I've seen an influx of House and Thirteen (bisexual worsties/malpractice dad and prodigal daughter) enjoyers in my activity feed recently (HELLO! my inbox is open anytime to scream about House and Thirteen! :D)! Which is so fucking exciting considering how little it was really talked about on here just about this time last year. Anyways, since more and more people are enjoying our fave father daughter duo, I thought I'd share the link to my fic that I've been working on!

For anyone new or unfamiliar, my fic In the Dirt is a postcanon character study of Thirteen, who has spiraled following House's "death". Meanwhile, several months after Wilson passes away, House searches for Thirteen so he can fulfill his promise to her. Once he finds her, broken and at rock bottom, he vows to stay by her side until her time finally comes. The fic is going to explore the two of them living together and dealing with things like grief, addiction, House's chronic pain, Thirteen's trauma, Wilson's legacy, etc!

If ya like found family, hurt/comfort, that sort of thing, then this might be your jam. Do mind the tags though! Have you seen the movie gifted? It never fails to make me cry, Chris does so well in it and so does Makena god that girl knows how to act.

Honestly one of my favourite movies to date, father daughter duos are my fave. Chris acting as a parental figure is so sweet!! And who doesn't love a rough exterior guy who's good with kids.

It always loops me around to thinking about Steve having a kid dropped on him and having to navigate being a father, maybe a one night stand turned baby mama 9 months later who wants nothing to do with a baby.

Steve would be such a good dad too, I know he'd want the best for his kid. He'd have a big freak out initially and struggle but once he gets used to it a bit more he just loves it. He loves his kid and he knew that as soon as he laid eyes on the kid but now he actually has time to sit and just FEEL it. His little baby has his eyes and it makes him want to sit and cry.

One winter soldier saga later, Bucky is back and finds out Steve has a kid, maybe 2 or 3 at this point. Bucky is nervous staying with Steve while he's healing to begin with but with a kid in the house? No way. Steve manages to wrangle him to stay and Bucky and the baby actually form a little bit of a cute connection.

When Steve and Bucky find their romantic side again and Bucky is free from the hydra shit in his head, they really form their own little family. And god the domesticity of it all makes me want to cry and sob and cry. They'd both be such good dads and sooo protective, the best protected kid around I'm sure you can imagine.

I can totally see Steve and Bucky being the type of parents to be anxious messes when their baby starts school and their kid is as confident as ever, not even looking back as they run off to find friends.

Ragggh it just makes me wanna cry.

I haven't seen Gifted (note my tag "watch? party?" lol). But, from the clips/gifs on Tumblr, it seems really sweet and like, yeah, they both do wonderfully in it!

Even though I haven't seen it, it's still wild to me whenever I realize just how old McKenna is now, haha. Like, she's still acting, but most often, because I'm not an avid consumer of movies/TV/series, I come across her in the music scene and like... when did this little girl turn into a teenage punk rock icon? 💀💀

I have no idea! I don't even want kids personally, or really like kids all that much (I didn't grow up around younger kids and so they're a total mystery to me, lol) and it still gets me, lmao. Especially when it's Chris and/or stucky.

Steve would be such a good dad, yeah!! He'd take after his mama and be great at it <3 Definitely an adjustment, too, but he can handle it.

I am so amused by the idea that Steve either continues to have accidental children with one night stands because, one, that's just funny to me, two, how carried away can you get, wouldn't you learn your lesson after one misstep, no matter how much you love your baby, wrap that super dick up, Steven, and, three, not so funny, but I can actually see that happening because if this is canon Steve, why would people stop at trying to steal his blood? They'd probably also want his super serum babies, too. Then, maybe it's not that he's forgetting to wrap it before he taps it, but those pretty gals are poking holes in his condoms, acting as more heads of HYDRA 👀

So, my addition to this is me saying more kids. Not just one. By the time Bucky shows up, I want him to have two or three, haha. Like, Bucky is so fucking confused. He's like, there is one child... okay, there are two?... wait. THREE?! STEVEN, I TOLD YOU TO NOT DO ANYTHING STUPID UNTIL I GOT BACK. WHY DO YOU HAVE THREE OFFSPRING. AND--w-without me? 👉🏻👈🏻

Oh my god, though, yeah, Bucky is reeling from that. He doesn't know what to make of it. He is very much refusing at first, but I think it would end up being really good for him.

Besides, it's cute. Steve feels very, very domestic with a kid (or two) and Bucky in his house.

Oh, for sure, they're anxiety ridden parents. They both got to therapy ('cause god they need it), and they go to therapy together, and their therapist is constantly, gently reminding them that they shouldn't be so overprotective or helicoptering their kid(s). Like, sure, it's logical for the kid(s) of Captian America and The Winter Soldier, but it's only logical to a certain extent. Their baby needs to be able to have alone time and develop their own independence, too. They're teaching their kid(s) and learning themselves, too.

Papa’s Got You: A Descendants Short (Rest in Power, Ken Page)

Another crack of lightning ripped across the sky, the thunder that followed rattling the barrier and all the buildings of the Isle of the Lost that laid beneath it. The thick, heavy raindrops smacked onto its jagged edges and rolled off it into the ocean, the storm stirring the waves up around its base. Many of the residents of the forlorn island grumbled in annoyance at the noise and picked up items that had fallen from their places. Storms without the rain were common here, and most of the residents were indifferent by now…

Most.

On the outskirts of the dilapidated city sat the lair that was home to the Boogie family. The twisted tree stood menacing as ever, knowing what lay beneath it. But in that dread chamber now, hunched below one of the various machines with her tiny burlap hands over her ears was little Darcy Boogie, the daughter of the Boogie Man himself. She wasn’t scared, of course, don’t be ridiculous! Nothing scared her, just like her papa! She just…didn’t like all the noise, that’s all!

Heavy footsteps sounded through the room as the one and only Oogie Boogie entered his lair, just as another streak of lightning split the air and thunder roared once again. Following this sound, he heard another, a little shriek of fright and he gained a soft, knowing smile one would never expect to see on the face of the King of Terror as he walked toward the sound. Kneeling down, he was greeted with the sight he had expected: his little girl, hunched up and trying to put on a brave face, but unable to hide how she was shaking. Eyes wide, Darcy turned to look at her father.

“I don’t like it, papa! It’s too loud! I want it to stop!”, she said, before quickly adding, “But I ain’t scared, I’m not scared of nothin’!”

Her father gave a low chuckle before reaching over to ruffle her hair, “Course not, Lil Terror.” He had just barely gotten the sentence out before another boom of thunder sounded and Darcy dashed over and leaped onto her father, hiding her head in his shoulder.

Standing up with Darcy in the crook of one arm, the boogieman soothed his daughter, “It’s alright now, Darlin’. Thunder can’t get ya, it’s just noisy.”

Darcy only pouted and clutched on tighter in response. She kept her face hidden as her papa took her about halfway up the stairs, stopping in front of a window with a view of the skyline. Lightning continued to flash, and Darcy peeked up when the light caught her eyes. It was…kind of pretty.

“Ya see, Pun’Kin? All it is is a flashy light show, nothin’ to be spooked about.”, Oogie assured her, and Darcy seemed about ready to agree, before thunder rattled the entire floor, and she squealed and hid her face in her father’s shoulder again.

“Shh, it’s alright, baby girl. I’m here, papa’s got ya.”, he told her softly, rocking her back and forth. After a short while, Darcy began to calm down, though her grip on her father never faltered.

“How ‘bout we go up and you can try and spook the trouble trio, huh? That always makes you feel better, don’t it?”, the Boogie Man suggested. Shakily, Darcy nodded and the daddy-daughter duo headed up the stairs to do their favorite thing in the world.

Later, after she had thoroughly petrified Lock, Shock and Barrel, earning praise from her father as he’d given one of his big, booming laughs, Darcy found herself standing by the door, watching the clouds begin to dissipate. She stuck her tongue out at the receding gray mounds. Nothing was going to get her. Not while her papa was here, ready to scare anything threatening away.

So, I have another question for you ^^: Aside from their swoon-worthy romance, which non-romantic relationship are you most excited to see Elain and Lucien work on?

Hiiiiiii again! They are amazing artists too! Like I said, there are so many incredible dedicated Elucien artists in the fandom.

I would looooove to see more of the Elain and Eris relationship! As half of an older brother-younger sister duo myself, I wanna see just how chaotic they can be! I imagine Eris would be a little wary of Elain at first, but then very quickly they’re both trolling Lucien😂😂😂😂😂

I would also love to see more of the Elain and Lady of Autumn relationship! I have a headcanon that the LOA wanted a daughter which was a huge reason why she agreed to keep having children so Elain will be like the daughter she never had!

And of course I know Elain will get along swimmingly with the BoE! Of all the siblings, Elain was the most attached to her human life, so it’ll be nice to show her that she doesn’t have to give up the human side of her entirely.

And of COURSE I want Lucien and Eris to make up and be bros again because they’re two of my favorite characters in this whole damn series!

I think I’m one of the only people who thinks Lucien won’t immediately warm up to Helion haha but I really feel like that will be very raw and new for both of them: Lucien learning how to interact with a father who doesn’t abuse him and Helion learning how to be a father, especially to someone who is already grown.

Although I don’t think Nuala and Cerridwen will be part of Elain’s found family, I think it would be nice if they left the Night Court along with her and found purpose elsewhere, because it really doesn’t feel like they’re respected in the Night Court. I mean, they were UTM and unprotected unlike the rest of his court.

But of course I’m most excited for the Elain-Eris siblingship!

Hi! I'm working on a fic that involves Strange and Magik, and need a little help with their interactions. I have the basics down but I want to have it as in character as possible. (Your blog has been a tremendous help in building this fic as well!)

The premise is that Magik wants to merge the contrasting portions of her soul in order to regain a sense of balance within herself. She is currently under the tutelage of Strange, however, she doesn't want to ask him to help with such a hefty, personal thing. How would he react to this? Are there spells or incantations that he could use to help ease her discomfort/dysmorphia?

Personally, I think Illyana has been through a lot on her own, especially considering her debut series. A level of trauma no child could handle, but she found hope and friendship anyway. That's how strong and determined she is. For that reason, I truly believe she's very hard to open up about things (except for Kitty, whom she's very close to, even more than her own brother, and Dani). In this perspective, I think she'd have to be in a really difficult scenario since she hardly asks for help (which is what happened in Uncanny X-Men when she went for Stephen seeking tutelage).

Maybe she'd try first on her own, but upon realizing her soul is quite hidden or hard to retrieve, she'd seek someone she trusts within this area of expertise, and that's, of course, is Stephen.

He would react as usual: willing to help, especially considering her a dear friend. I can think of one or two patronizing interactions, but mostly because he gets more and more protective when it comes to someone dear to him haha. But obviously Yana can handle herself and she will not measure words to say her mind.

That's what I picture when I think of them. They're two very capable sorcerers and fighters, although with different personalities.

Local shoujo heroine can't leave yakuza don alone because his pitifully hopeless quest for love is a little too relatable.

Episode 9 might be my most favourite Tokimeki Tonight episode yet, Unfortunate Design aside, Tamasaburo's my fave, and he and Yoko are so adorable together. ;_; Genuinely cute father-daughter duo.

Also, I (half-jokingly) said a while back that Yoko should just quit competing with Ranze over Shun and succeed her father and head the gang someday, she's much more ruthless and clever, I bet she'd make a great--and this episode gives me her leading them because everybody got confused and believed Tamasaburo died?!

This is so cute, but so unnecessary, as he didn't really die... but she doesn't know that!

He also didn't want to go back so he wouldn't make her look bad.

And Ranze's a dear and helps him make it seem like he was just moved to another hospital for treatment and needs to stay a little longer, so he can go back and not have it reflect badly on anyone (aaaand he gets to see Makabe-kun's mother, the nurse, he has a totally one-sided crush on), fff.
