thinking about this page from @sleepvines’ lovely zine “Kind”. been thinking about it a lot actually. it’s so simple but I got kinda choked up reading it. I wasn’t sure why it hit me like that at first.

welcome home. I didn’t even know there was one. there’s a home? what does this home look like? I see dry leaves and stones and singing around a fire and dancing. somewhere I don’t have to pretend to be human or “normal” . We all take off our human masks and we laugh about it. How hot and stuffy it was having those things on. Fangs and claws glinting in the moonlight and wings around bodies in an embrace. Howling together and more than one tail wagging. Growling and barking and drumming in intertwined rhythm. WHO’S that beast? WHO’S that beast? you’re that beast. you’re here and you’re home. Welcome home.

Where is home and how do I get there. How can I help the beasts that need it get there. Where is home. There’s a home? I thought beasts like me weren’t meant to have a home. But you said welcome home. I’m welcome. We’re welcome. Home.

[it is a wonderful and beautiful thing to be a beast, but it is also sometimes a very sad and lonely thing. humans are afraid of me and disgusted by me, and I don’t know if there are any other beasts like me out there. I would love love love to learn how to feels to “make friends”. come say hi and send asks and messages and bark and give a big ol sniff I definitely do bite but very gently if I like you and also I give lots of hugs]

not to be that guy but it’s like. really telling the amount of support and attention has been given to like, tommy, dantdm, and jacksepticeye for calling out the lunchly members (logan paul, KSI, and mr beast) meanwhile rosanna pansino has been actively calling out mr beast’s abhorrent behavior for about a year now and she’s gotten virtually no support from the community despite the insane amount of (largely misogynistic) harassment she’s received for it. she’s one of the most vocal ccs against mr beast and the beast games, being in contact with over 200 contestants and using her platform to share their stories on a larger scale. it’s just really telling how the only cc who isn’t getting the spotlight and backing from the larger community is a woman

who is anyone to deny anybody’s lived experience. it’s one thing to keep someone from hurting themselves or others, but who is anyone to tell someone else “you did not experience this.” if somebody has delusions of transforming physically into a werewolf and identifies as a werewolf because of that - that makes perfect sense!!! that is an experience that shapes someone’s identity!!! it’s not wrong to want to embrace that and try to work around that as a lived experience in one’s life!!

share if hope to provide safe space for physical alterhuman & physical nonhuman identities :)

do not need to understand all of different labels which refer to these identities .

however :

do need to understand , not all these identities will be delusion in nature . that some can be religious , some can be ancestral , some can have other psychological roots , and more . need to understand that there is as much variance in reason as for non-physical identities .

do need to understand , that even if identity is from delusion , phrases like get help or do not feed delusion will only cause harm . that to class religion as delusion or delusion as religion hurt everyone involve .

do need to have trust , that those with physical identity can understand limits and needs . have trust that someone who live with delusions for years , possible decades , will understand when brain tip into danger . likewise , have trust that someone with physical ties in ancestry will understand , say , what is or is not actually safely edible .

do need to understand , that people who will hate on communities , will continue to hate on communities no matter how " normie " everyone is . there will never be anything to win from throw fellow folk under bus .

do need to understand , that will not personally grasp every single experience which others talk about . and need to understand , that this is OK . let others live life , without try to analyse and explain through personal frameworks . let go of that need .

do need to understand , that really all just want to live life - and can do that best when work together .

Having Tommy thoughts this fine evening. Like this moment. That was a big risk. He thought he got the signals right, but he wasn't 100% sure yet. I translated and analyzed the leaked Pokemon Theogony diagram!

Here's the non-spoiler version from the Sinjoh ruins Arceus event! The leaked spoiler version with specific and leaked names is below the cut!

Things to note:

1) Tex is Regigigas maybe because it sounds like "Tectonic" + "Rex"? Since it moves the continents? (Dumb joke about how the Regi family can be found below Clay's Driftveil City in B2W2)

2) Despite appearences, the notes say the pink circle is for the god of time, and the blue one is for the god of space- could be cool to see Dialga and Palkia with swapped colors! Also note that Giratina isn't in the original version, but has a circle for it awkwardly added in the final version.

3) Pseudos have their own section- weird that Latias, Latios, and Gyarados are Pseudos but Salamence isn't. They're all bunched up in a section called "Supporting Legendaries". The three gen 4 placeholders for "Dahabu", "Saan", and "Gordon" could be for Garchomp and two other lesser legendaries like Cresselia and Darkrai or something. Or since they omitted Salamence, they could also not include Garchomp and the circle could be for something like Heatran instead.

4) Note that "Supporting Legendaries" are different from the birds, beasts, and regis, which are called "Servant Legendaries".

5) Also "Smilay" (Smile>Gratitude>Shaymin) and "Birthly" (Egg/Phione>Manaphy) are my speculations on the mythicals, but no confirmation, obviously.

6) Also there's a decent chance most of this is now moot since this diagram is from 2005 and we've had over 5 generations since then.
