#alright snark and ship wars aside i get where you’re coming from tho #if you're genuinely interested in my thought process here i would love to elaborate #which is exactly what I’ll do!#first of all! the post you linked is about headcanons #which my brain kinda wants to put into a whole different category than ships — fandom ships in particular! — but i can leave that aside #because there IS an argument to be made that relationships are an extension of characterization and personality traits #if you wanna go that route i would wanna explain that Bloom's and/or Valtor's interest in the other is in fact based on canon #(even though I don’t really think ships need to be established in the source material. make shit up that’s what fandom is for #1) the Andros episode speaks for itself. Valtor specifically tells the Trix to back off because HE wants to be the one to fight bloom #2) the episode before that he asks questions about her (and only her; even though he has more powerful enemies to worry about)#demonstrating curiosity about and interest in her #3) that same episode (or the one before; can’t remember) is their infamous first meeting #where time LITERALLY slows down as the pass each other on the stairs #they get IMPACT FRAMES #the whole color palette changes!!!#idk about u but I eat that shit up. love the drama of it all no one does it like them #I’m gonna skip all the instances where Valtor is spying on Bloom through his little scrying spell because oh god who has the time #let’s go straight to Bloom #if I had a week I would not be able to collect all the moments where she growls his name in pure fury and single-minded determination #she gets a little bit obsessed with him over the course of the season and I personally think that’s very sexy of her #Bloom is known for her tunnel vision when it comes to her past and origins and Valtor's existence fits PERFECTLY into that #it ties in neatly with her overarching story of the past 2 seasons #literally PERFECT foils #which always makes for the juiciest stories #4) she singles him out for a duel in the museum episode #5) she can literally feel his presence #6) the mere mention of his name sends her into her weird faux enchantix #of course there’s no romance in canon but there’s TENSION AND CHEMISTRY which is all u really need for a ship #all their animosity and bad blood is what makes it so INTERESTING to wonder how they COULD work. it’s the spice that makes for good fanfic!

I am a mess what an ending, people heading on journeys and Chan setting Khatha free because he loved him all alone, Chan forcing Khatha to fight for his new loves and new life, Khatha having the chance to be with Chan at the end of his life and to dream with him, Dome getting to help save the world, The One giving a speech about free will and killing god, Triphob giving up his chance at love for her life, Chan releasing Khatha from his obligations but giving him back the freedom to love with the Dome, the return of Khatha's scepter, Chan looking at the moon with Khatha, Dome promising to stay at his side no matter his choices... I am a mess that was glorious and I hope Khatha and Dome find a lot of happiness together whereever and whenever they might be.

every now and then it really dawns on me that a bunch of strangers are going to pay money to see the exhibit I created and read the words I wrote and see the mannequins I dressed up and like. this is the weirdest kind of pressure.

#like I know this is just kind of how the world works #and by far most things are created by a person (or several)#but like #how #why???? am I solely in charge of an entire exhibit of a museum during peak season #I would say who allowed this but I know exactly who. I see them constantly.#the amount of faith people apparently have in me to pull this off #I GUESS this is imposter syndrome talking but like I just kind of rolled up to the historical clothing world 2.5 years ago knowing fuck all #gave myself a crash course #and apparently I did this convincingly enough that people are okay with putting me in charge of a whole ass exhibit????????????????#and like making this exhibit costs actual money that comes from an actual budget from a government subsidy #and I'm just tossing ideas out there and people go sure yeah you can do that like ?????????????????????????? that easy huh?!?!?!?!?!

I was today years old when I learned you can use vacation days to pad out your meager paycheck if you worked very few days that month

#like hell yeah i'll sacrifice 3 days of my yearly vacation days so i can have a bit more money next month!!!#it's not like i'll ever use those vacation days #the last time i went on holiday/had a proper vacation was 10 years ago lol #and even that was only 6 days of vacation out of the country. because anything more would be too expensive #even in the off seasons like autumn and winter #still... i miss autumn vacations in denmark something fierce. visiting the windswept beaches. museum trips. legoland <3 #and the evenings spent all warm and cozy infront of the woodburning oven of these cute little vacation homes 🙏#oh and the fresh danish milk at the supermarket aughhhh and the delicious pastries and baked goods at the local bakery. smørkrans......#miss it all a lot 😭#maybe one day. when i have the means to get up there on my own. and when i have enough money

#nana talks #right when boots season starts too oh my god #and they didn't even look like ancient museum pieces or something they looked fine for 6 year old shoes #but the platform sole snapped in half so time to let them go I guess #so like I had to get new boots and I know I'm gonna suffer because off all boots out there I chose docs #for super cheap too I had like 20 discount codes #so like when they come I have to use a blow dryer on them #and pretend I'm running a marathon #what I do to look stylish #one time I showed up to class a whole hour late because I kept changing my makeup and after the first change I was like #ok we're gonna be late regardless omg also might as well change sweaters 5 times #omg also literally all my other boots cannot get wet and rain is like the neutral state where I live so it was a needed purchase
