listen listen ok i love age gap stuff as much as the next fujo but in zhongven's case the WAY funnier and more accurate dynamic is college prof. zhongli and the guy everyone thinks is his undergrad (at worst) or TA (at best) but who is actually a 36 year old fellow teacher from another university. every time venti visits zhongli on campus for a quickie to bring him lunch, zhongli has to put up with a swirl of rumors about his scandalous relationship with a babyfaced newly-18 year old. students keep showing up after class thinking they can flirt their way out of his notoriously difficult 10 page final exam. his reputation with most of his fellow teachers is so strained and awkward.

and venti is a year older than him.

Okay okay I know it kinda sounds like a Basic Love Song, but the more I listen to Stargazing by Myles Smith, the more it screams rayllum to me. Not just cuz of the title, even if that is definitely a part of it. The lyrics and vibe just really says rayllum imo, especially for s6 and probably s7. Also it's just a really good sounding song. And I'm weak for the fact they've gone stargazing twice now and also fully reconciled in the Starscraper, so it just fits ya know. ((And theres also that certain star-themed song title that we're all fixating on atm but whatever lolol))

Not basic at all!! That song is sweet and also on my rayllum playlist, I'm just waiting for s7 to come out to edit them to it for an AMV. Rayllum + stargazing / star motif and choosing each other as their destinies is something I'm weak for. I always think of them for these lyrics in particular:
