enjolras and grantaire don’t really dance at parties, but they make an exception with dancing in the moonlight. no one else knows, but it was the song that was playing when R first confessed his feelings for enj

courfeyrac starred in lots of musicals in high school, his most memorable role being tanya in mamma mia (they were short on girls and he could 100000% pull it off)

ferre plays the saxophone and he’s rather good - every friday evening he joins a jam group at a jazz bar

obviously joly is a hypochondriac, but jehan is the complete opposite. at their house, the five second rule is often stretched at ten seconds

cosette is infuriatingly good at shooting pool, and bahorel is not-so-jokingly a little bitch about it every time they play. marius is a disaster and instead of participating he opts to fetch them drinks while they compete

bossuet and joly have a new year’s eve party tradition of reciting poems on top of the coffee table. the poems are all about embarrassing moments les amis have lived throughout the year

me and my friends are having a game night tonight

that got me thinking Les Amis game night

courf always suggests spin the bottle

enjolras *hates* that he's good at monopoly

bahorel and eponine are the people who have flipped the monopoly board the most

gavroche is nearly always banker and gets incredibly into the roll (jehan has many top hats and you beassured they are used for monopoly)

when playing charades or pictionary the triviumate can not team up (they can read eachothers minds)

this also means that jbm can not team up either for the same reason

and Marius and combeferre can't team up or there will be a murder and ferre is not the one who will be dying this time

the board game operation terrifies joly they've all agreed not to play it

cosette likes cluedo a little too much to the point it kinda scares people

combeferre is shit at trivial pursuit unless it's about something of his interest Vs grantaire is incredible at it

feuilly mainly attends the games night for the food and the 'good' vibes and the company poor man needs a break

twister is chaos and bossuet broke his arm and managed to break enjolras nose (again)

it never makes sense to me why musichetta often gets fanonized as a girl who smiles and laughs a lot and is very openly affectionate, because we are given one bit of information about her and it is that she is very much not those things.

what we know about her is that she is hard to please, rarely laughs, she sulks "with cruel patience," and joly would love nothing more than to get a smile from her. on the surface this may seem like an unhappy situation but i would disagree, i think there's something really charming in that.

i mean, on one hand it's a bit of a game between them. musichetta is playing hard to get and joly is falling for it hook line and sinker. but i also just think that musichetta sounds like she is a bit of a melancholy girl by nature, complementary to joly's "eccentric and agreeable" character.

she's also "very literary" with "eyes of a fortune teller," which to me suggests a sort of quiet depth about her. sensual, contemplative, intelligent, and engimatic.
