Feeling a little silly rn so just gonna reveal a few (potential) design inspirations for a few of the Song Cats for the The Jellicle Ballet AU

Skimbleshanks: The Nutcracker from The Nutcracker

Jennyanydots: Mother Ginger from The Nutcracker

#I think my main issue with this au is that them being cats feels like an afterthought #I'm reluctant to drop the cat-ness but I'm thinking of it just because slapping ears and a tail on there feels really messy #and it's been what I've been doing so far rather than trying to blend cats with humans #so esentially I may have to go anthro here #which I have never done and will require a reworking of designs #also to be real with you guys most of these were based of costume design and not actual stoyr #because I have only watched like 3 ballets and I do not have time to watch more #also realising how the majority of the song cats are going to be The Nutcracker inspired #sorry guys I genuinely did not realise #cats the musical
