in my gender in lit and film class and my one memory from that experience is hearing my teacher read the line "do you think we'll be fags forever?" out loud and me immediately crying. i've since reread it and that line still ruins me, but it's also just a phenomenal exploration of queerness in the midst of being raised by and being an immigrant in White america. vuong writes this novel as a letter to a mother who the author knows cannot read english, which is art if i ever saw it. vuong is a poet writing prose and it shows in the most beautiful way.

If You Still Recognize Me by Cynthia So - this is for the fandom girlies (gn)!!! there's a bit where our MC says something to the effect of "i can't wait to read her fic and type out a comment saying 'i hate you for ruining my life!!' when really i mean 'i love you i love you i love you'" AND IT GOT ME IN MY FEELS. anyway this book had me like that one spider-man meme.

Old Enough by Haley Jakobson - i bring you an excerpt from my review: This novel is for the cringefail queers. It's for the young queers. It's for the queers who tried a little too hard when they came out. It's for the queers who tried to hold onto their closeted life in one way or another for a little too long. It's for the queers who feel that they never really came of age; the ones who maybe still are. What I'm saying is, this book is for me. It's about me in many ways.

Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin - a queer classic for a reason. this novel explores masculinity through repressed queerness and self loathing and i think it altered my brain chemistry in the process. such a poignant and tragic piece of literature.

nonfic favs:

The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin - this book unironically changed my life, baldwin is a genius. my copy is marked up to shit and i'm sure when i inevitably reread it i will mark it up even more. i immediately described this book as "timeless and thought provoking" upon finishing and i stand by that. this book was published over 60 years ago but so much of it still rings true. it's largely memoir, told through letters. it touches on race, masculinity, religion, and in many ways, radical hope.

Freedom is a Constant Struggle by Angela Y Davis - required reading for any leftist in my opinion. this emphasizes the important of collectivities and community care when organizing and fighting injustice. genuinely this novel reshaped the way i view community care (what it means, how to do it, etc etc). a foundational text on abolition and organizing as well. it emphasizes how freedom movements and fights for liberation are inherently connected. this book's thesis is "freedom for all or freedom for none" and by god it does a damn good job of communicating that.

The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green - this book is part memoir, part love letter to the human story and i loved every moment of it. i think of how john reminds you in this novel that while not being able to see your future may mean not foreseeing the horrors, it also means not foreseeing the joy and wonder that awaits you. i think of how he describes hope as a "prerequisite for my survival" and how that has grown into the core of my politic. i think of how this book taught me that cynicism is unsustainable and we do a disservice to ourselves and each other when we give into it

special categories of favs specifically for the books about being mixed race that made me feel seen and real:

A Mind Spread Out on the Ground by Alicia Elliot - i wrote a whole essay about this one chapter out of this book because of how much it resonated but, in short: this is a sobering memoir to say the least. elliot tells the story of her life as a mixed race, First Nations indigenous woman through a collection of essays. she covers topics such as colonialism, racism and racialization, and misogyny. there's this one essay in particular that will always stick out to me personally as a mixed person, Half-Breed: A Racial Biography in Five Parts. it explores this specific grief around being mixed, around having privilege your non mixed family doesn't, around having to use that privilege to protect them. it's the best literary explanation i have ever found for the feelings i've held for so long. overall though, this novel is a great example for what i mean when i say the person is political. just, really good all around if you're looking for memoir.

The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett - i read this book for the first time when i was like 15 and i really ought to revisit it but i remember being stopped dead in my tracks by how accurate the exploration of race in America was. how it explores the way that race is oftentimes less about your personal identity and more about how others perceive you (what does it mean to pass as white? how can and do some mixed people use that ability? what does that say about our society and our history?).

This Place is Still Beautiful by Xixi Tian - many of the same themes as The Vanishing Half but YA and more accessible! this one resonated particularly well with me as it follows two sisters, both White & Chinese, and their experiences with their racial identity. one sister looks "more Asian" and the other looks "more White" and the way that played out felt like a mirror to my life, i saw in them the same feelings i've felt every time someone told me my brother "just looks so much more Japanese" than me. and to see those struggles in a teen, to know that my experience wasn't isolated? it was so meaningful, revolutionary even.

COCO HELLO!! And thank you for the ask, this is very sweet ;~; I'm sorry it took so long to respond; I had to sleep, family stuff, and reverse bang things to wrap up before answering!

You picked... Such a hard question... I like all my Trigun fics for various reason--the characters really are so very fun to write for, and they're so compelling in so many scenarios, the series has really sparked the writing brain and creativity like no other I've written for before! But, if I had to pick, then...

I'd say Aces in Space (Anastasia AU where Vash is a missing and presumed dead prince and Wolfwood is his childhood friend--Wolfwood meets a stowaway on his ship that looks suspiciously like Vash, and he devises a way to use this definitely-not-Vash individual to con the king out of the reward money for Vash's safe return) is probably my favorite! I wrote it for ace week, and technically speaking, it's the first long long fic (like 50k+) I've ever finished. It was really nice getting to write Vashwood as both T4T and ace4ace (with Vash being written as demi and Wolfwood grayace). I also just really liked how it turned out, how the finale played out and then wrapping everything up

I also don't feel like I can answer this question without also mentioning my big baby, Make it to Daybreak. I had a Demon Slayer stint about a year before getting into Trigun, so getting to write Trigun in a demon slayer inspired world is super fun! It's also neat, because. The idea came from the idea of Vash being a demon, and trying his absolute best not to kill anyone, to the detriment of himself. And the thing is? Just like in Trigun's canon, it's something no one would thank him for, and it would alienate him from other demons, while slayers still wouldn't want to not kill him any less. And then I also just love this one too since, because it has the runtime, I can focus on a lot of different characters, too! I've really loved developing Tesla for it (she's so cool ;~;), and then getting to feature Meryl and Milly (also gay for each other <3) prominently and give them their own distinct character arcs and struggles (Milly with reconciling that the thing she was raised to do may not be something she actually wants or agrees with, and Meryl with learning to let go of her need to plan for everything/learning to be more flexible/reconcile the fact she believes in the cause but is still breaking all the rules/betraying her comrades in befriending Vash). And I'm very excited to get back to it now that reverse bang work is done and posted! There are going to be some fun things in upcoming arcs that I'm excited to share!! (Its one year anniversary is coming up on the 8th too!)

Blanco Navidad : a Christmas time fic that is sooooo sugar sweet it gives me a toothache and also is super sexy but in an understated way- weaving together imagery through memories and experiences and emotion instead of physicality

Thicker Than Pod Vapor : a look at the stress and destress Max would feel welcoming his kids into an unwelcome world- lines of this still haunt me, like knowing he will never fully be at peace and believe himself safe nevertheless his children

The Truth is Right Here : xfiles. Meets rnm. Malexa and Kaliz and mystery. And just- it’s so god. Truly one of the most intricate and well handled stories (emphasis on story not fic!) I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. From Michael and Max pretending to be ghosts, to Liz fiercely gathering mushroom samples, to Kyle bumping shoulders with Max, to Michael buying Maria a tacky bracelet, to Alex accidentally implying a threesome vacation, to Maria wearing Michael’s hat, to all the fucked up alien stuff (and lemurs) and Jesse Manes it’s a wild ride more than worth taking. Go read it. Like truly- even if you haven’t seen the show, you’ll fall in love with these characters.

Dealing With Dragons : Maria is a witch. Michael a dragon. Fate brings them together in a magic forest? What more could one ask for? The answer is a beautifully written fantasy setting that will have you purchasing the inspiration book to sit on your nightstand.

Nox’s Rough Stock : ummmmmm sexy. like so sexy. brain dead type sexy. Maria pegs Michael- need no say more? Well I will- it’s slow and sensual and just so well done. Sorry- your work is so amazing and I’m like ah the smut.

Beautifulcheat’s Surreal Estate : *hides cause I’m behind* Just the best. Like these three girls are perfect in this setting. Not only that but the romance and the ghosts as metaphors is so well done. I’m on the edge of my seat every chapter head spinning to figure out all these mysteries. Also there’s a cute little demon dog. Precious.

I’ve been giving it some thought and I can’t think of any right now alsdhfasdlfa The worst part is that I know I have them, but I can’t really recall them

17. What trope is your favorite to write?

I really love to write banter. Banter is always so fun to do, and I love how different characters might react in different ways to the same conflicts or discussions. More trope-y ones though, hurt/comfort. I love a good conflict but also characters can hug after it (after a breakdown probably).

18. What trope have you not written yet, but want to?

Werewolf au curtwen..... If I had more time and energy it would be one of my biggest projects, I swear. One day it will happen, just trust me when I say Owen will be the best (worst) werewolf ever. Also saf related, I would love to do an Owen lives au with everything that would come with it, or a Hanahaki with post!fall Owen trying to suppress his feelings for Curt

19. What headcanon do you always include in your stories?

Saf related, Owen was an orphan and doesn't have anything that ressembles a family. Also I notice that I make him So dramatic whenever I write him. I can't help to think of that iwtv interview when they talked about Lestat being one of those comedia dell'arte clowns, and how that also applies to Owen post!fall

For Hatchetfield, Wilbur uses they/them pronouns (started as a he/they, but I think Wiggly took the 'he' after the portal). Steph has ADD and also should explore her gender identity. Pete as a trans guy could help her (they're t4t and both masc)

But nonetheless, there are many things to consider when you’re criticizing an artist for the price of their works and here are a few!

How much time goes into the process of a piece(s)!

For example, I made not only one zine, but two in the span of 7 months. While working a 40+ hour a week active job. So all my free time was consumed with this zine. You may think $43 is a lot for a zine, but I am just one person make a whole NSFW zine. I wasn’t one of 20+ artists and fic writers putting one piece into a whole zine. And I won’t undervalue myself and my time! Also, most of my commissions, for one custom piece, cost more than not only my nsfw zine, but both my zines combined.

How much time goes into the technically side of the piece(s) (I.e. creating the actual zine with printing companies and sizing and resizing, and shipping and handling artists usually handle themselves)

For myself, it was hours and hours of file converting and resizing and in the end it still didn’t look good in zine previews, that’s why I decided to go digital.

The exclusivity of the artwork(s)

You’ll find a lot of things of this nature are either limited time products or exclusive to the product itself! For example, all my pieces in my NSFW zine, are for the zine supporters only, as well as my SFW being half favorite pieces and half new, zine exclusive pieces!

The content of said artwork(s)

My zine for example, is a “taboo” type of artwork, it’s basically a book full of porn. Not a lot of artist draw porn and even less nsfw artist, share it on social media! But here I am, sharing a whole exclusive zine of porn for two lovable characters! Oh, and as trans characters haha. They’re t4t in my zine because I draw the representation I want through my favorite characters!

You’ve got to understand, as artists, we are putting out so much free content on social media. Whether it’s every day, every other day, once a week or once a month. You, as a consumer of our work, get free content (both old and new), all for free! Is that not wild?! For example, people pay $10 a month to see all the porn I’ve ever drawn on Patreon on then get to see the latest porn and sfw stuff I post! Ive been told by so many friends that I should charge more even! But that’s not the point of this post.

Artists could never share again, or put their craft and skills behind a massive paywall, but we love sharing and putting art into the world, cause fuck, a world without art would kill me. I literally love scrolling through my social media and seeing all my mutuals and artists I follow share their work and interests through art. I love seeing their minds work and what they felt so proud of to share it with the world.

And on top of that, if you think something is a bit too high in price, just remember all the free content the artist puts out, remember what art piece you love the most from them and why you followed them in the first place maybe! And by purchasing an item(s) from them, is a way of showing them support for all the joy their art has brought you 🫶😊 and just supporting artists in general vs large corporations who usually underpay their artists or just straight up steal art.

**In the end, I won’t undervalue my time and skill for a quick sale cause I’ve had people happily support me at the prices they are and I’m so grateful te for them.**

Fun facts about my OCs! (Whom I only posted once :p)

Sebek is a first generation Polish American!

Carlos’s original design was made in 2018! Sebeks was made in 2019 when I was homeless!??!

Carlos is Grunge and Sebek is a Punk!

They are both in a band with my other ocs Jaheem and Kiko (Kiko is Carlos’s brother! And he is also dating Jaheem!)

Idk if I ever mentioned this but Sebek and Carlos are t4t (so are Jaheem and Kiko)

Kiko is Schizoaffective like me!

Carlos and Kiko both are AuDHD same for Sebek and Jaheem but both of them are self diagnosed

Carlos’s favorite drink is Diet Squirt (this is because I realized my characters were too similar to me so I made him love something I absolutely hate)

Sebeks favorite drink is Kvass (I am yet to try any but I do plan to when I can get my hand on some)

Sebek is a smoker but also him and Carlos are reefer addicts /hj
