I am going to loose my mind trying to organise this funeral. And it's just me doing most of it alone so i cannot stop. I have to keep going

#i slept after doing funeral stuff #had a dream my dad was alive and there had been mistake #woke up 7am did funeral stuff #went to sleep again and woke up with Health Symptoms #briefly sat outside #more funeral stuff #emails #phone calls #planning #checking anf rechecking anf recchecking and rechekcigng my damn to do list and emails bc i am so traumatised by #the amount of times i will forget literally any and every thing of little or great importance #music planning #email #photos and massive crying fit #break to eat #looked through 7 photo albums until my mother got mad bc she doesn't wanna do that #looked through cd after cd after cd for 3 hours of photos and some did not have photos and some had funny childhood things and i learnt a #lot about my dad from the cd from the old Brick Box Computer backup from 15 years ago and laughed so hard i triggered my asthma #and couldn't stop cry laughing hysterically for minutes #more photos #checking obsessively my email again anf adding shit to the to do list #and now....#i .... need to sleep but I'm so fucking wired #this is just like when i was at uni #i would work day in day out until i passed out. fall asleep with my laptop on my chest. dream of essays snd research papers. wake up and #start writing without even leaving bed #no fucking wonder i was so suicidal holy fuck???????#all I'm doing is funeral planning for my father but it's like being at uni again with deadlines just not enough time and the urgency

Just realized that if only Poseidon went straight to Ithaca and asked for Odysseus, Penelope could do the biggest gamble of them all and get one of the suitors in SUCH DEEP SHIT.

Poseidon: "Odysseus of Ithaca! Tell me this instant where is this mortal who dared to hurt my son and try to lie about his name!

Penelope: ...

Suitors: ....

Penelope: *weaving stops*

Penelope: *pointing right at Antonius* There he is! This one is Odysseus, my husband and king of Ithaca! Please don't sink us, almighty god of the sea!

Antonius: What? I'm not Odysseus, I--

Penelope: Of course he would say that! He's a liar!

Poseidon: *has no reason to not believe her, wipes him out effortlessly*

Then Odysseus comes back like "It's me, Penelope! Your husband!"

Athena with odysseus: surprise attacking odysseus and bodily slamming him to palace walls (for awareness training). Randomly kidnapping him from the palace to drop him in the woods (or the ocean or on two memorable occasions on a completely different island) (survival training), using her full strength in sparing matches (odysseus has many broken bones) dragging him up by his wrist so they're face to face. Not being careful with how often she uses quick thought or any of her other powers (what? He seems fine. She's sure odysseus has always been a freak it's definitely not brain damage it's/fine/hes /fine)

Athena with telemachus, after she accidentally knocked him out once: right right odysseus and penelope taught me how to do this when they had me babysit you. Gotta be gentle so so gentle. Gotta support the head gotta craddle humans not yank them up by the wrist (she knew odysseus was a freak why didn't he say anything??) Can't just funnel her full power into the kid gotta be so gentle.

I need the EPIC animators to make a quick series starting with Poseidon taunting Odysseus with the fact that he can’t kill a god, and Odysseus saying he knows; that whole scene.

Then there being flashbacks of his time on Calypso’s island and it’s just scenes of her trying to have a good time with him but every time she turns away Odysseus tries to pull off some Tom and Jerry style trap to kill her but they all fail.

I need this.

A little 15 min doodle but first post of the year has to be Bingqiu!

#ok its time to get mushy in the tags because I doubt anyone would read them too closely #I’ve had severe art block for YEARS before I got into danmei in 2024 #and it wasn’t that my skill was gone it’s just that I thought nothing I did was good enough #I started reading danmei around the summer of last year and I got SO INSPIRED #I dived into the fandom side of things (I haven’t been in a live fandom in years) and was so excited about all the art people were making #and writing! and music! and animatics!#everything was so bright and colorful and beautiful #and everyone had such cool designs for these book characters that I’d grown to love #so I took a chance and doodled a little Luo Binghe and posted him on here #and I was so taken aback by how welcoming and sweet the fandom was #it made me wanna keep taking chances and posting my art— because I think that’s one of the hardest things I’ve come to accept #that even if it’s not good enough for me #someone else may enjoy it #and ain’t it crazy that ive come to enjoy drawing again too #sure the interaction has been fun but it’s been even more fun experimenting with my style and experimenting with colors and rendering #and grayscale and angles #and composition and expressions #ahh!! art is so fun!!
