Hello everyone, I wanted to put together a nice, low-pressure event dedicated to my fellow wlw self shippers for one week of June because it's pride month, babey!! This is the first time I've ever tried to 'organize' an event, so take it easy on me, I'll try to be as communicative as possible and if anyone has questions about it, asks and DMs are always open!

On to the details! Its gonna last from Monday the 10th through Friday the 14th, and anyone can opt in or out as they see fit! No one is obligated to participate throughout the entire week or from the beginning alone, just do what you feel like!

thinking about my complicated experiences with gender as a trans guy:

so, currently i present masc and even pass occasionally despite being pre-t. i have short hair, wear a binder, dress very masculine, the whole nine yards. but! i also love presenting feminine. long hair, dresses, heels, etc. i can't dress that way right now because of dysphoria relating to my body.

when i get top surgery and start passing consistently, i'll grow out my hair and on occasion dress fem again. this isn't because i'm 'clinging' to femininity or because i'm a trender or faking being trans. the easiest way to explain it is that i was meant to be a man who likes crossdressing, and god got confused and intially made me a girl.

i do worry about being even lonelier than i am now when i get further into my transition. most cis people would find me confusing and i've even seen fellow trans people being transphobic to unconventional trans people like fem trans guys and masc trans girls.

i haven't been very vocal about my experience, because i'd face a lot of hate and doubt. i doubt myself enough as it is. but i wanted to write a little post to sort out my thoughts. i haven't ever really seen anyone like me so i hope someone out there might read this and relate.

hey gang!

i've been thinking, and i think it's about time i take a tiny, teeny lil hiatus. just wanted to let you know i'll be gone for a lil while (hopefully a week+ depending on how it goes). this is NOT because of any of you - in fact i am going to miss you all dearly. just think i need a bit of a mental health reset luvs.

i will have my queue running - i've upped the time and number of posts as well so it will run throughout my normal hours here - and i have content (incorrect tweets, some video edits, gifsets, etc.) lined up until. like may so don't worry about that snkjfk (i won't be gone for that long prommy i just do a lot of content prep). i'll also be watching smosh every day as per usual, and still working on stuff while im gone!! i think this'll be a really great opportunity to get some work done - i have so many fics and passion projects lined up that im really excited about, so hopefully i'll get to finish those in the meantime and i may be back to post them <3 at the very least i'll be back by valentines day for the smoshblr exchange!!

Exposing myself here a little and sharing the current rule-set for my CP2077 Discord I'm the process of setting up below the cut! Below the cut, cause this post it's a lot of text as is.

I think I got all channels set up how I want them for starters, but there will always be room for improvement :D First and foremost I want this to become a place of encouragement and sharing and fun... I really just want it to be an extension of my fandom corner on tumblr here and have a room to chat with everyone I love in one spacereally, that's the whole point XD

Still though, I think some basic rules are good, especially if I decide to open this up to more people down the line - but also, some might find a strict ruleset (or my specific ruleset) not to their taste, hence, before sending out invites, I wanted to put this here.

So yeah! Server-rules below, react to this post or get in touch with me if you're interested to join based on these prerequesites, invites will go out during the weekend most likely! :D

1. Don't be a dick and use common sense. Be kind to each other. Assume ignorance over ill intentions first and foremost, and when in doubt, stay civil and ask a mod or admin for help via DM.

2. Homophobia, Transphobia, Queerphobia in general, Racism and Hatespeech towards other server members will not be tolerated. Report any talk of this sort to a mod or admin asap if you notice it.

3. This is an adult/NSFW server. You need to be at least 18 years of age to participate and can expect respective content. This is not to exclude anyone younger than 18, but for legal reasons.

4. No 18+ content needs to be spoilered ||like this|| by default. If you choose to spoiler something, which you are always free to do especially in general channels, use a label/indicator describing the content you're spoilering (e.g. [explicit sexual content], [nsfw], [blood/gore], [xyz kink], [tmi]). No kinkshaming please, but also, note rule 5.

5. If someone asks you to spoiler a specific type of niche/extreme content (e.g. extreme kinks, dark and disturbing topics, (mental) health themes like self-harm or terminal illnesses, or any content that could fall under 4) please do so. Be mindful of each other's comfort levels with being exposed to certain darker topics. Being asked to spoiler content does not equal being kinkshamed.

6. Everyone's boundaries are valid and you are free to set them. Simultaneously, nobody should have to censor themselves or their creations either. Spoilering (extreme) content on someone else's request does not equal censorship but is part of being a community.

7. If someone forgets to spoiler a topic that has been previously asked to be spoilered, do not assume the worst and kindly remind the op to spoiler. If the same person keeps forgetting the same things though and you feel like it is on purpose or targeted, let a mod/admin know.

8. If a topic that makes you personally uncomfortable is being discussed in a group setting, stepping away from the conversation temporarily is an alternative to asking to spoiler something (also applies to rule 6). Simultaneously though, due to no blacklisting options on Discord, be mindful of what you post especially if others whose comfort levels you don't know are there with you.

9. Please keep discussions on the server civil. If you've messed up, apologize. If discussions get personal or touch upon server-external issues, please resort to DMs to resolve them. If you need a neutral party to listen, @elvenbeard is always happy to.

10. Do not post content that isn't yours without the explicit permission of the original creator (be it mods, VP, art, writing, etc.). This includes posting links to external works that aren't yours.

11. Start no arguments or spread negativity by discussing non-server-members and their activities.

12. Keep shippy content to the respective channels. Respect each other's ships and headcanons (exceptions: see 13), but also respect the source material(s).

13. If you notice headcanons that are queer-phobic, transphobic, racist, hateful or something similar, especially if they are being framed or discussed as positive, inform a mod or admin asap. Everyone is entitled to their own headcanons, but any falling under these categories will not be tolerated.

Please don't copy fics/parts of fics and pass them off as your own work

It’s come to my attention that a chunk of my fic Afterglow of a Supernova (and some other aspects of it) has been copied into a fic posted today. I posted Afterglow on 5th March 2023.

This is the main copied section in particular (as in, the below screenshot is from my fic, not from the fic that copies it), but there are other parts too:

Please don’t use other people’s words like this. It does stand to reason that many of us will have very similar ideas for the same ships etc, and some people will have very similar writing styles, but it really isn’t okay for the language to actually be lifted out, and pasted, and passed off as your own work from your own brain. It’s saddening. I now feel the need to highlight this as a way to claw back what’s mine. Some of you might be aware of what the fic in question is now, but I don’t want to link it here. I have also contacted Ao3 about it.

If the person who has done this sees this – you don’t need to copy anyone. You are talented enough in your own right. I advise stepping back, taking a breather, and then please write and celebrate your own words. This isn’t just about me, but all of us that share this space with you and trust you – please don’t do this again to any writers. Please.

I’m sorry to do this publicly, but I genuinely feel the need. I put my whole heart into my fics. I work very hard on them. They mean a huge amount to me. Afterglow of a Supernova was one of my favourite writing experiences, and now it feels spoiled. Anyway, you copied that portion of my fic and posted it publicly…so nothing feels fair or right and now we’re both in this, and I have to react. I can’t sit here pretending it hasn’t happened when people are thinking certain portions of my fic are yours. And maybe you have done this to others too, over time? However, my DMs are open if you want to have a chat about it, now that you know I know. I have no hate for you, I’m just upset for us both and very concerned.

I hope this is enough to ensure that you never do this again, and I ask that you please remove the fic I'm talking about.

why are you doing this?

bc i’m a dyke & a christian, & i’m sick of trying to choose between those identities in queer & christian spaces. so i’m making my own queer christian space where no one has to choose between their queer identity & their faith!

wow, who can join? 

this server is open to queer people who are looking for a christian space, christians who are looking for a queer space, & anyone who wants to engage in a queer christian community. i will also take a moment to state: this server is a safe space for POC & all queer identities.

you MUST be at least 16 years old or over to be in this server. in addition, there are minor & adult roles. you don’t have to state your exact age, but for everyone’s comfort, i’d like to distinguish between them. other than that, it’s ENCOURAGED that you’re a queer christian, but hey, if you’re just curious about the community & want to join IN GOOD FAITH, then you’re welcome <3

My Blog’s Rules

I have no DNI criteria, I pretty much never block anyone. The only reasons I will block someone is if they’re being genuinely hateful, or make me uncomfortable (which is VERY hard to do, I am EXTREMELY laid back).

Minors, I highly recommend blacklisting #smut, which I use to tag sexually explicit material like detailed smut fics and extremely suggestive artwork. Not everything that is nsfw will be tagged (like my vulgar whispering in the tags lmao), only the really explicit stuff, so keep that in mind!!

I love receiving asks, but if you send me hate I will just delete it, so don’t bother. Also, I am not a doctor, a therapist, or anything of the sort, so please do NOT ask me for serious advice; I won’t answer it, I’ll just delete the ask (examples being things like “my boyfriend is cheating on me, what should I do?” or “my friend relapsed, how should I help them?” Etc).

Mutuals are absolutely more than welcome to DM me to chat!!! This is a side blog so it won’t have the purple banner saying we’re moots, but my main is very obviously me (check the url and it’s very clear) so if you see that I follow you then we’re moots!!
