“…” A silence overcame the man as he looked at the cup before him.

The hybrid had bested foes and monsters that would cause terror in the hearts of any mere man this world to the one over. He had fought battles that could make a child’s skin crawl. And yet as he gazed into the cup, he was uncertain.

“It’s really nothing to be scared of.” Said the pink haired mythical next to him. “Try it! You might like ittt!”

He said nothing. “Dominic. This isn’t going to poison you.” She reaffirmed.

“Then why are there these strange orbs in the bottom?!” This caused his companion to laugh. “It’s boba! They’re chewy! You might like it-“

“They look like an egg of some sort. Like a Seismitoad’s.”

“It’s not really! I promise you’ll be fine!” He hesitantly took the cup in his hand, an odd sight to be certain, and put the straw between his lips. Upon the first drink, a deliciously light yet sweet beverage graced him, something he had never tasted before. And then the boba itself, and while it was strange at first, it grew to be a treat he quite enjoyed.

“See? I told you it wasn’t that bad!” Perhaps his companion was right, sometimes.
