Welp. Time for a new question to ask every single Link. Someone introduces The whole Chain to modern music. Who's everyone's favorite band and genre, respectively.

DISCLAIMER: I AM NOT A DEVOTED MUSIC PERSON. I PICKED MOST OF THESE MUSICIANS OFF A LIST THAT GOOGLE GENERATED FOR ME WHEN I TYPED IN 'GOOD [GENRE] ARTISTS'. I DID MY BEST. PLEASE DON'T JUDGE ME.

Gen: he's a jazz person, he likes mimic the improvisational riffs with his harp. He likes Ella Fitzgerald, she's very emotive

Speck: he's into dubstep surprisingly, it's like nothing he's ever heard before. Datsik is cool

The Four: they're soundtrack people - movies, games, shows - you name it, they've tried it. Hans Zimmer is a particular favorite

Ocarina and Mask: they're both into pop, but on opposite ends of the spectrum. Mask is more into the fast-paced-beat-heavy stuff, like Panic! At The Disco, whereas Ocarina is more of a power ballad guy, like Taylor Swift

Dusk: he likes folk, as a direct result of growing up in a small rural town. Bob Dylan is very relatable

RGBV: they all like instrumental, although none of them particularly agree on what kind of instrumental. Vio prefers softer piano stuff, Blue appreciates a heavy bass and beat section, Red leans towards strings and orchestral stuff, and Green is more into brass and woodwinds. Listening tastes range from GlitchxCity (Blue), Micheal Tai (Vio), insaneintherain (Green), and Rozen (Red)

Lore: classical music, unexpectedly, but it's the sort of classical that's slightly to the left. For example, that one Tchaikovsky piece that calls for cannonfire twelve separate times

Realm: he likes reggae, for the chill vibes. Bob Marley is peak chill vibes

Sketch: blues have fun riffs, and he appreciates that sort of thing. Jimi Hendrix has very good chord progression i

Wind: orchestral/instrumental, which isn't very surprising given the kind of music he uses to make the weather. Jafet Meza makes good stuff, and Theophany

Steam: techno is his vibe, it reminds him of machinery. Tale of Us is neat

hai krisp I’ll be honest with u i just got into deltarune and i’m in the destroy kris stage where i can’t form any coherent headcanons because every time i see them i tear up and get the urge to wreck everything and chew on drywall but I do think they’d secretly listen to 2021 indie music like cavetown and and stuff but never tell anyone because it messes with their mysterious and quiet personality

unfortunately that stage never fades. sorry.

also pls remember theyre growing up in a small town with various deeply uncool people. dess def got them into indie music and now they think its super mature and cool of them and so on. they also listen to so much lemon demon semi-relatedly. then susie tries to introduce them to sludgepunk or whatever and their mind is expanded
