#mine #i just took a huge amount of psychic damage from going thro my facebook page #my GOD. the things i had on there #anyway. i hope u hve had a good week...my week has been mixed but okay! im super tired ugjug #my period was like 11 days late bc since stopping hormones it like has no idea whats going on n my period app was havin a coronary #i got a notifcation that was like ur ABNORMAL!!!!!!!!!! okay and #hmm what am i going 2 do now.....probably som colouring and then some reading #i stopped reading the fantasy book i was reading it was eating my brain slowly . in a bad way #i tried using my lightbox 2day instead of drawing over my sketch n it worked well!! ive bough different paper n it worked way better #am happy !! :))

#my art #jujutsu kaisen #jjk #jjk fanart #jujutsu kaisen fanart #yuji itadori #itadori yuuji #jjk yuuji #been trying some stuff out in an attempt to beat the artblock out of myself with hammers #and i LOVE how it looks but god it takes so long painting like this #i had a ref style i was going for that was a lot more washed out and watercoloury #and to be fair my take on it did start out looking more adjacent to that #u can still kinda see remnants of the initial watercolour washes in the collar of yuuji's jacket in th bottom one #but it Did Not Last fhdjfjjg what can i say im a gouache/oils gal #i can't use soft greys and watery inks i need stark blacks i need the reddest red the colour wheel will provide #one thing i did keep from the refs were the sharp prickly fine lines i think those look real cool against textured colour blocks #anyway ive also been having a lot of fun playing with rly rly harsh lighting on the hair #and even thinner linework put down after the colour as opposed to before #probably one of the reasons why it takes a lot longer but also it mimics traditional art a lot more #ill probably continue playing around with this sort of render ! or at least keep elements of it

Obsessed with Blind! Eddie Munson meeting Steve and them hitting it off like instantly. And Eddie bragging constantly over the phone to corroded coffin/hellfire because Steve is great. He’s funny and bitchy and he makes all these sounds that drive eddie crazy —- anyway, he’s just super excited for his boyfriend to finally meet his friends.

And then when it finally happens it goes different than expected because yeah Eddie knows Steve is great…. What he didn’t know was…

“Holy shit,” Jeff says into the weird silence after Eddie’s introduction.

“What?” Eddie is worried.

“He’s hot,” Jeff says like it pains him to admit. “Like… like really, really hot. Like he might be a model hot.”

“Is he blind too? What’s he doing with Eddie?” Gareth asks under his breath and then grunts like he just got an elbow to the gut for it.

Steve just laughs. “Thanks,” he tells Eddie’s friends.

He doesn’t sound too embarrassed about it or like it’s a joke at all that his friends have concocted and holy shittttt

“Wait,” Eddie says quickly, twisting to hold Steve’s hands, “wait, wait, wait, are you— just how out of my league are you???”

“Eons,” Gareth wheezes.

“I’m not out of your league,” Steve says and Eddie can practically hear the eye roll as he tugs Eddie close and kisses him on the cheek. “Obviously.”

I recently bought an art book on Caspar David Friedrich, whose emotional work stuck with me since I first saw it in a museum years ago. Over the course of a few weeks, I read about his life and at the same time did studies/interpretations of many pieces. It was a really enjoyable and fulfilling project; here's a good lot of them together :)

I was happy to see many people enjoyed Friedrich's work+my interpretations while posting them individually. It took way too long, but I FINALLY set up a print shop for some of these + some other pieces for those who expressed interest. Thank you so much!

favorite thing in asoiaf is that the stark family tree is just filled with haters in every generation. theon stark brandon snow alaric stark cregan stark even ned's brother brandon and lyanna too. even the current kids jon snow robb sansa and arya all have some kendrick lamar level of beef w at least one person. brandon the builder spawned an entire genre of haters

one downside to digital mediums of art is that you cant see the tear stains (they just slide down the screen)

#turtlearts #tf2 #team fortress 2 #not even gonna lie i dont think ive ever struggled to draw as much as i had during this time #these are also a couple months old . and oh my god #i literally thought i was going insane. deep in the clutches of 3/4 head hell and i couldnt escape #like no sleep levels of drawing the same thing again and again until i either got exhausted or just gave up #when the therapist and psych nurse i had at uni said that i have ocd tendencies maybe they were onto something lowkey #side note but thanks to tf2 spy i got a butterfly knife trainer bc i wanted to do tricks #unfortunately i lost the knife :(( but i did learn a couple (really simple) tricks which was neat :)
