Saiki's mom and dad really like you! Saiki's mom loves the fact that saiki has become friends with someone as kind as you! And saiki's dad is just happy that saiki made a friend...

You found out completely by accident when he teleported in front of you, and you questioned him, you two were close enough friends, and saiki knew you wouldn't tell anyone, so he told you.

My wips are set in the same universe, on the planet of Illaros, fifth from the last star left living in the universe. There's a continent, some islands, and other assorted junk down there. The gods have a dyson ring, but they don't like to talk about it. The stars are the eyes of an ancient primordial force of destruction.

Honor's Outcasts follows a rag-tag group of delinquents trying to survive psycho pirates with family ties, a siren theocracy, magic that rots in your blood, and the Horrors. Their number includes such mighty heros as: a kid who can explode people with her mind, a buff shark lady who survives regular eldritch encounters by not paying attention, a mute aroace siren man with a bitchy attitude, and the world's sweetest gang mamber. Of course, they're one big family, and what's family without a little religious terrorism?

The Mystery of the Mortal God asks what happens when magic and science collide in a world where ethics panels haven't been established yet. Set a few decades down the line from HO, this story follows a cowboy witch with a chip on her shoulder as she discovers a mysterious robot laying broken and confused on the side of the road. At the same time, in a city on the other side of the globe, a blue blooded detective investigates a cold case suddenly gone hot. The Final Voyage of the R.S. Starbreaker is sci-fi with ghosts! Starbreaker. basically the entirety of it's hard to say "i do" when i don't but a special mention goes to you are appealing to emotions that i simply do not have as well as the only ring i want buried with me are the ones around my eyes

　So, this is like 90% projection, but I kinda see Sara as vaguely aro-spec? I think there’s something about the way she talks about crushes that just felt relatable to me so she just kinda ended up vaguely aro-spec in my head. Idk. (Plus her friends seeming baffled that she could possibly have lived 17-18yrs without experiencing a crush (pre-August) was so incredibly real).

　(Others that I don’t really have much to say about: ace!Henry (because I read @sflow-er’s Supplementary facets fic series and it just kinda stuck), and I kinda liked aroace!Felice from @zee-has-commitment-issues’s Reckless Abandon).

7. Character you didn’t initially like/love but have now warmed up to:

　Honestly, August. I found him vaguely interesting at the start, but he annoyed me so much that I just avoided thinking about him, which it turns out was mostly because I just didn’t know what I wanted to do with him. But, now I have an idea of where I could go post-canon (thanks to some of your posts and our conversations), I like him a lot more.

(Insert seemingly obligatory disclaimer within this fandom that, while I do like him, I don’t condone lots of his actions)

8. Pairing you didn’t initially like/love but have now warmed up to:

　I guess saraugust? There’s a few pairings that I’d previously never considered but now quite like, but I don’t think there’s any that I’ve actively disliked that I now like (in fact, there’s only, like, one (non-creepy) pairing that I’m opposed to).

　I think I like saraugust now more than I used to, in the sense that I now think it’d be interesting to see them potentially get back together years in the future (like you’ve mentioned at some point), but I’ve always found their interactions to be pretty interesting (and they both bring out a quite different side to each other).

16. A song that reminds you of a secondary character or pairing:

　Truly, this was a mistake to ask me because I, quite frankly, do not shut up about songs reminding me of characters, so to list a few:

1. Somewhere In Ann Arbor by Anson Seabra vaguely reminds me of post-canon crown prince August pre-growth and stuff.

2. Rabbit Heart (Raise It Up) by Florence + The Machine reminds me of Kristina and the royal family as a whole.

3. Machine Learning by Janani K. Jha indirectly kinda reminds me of Sara in the sense that it kinda reminds me of autistic masking.

Oh dear, that's an interesting question! He's one of the characters that I tend to write at my slowest because honestly, like everyone else, I have no idea what his deal is. But I'll do my best for both snz and otherwise!

Not snz:

To me, he's a fellow anemic. He needs to recover his strength with food after he goes a bit overboard with his powers or transforms into something larger and more eldritch.

As a small addition to the previous headcanon, his go-to food for recovery is his mother's jambalaya rather than the regular venison or otherwise. I know that's a bit of a well-used one, but it's well-used for a reason!

Before episode 5 Alastor most likely still visited swing clubs with Mimzy. I can definitely imagine them tearing up the dance floor together, even after death!

I can also imagine Alastor on regular dinner dates and tea times with Rosie for gossip sessions.

I genuinely do believe in the 'Lilith deal' theory, and that his order is to protect the hotel. However, he's also trying to worm his way out of the deal with the hotel as well.

He refuses to use a cellphone at all times. He would rather suffer a double death. So if there's ever a worst case scenario where he does need to communicate via text, he would probably dictate the message to Niffty. The results tend to vary.

He has a radio in almost every room for security, safety, and communication purposes.

He has a strong alcohol tolerance, considering the 1930's and its speakeasy days. He'd probably be the second or third to last in the hotel to lose to a drinking contest.

The most crack headcanon that I have in regards to Alastor being aroace: Before he fucked off for seven years, Vox tried to ask him out, but Alastor didn't pick up on the cues at all and thought that it was a deal to join the Vees instead. That leaves everyone who asks with the impression that Vox was pissy over asking Alastor to join his team instead of, you know, a date. And the worst part is that Vox can't say shit about what really happened either, because who would just admit that????

He has a deer's tail because I say so, actually.

Another obvious one, but he's a germaphobe. 100%.

He's not much of a caretaker unless he really likes the person. Charlie, Niffty, and Rosie are good examples!

When they're asleep he'll sneak in a Creole pet name for luck, as long as no one else is around to hear it.

He has bad bedside manners for anyone he doesn't have much of an opinion on-- or worst case scenario, anyone he hates.

With Lucifer he pulls out all the stops. However, he does align with the fact that he cares about Lucifer recovering-- but only because it would be boring without the regular brand of chaos that he brings.

Connected to the 'Alastor has radios set up around the hotel' headcanon: He has a playlist of over 1,000 songs specifically titled 'Songs Lucifer Hates', and puts each one on full blast until Lucifer caves and takes his medication or goes back to bed.

Yes, this torture method can easily follow him out of Lucifer's room and to any radio in the hotel.

No, Lucifer does not last past four or five songs, and that disappoints Alastor every time.

Alastor does not get sick often, but when he does he gets hit hard.

His sneezing usually comes in doubles or triples, and they tend to be on the more intense side.

They're hard to hold back, so he normally stifles to stay quiet-- unless the room wants to listen to screeching feedback and loud outbursts.

He is a handkerchief user, and carries them wherever he goes. For people very close to him, he will let them keep one.

I'm a sucker for a magic user's loss of control with their powers-- I can see Alastor's emotions get outed by his shadow, or his tentacles shoot out at random intervals.

He gets feverish easily, complete with fever dreams, and tends to mumble about them in his sleep.

whole story below the cut, there’s a tldr at the end bc i added a load of unnecessary details. js brace its kind of a long one.

so we met when i was 12 and he was 15. i remember it was june 2020. i didn’t like him at first—got sort of a weird vibe. but then i got to know him more and, by september-ish, he became one of my best friends. by november, i thought of myself as having a crush on him (i didnt know i was aroace at the time) but i never made a move bc he was dating one of my friends, lets call her jude. we talked pretty much every day. i had to leave our friend group for safety reasons but he was my source of contact with the rest of my friends. i think we mainly talked on discord at the time?

flash forward to new years eve of 2020, and something happens. i’ll spare you the details, but needless to say my devices got confiscated. i still remembered his discord id, so i got my best friend to msg him and tell him what happened. i also got my favorite cousin to do the same, so he’d have two ways of talking to me.

keep in mind, my best friend and cousin both had it in their minds that i had a crush on him, so they’d both try to get him to like me. in june i think he broke up w jude. my cousin was also in regular contact with jude on instagram, so i got to msg jude at some point after the breakup and i distinctly remember her saying she’d be okay if i dated him but she personally was so unhappy w him. i didnt get that, but i think i later did

years pass w barely any contact. december 2022, i start dating someone else. january 2023, i realize i chose the absolute worst person and i break things off. then april 2023, i manage to get in contact w violet. we start dating the next day. (here he’s told me that he’s genderqueer he/she, but later he denied this)

i talked to him anytime i could and he'd send selfies a lot. i was scared about my parents so i asked him not to. he'd do it anyway. i didnt ask him to stop after that

he wasn’t necessarily a bad boyfriend, i js didnt rlly feel. idk. special? i’d make playlists for him and send voice recordings whispering “i love you” in arabic but i never got any of that back ig. the first few weeks were the best but after that? nothing. i’d send pics and he’d call me pretty and hot and say he’s so lucky to have me. later i found out he called every girl pretty when he’d see a pic of her.

i self-harmed for the first time when i was with him. what he did was ask me to send a pic of it so he could check if its bad. i told him i was suicidal. i dont remember what he said.

and then came june 15th, 2023. what a day. i talked to him at like midnight my time. i remember the last thing he asked was for me to send a selfie so he could show me off to his friend.

then my mom found out. and i was so scared of her getting angry at me that i downed 16 pills and got rushed to the hospital.

my mom didnt get angry. but my devices were confiscated again. and i couldnt talk to him. keep in mind, he knew i was suicidal. i was expecting some kind of response from him through my best friend because he was still talking to her at the time, but i didnt hear anything. instead, nine days after i tried to kill myself, on the 24th of july, he broke up with me. 

i didn’t blame him. when your suicidal gf ghosts you for nine days ofc you’re gonna wanna move on. it’s not his fault. i js felt kind of lonely, yknow? on the 30th i managed to log into my acc to talk to him, to explain everything, n all i saw was a breakup msg. i dunno.

in october-ish of 2023, i managed to get thru to him. i explained everything. he didnt give much of a response, but he did ask if we could keep talking. i said sure. we did keep talking and i invited him to tumblr bc i had more of a presence here than anywhere else. when my mom confiscated tumblr in november, i continued talking to him on google chat

in february 2024 he was my valentine js bc we were both single and alone and we thought itd be fun. i wrote him a letter. he didnt make me anything but its fine. you get the idea we were getting closer again

by this point i realized i wasnt receiving the amount of love i deserve, and i was kind of sad bc he’s not a muslim and i am, so we couldn’t get married, therefore we wouldnt have a future together (i’m the kind of person who wouldn’t have a relationship w someone if it won’t lead to anything in the long-term). he told me he wouldn’t become a muslim or study islam for me, so i respected that. i wouldnt forcibly convert him. but i also acknowledged that i couldn’t be w someone who’s not a muslim, so i asked him to stop talking to me. he said okay.

he’d still reblog stuff and send me asks—he even asked me to write a poem about him for my follower event. but around that time i had kind of been getting drained from exams and i didnt want boy problems on top of that, so i asked him to stop all contact w me. he respected that, as far as i know. he wished for me to have a nice life. i wished the same for him. and i blocked him. i havent talked to him since then at all, i dont think

so yeah. kind of lengthy story thats a whole load of nothing. i dont want you to go bother him about this. he was my friend before being my boyfriend, and he was with me during a dark time in my life. i respect him and i ask for you to please not send hate towards him. think what you will, just dont bother him. i’d be happy to answer anything else, but i think i js about covered everything.

tldr; we met when i was 12 and he was 15. we dated starting when i had just turned 15 and he was almost 18. he broke up with me after i attempted sewerslide. we continued talking for a while after reconnecting but i cut him off again last feb for religious reasons and we havent talked much since.

Lucy likes it because people underestimate her, thinking her to be a college student in a Halloween costume. This is hilarious to her.
