yay, a better look at the hybrid twins' designs as teenagers!! yes, Donnie paints stripes on his mask, because Leo once got upset that Donnie was covering up his stripes and they didn't match anymore. Plus, both of the twins think their stripes look cool. It's just that Donnie prefers having the top of his head covered.

i actually just traced over a screenshot of the disaster twins, because as i am still getting used to using my tablet, i need to practice making my lines straight and just... getting them to go where i want to, so i figured tracing over something with clear linework would help with that.

this here is the screenshot in question:

however, i didn't like the colours of this screenshot, as it's distinctly warmer-toned due to the lighting, and since i have to alter the colours anyway for the hybrid twins, i used these helpful colour references i found here on tumblr.

I was gonna add a link to the post where I found them, but I can't find it cuz it was so long ago that I downloaded them, so I'll just add the pictures. I do remember the original poster said they are free to use for anyone!

You may or may not notice that their skin tones in my drawing don't actually match this reference, but that's because the hybrid twins have more similar skin tones to each other than the canon disaster twins do.

-why are they smiling? Mutation is painful. Maybe they already gave up. Or, maybe they accepted that their monsters and can't do anything about it. They also make this hyena-like laugh. It's unsettling. . .

-they still seem to have abit of control over their bodies since their still only half wolves. They're more or less angry to sertain people. When their fighting the hero's they fight normally (well. . . As normal as a mutant can get) but when they see other mutants or pictures of Romeo they go totally berserk.

-maybe they can help? . . .

post apocalypse au where the plot of stranger things doesn't happen but vecna still tears the world open and brings the upside down right side up. and the scattered people who managed to survive the initial earthquakes and power outages and complete breakdown of society have to contend not only with creatures from the upside down trying to eat them, but also with what the bleeding of an alternate dimension into their reality is doing to their bodies

people with prolonged exposure to larger tears seem to be slowly changed into something else, like some radioactivity from the dimension is mutating them. people grow claws, or leathery wings, or their face peels open, or they turn into unrecognisable piles of eldritch goo. there's vampires, were-demogorgons, flayed, weird ghosts, and the number of super powered people like el was in the show skyrockets

other people who manage avoid this fate shun those that fell to it. and to an extent it's reasonable, some people who get changed in this way completely lose their humanity, like the flayed, and while others retain it it probably doesn't seem that way when a vampire-like person needs human blood to survive. but a lot of people are just as terrified of the changes happening to them as other people are, and while they may not be harmless, they'd much rather use their new biological advantages to keep people safe

despite this, people that have been 'corroded' by the upside down are ostracised, feared, sometimes outright hunted by regular humans. so sometimes, they band together. form their own little apocalypse groups

eddie is in one of those groups. he wouldn't say he's the leader, bc they don't really have a hierarchical structure and eddie likes to think he's managed to maintain his anarchic ideals even in the face of the apocalypse. but he is the oldest, and the most scary looking (if not the most actually dangerous), so the combination of everyone being younger and his ability to scare off corroded-hunters that come looking for them means everyone else kind of follows his lead

so no one really questions when he comes back to camp one day holding two passed out humans. a mole-dotted man and a freckled woman, probably about eddie's age, who were injured and had crawled into a ruin building to die. and like. what was eddie supposed to do, leave them there??? no, gareth, it has nothing to do with how pretty the guy is. no, eddie doesn't know how they'll react when they wake up in the middle of a corroded camp, they'll cross that bridge when they get there. el says she senses that they're good people, so clearly everything will be fine actually!!!!!

*rubs hands together* I finally got some extra time to draw up some new art for this AU, so let's give it some substance >:3 Long post below the read more with extra art :D

Before Euclydia was destroyed, Euclid and Scalene Cipher were some of its most powerful members. Bill saying that everyone loved him as a baby was true for a time; children aren't born very often, and the Ciphers are considered to almost be royalty. It wasn't until Bill's mutation became apparent that people began to shun him. If he had been born to any other family, he likely would have been abandoned.

Though neither Euclid nor Scalene could really comprehend the concept of something being "up", let alone what "stars" could possibly be, both of them used their status to try and find any scrap of forbidden information, hoping that they could find an answer, could find some confirmation that their son wasn't crazy, and didn't need to be blinded by his "medicine."

It was this research that eventually saved their lives. Having the knowledge that it was possible for things to, hypothetically, exist in a three dimensional plane allowed them to pool their powers and create 3D forms for themselves when Euclydia began to burn, pulling themselves off the 2D plane like a sticker being peeled off a page. It wasn't a smooth transition in the slightest, and the flames managed to damage parts of their bodies before they managed to fully free themselves. The rest of their power went into escaping their collapsing reality, and when all was said and done, they were left near catatonic and floating in the space between time and space for many, many years.

They don't really start to recover until a certain frilly guy upstairs nudges them into a new, stable dimension. This one is almost entirely 3D, and inhabited by creatures that look completely alien to the Euclydians. Creatures called humans.

They meet Dipper and Mabel not long after, and the two triangles attach themselves to the babies, doing their best to care for them in their weakened states when their young, unprepared parents fail to be adequate caretakers. Being 2D is far easier for them, so they stick to the walls like shadows and find ways to speak to the twins, slipping into videos and pictures, music and books, their forms changing slightly to match whatever media they slipped into. They teach Dipper and Mabel their colours, shapes, ABC's, ect, comfort them when they get sad or scared, and once they're old enough, how to do basic things like getting themselves food and water when they get left alone too long.

Neither Pines parent really notices their children making grabby hands and babbling at open air at first, though they do become a bit concerned when years pass and they still stare at walls and empty corners like there's something there.

Eventually, as we all know, the Pines twins get shipped off to a sleepy town in Oregon, and Euclid and Scalene are, of course, coming along to watch over their little stars. However, they become deeply uncomfortable when they start to see visages of their son carved into every room of the twin's temporary home.

It doesn't take long for the show's antics to start, but Grunkle Stan gets involved in the twins adventures far earlier because during The Inconveniecing, Euclid uses his ability to manipulate televisions to play one of those old PSA's on loop until he gets spooked enough to actually check on the twins, only to find them missing.

Eventually, through the help of Scalene using a radio to drag up an old advert for the Dusk 2 Dawn, he figures out where they are and arrives just in time to see the tail end of their ghostly encounter. Unable to deny his knowledge of Gravity Falls' weirdness, he and the twins have their Season 1 finale talk that night, and Dipper shows Stan Journal 3, which leads to all three of them searching for Journal 2 (Stan doesn't reveal the portal yet)

Bill gets summoned by Gideon like in Canon, but things veer wildly off course when, upon entering Stan's mind, Mabel asks him if he knows Euclid or Scalene. He freezes up upon hearing the names of his parents, and he immediately calls off the deal with Gideon, ripping himself out of Stan's Dreamscape. Before he can process what happened, he comes face to face with someone he's only seen in daymares for the past trillion years

Bill dips the fuck out once he realizes he's not hallucinating, disappearing to Axolotl knows where to do fun, productive things such as: scream, cry, break shit, sob on the floor, drink until the teeth in his eye ache, stare at the space between stars for days on end, and interrogate every single one of his henchmaniacs to see if they spiked his drink.

Mans has absolutely zero clue on how to navigate this situation, eventually settling on stalking the Pines because he genuinely cannot think of any possible way to approach his (apparently alive????) parents. How do you go about atoning for the extinction of your entire species?

Bill Cipher has never been one to do things for others for any other reason than to get something back, but he figures the best place to start is by protecting these fleshy human young that his parents seem so attached to.

dbf! Miguel who laughs with you when you both watch an old horror movie together, trying to convince you that it was actually scary at the time. But all you can see are the poor special effects, the pathetic plastic mannequin supposed to be a dead body...but he doesn't care if the movie you're watching sucks because you're actually together.

What about insecure dbf!Miguel who starts panicking when he notices a few grey hair on his head. And he turns all sheepish and looks at you with a guilty look when you stumble upon him trying to dye his grey roots.

Absolutely flustered dbf!Miguel who squirms and blushes slightly when you tell him that he doesn't need to hide himself, to hide anything or that his hair shines like silver.

I think I like dbf! Miguel because this AU allows us to imagine Miguel getting older, which is something he might not be able to do because of his dangerous life and his mutation. Like, I want that man to experience a real, peaceful life at some point.

I’ve had this au in my brain for months now and only recently drew for it so I’m here to add to the pile of rise aus haha

It’s the standard separated au but my version B) - Donnie grew up with Splinter, Leo stayed with Draxum, Raph ended up at the battle nexus and Mikey was left to roam the streets of the Hidden City.

Donnie: The most mentally stable of the brothers somehow. He was raised in the sewers with splinter, and even though he did receive care, splinter still couldn’t really provide much in terms of affection. Despite that they still love each other, even if distantly. He’s chronically online. He knows every vine ever and plays fps games a lot yes I made him a gamer. He and April are extremely close in this au, having met at a young age and April being the closest thing Donnie has to a sibling until finding his brothers. Splinter also refuses to tell Donnie anything to do with mutants/yokai, or even where they came from, much to Donnie’s dismay. Without his brothers and their antics, he doesn’t get out much, and hasn’t made a battle/protective shell for himself yet.

April: She and Donnie met in early childhood and were practically inseparable, them both being only children, and they basically became each other’s annoying sibling. She’s the only reason Donnie came out of his shell (heh) and she likes to take him onto the surface streets for shenanigans.

Leo: Huguinn pulled Leo from the wreckage of Draxum’s lab and was raised in the rebuilt lab. Draxum genuinely didn’t expect the turtles to come out as literal infants after mutation so it’s a miracle Leo even survived this long lol. (Huguinn and Muninn did most of the work tbh) Draxum considers Leo to be a biproduct/fragment of a failed experiment and uses Leo more as an errand boy than anything else. Because of that Leo’s and Draxum’s relationship is also distant. Leo acts nonchalant and sarcastic for the most part, but he can’t help but want to please Draxum. Leo knows about his brothers and even tried looking for them early on, but eventually gave up. He and Donnie meet first. Also he sneaks out to get pizza at Hueso’s when he’s bored.

Raph: His and Mikey’s stories start out intertwined. They both ended up in the hidden city and lived out the early years of their lives there. When he was around 7 years old, Mikey being 5, Raph was taken as a contestant for a battle royale at the nexus, composed entirely of young yokai. (The battle nexus is quite literally a gladiator ring where contestants kill one another) Raph was taken due to his large size, and after managing to survive the battle royale, Big Mama allowed him to stay and become a fully fledged fighter at the nexus. He moved his way up in rank and became one of the top Nexus champions under the stage name, The Beast. He’s soft spoken and quick to anger at first, having received so little friendly interactions.

Mikey: He and Raph lived in the hidden city together until Raph was taken when he was around 5 years old. After that he was basically left to fend for himself. He survived via stealing and living on rooftops and alleys Aladdin style. He’s incredibly agile and a master pickpocket. He even made a name for himself in the district where he lives as the local thief. This, however, hasn’t dampened his spirits at all and he’s just as bright and bubbly as ever. He loves anything and everything to do with art and often does graffiti wherever he can. He’s an avid battle nexus fan and watches the battles whenever he can ( Leo is also a huge fan).

I’ve legitimately had this au in my head for months and this isn’t even close to everything I’ve conjured up but I had to make something for it or else I’d explode. Despite there being a lot of room for angst in this au, I imagine it as more lighthearted and similar to the show in terms of comedy. If you read this far congrats and give me your strength please

This time of year is really busy for me as a uni student with finals and big projects, so things might be slowing down for a few weeks while I focus on school. But slowing down doesn’t mean stopping! I’ll still post when I have the bandwidth to make things hehe.

A: This is one of the most frequently asked questions I get lmao. The answer is eventually. And not in the way you probably think.

Q: Are Kelpie and Lord Knaw going to get together/date?

A: no.

Q: Who are the parent’s voice claims? (Or other voice/accent related comments and asks)

A: I’ll be making a voice claim video proper at some point in the future, but off of the top of my head, Kelpie is definitely Wendie Malick (i.e. Eda the Owl Lady), Lord Knaw is Keith David (i.e. Goliath from Gargoyles). I don’t have anyone specific in mind for Daisy yet, and Mr. Mustache doesn’t really talk lol.

Here's some lore I've managed to come up with for this au:

-in this au Ellie's mom, Carmelita passed away when Ellie was two, at the hands of The Butler, however Wolverine and Deadpool went on to rescue Carmelita and Ellie. They found Carmelita had passed and Ellie crying hidden nearby, Logan was the one who noticed managing to catch her scent saying something smelled like Carmelita, but smaller, and scared and with a hint of Wade. When Logan found the infant, he held her in his arms and went back to Wade who couldn't believe his daughter was still alive. Wolverine suggested for Wade to take care of The Butler while he took Ellie home making sure she was safe and slashing every opponent he found in the way. Agreeing to meet back up at home at Al's apparent. Logan arrived first with Ellie being safe and explained the situation to Althea, with Wade coming back a couple days later, exhausted but relieved that the butler is now gone. After that for the sake of Ellie both Logan and Wade decided to "quit" the hero business and find regular jobs, settling in to start a more domestic life and raise Ellie together, only helping the Xmen on smaller, low risk missions if they're truly needed.

-after a year Laura was born, in this au she's Logan's biological daughter, as to how she was born, my version of Logan is trans, so you piece together the rest. Ellie was excited to have a little sister but Wade and Logan quickly realized that Al's apartment was starting to get too small for their growing family, so they chose to move out with both girls and Mary puppins to a place that wasn't too far from Al's apparent due to sentimental issues (a.k.a the boys being too attached to Al to completely move out of her life, they visit her every weekend ;3)

-when Laura was born her hair was white, this was because wolverine kits are born with white fur, and by now I think you all know I love giving Logan more animalistic features and traits, so it'll be the same for Laura, as she starts to grow up, the white hair/fur started to shed and turned into dark brown hair.

-Laura inherited Logan's mutation because I'm throwing that "only the (cis) father can pass the mutant gene stuff" through the window. My wolverine is afab/transmasc and still able to pass on his mutation to his child.

I HAVE. SO MUCH. CONTENT. Loretta has been an oc I have had for YEARS so I absolutely have SO much stuff on her! Shes definitely my favorite oc alongside Jack, my other gravity falls oc. The short of it is they are forced to work together out of inconvenience by the Axolotl.. The most recent development has been the change in Lorettas ability revolving her sight because I thought it would be so cool if Loretta had the same/similar kind of mutation to Bill. It didn't change much to her character, just another reason why they ended up at the wrong place at the wrong time (time police events. I seriously need to write fanfic of the whole story LMAO)

Their dynamic is SO FUN. They bicker ALL the time and usually are yapping about something. They live together, so I think they argue over the smallest things. When they first ended up needing to work together, Bill was not thrilled AT ALL. He was VERY closed off. Loretta, not knowing this creature at all, just decided to let him do his own thing. It's only after an event where Loretta protects Bill when he's at his weakest that Bill realizes Loretta is harmless and that it wouldn't hurt to try to get some enjoyment out of her company. That turns into an actual friendship, which turns into Bill finding out Loretta is like him. Through this, they open up and become closer because of their similar identities. They just ended up on different paths because of their own mutations AUGH. Bill wanted more, when in comparison Loretta was content with what her world was already like.

Loretta is a demon hunter. She takes bounties from individuals around town to get rid of weirdness. She naturally has a knack for attracting it, so the job is perfect for her. Bill helps her with her bounties; in exchange, Loretta lets Bill drain her energy so he can regain his physical form. I have a whole animatic on my tiktok that shows how the possession works-

They are silly. They fight over what to watch on the tv, they karaoke and drink together, it takes AGES for Bill to actually open up to Loretta, Whenever they decide to share the bed (even though Bill doesn't sleep) he kicks off Lorreta off of it anyway just to frustrate her, they do makeup together, They drive up to one of the hills in gravity falls via Loretta's motorcycle and watch the sunset together. Love them. I have SO many thoughts on their dynamic, but they are there for each other, and despite all their issues, they love each other. They NEVER say it to each other because Bill is deathly scared of that word.

They are an oc x canon ship so they are together as partners TECHNICALLY. Still, I also think they are so messed up via the canon story that an ACTUAL domestic relationship dynamic just doesn't work for the two. Plus, Bill needs help understanding labels and Loretta doesn't need them. Plus there's the Jack situation...Which is a WHOLE OTHER RANT. JACK. AUGH. The love triangle (literally) goes insane. In my happy au they are a polycule asf.

Bull Hybrid Mezo Shoji x Cow Hybrid Reader NSFW

Fatgum Farms may not be the most popular farm but it is one of the leading farms in the handling and care of Mutated or problematic hybrids. Most hybrids on this farm either have had a history with bad owners leading to severe trust issues and behavioral issues or they are like Taishiro’s Mezo, a bull hybrid with extra limbs. Most Hybrids don’t have quirks but a rare few do. Normally hybrids like Mezo would have been sent straight to the slaughterhouse back in the old days. But Fatgum Farms is one of the best when it comes to dealing with hybrids that have quirks.

Now due to Mezo’s rather strange appearance, he doesn’t have a herd, none the less a mate. Taishiro has been trying to find the poor guy a mate since he knows Mezo is actually a real sweetheart and a softie. Mezo tends to hang out with the normal calves and is very helpful. He helps garden and plow the fields and helps take care of the crops. Taishiro had heard of a cow hybrid that had vision issues and was in need of a mate. He had hoped that this would be the one. He sent the person selling the hybrid a rag that was covered in Mezo’s scent.

Taishiro was so excited when the seller replied to his mail saying that the cow hybrid was seemingly excited upon smelling the rag. So Taishiro went to meet the seller and ended up buying you, the cow hybrid. Taishiro then loaded you up and brought you to his farm where Mezo was waiting. Mezo knew better than to get his hopes up but he couldn’t help but dream of having his own mate to look after. He was always afraid that his body would make it impossible for him to find a mate. But today was his lucky day.

When you got to the farm and were unloaded, it became more obvious what kind of vision issues you had. You were extremely near-sighted. (sorry for those of you with good vision) you could hardly see your hand when it was inches from your face. Your lack of being able to see your surroundings made you a very difficult cow and rather skittish. When Mezo walked up to you, you caught his scent and recognized it. Mezo let you cling to one of his arms as he led you to his small barn.

Raph was infection while on a mission causing his own DNA to mutate uncontrollably, which resulted in Leo having to kill him.

Leo resented working with them and just tolerate having to deal with Redfield, mikey, despite all the hardship they’ve been there still manages to be the sunshine of the twins. Donnie also tolerate Chris but knows there are far worse place to be.

Leo and Donnie have a special link between each other, their usually deployed as a pair as their both highly effected in getting missions complete, however even if they are highly effective and work well together they also cause a lot more destruction in their wake.

An entity encountered after the first loop occured. They claim to be a star, that the Universe sent down to Siffrin after he trapped himself in time. Loop has the same backstory as in canon, the only thing different being some of their characteristics have mutated. For example, they have a tail, sharp claws, they are very tall ( around 7 feet tall ), and they have digitigrade-like legs. Each of the little stars adorning Loop's body, represent one of their own loops, while they were still in their own world.

They used to be Siffrin from another timeline, eventually breaking, and making another wish, which in turn trapped them in another Siffrin's world. Due to the King from their world being a lot more cruler, sadistic, they witnessed things that their psyche could not handle.

They witnessed their Housemaiden's still conscious body hitting the floor over and over and over again, with the King's hand holding onto her limb. Continuously slamming her against the cold, tiled floor. Breaking bones and splattering blood all over.

They witnessed their little Chef Cooker getting crushed within his palm, leaving Loop covered with the child's blood.

They witnessed their Researcher's limbs being torn off.

They witnessed his Fighter getting frozen in time due to the King's tears, before getting shattered into a million pieces, like a mere glass statue falling apart.

Loop's Mind Points will always be equal to 0, but at times with pleasant interactions with Siffrin, their Mind Points will occasionally go up a bit temporarily, reaching 5 at max. They throughly believe that they are the one that deserves Siffrin's place, but as the two spend more time together, ( with Siffrin unaware of Loop's real identity ) the cosmic being becomes attached to him, making it impossible for them to go through with the murder attempt on Siffrin, after he's escaped the loops.

Due to their sanity( or lack thereof lol ), they may occasionally fall into manic episodes. It's best to stay out of their way during those times.
